I am archiving this cache due to the unfortunate lack of action taken to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, SmokyBear, requesting additional time.
Despite ample opportunities provided for the Cache Owner to respond, their silence leads me to the conclusion that the cache has been abandoned.
In such cases, archived caches will not be unarchived, and as a result, this location is now open for the placement of a new cache by another interested party.
Thanks,

Could not find it because of a lack of service with Telstra. It navigates but not precisely.
out caching and 4wding with papabogs. 2nd find for the day. cache is in good condition all things considered but latch is rusted and handle nearly worn through (see pic). papabogs used a rock to open and i signed for us both.
i love finding the original logbooks. TNLNSL

Thanks for taking us to this interesting place we wouldn’t have found it if not for the cache coordinates. On our way to meet the WAGB 4WD group
Down for WAGB catching up with old friends and making new ones. A great weekend with a huge assortment of finds to get. Thank you to each of the COs for placing and maintaining these caches and contributing to making this weekend such a success. Out 4WDing in the car with Cravo10 & FRATRA in convoy signing as WAGB21 4WD
Stunning view Thanks for bringing me here

Final activity for WAGB 2021saw 4 vehicles tackle the Cape Howe off road tracks.
Still smiling from the enjoyable journey. With 9 teams it was decided to sign the logs WAGB 21 4WD CONVOY.
Thank you Cravo 10 for being our driver and Geotrakka for the great company.
TFTC SmokyBear this is find # 11955 for us.

We met at the info board for a 4WD convoy organised for WAGB21. This was our second stop on a fantastic journey around the cape for geo's. Thanks for organising this as I don't have the experience to attempt this sort of drive by myself. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Thanks for placing this geo in this rather obscure location to entice me out of my comfort zone for some 4WD fun. TFTC
Staying in Denmark and today we are out 4wdriving with half muggle and came across this cache. Nice find by the geoson, great views from gz. Tftc
A Quick find with the guys after a hairy 4WD out to the cache at West Cape Howe. Fantastic views and abundance wildflowers. Thanks SmokeyBear for bringing us here
Battle group of bigSalmon1, Mandate7, Tedrick, Bosto1 and PeriodicScotts made a determined thrust on a spectacular and windy day.
Many thanks CO for getting us here.
A quick find on our way to Dunsky beach and a couple of first to finds love this place have been here many times thank you Smokey Bear for the cache
What a view, leaves the Gap for mediocre.
Powerful wind blowing up the ravine this day, that was embracing as you tried to walk amongst it all.
Thanks for the cache.

Exploring the southwest a little more today, amazing too see so much water around I guess it is winter however I don’t think when I was living down here it was ever like this.
Took to some tracks that I wasn’t able to get to before, all up a great day out with more to come tomorrow.
What a great journey out here, I think I was rather luck with the water on this occasion as it made the tracks rather firm, in the summer I’m sure there are some stuck vehicles out here.

Down in Albany with C10 and headed out towards Denmark testing the capabilities of his new 4wd. Found a good variety of caches, but the rain made it a bit slippery. Had to dodge a fair few puddles on the trails today.
Thanks for the fun.
Thanks for the fun.
Out on a 4wding day with kiwinic finding a couple of hiding spots and grabbed some great caches! Tftc
Set out with the plan of getting a couple of caches around West Cape Howe, and loaded the geotruck with the kids and muggle mum and set off.
After trekking out to gruggleberries' how south can you get?? We made a detour to this one so the geokids could swap a few bits. We left a robot and a fire truck, and took the corkscrew... Seeing as it is new years eve
Thanks for an epic adventure smokybear

