Unfortunately, after searching for a while with my brother, we could not find the cache. Even after looking through past logs, and looking at the coordinates, the coordinates somehow led us to Japan. So we unfortunately had to let this one go.If anyone knows if I have stuffed up with the coordinates, please don't hesitate to message me.
Today we headed to Bridport with our house sitting hound Harper to walk at Adams Beach she had a lovely time except drank far too much sea water and made herself sick. I dont think she cared too much. After the walk we found this cache I almost slipped on the rocks, I could envisage a cracked hip so was glad to regain my footing. TFTC
Merging my accounts. Found this as Hoterini 3/11/12. Now tracking together with Ambers007 and merging the old finds.
Today we visited Bridport and were lucky, to be there at low tide. After the two ECs we also did the Multi Cache and found nothing at WP1 but the logs helped us to find the container, Wer we put some of our Holiday Woodcoins inside.Feel free to discover, collect, tradeEinen lieben Gru hinterlsst Die-GYLDe in dieser nun lachenden Schatzkiste DFDCVielen Dank fr's Herlocken, Legen und Pflegen! Many thanks for placing and leading me out here!Bedankt voor het plaatsen en om me naar hier te lokken!Muchas gracias por este cache que me ha trado hasta aqu!Moltes grcies per amagar i per mostrar-nos aquest indret!Merci pour cette cache et les amener aussi ce endroit!Graas para o cache, Grazie per questo Cache, Obrigado por isso Cache!, Takk for at Cache, Tack fr att Cache, Tak for denne Cache, Kiitos, ett Cache, Ai u t talpykl, Paldies par o Cache, Aith selle eest Cache, Dziki za Cache, Dky za ke, Hvala cache, Ksznjk, hogy a cache, nbellek iin teekkrler, cache, , , Dankon pro la kamemoro!
Today I needed to have my gas cylinder refilled so I headed into Bridport. Once my job had been done it was time to do a little caching, beach walking and rock hopping After reading previous logs I was able to find GZ and make the find.TFTC Michaels mobKeep smiling
Like others, I spent a bit of time searching for wp1 then checked recent logs and discovered wp2. We made our way to gz and took the hard way.... quick find once in the zone and then managed a much easier path out, thankfully.Great to pick up an old multi. Tftc
As others have pointed out, the first container is missing and GZ is at S40 59.206 E147 23.503.Took quite a tricky bushbash from the path, even with the easiest way through it was a bit difficult, but what a spot GZ is at. It ended up being so much easier to walk back along the coastline with a half track from behind and below GZ to the next bay. Then it was pretty easy to walk back to where the dirt road ends in a loop. Awesome adventure. Thanks. TFTC
As below we used the coords to find the 2nd cache. We'd been to mermaids pool yesterday and forgot to look for caches! Lovely spot. TFTC.
That was a slightly more adventurous walk than we had anticipated from the description! TFTC and previous log with missing WP1 instructions.
Like others we used another log for WP1 and then headed to WP2 which is simply stunning. It was flat calm today so time for a swim as well as grabbing the cache. Our first visit to Tassie and we are amazed by such beautiful beaches. TFTC
With very limited time here in my 1st visit to Bridport i really wanted this Golden-Oldie MultiCache most of all.
I did what other's have done for the co-ords to WP2, after being unsuccessful trying for WP1. With that done i was off to the final which was an easy find and sign in a stunning location in a lovely picturesque town i already love... and i've been here only 20 minutes
Signed the log, spoilt by the view at 11:49 on Wed 28 Dec 2022.
A Fave Point for this one's age and sweet location in this lovey town

(All is fine and dry within the cache)
[LOL i was here about 30 minutes and...... i found a ripper old Multi / It rained so hard for all of 5 minutes i had to pull over / there was 50,000 people in the main street to packed out coffee shops and surf big enough to sink boats! "It was All Happening" in Bridport for that wee time i was there..... i LOVED it! I will no doubt be back soon for more and the Geocaches i didn't get time for]

This is an interesting area. Visited while adventuring in Tasmania. Like others, I used coordinates provided in a previous log. It’s a shame this one is currently broken. Thanks for bringing me here and thanks for the cache.

