Came out to tackle the island this weekend. Out of all of my geocaching trips. This was perhaps one of the coolest places I have been. We had an awesome time working around the island. I would have come here even if there wasn't caches here but it was only through geocaching I discovered it. Answers are sent. Thanks for the earth cache Arf!

DarkO Paycho (me, Odyn and psychovw) from northern Chicagoland embarked on an epic 4 day 10 state road trip to collect new states and find quality caches. This was Day 4 which took us from Lexington, KY back home to Lake County, IL.

It was hot out today. He made a quick stop to see this cool area and grab a couple of earthcaches. This wasn't originally on our list since Paycho had already found it, but I saw it was right by where we were for another EC, so I gathered the info needed on site. I wish we could have spent more time, but we had fun with the time we had. Answers sent for Odyn and me. TFTEC!

Got an escorted trip through the interpretive center with ARF. With the water levels today it's definitely a wow! Site. Favorite for the EC. Tftec.

Visiting the Falls on a weekday makes all the difference in the world. We've been here before on a weekend and you couldn't find parking place. Today it was ours.
Thanks for the EC. Info sent

Another educational earthcache from Arf. It was a great day for a walk around the area and researching the information to complete some of the earthcaches located here. I will make a trip back to find a few more.

What a great day for Earthcaching, a little warm and humid, but no worse than Missouri. Plan to post pictures later. Thanks for bringing me to this area, have been to New Albany many times but not to thsi spot. Thanks AirRaidFan for doing this Earghcache.

Cool spot to visit on a nasty day. I would have liked to stay longer, but there was too much freezing rain.

TFTEC. My tournament over (not quite the results I had hoped for) but daylight still left I decided to tackle some ECs on the way back home. For whatever reason, I hadn't done many caches of ANY kind in this park but I wanted to focus on ECs this afternoon. The water levels are up, causing many of the higher terrain caches to be underwater but there were a few that could be done and this was the second one. The wind and snow were certainly whipping around up here from this vantage point! I went to GZ, got in a picture that kind of shows the falls, got the other required info and froze my butt off in the process, even though I drove the car from the last EC and had time to thaw out! Email already sent and picture to be uploaded after this submission.

I am in town visiting friends and while here I am able to do some caching. Earthcaches are among my favorites, so it was great to visit here. I only wish it weren't quite so cold this morning. The cold forced me to cut my visit short.