Out for a drive in west Cape Howe national park today start of track was getting re-dressed with soft sand by bobcat operator. We stopped and asked him if we could go through and he said the reason for soft sand is so that anyone entering the national park will let thier tyres down so that the track erosion from cars is minimalised. We let our tryes down and still did struggle to get through the start though the rest of the track was easy! Got to the gap area and found the cache a gz quite easily! Beautiful location worth the drive! Tftc!
Lovely place and amazing views and finally went to look over the edge a good easy find, missed it to start off with but a family member pointed it out TFTC
So many trips to this location over the years for climbing but never looked up the local caches... was always too keen to get on the cliff! A short walk fro this cache to the West is a seperated sea-stack of rock, known as the 'Old Man of Torbay'. An epic feature and very photographic especially if you have a couple of climbers ascending the route. Anyway, found the cache prior to doing 'The Climb' on the sea stack.
Small warning for kids - the cache is rusted and very hard to open. Suggesting owner to maintain to avoid any injury.

Completely rusted off handle, hinge frozen/stiff from rust, and occasionally taking on water. Would be quite hard to open for a child, it was hard for me to open and I'm not exactly small. Suggest a replacement ammo can, but because of the sea-salt exposure it would be better to use the nylon plastic modern version (similar cost to regular metal ammo cans)
TFTC I would like to see this one continue on for many years to come.

Walked in from the Shelley beach lookout, we really liked this area, the ocean, the waves and the breathtaking views. TFTH
Another glorious day, with so many more caches just waiting to be found around the Albany area. We headed over this way to grab the last WA Explorer that I need before I can do the math and then tackle the 5/5 final up in the Stirling Ranges somewhere. Not sure what I am letting myself in for, but I am going to give it my best shot.
Whilst down this way, it seemed a shame not to come the extra distance and find this old cache, or at least try to find it. Thanks to my obliging host Tango, we set forth after finding Flinders. The track in reminded me of the track out to Steep Point, which seemed kind of appropriate - Steep Point being the most westerly point of WA and Cape Howe being the most southerly. On both tracks, all you can do is take it slow and hope that you don't meet an oncoming vehicle at the wrong time.
We were lucky today though, only having to pull off the side for two other vehicles (Victorian number plates, so no guesses for who had to give way to who??). Saw some absolutely stunning scenery on the way in and out, but the gap near gz is amazing - all that power! A bit scary too!!
The cache took a bit of searching for, but I got it in the end. The lid was tightly stuck on, but opened with a bit of persuasion. Contents are all ok, awaiting the next caching team to come along. Coords were a little bit out, but I left it where I found it. Unfortunately, the battery in my camera was flat so I couldn't take any photos while there, but I won't be forgetting about this adventure for a long time to come.

Traveled down to Albany and the Stirling ranges area with a mate at Easter, did this cache as part of a whole heap. Great way to see the fantastic areas on show. Good to see some really interesting areas hidden away.

Headed south for a relaxing road trip with the Western Patrol Club and a mate. We stayed at Cheynes Beach before heading across to West Cape Howe and then into the Stirling Ranges for our last few nights. Beautiful coast line, awesome hills, great fishing, and some good 4wding. Gotta love this state of ours.
Awesome 4wding down to the capes. TFTC

We are heading to the Mega in Murray Bridge SA over Easter. We camped overnight at Cosy Corner and the 4x4 caches nearby were beckoning us.
We tackled the 3 easy ones then moved towards this and How South can you get??
We had a marvellous time and thoroughly enjoyed getting out and about in the GeoCruiser. Its a great shame that people ever put that Conveyer belt matting down. Its such a hazard. We prefer the method that if the car cant do it naturally then maybe we shouldn't be going there!
Still the weather was magical and the track quite manageable taken with caution. We only met 4 other cars and 3 of them were at a bypass bay. So lucky to say the least. [^]
We loved this cache. Our hearts skipped a beat when we saw the magnificent view of the 'gap' wow oh wow. This is an amazing place in our beautiful WA. Thanks so much for putting a cache here.
TFTC SmokyBear A fave from us.

