No response from owner. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 21 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
I think this cache may have gone walk about. I also think it may require reviewer intervention as the owner has not been active on the site since December.
Searched for a while without success and gave up when invaded by muggles. Given the recent DNFs and other logs it seems the difficulty level may be higher than a 1.
Hmm... still haven't got it! Must be not seeing the wood for the trees, even with the help of 2 minions! The foliage does bite!
There is no pencil sharpener in this cache. my metal detector didn't work. no pencil or pen either, but I found it in the end.
Had to dig around a bit. I should learn that hides in places like this take some perseverance.
After dinner popped down to try my luck on this cache. My sister had been unsuccessful when she had tried last year. Made a real meal of this by making it way harder that the difficulty 1 deserved. A number of words could describe this hunt - tenacity, pigheadedness, doggedness - I was NOT going to give up. Searched all over, up, down, infront and behind, getting a few scars in the process - courtesy of that biting vegetation, but in the end perseverance paid off. Its not that actually that hard! I can say that now. TFTC
The vegetation does bite back, despite being encouraged on a by some helpers the search proved futile today

Nice park and walkway that I didn't even know was there. Took a friend who was new to caching.
Finally got this one after visiting the GZ 3 times.... well hidden,
GPS was a little all over the place.TNLNSL TFTC.

The previous logs warned me of the plants and so I came with precautions - just as well as I am allergic to those buggers. Had a prodder and found quite quickly. TFTC
Stopped for a look on an afternoon bike ride with my son. Avoided the bite of the vegetation.

Must look further along this unknown pathway sometime.

I never knew this was here. Nice spot. The location was not obvious, but once I pretended I was watching Mporokosa I found it almost immediately. (Mporokosa was a superb tutor/mentor.) TFTC. TNLN.
We had a very good look here, all five of us, in spite of getting prickled by the plants. At night in the very cold conditions, we gavce up after about ten or fifteen minutes.
295. And now only 5 to go. We gave it a good going over but night time may have hindered us.
No go for us. It was about 9.00pm and very cold, but that's not an excuse, we just couldn't find it.
Thanks anyway

Darn, how tedious - we must have been starting to loose our grip this late on a frosty night! Another DNF for Team McWindeLuneX7, though I see a later cacher has found it. Thanks stoutwind.
Ow! The vegetation is carnivorous ... got the prize though. First find for today

Found by graemey from the UK at second attempt with my son in law- richbritty-a kiwi-whilst trying to achieve 50 caches in NZ.TFTC.Nice hide.
Firts cache of the morning found more or less by baby bear, all on his own. Nice spot.
Looked in a few likely spots but the prize was somewhat elusive. Finally, the last sentence in the description did the trick. Nice reserve. Thanks stoutwind.
Good clue, relatively easy to find. Hadn't been to the area before so it was nice.
Nice One!!!!!!!! One of the many caches found during our extended great long weekend in the city. Very cold and windy with lots of the wet stuff, yet much fun. Thanks
Easy find, with a convenient seat to log my find.
Beware of the dog poo near ground zero - the reason it's so smeared looking is that I trod in it. Bugger!

A nice little park and walkway. I used to work next to this park when Cashmere Downs Nursery existed. Penruddock Rise did not exist then. TFTC

With Taylors.
Fell into the bushes by the bridge in an attempt to find (didn't), had to use the clue. We knew we'd found it when the vegetation bit Helen.
A well hidden little spot.
Took tiki and bird
Left rock pet and red car

A very nice little walkway along the river. Took a little bit of fossicing but we nailed it in the end. Loads of muggles with small children and little dogs on walks. Retrieved TB rechargeable drill for the second time.
A quick find. I don't know why I didn't do this one when I found the one up the hill. TFTC. Hatas
Another find on my afternoon out in the sun. I have been to a few places today that I never knew were there.
Mr B encouraged Jnr B to have a go while sorting out the geobag for a few seconds and was both proud & annoyed to discover Jnr B had cache in hand. TFTC + GC
A kwik find. If anyone is planning on finding this cache the a new logbook would be useful.
Once we managed to find the reserve, the cache was in plain view, so we rehid it out of sight - and the vegetation didn't bite! TFTC
Blen and the kids found it on a luverly sunny day, with a nice cooling breeze. TFTC, TNLN
Found first up on our last day in Christchurch for this trip. Tha cache is dry and in good condition. TN, LN, SL. A lovely little park and walk area. Thanks to stoutwind for the cache.

I found it! I FOUND IT!!! On the 4th visit, determined to get it this time with a friend in tow for another pair of eyes, I finally found it! I'm scratched and bloody, but I GOT IT!
And now I don't know what the deal was. It's easy. It's obvious. And the scratchings weren't even necessary.
