#6620.We decided to take the kids out for a ride again today. It started a bit chilly, but as soon as you find yourself amongst the trees, the weather was quite bearable. After doing the easy loop, we headed off for the two caches on some of the more difficult trails. Getting to this cache on the MTB was quite a test for our eldest, but she enjoyed the challenge. Once arriving at gz, finding the cache was pretty easy. TFTC!
Cache is good condition even without a find for a while. SL at 7:30am.
With so many urban/city caches the last few day was good to be back for a walk in the bush…even a small one!

Cache found without any issues. All looks to be in good order. Thanks for the hide!
Don’t know about the galahs, but it was Wallabies central station this morning. TFTC
Found this one straight away after arriving at GZ. A fun day of adventure on Pomi!
Wagga Wagga was the overnight station in my way to Canberra. A good chance for some geocaches. Nice City and nice caches. TFTC and greetz from germany.

###**CACHE OWNER PLEASE NOTE**###

This cache would seem to have had some welcomed action on behalf of the CO by a Good Samaritan - 'The_Tritonz ', and it lives for another day.
However, the maintenance responsibility rests with the CO, and even though the issue has been addressed, the onus is on the CO to check that all is as it should be. If the CO does not maintain the listing it can be de-listed (Archived).
I would strongly recommend that the CO have a refresh of the Maintenance Guidelines here: [**Cache owner responsibilities**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) as well as the Help Centre article here: [**Maintenance expectations**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=57)
You need to Enable the cache - see here: [**Temporarily Disable and Enable**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235) and then remove the "Needs Maintenance" attribute by logging a "Owner Maintenance" log - see this Help Centre article: "[**Removing the Needs Maintenance Icon.**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 )" .
Because of the Needs Maintenance' attribute it is still appearing on my listings - **I've removed it for you this time and enabled the cache.**
Your prompt attention to any log that indicates things could be amiss will be warmly welcomed by all seekers, and your future assistance in this aspect of geocaching will be greatly appreciated.

Very excited to be on the road heading to the Queensland Muster in Barcaldine caching all the way. With plans to catch up with family and fellow cachers in NSW first we headed up through some uncharted areas seeking out great locations with a variety of different hides.
After enjoying breakfast in the car park we headed into the park to grab the two trads. Reading the logs we were prepared with a painted 200 ml sistema to replace the brittle cache. So all is good now Bunjil.
Thanks Team Horizons for the old placement.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###
----------
I notice from one or more log entries that this cache would seem to be in need of some help - **there appears to be a need for owner intervention.**
Therefore, the cache is being temporarily disabling so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) I cannot see any log that indicates a recent visit by the CO to this cache.
If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) by **27th September,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Repair and/or Replace your cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you don't plan on fixing it up then please [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (by 27th September). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) the cache on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Problem #1 - Log book at full capacity
Problem #2 - The container was damaged (as shown in the picture on my found log)

There is a CITO event in Wagga, I’ll go take a look and find some more caches along the way! To all CO’s of the caches I found today, thank you for the fun and enjoyment I had today.
While I was near trying to reach GZ of a mystery cache that was in the area I decide to give this one a go. A quick find was made. When I found it the log book was nearing full capacity and the container was very damaged (as shown in the picture). I didn't have anything suitable with me to replace it.

Found after work conference when a walk/stroll/explore in the bush was needed to get the cobwebs out of my head. A compass bearing from the carpark had me in the approximate area but just far had I walked up this hill and through those trees? The GPSr slowly corrected my error and the cache was soon in hand though the hide was not apparent. Just how many of those pines had rocks on the uphill side of them? The cache was signed, the cache rehidden and then off on a compass bearing to Stonehenge.
Thanks Team Horizons for the excuse (not that I needed one) to explore this bushland. A rewarding cache to find and a bit surprising that it has only been found once in the last year.