A long walk but worth it. Looking over that rock at the ocean far below is incredible. Thanks SmokyBear.
Maybe someone could give the hinge a spray with some WD40 or similar if you happen to have some handy. It's starting to seize up. Also another pencil or two if you have a spare. There is still one there but it's on it's last legs.

Well, what can I say!! Track was very heavy going with lots of large holes and drop-offs to negotiate. Hopefully it will improve after the summer months. Arriving at GZ, the view and the area are spectacular. Another reminder of the ruggedness and beauty of our coastline. TFTC
Fun drive in. Great to see some people abseiling down the cliff face but didn't manage to find the cache.
We left our caravan at Cosy Corner and took an afternoon drive out to find this cache. The rain had been very heavy two nights earlier and kept the dust to a minimum nevertheless the track was heavy going in places and I really wouldn't recommend anyone without a good ground clearance attempting it as the conveyor belting used to stablilze some of the uphill sections have been "spun-up" and we found ourselves having to negotiate the piles of rucked up rubber.
We would suggest that if you own a "soft - roader" you really shouldn't attempt either of these two caches. If you really don't like giving your 4WD a new set of pinstripes then maybe you would be advised against this trip too.
Hopefully all of the above doesn't sound too negative and will be taken as it is intended as an indication of track conditions for those who aren't sure whether or not to try the two caches in this area. We had a wonderful time and the views experienced at and around GZ are unlike anywhere else we have visited in the southwest. After a short hunt we found the cache which is in excellent conditon and while being watched by kangaroos we signed the log, returned the cache to its' spot and then set about taking many photos. We had a great afternoon of 4 wheel driving - hoping we still have happy thoughts when we finally get back home to Geraldton and are trying to polish out the scratches.
Thanks

Yet another spectacular location on the coast. We were lucky enough to see some mad people abseiling and rock climbing on the massive sheer cliff walls!
We enjoyed the area with a large group of youth - great location and views, and nice to see a cache here. As others have reported, the coordinates were also inaccurate for us - we ended up 7 meters west.
Found after a short search. GZ was about 5 meters from my reading on my GPS, but no problems locating the cache. Loved the drive in (and out) and combined the trip to get 'How south can you get.' A great afternoon and nature never get boring. Fantastic views and a good place to spend an afternoon. Cache is in OK condition, with all contents inside at no risk of getting wet. Left glow in dark key ring took Poncho. TFTC
FlyingPigSquadron has landed! Great spot. Ammo can rusting out fast becoming difficult to open. Enjoyed watching the abseilers and the coast line TFTC&H SmokyBear
Made the trek out to find a couple of other new caches in the area and hadnt done this one. Walked in and watched the washing machine action going on at the gap area before heading over to the cache.
Made the find and dragged myself away from a marvelous spot. Thoughts of winning lotto and getting a suitable vehicle for driving to caches such as this going through my mind on the way back to the car.
TFTC SmokeyBear.
Didn't have anything to drop in and didn't take anything.

Quick check of the cache. It's very nearly empty! Will visit again soon to re-stock with goodies.
Been meaning to do this one for ages but never got to it. What a beautiful view from the cliffs. Took the travel bug, will help to on its way. TFTC
A fantastic day rock climbing the cliffs of West Cape Howe with a Geocache to boot. Does it get any better?
Could not get the lid off the cache, starting to get a little rusted. Recommend a screwdriver or similar to prise if off.