Today we found Mermaid's Lookout on our travels. We are on another visit from Melbourne just because…well, maybe it’s all those puzzles we solved during those many lockdowns! Having the opportunity to sign some actual logs is exciting! This was an exercise in rock hopping followed by how the heck do we get that out. Someone has popped a rock in the hidey hole with the cache and although we tried really hard to get it out it is well and truly wedged. Off with the lid while cache was in situ. Log book signed that way and we were on our way.
Thanks michaels mob for being part of our geocaching fun.

There was some confusion at WP1 until I read the logs and realised that the coordinates to WP2 were provided, and no longer available to be found.
After a bit of a scramble, found GZ and the coordinates were good enough that I had my hands on the cache container straight away. Left a pen to aid those that might lose theirs on the way across.

We had a really good look around for WP1 and couldn't find a thing.
Thanks to Chickp753 for adding co-ords for WP2 in their log, without them we would have been dnf-ing this.
With co-ords in the GPS off we headed over to GZ and easily found the cache which is in good condition.
It's a beautiful spot for a walk.

We have searched for this on a number of occasions. After viewing previous logs, decided to have another look and sure enough cache was found.
After wasting time looking for the non-existant WP1, we read some past logs and saw that it was no longer there and used Chickp753's Coords below for WP2
After slipping on the rocks on the way to the cache(luckily catching ourselves) we soon found yhe cache at the edge of the vegetation

Upon finding the cache there were no swaps so we have left some beach themed items. There is also still no pen so you will need to bring one with you. TFTC!!

Found while visiting from Canberra. I used the info in the previous log to get the coords. TFTC
Coordinates for WP2 are including in this log.
We found this one late in the day on the 4th Feb. We started at WP1 and after a thorough search we found nothing so decided to read thru the logs for any clues. Turns out there is nothing to find here as it has gone missing and hasnt been replaced but the final cache is still good to find. someone else commented they found it using a past log that contained the location of WP2 so we are resharing their coordinates to save some scrolling 40 59.206 147 23.503 and be sure to take a pen. decent sized container for swaps but it has none atm and no pen which is very unhelpful when your pen falls out of your pocket somewhere on the way to GZ anyway once there it was an easy find without the hint. We looked the hint up afterward and didn't think it would of been helpful anyway. Given we had no pen we are photo logging and we took the geocoin that the previous finder left to move further around the coast hopefully as we head to eddystone Point with lots of stops and camping along the way.

Beautiful spot, especially liked the breaking wave rock. Cache was empty apart from log book. I have left a trackable coin ( Geosquid) Squids don't do well in the bush. Please relocate to an equally beautiful beach.
A beautiful spot and great views. It was very secluded compared to anywhere near to the caravan park this time of year! The cache didn't take long to find and all was in good condition. TFTC!

I started this one in February and am finishing on Xmas day. Had dog with me so couldn’t grab the final because of dog free beaches. A day out exploring Tasmania today with a friend for Xmas brought me here right at the end. It’s beautiful the view. Perfect end to Christmas 2021. Thank you
Thanks to the previous Tas community cachers who have maintained this cache and who have provided useful logs so that we have a reason to visit this great area.
RLD4963, the GeoGSP and I were in the area for a couple of days, and although it was grey and overcast we were still keen to find a few caches.
After making our way to GZ, the cache was found in the first place we looked. Will have to come back on a calm sunny day for a swim!

