Did this one while passing by with a new cacher i met at ZKAFE cache and dropped "Via Novus" TB in who wants to travel the world making miles.TFTC Buzz and a great idea to move TBs on.
Found this after a 5 min walk from the airport. No residents at the hotel at the time so TNLN. We did stop by the WOW exibit before going to the airport. It was an interesting side trip.
Found during a caching holiday in Nelson. Lovely weather. Took TB and left pack of cards
No 23. And last of the day. Left ChCh at 1.30am and is now about 6.30pm. Had lots of fun and lots of History lessons. No swaps. Had to use torch and security guard was walking toward me as I drove off. Hope new security measures dont make TB DL close to airports a problem.
Leaving for the USA on 9 August, so I thought I would help clean out the TBs from the Nelson TB Departure Lounge. I took 5 TBs; 4 will go to the USA and I'll leave one at the Auckland Airport. There are 2 TBs left: 1 wants to get to Wellington (the oldest NZ cache), and the other, Moray Eel, is in a race with Manta Ray TB and wants to get to Bluff and back before Manta Ray gets to the north and back. The Texas TB was not in the cache, although it is supposed to be (maybe someone took it and hasn't logged it yet?).
Looking forward to doing a little geocaching in the USA.

The Manta Ray and "Going to New Zealand's First" (Lobster) TB are both trying to get to North Island.
Came back today. I'd forgotten to get a photo of the Racing Manta Ray TB so I snapped a picture of him, then dropped off the Racing Moray Eel TB. Manta Ray is heading North, Moray Eel is heading South. First one to the tip of this country (north or south) and back here wins!
Dropped Off Travel Bug, Couldnt get the poor thing to its destination. (nz post sent the envalope back, Saying it was too heavy)
Easy find. Placed a new TB, the Racing Manta Ray. He is one his way to the North Island and on to Cape Reinga.
Very good cache! I flogged the World Cup Travel Bug. - Will try to get it to germany somehow!
Popped in to drop off Jamie's Creepy Crawlies TB. They want to get to London but are looking forward to adventures all over the place on the way!
All well at the cache.

Stopped in to drop of a TB that I've had for WAY too long. It needs to get to WELLINGTON as quickly as possible. Last year I was there every week with time to kill this year I've been flat out when I've been there so the wee bug has been back and forth about 10 times. Anyway I'm embarassed at how long I've had it so ..... please get it to its destination ASAP.
Also I was accosted by a young security guard while working on the, who was worried about the head geocaching Lbbeing with me .... LOL.

Missed the first parking spot, and ended up having to park at a meter - but money well spent.

Last cache of the day, and an easy find before heading home. I biked up to GZ from the previous two caches, and discovered it in the second spot I looked. No exchange made. Cheers Gav [761]

Some young guys had found the cache and written their weird comments but fortunately they replaced it without any harm.

Found it with Michael on his first GC trip. Funny enough, we got muggled by the Airport Security guy speeding up to us in his car...! And just because somebody close by was sleeping with a backpack lying around.
Took TB 'Happy Ness' and gonna take him across the beloved Pacific water to San Francisco.

Stopped in at 0430 to pick up Larry the Library Lizard TB, the new cache is HUGE and was visible from a fair way off- perhaps the smaller one was better?
Easy find.

Dropped Kahu the Cautious Kiwi TB in here for a quick view of Nelson before he goes exploring.
Time to move Kahu the Kiwi TB on. It was too busy here at the airport for a kiwi anyway. Maybe he'd prefer the West coast.
We upgraded the size of the cache to allow more chunkier TB's in there. The traceable Digifish is still there, it is tiny so can be overlooked. Someone please take it for a swim somewhere.
Spend a lot of time around, & trying to climb a completely different gerr. It turns out that the waypoint in my GPS was about 70m out. That's wierd! It was only as we passed that we checked just in case. I've never had that happen before. The coords normally come directly from GPX files.
Were they different at one stage?
I guess it's possible that I did some fiddling with them as I edited the coords for ZK-AFE...
-McNasty, +Larry the Library Lizard, who's visiting libraries, and heading off to see some old mates in the NI.
Thanks.

This is a really handy site and a good idea. Well done. I have dropped Mrs Pengie there after taking here to London and back and not being able to drop her off because off all the security activities over there. Can someone please find a new home for her. She is very well behaved.
Picked up 4x TBs, plus my Geocoin.
Dropped off two TBs that I had picked up in varous caches yesterday.
Am back down to Hokitika tonight, then up to off to Auckland during the week, so will hopefully get a chance to drop some of the TBs off or help them with their missions.

Easy find and I dropped of a geocoin, but forgot to record its number, will have to go look again and come back!
Great idea, and good to know its handy.
Cheers

Dropped back at the Departure Lounge after failing to help out... Took south with me but other things intervened with geocaching so didn't get chance to place. Sorry for the pointless diversion!
My very first cache! Now with the bit between my teeth and my trusty Garmin 12 I hope to find many more. Thanks to Buzz Tasman for establishing something for me to find.

This is the best TB Hotel we have seen yet. So close to the airport and handy for travellers. We were also impressed with the way it is set up and documented.

Dropped by to swap some bugs, KiwiBlack Bear and Awaroa Endeavour to go to Scotland and Ireland respectively. Was going to pick up Hiker Smurf but it seems it got taken out a few days ago! Left a green star stone too.
Biking from Brightwater to Nelson with the boys. They were very taken by the Smurf travel Bug so we will transport it to Picton to catch the ferry to Wellington in the hope of getting to a bigger airport to jump off to the states.
