Visited this one today, it's been buried by the council.
You could still get it, IF you took a spade TwistedWink

I have reports that this one may have been covered over with dirt, I'll have to do a maintenance run on it, and we all know how promptly I do those Smile

Some clever maintenance people (maybe there was a Cleanup Australia Day thingo out there recently) appear to have removed the container and filled in the hole! Surprised

We searched hight and low, and after ringing the owner, he confirmed it was missing. That made 2 out of 2 at Port Sorehole today! Sad

It had been a miserable day for caching, and a miserable day's caching. This log means that I have DNFed one quarter of the caches I visited today. Sad My GZ was a few metres out into the water, but I ignored that and concentrated on the two obvious spots around GZ. No cache could I find. I found a likely depression at the base of one tree, but that was all. Two DNFs to finish the day's caching. I packed up the traps at 1750 and went back to my hotel for a warm shower and a hot meal. Sad

A very nice cache but there was a huge empty icecream container on the beach (right on GZ!) and we thought that the cache had been muggledSurprised[xx(] (in spite of the goose who was guarding it. So we were going to give up but then we looked one more time and we found itSmile[^].left coin, took mondo thank you that guy

Nice easy find, beautiful spot, although quite cold and windy today. Have spent some time fishing close to here and also water skiing up river.
Took big black hairy spider, left candle and mini highlighter pen.

Thanks

I have spent many an evening watching the sun go down off the jetty mearby. Used to live about 2ks away from here.

When the weather is nice, this is probably my favorite spot in tassie.

Today, however, the weather was foul and I had to describe the beauty to Horus. I'll drag him back in the summertime, it really is a top spot.

Found the cache without drama

Can't remeber what I swapped

Thanks Thatguy!

On our way home CraigRat dragged me out here because he said it is one of the best places in Tassie! I'll have to take his word for it I'm afraid, it was dark and it was wet, very wet - will return with Bastvet in the future, when I hope the point will shine like Craigrat's description Smile

Took SES badge (didn't have one in my collection - left carabineer and Mondo.

Thanks thatguy007