out and about to get smileys for the GC game "reach the Peak". and this was on the list. a cool and light rainy day that stayed all week and until Sunday in both the north and the south. TFTC TNLN log dry.
We are spending the weekend up in Bridport, it is our first visit to the area and we are certainly impressed by the surrounds and its beauty . The weather is perfect today, which is amazing considering how much is rained and rained yesterday. Our aim is to collect as many geocaches in the area as practical while still having time to thoroughly explore the area.
This was our first cache of the day and what a fantastic one it was. We followed EeePees instructions and coordinates which proved very handy. The walk out to gz was really special nice bush and stunning rocks . We did a fair bit of rock hopping but then realised the bush track was more direct. Once at the gz cache soon located, logged and replaced. TFTC

A beautiful spot but quite windy. We use another geocachers waypoints as could not find anything at W1.
Parked near WP1 as a great place to eat lunch - but, based on previous logs, made our way straight to WP2. A nice walk along a trail and then a bit of rock hopping. Saw the item mentioned as a clue in a previous post - great description- and the cache was soon in hand. Thank you
As per previous logs - couldn’t find WP1 but finally found WP2 thanks to coordinates in previous log.

Well, we've looked for this one on at least two other occasions, and never seem to find WP1 at home. On this trip to Bridport for a couple of days, we noticed some activity of one sort or another had taken place, and a recent logger who took it upon themselves to restore the hide at WP2 encouraged us to have another search. By going back through the various activity logs, it is possible to find the information you require, bypassing WP1 altogether. Many thanks to TeamThommo for going above and beyond by placing a new container, log book and bag for others to enjoy. Hope michaels mob are still active enought to attend to this multi sometime soon.
After a DNF on WP1 I Des used to read through the logs and arrived at the GZ from coords indicated logs below. We search and search and searched some more, no luck. I messaged a few previous finders who confirmed we were looking in the right spot.
We came back today and searched more thoroughly- some remnants of a cache turned up.
As this is an older cache it would be a shame to see it go, the CO doesn’t look active anymore, so we replaced the container and log and tucked it away.

Found it, thanks to the coordinates in Eepees log and the hint in the replacement hider log. Great spot. Thanks to everyone who helped us find this!
WP1 could not be found when I visited in January but by reading the activity logs I was able to get an idea of the location of GZ. Thank you for placing this cache which brought me to this peaceful location.
Down from Brisbane on hols with IolantheK.
Another one of many on our travels through Tassie [^]

T-Tech and I are down from Brisbane for a meandering holiday around Tasmania. We flew to Melbourne where we picked up the campervan and spent a day caching there, then took Spirit of Tasmania I to Devonport. Tick that one off the bucket list!
Today we are travelling from Low Head via George Town, Bridport, Scottsdale, Legerwood and Derby to Pyengana. We had morning tea at the local bakery, then gathered a couple of caches. membsec had let us know that WP1 was missing, and charged us with making sure the final was still in place. We loved the walk from WP1 out to GZ, and it's a pretty glorious spot. After a lot of wandering around we sent a photo to confirm GZ, and got the thumbs up, but it still took a lot of stretching and grappling in the dirt to grab the container. Glad to make it a smiley, and everything is in good nick. TFTC, michaels mob.

