Called in to have a cuppa on our way to Sydney and found the cache.
Thanks.
Thanks.
found a bent screwdriver up where I expected to find this cache. In my opinion it has been muggled, but I am open to hearing someone else find it after me...
Looked and looked and after the spiders earlier in the day we were too scared to try sticking our hands up there!!!
So it's a DNF for us.
So it's a DNF for us.
It wasn't the two legged muggles that worried me, it was the eight legged arachnid with the red stripe sitting right next to GZ. Tried to get it with a stick but it was too quick and I wasn't game to put my hand in.
Nice quick find and a well deserved play for the geo kids after a hot day of chasing caches.

Found by Mary & David at 1535. Not where we expected to find it as we arrived, but still a fairly quick find. The Hotel seemed quiet, with very few cars in the car park. Our thanks once more to Scenic Routers.
Not sure if the vandals got to this one first or if we were just suffering from the typical christmas hangover......maybe next time.
Found at 14:40 with Wasptor, Teglian, herca and frogdude - my fiftieth cache on our Bathurst 24 hour Caching Event weekend.
We had to abandon our first go at this one due to the muggle-picnickers who were going nowhere for a while. The coast was clear on our return - we grabbed the cache quickly, signed the log, and racked off again before the next wave of muggles arrived.
Thanks Scenic routers

Found in the region while attending the Bathurst 24 hour Event cache. Found with cachers Teglian, Herca, FrogDude and sw2092.
This was number 47 for the cache count during the Bathurst 24 hour event, found this cache with Wasptor, SW2092, Frogdude and Herca.
Found at 14:42 while in the region attending the well organised Bathurst 24 hour Event cache. Found with fellow cachers from Canberra with Wasptor, Teglian, FrogDude and SW2092.
Had to drive off, grab a couple of others before returning in hope the muggle picnicers had left.... a quick, find, sign & re-hide, just in time as a new group arrived.

Found this cache at 9:25 am on our way to the Corner Country. (This being our second attempt, too many muggles last time.) We had an early morning tea stop.
Thanks Scenic Routers.
Thanks Scenic Routers.
All the boys across the road must still have been thawing out as no one was out today. We had to resort to clue for this one as 1 terrain caches are supposed to be accessible by wheelchair. Not this one! Suggest that you up the terrain by half a star.
Another easy find once I rethought the stats. Thanks Scenic routers.

The name makes more sense when you are there. Located the cache fairly easily - retrieving and returning proved a little difficult with the mum and son so nearby. Managed to get it, sign it and return under the guise of stop, reviving and surviving.
Came by at 6pm, way too many muggles right at GZ. Came back 1hr later, no muggles, found easily, Thanks SR.
Oh well - not a good start to the day. Nice spot, no muggles, but couldn't find it.
Thanks anyway Scenic Routers.
Thanks anyway Scenic Routers.
Hmm GPS was spot on...used the clue...no muggles....no container. Bugger looked for a good time here but no luck.
Three Quarters of Team Stilllookin found this one with whilst out and about with some great local company. Thank goodness we were as he came up with the goods after a bit of searching.
Parents wanted to try a cache and we thought this might be an easy one in town. Realised what the hotel was as we headed out, best accomodation in town?! but still a quick and easy one. TFTC
On our way home after being away for 5 weeks to the tip of Australia (Cape York). Caching our way along Decided to come home on inland roads. Hence coming thru Bathurst and thought this would be a quick one , But not to be as some muggles arrived just as we did and were preparing to settle in for some time. We tried to look without giving it away, but could not locate it were the gps said it should be. We will try next time in Bathurst.
Thanks Scenic routers for the chance.

We went & checked the log today & relaced ,thanx to all who have found our caches & we hope there are lots more finder to come, Thanx again from the Routers!
Easy find, but there were soooooo many muggles about it was not funny. Had to time the searches just right to avoid being spotted. Found and logged as the last for the day
Edit: and cache 99. Darn, was hoping to hit the 100 today

Well the hint says it all. Might be needing some fresh paper soon. Seems a lot of cachers have found this little one.
I remember not finding this one on the way home from the Dubbo event last year. How did we miss this one?! Sheesh, easy find when you know how. I guess I'm just a bit older and wiser. Thanks for the cache.
On a recent visit to Bathurst for the show I found just a little time for cache retrieval. This was a lovely simple cache and except for a delay in replacement when muggles settled down for a short stay all went well.
Thanks, Rathard.
Thanks, Rathard.
Am embarrassed to say we didn't find this the first time however our hands must have been millimetres away. Found the second time with the Routers. Thanks guys.
finally coming past the other day and it was muggle free, left name and headed home
we found the location of the cache but wasnt able to get cause of muggles, went back and tried three or four times but too crowded. Will try again another time.
Rather muggly area at times. Good timing required, and posssibly some waiting around. Not sure if correct date.
Found as one of 32 succesful finds and 2 DNF attempts this weekend.
Excelent weekend except for the 15 hour delay due to car breakdown, and spending the night in a repairers parking lot, but that is another story.
Left signature, took only good memories
thanks for the cache
watched a Muggleing in action, kids playing at GZ and witht he container, but theyput it back once i got pout of the car and headed towards them ( with my freddy cruger mask and glove on)

Good spot for our last cache of the day! Located it quickly before any muggles realised what we were up to.
Thanks again!

