I think I found the hiding place for this one but there was no cache, must have been muggled?, brilliant hiding spot, thanks heaps.
Cache is gone. Found what I am sure was the hiding place (owner can email me for more detail if they wish) but container is gone.
Didn't take long to find the cache. An unusual/interesting hide.
The last entry in the log was a bit rude and suggests that the cache has been found by some muggles. Luckily they put the cache back in it's hiding spot.

This was our first find ever. Nice little park. Found in the dark on a cold night. Easy find along with particuary large pile of dog doo which attached nicely to shoe.
Had no swaps, Utah geocoin was still in there, left a note

Very nice park, I'm sure the local kids spend a lot of the summer there. Easy find, took Tumbleweed Geocoin and left a Utah Geocoin. Daughter enjoyed her play in the park.

Great hiding place! It was nearly dark and I wasn't getting very good reception, so it was the last brink I touched!

This is a great hide in a park I never would have discovered on my own. Thanks for the fun !
An attempt called off because of too many muggles. Nice park, but we would have been way too suspicious. We are Geo-travellers, vacationing from Halifax, Nova Scotia (Canada) and we brought a few travel bugs with us to New Zealand to drop off. Sorry we couldn't get to your cache, but with Parents and tots in vicinity we would have been way to "weird" snooping around suspiciously, so we called it off. We went down the road and placed our TB in "Held in Trust", if you'd like to pick it up and bring it to this cache be our guests. It's journeyed a long way to this lovely country of yours! All the best, your Canadian friends the O'Bents.
It was dark and rainy and I needed the head lamp.
It ended up beeing my last cache in NZ. A really cool hideout

I was actually glad to have it raining here as it meant a muggle free vist to this site. GPSr initially had me to far east where I found little of interest. 10 minutes later the Garmin changed its mind and I soon had a cunningly concealed container revealed.

Very tricky indeed-there was a big BBQ right next door.
Luckily there was a tree conveniently placed in the front of us while we were looking.
Nice spot for sure-I didnt know existed.

Only a couple of kids playing in the swings, so not that difficult to find. Quite impressed with the ingenuity of this cache, so dropped in the Kiwi Ingenuity TB (looking for ingenious things) and took Top Cat's Butterflys TB. Thanks.
Surprised at the number of times I had to come back to try again due to muggles in this secluded reserve.

Found this on a warm windy afternoon. I have lived only a few hundred metres from this park for quite a few years, and did not know it existed! Took my neice along (her first time) and she found this to her delight. Quite a few muggles around, but it didn't deter her at all!.

Nice spot. Unfortunately, we left our day pack (with tradeable trinkets) on the ground while kiwimum took one child geocaching and kiwidad took the other child for a meander around the grounds. An opportunistic thief worked the seam between us and stole our pack. We took a whistle from the cache, but had nothing to leave!
We stared at the cache location for a bit thinking it must be here somewhere. A few kids around so didn't want to look too obvious. Waited for the right time then went in for the find. TNLN
Great hidding place, Very impressed with the hidding place. Lots of Mums with Kids walking around. Had to wait for right moment to find Cache.

Great cache location. took awhile to rid park of jnr mugglers Last cache of day two TFTC
Our first cache find, in a very nice hidey hole. A beautiful warm and golden-lit Nor' West Sunday afternoon gave a break from Winter dreariness and took me back to some significant moments spent around this place. Also meant lots of other people were around, so we had to pick our moment carefully.
Plenty of other visitors mean the log book is almost full, with only a couple of more pages left.

Wow! What a house, and many more lovely old but well maintained ones about. Thanks for this cache, our final one for our weekend in this city. Removed the golf ball, so that lid would close. Great hidey hole. This cache came highly recommended by others at the event yesterday, so was a must-do on our list. Thanks
Found mid afternoon on a Saturday. Lots of muggles about skate boarding and climbing on the roof by the pool. Had to bid my time. Worth the wait. Good one. Took a bee and left an apple.
Nice location and a very cool idea how to hide a cache. Thanks for the cache.

On our way to our motel the last one of an intensive caching day in Christchurch. A nice inviting pool but too late and too cold for us. However, we met the first sandflies or simlar biting biests.

On vacation from Finland. I came here with my wife. The park was occupied by very short geomuggles, but the cache was in the blind spot, so it was quite easy to log it. Great cache idea! TNLN.

Lovely piece of work! A not too hard cache in a friendly quiet garden setting. Took & left nothing. 4th in NZ.
Spent the day Geocaching with Daughter Nikadoodle as she has to head back to Aussie on Boxing Day... GPS took us almost straight there... Couple of Muggles but they were occupied watching lots of Muglets. Disappointed that we didn't get barked at.. Very neat hide.

A great hiding place. It took a while to find. The council worker was supicious at my lurkings and came over to investigate. She thought I might have been a noise control officer holding the unit this way and that. She was using one of those noisy blower machines. However she became enthusiastic and thought her partner might just get into geocaching when she saw the cache. TNLN. Hatas
Easy straight forward find - we like the work thats gone into the hiding place - Sean and Dyland
While the kids were playing on the playground we bumped into kiwisean. After finding the cache, we had to wait for ages until all the people left.

What a great hiding spot and hide! The nice doggy came over briefly and had a woof. I disappeared around the corner for a minute before returning and it had gone. Free access to the cache. No exchange made. Cheers Gav [573]
This was my second visit.
And it was worth going:
Excellent precise coordinates,
fantastic signal close to the cache,
even the dog came silently to scare me.
And of course: an original hiding with a hint that only makes sense when seeing the location! Great!
Thank you for this great cache!
To the next cachers: Dont come here when the weather is excellent, especially in the afternoons. There wil be too many muggles around...
Out: nothing

Wow! I don't think I have ever visited a cache that has been done so many times in one day. A pity the others didn't put times in - it's certainly interesting to see how close you got.
I think the dog has got scaring the cachers down to a fine art. He leaves you to get right up to the area, with your head down, before letting out a bloodcurdling/smalls-soiling bark. Most impressive.
The hide was most impressive too. Well done.

Had a second go today to find this cache.....my gps showed me on the other side of the park...so I made a few adjustments and went looking again and found it. Very good spot...rather clever. TNLN. Signed the log book there.
What a neat cache! Great hiding spot! We were just getting close to the cache, when the dog came bounding up, scaring the hell out of us! Then I remembered reading the cache logs a while back, which always seemed to mention the dog! Still don't quite get the significance of the cache name. Many thanks!
Very busy park - and the dog too!!

Our second cache for the day and ever! Great location and very well hidden - I like this game. There is however a loud barking dog near the cache who's owner may get annoyed at people looking for the cache.
A couple of teen muggy boys on the swings wouldnt leave so Mrs Buzz distracted them while Mr Buzz grabbed the cache.
This is the most elaborate cache hide we have ever seen, very clever. Might try that somewhere else one day.
Nice work Stoutwind.

Wow! What a cool cache. Well done on the hiding of this! We really enjoyed finding it and had a laugh when we finally exposed the cache itself. The park is a great find as well. We never knew it existed - "Mona Vale of the East" is a good description. Thanks for a great cache hunt and we really look forward to more