Searched for WP1 could not find, found WP2 coordinates in a previous post but could not find cache. Disappointed, beautiful location
hi michaels mob, thanks for the cache, this is a great area and I've spent many summers here particularly in my youth.
**Many thanks to the community geocachers who 'fixed' this up earlier this year.**
Sadly though the new container at WP1 has never been found, except perhaps by muggles - it's disappeared.
I contacted, and sent a pic of WP1 to, one of those community geocachers who, despite being halfway up a cliff on the mainland (presumably looking for a geocache) was able to confirm I was in the correct spot, and provided detail of the container and how it was hidden.
A bit more of a search, but unfortunately, it's no longer there.
Final coordinates for GZ (WP2) were obtained from a previous finder (who may or may not have been the same aforementioned community geocacher) and so geoSonE and I headed off, the younger rock-hopping, while I mostly followed trails and beach where possible.
He arrived first and announced disappointingly that "it's been muggled".
Strewn about separately were the container, lid and some contents, but NO logbook. The container was half full of water and soggy contents, and the lid was broken.
My accomplice left me to go off and explore the rocky outcrops, hope he doesn't slip!
I sat down and read back again thru some logs, and came to realise that this mess was the original container, so I widened my search and eventually found the well hidden newer replacement one, thanks to a very handy hint and description in gooseandegg's Write Note log of 19jan19).
Once the item described in that hint is spotted, it's really obvious! Spot on. Item is best viewed from the rocks looking back into the bushes. Once that item is found, it's necessary to make a thorough search to find the cache.
My geoDaugher found this 3 years ago when down from Queensland, so I was pleased to grab a smilie here.
Couldn't have done it without a lot of help though.
So, for those who follow, I found the replacement cache at 40 59.206 147 23.503, just a couple of metres away from the original intended coordinates.
Oh, and I've removed the mess that was the original.

A massive day out with StainlessSteelRat and GooseandEgg but well worth it to apply a little TLC to some of our originals. It seemed a bit sad to lose some of the history of caching in our state so a rescue run was in order.
Of course, I left a trail of little Scouts behind in any container that they would fit in.
This is my 1000th GC cache, so I thought this was a great log to use it on. All the info is in GooseandEggs note, this is a beautiful part of the coast (aren't they all in Tassie) so well worth a visit.

I found this cache with my family nearly 4 years ago and enjoyed it. Today when we arrived it was obvious that some work had been done but it looks like the 'damage' zone is complete.
A new WP1 was created very close to the original and the hint and size is still appropriate. **New sistema at GZ but a perhaps really a 'small' one now. Hint: behind 'wave shaped' rock**
All ready to be found again.
Maintenance check # 8
WP1 and GZ cache replaced
A last minute plan was made to sort out a few issues in the north of the state. Stainless steel rat picked me up at 6.30am and we were soon northbound. After the usual coffee and toilet stops we had a good run to meet TazScout. With a real chance of losing some of our historical caches we decided action was needed so this was a day of TLC on a list of caches that severely needed some love and attention. It was a long but successful day with SSR dropping me of at 11.55pm.
Thanks and well done to my community caching buddies (TazScout and Stainless steel rat) who did the bulk of the work today. With my arm still in a cast I was just a third wheel but provided moral support

Well this was a BIG day and not in the number of caches found but in the time, distance and effort to do a bit of TLC on a shortlist of older caches, we wanted to do more but just ran out of time but we got a lot done today.
With this cache there was a problem with WP1 and the final, both have been replaced.
All is now in good order with this almost 14 year old cache.
Thanks to the CO for placing this cache in the first place all those years ago.
Second thanks to my fellow community cachers today (gooseandegg and Tazscout) for the company, putting up with my bad jokes, splitting the driving of 1000km and keeping me awake for 18 hours (naps exempted).

Hi
This cache appears to have some problems. It is the cache owner's responsibility to read the logs and check the cache to sort out any problems with it and give an indication of when it may be up and running again for people to find.
**The cache is being Disabled to give the Cache Owner an opportunity to investigate and fix the apparent issues.**
Once the cache is operational again, the CO should write an *Owner Maintenance* log advising that the promlems have been fixed, and to remove the *Needs maintenance* attribute (red cross) if that is showing on the cache page. The CO can then write an Enable log to return the cache to play.
If the cache cannot be fixed it should be archived.
**If there is no response to this log after 30 days the cache will be Archived.**
The [Geocache Maintenance guideline](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.

