I circled GZ looking at those bolts going up, I thought oh well if it is up there it can stay there, after several circles I said to dak I can not find it, he walked around and said it used to be there when I found it. Looks like this one may be gone. Thanks anyway MiniZyth2

[I see four distractions] - two logs (presumably not in them as that wouldn't be challenging for a hobbit), the hole in the tree (full of cobwebs and broken glass, not a nice place for a cache) and climbing up the tree.
[I was brave/foolish enough to climb up and for everyone else - I couldn't find it up there! That would be a far higher terrain rating I think.]
[I hope to return with torch later.]

I lucked out and found this on my first circuit around the area. A very evil and challenging hide that could have ended up taking me a LOT longer to find.
Thanks for the cache Mini-Zyth2!

I have only a few words for this one..... "YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING" thats not a cache Thanks MiniZ2 nice hide took me many days and spooky nights (night caching in this park is very spooky... must be the orange glow) of staring at this poor tree to find this one!

Well, we looked for this one, gave up, then came back again and finally found it, very well hidden!! Now that's what I call a micro!!
Damn you SA cachers
Why do you have to make them so hard to find
Maybe you could rename this cache Quadruple distraction or some other large number. I circled the area far more than twice to nab this pesky little cache
Great spot to spend a lazy half hour though. Even in the rain

G'day to Zytheran and MiniZyth2,
Our 1st Zytheran cache was found at 8:40pm as the 1st of 3 on a warm evenings walk around St Morris with Bazzars. The old team was back together again as we were both on a quick Easter visit to Adelaide, so rather than just sit and chat, we decided to chat whilst we walked and cached. We had both found our first caches together way on back but whist Bazzars is still only the casual cacher on less than a hundred finds (and most of those country caches), we may have kicked on just a little more and seen just a little more. He was hard to convince what we were actually looking for until I made the find after around 12 minutes. Now he is just a little more cache wise too. Thanks for the cache.
Kind Regards,
D B-A

About time I had another shot at this......got Nano-cache earlier today, so this had to be next. I have had a few spells of hunting this down........no luck. Today was the day, looked at a few previous logs and set out on the mission 7pm. YEEHAAA
I kept my focus,(lucky I was wearing my glasses), so I was not distracted from the job. Found quickly on a day out with ds-fifty. But a nice hide none the less.
My confidence sank as I approached GZ. My past performance in that sort of location combined with the zytheran/minizyth factor spelled trouble.
But for once luck was with me and I spied it very quickly. Hooray!

Not too many problems finding this one. At night probably even helped! Has Zytheran been talking to ADAcache? .
Thanks for the (tiny) cache.

Found with a hint from the frog. Was thinking about putting a travel but in here, but the log book took up most of the room.
Second visit to this one but we were not distracted at all today. Found quickly this time although Teen Kettle still wanted to climb again.
Very tricky - great hide.

So much easier when you know what you're looking for! Came here on Monday, but internet was down, so all I had was a name and coords on a map from OziExplorer. I found 3 others easy enough that way, but they were regular sized. This one isn't!
Much easier second time around. TFTC

after 5 goes and this one and lots of clues i am happy to find it that would have to be the best one i have done this is number 60 yay thanks 4 the most chanelling one i have seen
Finally got this curse off my back, about the 3rd visit. I'm sure all those mobile phone covers weren't in that distraction last time I came, though it was a while ago. But I finished a job early around the corner so thought it was time for another look. About 15 minutes of searching later I finally had it in hand. TNLNSL, thanks MiniZyth2 for the devious challenge. I am assuming you take after the old man
1st DNF for the day, have been here numerous times before today and have searched and searched extensively. This time was going to be different, I had been given some very reliable information by a very reliable source the other evening . Came expecting a easy find, all the information fitted together, found a great small hidey hole near the area described to myself by my source, but no cache (Plenty of mobile phone covers [?]). Maybe the "Z" man may need to check on its locale .
10:45pm..and guess what...
IT'S STILL THERE!
MWAAAA,HA,HA,HAAAAAA![8]

