Thanks so much!! Loved finding this one!!! And to think that it had been here since 2005 is absolutely crazy!! Like it's older than me!! Definitely recommend for beginners (i am a beginnermyself!!!)
On our first full day in Tasmania we headed for the Botanic Gardens and the surrounding Queens Domain on our geocache quest Enjoyed our walk and the quick find TFTC TeamSwampy
Out for an afternoon walk on the Domain, and I remembered this cache that weve gone past so many times but had never stopped to find it for some reason. The cache was a quick find and is in excellent condition. The pen inside worked as well, which is rare, and lucky as we didnt have one. Thanks for the cache Swampy!
Muggers be muggin. But wit a chance ta sit and rest me weary legs he were most welcome.
A great little cache, we have restocked it with plenty of kid friendly treasures
After our stay at the botanical garden, we visited this large Cache. TFTC MCoMeter
A nice quick find whilst out grabbing a few caches before work on leap day. Good to come across a few old caches like this today. TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan
Great spot and great view at sunset. The last of my evening walk around the domain. Thanks.

Thank you for placing this Dsli (Dsli means little box in Swiss) oinkoinkText @holiday home
Heute besuchten wir unter anderen auch den zweiten Teil des Queens Domain Garden. Wir fanden die Dose recht gut bei wunderbarem Wetter. Besten Dank frs legen und pflegen.
TFTC. Cache and contents are in good condition. A well constructed hide will help keep this one dry.Out and about collecting caches while the family enjoy Salamanca market
First time in Tassie. I had this one on my list as a missing year/month. Cache found in good nick. TFTC!
Thanks team swampy, another domain pick up. Looks like they have done some controlled burning.
Going for a walk around the Domain today, one of a few caches found. Straightforward with the hint

Quick find, TFTC! This is an old one, Swampy - wow! Thanks heaps for maintaining it. Fantastic stump and view. Hands too cold to write more sorry
My wife and I have flown down from Brisbane to Hobart for a short holiday to use up the last of our remaining flight credits collected during Covid. While my wife enjoyed a sleep in, I headed out bright and early on a rather chilly morning to find some geocaches during a walk along the Hobart Rivulet Trail.
Afterwards I headed back in to the city to meet up with her for a late breakfast around the Salamanca Markets before I then continued on for a walk out towards Queens Domain. Along the way I was able to call in and visit this cache.
A recent burn off only just missed the cache and I found it safely tucked away. Stamped my name in the logbook and continued my stroll around the park. TFTC

Popped in to do a new cache and grabbed this one on the way out. Nice view. Good cache. Thanks TeamSwampy
Stunning day for a walk like this! Easy find! Thanks for another reason to get a smiley face!
Today is our first full day in Tasmania. Shortly after breakfast we set out to collect as many solved puzzles as we could reach on foot from our hotel, and anything else of interest that we came across on our path. As we approached Roman's view from one direction, we met up with a couple of fellow travellers coming from the opposite direction. Found this one in the company of supernanny and Net61. Thanks.
We were part of a group of keen NZ geocachers staying in Tasmania for a week!
I think it was day 2 when Net61 and I had a big walk up in Queens Domain.
A very interesting place with a lot of sports fields and walks and exploring to be done .
We bumped into KiwiCouple up here....and Net61 made the find with them fairly quickly in the obvious place .
Thanks .

Nice walk down from the lookout at sunset. When I saw the GZ and read the hint my heart sank however the first place I rested my eyes was obvious
Cool little trail and cairn. Can’t count the times I’ve walked Max’s Loop over the years, yet I had no idea that was even there! TFTC. ️
On holiday from Perth and hunting for 200 this is 198. Found after a short search
I was up this way today to get a couple of caches in the area - this one being one of them. A quick and easy find. TFTC.
I think this might be the oldest one for me! Also not recommended with the baby in the front pack and Jandals on the feet
Took a gash out of my new blundstones and a few chunks of skin out of my shin but still found I guess
Thanks for the interesting spot. First time doing this after a long time. Appreciate it! J,C&D
Tassie is the gift that keeps on giving. The apple isle has some stunning sights. This being one of them. Breaking up a study day with a meander around Queens Domain and finding a cache every hour. Might stay here to write essay number three. Tftc