Found cache after a muddy walk. Didn't sign log as a scorpion was keeping guard on the lid. Be wary.
Nice walk even if the ground was a bit wet following all the rain TFTC Team Horizons
[:(!] In Wagga for the week and this was one of them, parked the geocar as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

Well it was Mission: Wagga Wagga time again. The original plans were for Boot65, specimenX and myself to go and attack Wagga Wagga and crack some of those puzzles that we have been working hard on solving. Unfortunately some circumstances changed which resulted in specimenX being unable to attend this weekend. So an inpromptu phone call was made at the 11th hour through to FurfacesLL to fill that 3rd spot in the motel room. After some quick sweet talking, we had FurfacesLL lined up and ready to join. Oh the fun is about to begin......
It was an action packed weekend for sure. We had a large number of laughs and wore ourselves out to the brink of passing out. Our adventures ranged from nice simple traditional 1/2 star finds right through to a full blown 5/5!! There was manic tree climbing (by monkeyman Boot65), Cliff climbing, canoeing, trying to crack open some very well constructed caches (often resulting in 3 "tools" getting frustrated and then all laughing at each other as it all comes apart so simply) and some long night adventures till early hours of the morning.
With WP1 of the 5/5 marked off on Friday and WP2 collected on Saturday, we headed out after about 4 hours sleep for another attack on Wagga Wagga. We headed off to the Cache Café for a smoothie to kick us off for the day. We met up with Roostaman for a meet and greet before beginning our tackles. Today we collected the remaining WPs for the 5/5 and made it to GZ. Wow what an adventure!!!
Nice find, logging duties completed and it was time to move on to the next one.
Thanks for the cache Team Horizons

In Wagga on an impromptu caching trip with Boot65 and Rapidlywild.
Being in the area again on another mission this one was close by so we decided to pick it up as well. A quick find here and the signing duties were performed. A very large Goanna seems to live close by here that Boot65 happened to scare up a tree. Amazing creatures.

Nice one, one of the real early ones. Half an hour to spare, so a little walk up the hill. Tftc
Found the Justz_1 on Holy Saturday. TFTC. It was uncovered making it an easy find. Covered it back over using easy to access materials.
Nice walk. The cache container was broken and wet so replaced container and removed wet items. The container is only a SMALL now though.
#162 is recorded and this was just a bonus during this caching recon mission. This area has so many nice spots to hide a cache I was surprised that not more of them are hidden here.
The cache container is a little worse for ware however the log and contents are still dry and intact. The track to this cache was interesting from Aieral View but non the less the reward of finding this along with the other two traditional caches in the area whilst looking at the terrain I was to expect at night was a real bonus.
Thanks Team Horizons for the little hide and a great spot.

Ms Bushies2 stayed at our caravan in the morning to do some washing...I went out myself to do some caching...had a stroll uphill and found it easy. Thanks Team Horizons
GPS was playing games with our heads but when we got it to behave we were spot on, didnt see any X though. TFTC
Last cache in the walk around the reserve. Not being local got a bit lost on the tracks, ended up cutting through the scrub between tracks and just relying on the GPS for direction. Lots on Mountain Bikes using the trails today. An easy find. As noted log book is full. Thanks.
Found it even though thhe GPS was playing up. There are cracks on the container and the log book ziplok bag is ripped. The log book is also full and needs to be replaced. TFTC.
A quick find on our afternoon out & about in the "Car Free Pommy Park" collecting most of the caches.
Another nice spot in this reserve! Many thanks Team Horizons. TNLN SL

Quickly found the closer I got to gz, but I had to duck and weave through half a dozen webs! Tftc
#1140 @ 5.00pm. Our last cache for the arvo as we were running out of time - its a school night & we were determined not to be late home (Ha! That theory didn't quite pan out for us....). After a bit of zigzagging between tracks we managed upon GZ thanks to pretty good co-ords. TNLNSL TFTC. A quick walk back to the car and we were confronted with a nasty surprise.
BEWARE: We parked at the entrance to this park near the Golf Course and the NinjaGolf was assaulted (as well as another) whilst we were walking this area. Future cachers may prefer to park in the Golf Car Park for safety otherwise locals may be able to provide safer parking co-ords. It seems that this is not the 1st time incidents such as this have occurred here. We had a breezy trip back to Albury praying that it wouldn't rain (& it did!) & our load was lightened substantially .....BUGGAR.