[Went to this location and I too found a lot of mobile phone faces, this is definitely not the cache and could not seem to locate. However I managed to drop off a present for the] Hobbit, Ironically the one ring. [See if you can find it.]
[A clue would be handy]
[A clue would be handy]
By reading the logs, I knew it was going to be a tough one. Seems I was correct! I'm working on the title is the best clue?
Found by JackHenry 17/7/06
Well, I'd been here before in March. Today, Kerry & I spent a long time on the right object looking, looking, looking. No joy, although if anyone wants a mobile phone face, the big hole is full of them. Eventually rang the recently flooded J & J. J (I'm not saying which one) placed us in the correct quadrant and shortly thereafter the cache was ours. Having left the pen in the car, we took the container over there to fill in the log. However, we dropped it and spent nearly an hour trying to find it again. TNLN Doh! Signed the tiny little log with a very big pen.
Anyone wishing to do this one, should perhaps warm up on GCD885 Nano-cache

Visited here for the first time last week - did not get distracted, but couldn't come up with the goods. Returned today after re-reading the logs, armed with a torch (next to useless in daylight) and a magnet (just on a hunch), but didn't need either. This time spotted something out of the ordinary, cryptic as it was. Nice one MiniZyth2!
Returned to this nemesis today with slightly ulterior motives. Spent ages again searching for this cache, and had all but admitted defeat yet again. Although it was mid afternoon, we put the torch to good use searching every last nook and cranny within eyeshot. Still no luck. As I was looking at a particular spot that had caught my eye more than once, I suddenly saw the signs of a hide. A little manipulation, and this pesky distraction can be crossed off our list. Thanks MiniZyth2.
;( no luck with this one spend about 30 mins looking 4 it couldnot work out the hobbit we will try again sooon
Was keen to get this one completed after my last DNF.
Approached with a new angle of thinking today, and after a good search, came up with the goods.
Now to move on to nano-cache

Can I claim a find a second time? When with Setsujoku I couldn't find this for about 10mins. Even after I had previously found it!
This picocache is certainly the smallest I have found to date.

Finally.
I stood looking at GZ, in the rain for 15 min. I looked up and down with no result. I called my husband for assistance again and he had the cache lacated within seconds. I was prepared this time and took along both tongs and tweezers, one of which assisted in retrieval.
I logged and left smiling.

I actually had forgotten what this one was called so of course I spent a while with distraction 1 and then called for my husband to attack distraction 2 (forgot my camera)
No find I will return but I have never laughed that much in ages I'm sure the muggles at the birthday party thought I was re-enacting a scene from Rainman!!!!!!!
Thanks are on hold minizyth

Had a really good search for the cache, but came up empty handed. Pity cause i had the whole park to myself. after 20 mins, let this one go.
Will return, hopefully by then someone will have confirmed that its still there.

No problem muggles loitering to prevent us from a good look for the cache. Still didn't help us find the thing though. Someone was watching us from their carport across the street, psyching us out, so decided to move on before they called the cops or something.
This could have been either our second find today, or our fifth DNF. But due to a persistent muggle, we never went any closer than about 30m from GZ. Tried coming back about 1.5 hours later but he was still just sitting there by himself. Next time.
New logbook put in cache. Based on old logbook and just noticed half of old one was missing so this will need a replacement pretty soon too.
Wandered around, couldn't find it. Went back to the car to check on the co ords and went back again for a second look. Couldn't believe it when I actually found it. Never seen anything like it.
However the log is full and needs to be replaced.

Found at 12:30, on the way back from Gunny's tennis. Had the dog with us, usually good for an alibi for this sort of cache, but a woman decided she wanted her dog to play with ours, so hung around for ages. I think she eventually walked of in disgust when it was obvious we were more interested in a tree than her .
In the end, Gunny found it. I might have to rename Nanocache now - a bulky cache compared to this one. Well done MZ2.

Walked around and around and around for about twenty minutes, considered going for the distraction (but not a chance of me doing this, i didn't want to end up in hospital [B)] or [XX(]) eventually gave up when inclement weather came through
Will return when next dropping the kids to school!

It's still there but now the camo has been touched up to get it back to it's original difficulty.