A fun four wheel driving adventure getting to this cache! Now I can say I've been to the most southern spot in W.A. TFTC
Wow...what an amazing place....I walked in from Shelleys and now I have some lovely blisters.....the last time I came here was 30 years ago....and I vaguely remember blisters back then! Spent awhile just taking it in....and delaying the inevietable walk back. Great spot for a cache...although the box is a tad rusty and very very diffucult to open...may need replacing....I would of carried it out but may be easier for someone with a 4WD! thank you I really enjoyed this one!
Beautiful trip out though track is deteriorating. Hope there will be repairs before Easter. Lovely views and good cache. Left a koala, took sunglasses. Very grateful. Thanks.
I've had this one printed out since Sept 2007 waiting for a suitable ride out in a 4WD. Finally got a lift with Laurelwood and what a drive it was. Track is getting chopped up and very rough. Great views of the coastline today. Cache is in prefect condition. TFTC
Fantastic location! Shame the weather wasn't very good as the view would be incredible. Definitely required a capable 4WD. A very exciting journey through the off road track! Took us a while to find the cache but got it in the end - TFTF
Lawrence family holiday to Middleton Beach for a week was made more pleasureable by this cache. Michael, Donna, Brittany, Joshua, Brandon and Georgia had a great time. Thank you.
Though it should be pointed out that when I turned off the main road and went 4wd the little ones were a tad scared. Found some young guns who had gone off the beaten track in need of help, spent an hour and a half digging there 4wd out (bottomed out), so in five minutes flat I snatched them out and did my good deed for the day.
It was also amazing to see seven rock climbers abseiling down then climbing up the huge cliffs near this cache.

This cache we actually done a few weeks ago but have had a bit of trouble logging, some people think that I have all the time in the world but this is not so. Had a great day out with wefoundit2 taking us to more places we have not been before and we loved it. We have acccess to such beautiful coastline here and this place is no exception. Came across some crazy rock climbers and my feet where tingling just watching them. Great spot and great place for a cache, lots of good swaps in this one. As we have not had much rain the track into this place was quite good aparently and the cache was in good condition. TFTF
Found previously as one of the “Rainbow Coasters” (Original log date 10/07/09 incorrect).
The Coasters had been itching to get the final local outstanding cache off the screen for some time. The drive in to car park where the cache is located was okay, but the drive across to Dunsky Bay was a bit more difficult. The track is starting to become degraded and opening up with some big holes. The views and coastline are awesome. Had trouble getting the GPS to behave as the ‘goto” kept on cutting in way off the cache. Had to resort to the old fashion way and walk the co-ords to get a fix on the cache. Now for those damm puzzles that have us scratching, shaking and filling our heads with all manner of ideas trying to solve them.
Freezing cold day, showers of rain and gail force winds....but nothing a few jumpers, jackets, scarves and gloves cant fix! Have been out to Golden Gates a few times with the folks, but today Tarzan got to test out his newly purchased 4wd... After a few nail biting slopes, bumps, holes and puddles, we got to the end of the track and located the cache. We had a great sunday afternoon adventure!! TFTH. TNLN
We normally go out this way on a warm summer’s day, have a picnic and do a spot of fishing. I’m glad we’ve now seen this spectacular coastline being pounded by a furious sea whipped up by force 9 winds. Shared the experience with Tarzan and Jen.
Took travel utensils and left wet weather gear.

P.S Cache, logbook and all the contents are still in very good condition. No need for a maintenance visit SmokyBear.

Very interesting cache off we go after deflating our tires and bump here a scrap there a scratch over here and a scratch over there. Nothing a bit of a self panal beating won't put right tee hee after dislodging our back bumper and a side step.
Got there located the cache after a short search and then it was our way back and o what fun it was great.
this is our number 101!!!!
Thanks for bringing us to this amazing place. Can't wait to bring "Pop and his clan" to this great spot.