It's a shame people don't respect the facilities that are provided for their enjoyment. When we pulled up, we noticed burnt rubbish all over the BBQ's, overflowing rubbish stacked around it and two full dead fish on the tables, it must have been some party. We had this cache in hand within 5 minutes of reaching GZ.
Thanks Scenic Routers, we think we have finally worked out the Bathurst cache hiding techniques

#21 for the day. Tried this one mid afternoon, but had to return later in the day due to muggle inhabitants. Another easy find.
Our fourth visit to this location as it almost looked like someone had taken up residence there. Successful on this visit. Thanks Scenic Routers.
I first tried this one earlier in the day, but there were too many people around for a search. I returned much later in the day, not long before sunset. The place was deserted which allowed me to search unimpeded. I quickly logged my find and replaced the cache. I can't imagine being able to find it with anyone around. Thanks for the cache.
A not too difficult find, even under the gaze of some of Her Majesties guests across the street. I don,t think they are going to muggle this cache though!
Plenty of dried vomit at this cache. Of course c.j.b. sat in it!
Thanks Scenic routers!
Thanks Scenic routers!
Arrived on the saturdqay precisely one minute ahead of family group with biggest picnic hamper you've ever seen! Came back at 09.05 on a rainy and stormy sunday morning to beat the rush!!! Bagged it! 11 of 35 planned
Grabbed on the second visit..many muggles around on the saturday..sunday was raining.yes gotcha!

Had to make two trips to this one as the were too many muggles the first time around. Thanks Scenic routers.
Found this one just as the great race started, man gotta love the sound of those V8's as they power up the mountain.
This one was our last cache this trip.
This one was our last cache this trip.
Finally bagged this one on the way home form Manly with a full Team Bluedog. No GPS, just remembered from last time with the muggles. Funny how you can find a micro in town, but we couldn't find a cousins house in town. Thanks.
Our 2nd attempt at this one it was a not able to find the first time a few months ago good spot to stretch the legs .

Cache Find #9 for Today,
Had to come back for this one as it was busy with muggle's the first time we stopped by, yet this time no one in site and a nice easy find.

We have been hot on the tail of Team Bluedog today even though he was here yesterday! We did this one after SUNDOWN and it was easy as no muggles Thanks SL
Found easily - we knew where to go from our last visit. We didn't log a DNF last time as we were sure it was there - just weren't prepared for the fetch! Easily retrieved this time.
Thanx again Routers

Sometimes I think that engaging in GC may land us in the hotel across the road. I have looked very suspicious on many an occasion. The coat of arms above the gate across the road is a work of art sculptured in stone.
Thanks for the tour of the town routers.

A few muggles but managed to to a dance if you know what I mean and had a play on the swings. Pam
Had a dance and a play on the swing with Froggy 346. A few muggles around. Nice hide.

Stop for this one but don't get sprung by the neighbours. They are a little anti-public enemy in the way they deal with people. The Man has strange was of dealing with the public filth. Fortunately these pair of pidgeons flew the coup.
The Bronze.

On the way back into town for breakfast we were passing by so stopped for a quick log and run. Thanks. It was a bit muggly this morning but we were quick so no problems. Number 16 on the “Mix and Bronze Tea Party Weekendâ€. Thanks.
Another quick stop just before leaving town to head further west. It was handy being a rainy day as there were no other people around.
After spening a weekend finding micro caches at Dubbo this one took no time at all.
Thanks Scenic Routers
Thanks Scenic Routers
Bathurst premier hotel, always full, invites only. Nice hidey hole. Decided to check all of the C and found a pocket knife. Not sure if this is an escape tool or not but it is there no longer.
Thanks Scenic Routers.
Thanks Scenic Routers.
Weell we didn't do enough caching in Dubbo so we thought we might have a stop over in Bathurst and grab some more. Yet again the relos came with us.
Thanks SR

We stopped in on the way home but the place was teeming with muggles. So we ducked around to do another cache and came back deciding to have lunch at this cache. Riblit set up the portable BBQ as it was too complex for me, I searched for the cache using specialist caching tool #732. I cooked the steak and eggs, Lunch of champion cachers Australia wide, well atleast in Bathurst, Riblit recovered and logged the cache for us both and returned the cache to its hiding place. Lunch was consumed and the journey continued...
5:15pm
Another break on the drive home to relieve the numb bum syndrome.
Easy find, signed the log and placed it back.
Yelled abuse at the people staying across the road and then went into town in search of dinner.

The first attempt at this was thwarted by mummy and kids having a picnic right at GZ. Inconsiderate people. The second time was much better. Walked to the place in question and the cache was ours. Bit wary about digging around for this one. Don't know what little creepy crawlies live near the cache container but hey, we are only a few k's away from a hospital.
What a drama. Found it and looked down to see a muggle staring at me! 3 meters away at best!!..
luckily he was only about 3 so I was able to forcefully demand that he never talk to anyone about what he saw... anyway, after lisa pulled him off me and I promised to never threaten someone who was a better fighter than me ever again ... we logged the cache and sat down for lunch right under it ...looking as muggly as ever incase some cachers showed up!...(hehehe)
Isabell (who is 2 next week) climed to the top ot the slipperydip...and just deliberatly hocked herself over the ledge...not down the slide... that girl seriously has no fear (its at least 2 and a bit meters high)... she landed on her side and now has a geo-egg on her forhead... 5 minutes later she was trying to jump off again! so we left before we had to log her demise!
great spot for lunch...I could see half my family accross the road!

Had to wait for some people to move off before we could recover the cache. Then it was done in a flash.
Goodness me, another virgin. A fairly easy find. Mr Wally is on a trip out that way and decided that it would be an opportunity to do a cache.