Sadly not today, did not find at 9:56 am
Last day in Tassie on this short four day trip. Heading from Bridport to Devonport via George Town and a few obscure off the beaten track locations to pick up some specific geocaches. Jumping the ferry back tonight and straight to work in the morning, yuck.
Could not find the clue at WP1.
**Thanks for placing this cache michaels mob**

After not being able to find WP1, we contacted membsec and they were very obliging and gave us the information we needed for the final. After parking up, I walked along a path jumping from rock to rock until I reached GZ and then searched for a while before I had the cache in hand. I think this definitely needs some maintenance. We leave today and had left this morning to do some of the caches here. Was hoping that WP1 would be fixed before we left but not such lucky! With the help from a previous finder we managed to find the cache in a fantastic area! Today was overcast with a breeze from the east but to our surprise there were swimmers in the area! They informed us that usually the area is free from the breeze, but not today!!! Brrrrr......Lovely place, hope WP1 gets fixed soon!

Checked on this cache today as we were playing in the area. Final cache is all good(checked log book, exactly 1 year since we were here last). Couldn’t find WP1, looks like they have cleared the area a bit, I’m guessing it’s been removed.
Very beautiful place and lovely views. Took awhile to locate the cache but got it after thinking cachey and where would I hide it. Great to see it’s the original log book, and reading the old logs. TFTC
WP1 was an easy find so once we got the coords off we went. For about half an hour we searched and searched and couldn't see any x so we gave up! As we started walking back something caught me eye. So I investigate and yup there she was the cache! Happy as I signed it and placed it back TFTC!

Apologies for the delay in posting our log. We've just had a great 16 day holiday in Tassie. Now back home on the mainland it's time to log our 108 finds of the trip.
Enjoyed the walk to reach this one.

An easy day along the beaches... Spent a lot of time between WP1 and GZ, as the area is stunningly beautiful. After I had found the cache and signed the logbook (and finally also found the "X"), I went to another rock nearby to enjoy the views over the water. But what a pity some people left their rubbish! [:(!] When I found a big box, I took it out between the rocks and filled it with rubbish lying around. Within less than 5 Minutes the box was full and the place looked pristine again. This multi turned out to be a little private CITO event and reminded me to always take a plastic bag on my caching trips...
Thanks a lot michaels mob for showing me this great place!

Wow what an adventure for three 12 year old girls (2 first time geocaching) and the adult not too crash hot in navigating with GPS but we did it!! We were actually walking away in despair and found it as I was saying how sad it is to miss out on the excitement of finding it. The X did not help us as there is an X on a rock 20m away but not right near the cache. Would be easier low tide. A few scrapes to legs but happy campers in the end. Thanks.

While on my trip around Tasmania looking for caches, this one was found.
An early morning start after staying at the Tomahawk caravan park, I was now into my last day and now I'm headed for Devonport and the boat ride back home.
As I was passing through town I thought that I would stop to give this multi ago.
I arrived at the first waypoint and started looking around but the gps was way off at first, eventually I found what was needed and then I headed off in search of the cache.
I was a nice walk and the tide was just right, I made it to GZ but the GPS was moving around a lot so I could never get a good fix as to where I should be.
I started looking for what was mentioned in the hint but that eluded me as well, eventually after going in circles, I spotted something and the cache was soon found.
Once I had signed the log and replaced the cache, I then noticed what was mentioned in the hint but it certainly doesn't stand out before you see it.
**Thanks to michaels mob for placing this cache.**
I tried to get wp1 last night but was caching blind without my torch. This morning had more luck. My gps had me all over the place, literally everywhere. Whilst signing the log book I noticed a eagle nearby.
This one had me looking but found it! beautiful views! Great resting spot and a great place to remember a loved one. Well played michaels mob! Had a great walk, and this is just one of the reasons I like this game. TFTC
Found wpt 1 no probs
Wpt 2 proved to be a little more difficult
Was about to give up but finally found it
Great cache