Found after a nice trip in, in another cachers 4wd. ( Thanks Ryan clan, saved me banging up my ute). A great spot worhty of a cache. Thanks
I'm glad to see my one & only cache is still attracting those with a sense of adventure. From the sound of it, the track may be a little more challenging than when I first hid the cache. Can any of those that have recently visited advise what the condition of the cache & logbook is? Do I need to visit for maintenance any time soon?
It was a very scary track but it was fun too. I like going down the big hills. Did swaps and SL TFTH
Cool a bit of scrapidge here and there i loved the excitement. ooh aughhhhh cooool alrighhhht. did swaps and had a lot of fun thanks
Found it no problems left a Golf ball marker from the Vines Golf club. Great spot good 4wding to get there
The track was interesting (Liz ) (Bruce ). Found the cache without any problem - great views. Took travel bug. Thanks for the cache and showing us this most southerly spot in WA.
This was an excellent 4wd adventure - the road in was pretty hairy in places but our Prado managed it without turning a hair. And then we arrived GZ to see the most spectacular piece of coastline! Wow! What views!
We then enjoyed a picnic lunch while being entertained by a half dozen death-defying rock climbers scaling the sheer cliffs on the other side of the gap.
The cache was easily found with accurate coords. TN. Left my pathtag and Mischief's Crew's Cacher Crossing GC.
Thanks ever so much for bringing us to this amazing place, SmokyBear.

What an adventure, we loved the 4WD track, the scenery and remoteness of the area. Thanks for bringing us to this wonderful spot. We were surprised when two 4WDs full of young fishermen descended on us before we had even got the lid off the cache, no drama's though signed log and re-hid right under their nose. TFTC Smokey Bear.
Not quite at ground zero? Took a bit of a hunt to find it. And not helped at all by the very strong winds that blew a 10yo geokiddie over, and bent the hinge on the tailgate of my fourby.
Stunning views, despite the rain and wind.

Tackled this one while on holidays from S.A. Took our lunch and had fantastic views while we ate. Took Snoopy and left a waterhen. After lunch we managed to take the wrong track back and got to see Dunsky Beach by mistake. Just as well we had plenty of time. Eventually got back safely after a great 4WD excursion. Thanks Smokey Bear.
Such a beautiful day (25 deg) decided to try our luck with this cache after lunch. Tough 4 x 4 drive in but the view that awaits is worth the jostling about.
Took about 15 minutes to locate, the vegetation has probably grown a bit in the past 10 months since last find.
Cache in very good condition.
Took - Playing cards
Left - Soap and calling card

Loved it!! Fun of 4x4 exercise to be had by all in the occassional raining and windy day. No swaps. One of the best seascape view with the high cliff to be had. It was one of the best caches. Thanks for the great location and cache.

Found the cache with no major issues, I loved the 4wd through this area, It was a very cold and windy day but the views are just fantastic. Took the mini torch left Woody.
Had just found Bibb Track Reviver "Torbay sounds Like sorbet !" http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=ee8071b7-a7e3-4592-ae2f-14747164ad20 with my brother when I said... "There's another cache, its only two and half kilometres away. Quite a walk... are you up for it?"
Slight pause.
"Ok."
We had no idea what we were in for. But it was worth it. I doubt many people walk in here, but when there's a geocache and you have no 4x4 what else is there to do.
Like I've said before, this cache was a follow-the-arrow endeavour, I'd never seen the cache page before I decided to attempt it. But it was worth it because it was eventually found at about 3:15pm! Woohoo! An excellent view and we found it just before three 4wd loads of tourists arrived (the cache site is in view of the carpark).
IN: Maccas Toy
OUT: Keychain
Then explored near the cliffs. Oooh don't get too close. That's a long fall followed by a short swim with the fishies. Then pounding against the rocks. Charming, eh?
The walk back, a gradual uphill, almost killed me. But that cache was worth it.
Slight pause.
"Ok."

Woohoo! An excellent view and we found it just before three 4wd loads of tourists arrived (the cache site is in view of the carpark).

Then explored near the cliffs. Oooh don't get too close. That's a long fall followed by a short swim with the fishies. Then pounding against the rocks. Charming, eh?
The walk back, a gradual uphill, almost killed me. But that cache was worth it.

Erred on the side of caution with only a soft 4x4. Lots of activity over the holidays has caused a little damage to the track. Save this one for later.
Just a quick visit to check all is in order and generally tidy up the cache contents. Congratulations to Aushiker on a worthy FTF ... walking in here is pretty hard-core.