Hot on the heels of our first two caches done today, due to the weather being wonderful, we attended to this one. Heaps of muggles playing at the playground, but went straight to the GZ and then simply couldnt find the cache. Long grass around the logs made it difficult to look under them (if that mattered??) and although I sifted through some of the stuff that was in the hole in the tree, Shrek and Princess Fiona did not find this cache. Wasnt keen on sticking my arm in this hole with the mess that is in it. Rather frustrating and put a dampener on the day.
Last of five finds on my second night in Adelaide. This was one time when caching at night was an advantage. My torch reflected off it, and I had it in hand at 2020. The log is looking a bit ragged from all the extractions and replacements, but I managed to sign it anyway. Thanks to MiniZyth2 for the cache. It's the smallest one I've seen.
My second shot at this one. The first attempt had me sucked in by the double distractions . This time (and after a few other clues from previous logs) I found it in no time. Container needs a re-paint, as it was a glint that drew me to it. Nice one MiniZyth2
I think I spent so much time on Nano this one proved no difficulty. From GZ to find was less than 2 minutes.
Getting the cache in and out was the challenge.
Getting the cache in and out was the challenge.
The inclement weather allowed me to walk around in circles for 20mins and search at my leasure. I found suitable tools for retrieval on the ground around me and in fact it took longer to get the log out than the cache itself. Nice work Minizyth2.
This one proved to be a real challenge. We had searched the night before, but no luck so went back read the clues and 30 minutes later found it. Great find though fourth find for the night. Weren't able to get the log out though.
Our first find on our caching day celebrating Bruce's birthday. The only muggles around were busy amongst themselves.
Took a short while to find the clever hide. GeoDisco's ignition key proved to be a handy tool.
Thanks zytheran.

Did not want our first cache for the day of Bruce's Birthday to be a no find but it did look that way for a while. Then the Birthday Boy remembered a similar cache and look more closely. Very well hidden, thanks guys.
No luck on this today, despite ignoring the obvious Distractions! Then after about 10 minutes of looking the rain set in quickly followed by the hail, so I gave up for today. Will be back though. Cheers.
Found by Mary & David at 1455. Close to giving up, then success. We thought it should be called Quadruple Distraction though. An extra-sweet victory in a pretty little park with magnificent trees. Our thanks to MiniZyth2.
Used the clues and looked everywhere... sad to miss it cause had a couple of friends with me... man these little ones are tough... I gotta get the hang of it!
Third visit to this old boy. first I walked around and just scratched my head. Next time I found it but had no means of getting it. Third time I returned with suitable tooling (which I forgot to bring home with me).
Log page side one is now full. I felt as though something was watching me all the time.

Well I've been sprung. After a few laps of the tree, part of Klem's mob wandered over and introduced themselves. They figured that anyone that interested in THAT tree was either a cacher or very strange!!!
Nice to meet them at last though, and the extra sets of eyes certainly helped. Thanks Klem.
Cheers MiniZyth2 for a very sneeky hide!

Looked long and hard and then decided to have lunch and lo and behold another person seemed interested in OUR tree. Had to be a fellow cacher. Went and introduced ourselves and found we had stumbled across four-fun. Was great to meet him. We then joined forces and finally by more luck than judgement it was discovered. A very, very sneaky hide. Well done MiniZyth 2. Guess you will have to replace the "log book" quite often.
It took us almost as long to get the cache out of it's hiding spot than it did to find it. We were considering going back to the house to get supplies, but with a bit of prodding the cache yielded it's contents. I can't believe how small it is! I've got photos of the cache, but the one I missed out on was when Bakhtosh decided to try and climb to the top of the tree (he got half way).

I had a quick look for this, but couldn't get serious due to some junior muggles who just wanted to sit on the nearby fence and watch me walk around the tree. So never had any sort of serious attempt. Gave up after 15 minutes of trying to look innocent. Another time.
Still there today. Not sure if there actually is room for a log scroll.
If the other is a nanocache then this must be a femtocache.
This is going to be a nemesis for a lot of teams. Don't give up to soon. We went around the tree five or six times before locating it.

I came, I looked, I even nearly broke my leg checking out the double distractions, but I left scratching my head [?] - Oh! And it started raining too, so I leapt on that as a good reason to give up and come back another day
You know a cache is tricky when you actually watch another team find it (from a distance) - and two minutes later you STILL can't find it!
Found relatively quickly on our second visit though. Nice hide! Thanks Minizyth.

I know its there somewhere but after about 15 minutes looking around, on, under & in I didn't spot it! Then a heap of muggles appeared & I thought it wise to leave and return after I've thought about it a bit more. Hmmm.... Cheers.
Search for ages, climbed all over, couldn't find a thing.
Noticed couple of other people couldn't find it on this day. Could the cache have disappeared??

Sadly lacking in sufficient height to meet the challenge. We need to return with the rest of the team.
Someone was watching you, Skippy & Lambchops! Drove up to the park and noticed muggles around GZ... wait, those people look awfully like they're looking for a cache....
We were tempted to head up and introduce ourselves but we figured even more people poking around there might increase the muggle attention. Waited until you guys left, and then..... searched high and low. No find. Apparently we weren't watching well enough!
Another day....