Found on our first true night cache run with Oakeydoakey. Nice hide in great condition.
The newbies anounced with great confidence where they thought the hide would be and went off to did around while I just went for a little stack of rocks and low and behold there it was.

TFTC Had a great night heaps of laughs and fun on a bike went through feilds of daisies waist high a good night of caching enjoyed by all.
came up tonight will come up another night when we can walk up, as pommy is now only a walking area and have cemented in huge gates to stop you from driving in. IT IS NOW A WALKING TRACK DO NOT EXPECT TO DRIVE IN ANY MORE
Mr Ozjeeper felt like a bit of a galah when he took the wrong way back to the car after finding the cache and had to use trackback on the GPSr to find his way. A quick find in a deserted area on a beautiful sunny day.
Found as part of the Wagga Mega event activities but logged much later, sorry. Found on a night expedition in company with tk2 Gum-Ako and Astro. Thanks for the cache.
Visiting for Oz Mega Wagga Wagga from Brisbane and hunting with my regular caching buddy Gunnie69. Thanks for sharing your great city, terrific caches and fabulous hospitality with us. Great to have the opportunity to run in to so many fellow cachers at so many GZs in and around Wagga Wagga!
The ATHV (All Terrain Hire Vehicle) did a great job getting us to this cache. Walked the last little ways and my GPS was spot on when I arrived at GZ.....Gunnie was a bit further "over"
Thanks for the cache. Cheers, svn07

This was a bit of a trek from where we parked. Poor Gum-Ako came a gutza here but lucky there was a big branch so she didn't quite hit the ground. All good then we cached the cache. Clear skies.
strolled down to this one and found it within a minute or so. This was a really nice area. Even the spiders agree as I walk through their webs and scream and wave my arms about like a galah!! Nice cache in a nice spot. Thank you.

Could not find the X in the dark but you named it correctly as Gum-Ako fell over a small tree near the GZ and we all now know who the galah was this evening
This was cache # 6 of 28 for the day in the company of acts2youthgroup on day Four of our Oz Mega event.
I wandered over to this cache while Team Rubik and acts2youthgroup were chatting about some caches.
This was a nice easy find.

Amazing where the all terrain hire vehicle will go when you want it to... A couple of ruts and slight detours but we made it to within 100m or so of the cache... [^] From there, Svn07 and I headed off on foot and secured the find nice and easy. Wan't sure about whether the rest of the track was accessible so we turned around and headed out of the area...

Found during the kiwi raid of the Wagga Caches. There are places you really shouldn't take a hired campervan but it was getting too late in the day for a walk to all the caches in the area so off we set. Quick find for this one T4TC.

Find number 3 of the 28th day of our trip to Tasmania and the Mega Event. Found at 0655hrs, find number 369 for the trip so far. The day of the Mega Event opening, and I was still a few short of making it a milestone cache, so we were out early to get the numbers.

New find number 11, and 13th overall find for me for the day on the way to Wagga Wagga for our caching run. With my good mate Quasar3671 and two of my kids James and Jasmine. Short hike to this one, as we could not find a track that ran nearby. After a bit of a walk, Quasar3671 located the cache a bit before me. SLTNLN. Of course, being very careful not to disturb any snakes.... or run across any.
Find number 14 today during a cache day trip from Tocumwal to Wagga Wagga with Blacklegend and two of his kids. The day was nice, warm and sunny and we had the car well packed with supplies and all the electronic equipment we thought we might need to help us with the days caching. Having done Routers Mingle at the park entrance we then decided to do some caches in the park. Drove up the track to a point then headed on foot to GZ. Found the cache no probs. Did dome swaps and signed log. TFTC.
Could not find the two tracks that went close to this one ny thing to save the legs! So walk it had to be but it wasnt realy that far.

This was one of many caches we hoped to attend this weekend on a caching trip to Wagga before the Oz Mega Event GC1YJ5R in April next year.
If it were not for caching we would not have had a reason to visit your beautiful town. We are looking forward to returning next year to nab fewer caches allowing us time too look around and enjoy the area more.
Hope to see you all there