Having confirmed the location of WP2 yesterday, I returned to WP1 armed with the necessary materials to maintain the co-ordinates for WP2. I dried out the zip-lock bag (I could not locate a tiny one such as was in the cache) and the disintegrated co-ordinates came out with the moisture. I have replaced the paper with the co-ordinates, so that they are now readable and have added piece of plastic with the co-ordinates in felt-tip pen also. Not a very fine point on the felt-tip, so they are not as readable as I would have liked, but using a permanent, waterproof pen I hope these will last. Happy to help keep this one in play, as the cache at WP2 is a great one.
There was a group of young men, assumed to be muggles at GZ for WP1. After waiting on nearby stump for them to give me a clear go, one of them approached me to reveal that they "had the magic", had located WP1, but that co-ords were unreadable. I made the call to locate WP1 myself and go from there. Some co-ords were unreadable, but there was enough information in the cache description for me to reason out the rest. On to the cache proper GZ.... The GPSr had me few metre off, with lots of places to hide a full size cache. After settling into persistence mode (and a bit of crawling about in the prickly coastal scrub) the cache was swept and log signed. Regrettably, I had not exchanged caching names with my young friend, but if he wants to message me I will happily assist deciphering co-ords for WP2. Having confirmed my interpretation of co-ords for WP2 if I have the opportunity, I will replace the record in WP1 for those that follow. TFTC michaels mob and a silent salute in memory of Marie.
Logbook at first waypoint, containing the coordinates to the actual cache, very damp. Getting very hard to read coordinates.
Found with Geowife and Geokids. The logbook in the first waypoint is quite damp, and reading the coordinates for the second location was almost impossible. Luckily only the last few decimal points are needed, which are still just readable.
Great spot for a cache and a memory of friends past.

Great cache! Would have never found this local swimming hold otherwise. A must do if at Bridport
Thank you for taking us to this wonderful place, it is nice to have somewhere special to remember our loved ones.
This cache was respectably hunted, tagged and released by activehunters tftc.

Whilst in the area today i thought I'd have a go at the last cache that I had left find in Bridport. Parked near WP1 but had to wait some time for the two Tas Networks trucks to move on(they were bludging for a good hour) by the time they had left I had a good idea where the to look and went straight to the well hidden container. Punched in the coordinates and headed of to the GZ. I certainly took the long way getting there, bush bashing through a little used track to the rough area. The iPhone's GPS was very floaty so it took a while to dial into the location, in the end I ditched the phone and started looking for an obvious spot. Wasn't long before I had the cache in hand and log signed. Another great location to sit back and enjoy the views.

Took a little wander along the shore to find this one. The first cache was easy, love the camo?
The next one was a little more elusive but we found it after a bit of a search. The clue was discovered after the cache as it is getting a bit hard to see, but it's still visible.

Travelling around Australia and now in Tasmania!
After a couple of wet days it was nice to return to the sunny days we have become used to here in Tasmania.
A day trip up to Bridport, Weymouth and Bellingham saw some lovely beaches and interesting areas.

Good hide! Thankfully it's a rainy winters evening so there were no muggles about
Found WP1, easily and quickly the clue was brilliant. Got the coordinates to WP2, spent a lot of time and no luck. Did not find any help with the second clue at all. Unfotunately had to give up.
Wp1 was very busy on this sunny afternoon but we were able to extract the soggy but legible details to lead us to WP2. After finding another cache we found a track down that was very convenient. Gz was very busy with sub bathers and rock jumpers. The cache itself was well placed out of view from all of this action so we were able to log our find safely. TFTC
having a great weekend at bridport. Thank you for a sneaky puzzle. Didn't read it properly and was getting mixed up with people talking about rocks and the view when the co-ords were sending me into bushes in the car park. Anyway- read it more carefully and enjoyed the first cache - very sneaky! Got very hot and bothered clambering over rocks but my reluctant partner found the box and then wasn't so reluctant! A fun time.
We were camping at Bridport with our friends for 4 nights. Found wp1 quickly and moved on to GZ. Beautiful spot great views, loved the large rocks after searching for 5 minutes we found the hide. Thanks michaels mob.
