I did a site check today. The cache has been Muggled again! I have closed this site for good (Archived) as it is now part of a war time heritage trail and as such, it gets a lot more foot traffic.

Can't believe we had 2 different kinds of GPS (with doo2bug)and couldn't find it... I'm afraid it's not there anymore... Could youn check?
I have replaced the Pinewood Cache. It is in a new position on the site. The box is slightly smaller than the original. Please check you have new co-ords as shown at the top of the listing.

Can someone please give TB Geosmufin a lift out of this cache. He has been here for a while.
Thanks in advance

Repositioned the cache today due to the lack of grass cover at the original site. Updated the position clue as well. (See note at the start of the cache description.)
We searched 30 mins and found at last.We have no idea we came before WWIIHK moved its position or later.
Honestly it's not a good idea to hide it there since the visbility is too high.
Took: the unknown country bank note
Placed: Self DIY Grid Reference Finder

Had time today for a tour to see the Pinewood cache. Had to wait for 5 minutes or so while a picknicker packed up and left. The cache was totally visible, so after I took the wooden coin and left a magnet and a keychain, I protected it from a casual viewer's gaze. Thanks for the history lesson too!
Cheers.
Cheers.
Not difficult. But you need to be mindful on cachemuggles. There are some hikers around. I waited until the muggles moved away.

The cache was on my way back from 'Tram Peak'. Another very interesting location. Thanks to WWIIHK

Stopped in on my way down from the peak tram cache.
The walk way certainly a lot easier in this direction!
TN Left a Cathay neck cord, but grabbed the two TB's to take them on to Oz.
Cheers.
Oh, & this was my 700th cache so I'm pretty happy about the fact that it was an interesting one as well.
