Did this one over a period of 3 days on 3 different morning runs. I had to work them out at home because I don't wear my glasses while running. Great to find such an old cache in top condition.
What a nice multi the finish had the nicest view. Found with Ashuri_D. Tftc
Very close to another cache but it was easy to distinguish the two. Really enjoyed the puzzle! TFTC Found with PolarOrangephant
A great afternoon multi to bring me up here into this reserve which Ive been meaning to do for years! Scared the wits out of a walking man and his dog when I popped up over a ledge but luckily he was a geocaching dog walker and all was forgiven. Cache in good condition despite extreme heat that has been through here recently, as seen in the photo of molten metal from a nearby fence pole!!
Gosh, we were out on the Trail and decided to begin with this one. A nice old multi. As we made our way round the Trail, we collected the numbers for the two waypoints, and then noticed on the map that this one ( the final gz) was very close to another. Not quite sure how that has happened and how the other one has passed by the reviewer without the proximity rule being enforced? This one has been around for 18 years. Nonetheless, for a geocacher, this felt like a bonus find in a great location with spectacular views. Thanks rustymac Domsky
Well that was quite a hilarious find for me and I gather it’s the same for at least one other caches. Was out here looking for a completely different cache and stumbled across this one! Of course I signed it and took the free find This must be what muggles feel like stumbling upon caches!
TFTC! I returned the cache a bit better camod than how I found it; now back to finding the other one!

Bit of a scramble at the end. Nana kept telling me off but eventually found it. TFTC =)
Found It!
Parked at WP1, then went to WP2 and soon had the final location worked out. Then once we got there we found the cache after a bit of searching around. Nice to find an 18 year old cache that still has the original logbook in it!

A very strange occurrence with this and another cache. Anyways good views and walk. OCW LaighsideLegends TFTC
Just catching up on logs, apologies for the delay.
OCW SueDan83 today and exploring this lovely bushland area known as Burnham Burnham. I've never been here before and have really enjoyed hiking along the trails and the lovely views out to the Woronora River. Very grateful to have gotten out for some much needed fresh air and sunshine, though it is certainly starting to warm up. We have definitely squeezed out every last minute we can out of 'bush caching' season this year.
At Dan's suggestion, we parked the geo-mobile at WP1 of this multi and then set about locating the required information and making the necessary calculations before hitting the trails. Soon enough we arrived at WP2 where further information was found and used to determine GZ. As we made our way there, we came across a large group of bushwalkers who were curious as to what we were doing. They were rather intrigued as I explained 'geocaching' to them and further astounded when I told them that some caches have been in place for 20 odd years!
GZ was a beautiful location with scenic views. I enjoyed the scramble to get to the necessary spot to retrieve the cache. As I did so, the bushwalking group caught up to us and I was able to show them our 'treasure'!
Since arriving home, I have looked up the dreamtime story of Kai'mia. Though a little sad, it was a lovely read. Thanks for this great cache and for bringing us to such a nice spot rustymac. Awarding a FP.

Another Friday out caching with oldmorty.
Arrived at WP1 and recorded information required.
Drove around and parked at the end of the fire trail, then made our way to WP2.
Calculations made, we headed off to GZ.
Such a lovely location to hide a cache.

Out in the Shire with frazeydaze grabbing a few more caches. We enjoyed this one. At both wp's the information was found quickly and apparently our calcs were spot on as we ended up finding the cache, although I did leave the mountain goating at gz to frazeydaze. The walk with all the flannel flowers and the spectacular view at gz are worthy of a FP.

OK so I don't get to this part of Sydney often so I was keen to try and find this old cache when I decided to come to the event down near the river this morning.
I left home early and drove to WP1 where I was quickly able to find the required information, did the calculations and headed off.
Hmm, very tricky as I'm vertically challenged. After much scrambling I arrived at WP2, however it was time for the event so I headed back to the geomobile.
That turned out to be lucky as someone at the event suggested a better spot to park the geomobile for access to WP2 and 3. After the event I drove there and began my walk. This is a beautiful reserve - really nice bushland with plenty of native flowers, even for this time of the year and no weeds, great views and interesting rock formations and erosion along the tracks and plenty of native birds calling so I really enjoyed my walk.
Once near GZ of course 3 groups of muggles came along so I sat and enjoyed the location until they'd all gone.
Then it was on to cache hunting which turned out to be quite easy as while I was waiting I'd sat in a good spot where I could see it.
TFTC - favourite point - excellent reserve, and a nice old cache which is in excellent condition.

Log to follow.
With an up and coming trip on the horizon I am working on getting some old caches found and ticked off very soon, not only to fill my grid, but to tick off the ones that are within my reach and show up the ones I really need to focus on getting on my trip. So I'm busy compiling and sorting ready for the onslaught of those ancient gold containers. I can't believe how many are being archived - sad.

On a cache run with phlphotos today and decided to collect some more multi-caches that we need for a challenge cache. Retrieved the needed information whilst phlphotos watched on from nearby. Made our way to GZ for a quick find. With the cache in hand, we signed the log before replacing it as found. Both the log and cache container are in good condition. Thanks for cache rustymac.

The last Bonnet bay cache for the day, i parked at wp1 and gathered the required info and then retired back to my car to solve it. With some good numbers i continued on down the track to wp2. A quick solve of that info had me with the final coordinates. As i approached GZ i got to take in the wonderful views of the nearby area before picking up the cache. A good walk overall with a good view at the finish line. I also dropped off a trackable. Thank you!
Parked in Bunbury to start this one. The first two waypoints were no trouble, and led me to GZ easily. Lovely views of the river and my old stomping ground of Harrison Ave in lower Bonnet Bay. Cache was pretty basic and still in excellent condition. TFTC : )
I really enjoyed this older Multicache. The required information was accessible and the formulas/instructions were very clear. I enjoyed the pleasant walk and quality views.
An easy find was made at Ground Zero. Thanks Rustymac.

Find 1 of 2 while out caching in Bonnet Bay collecting jewel fragments for the mystery. This was my main target today, an unloved multi.
This is a great old school multi! Straight forward waypoints and calcs and a great final location. I had some doubts when I calced wp2 but it all makes sense when you get to it. I never knew these tracks existed so thanks for the introduction to this place. I had a read about the concept of the Kai’ mia Way - what a great idea, a real shame it didnt seem to catch on.
At the spectacular GZ the cache was quickly spotted and extracted. I then watched my water bottle sail down the slope....grr earned another star or two for the terrain rating on retreiving it! Signed the log and returned as found, all in good order here.
Thanks for the great cache rustymac, I can’t believe this one hasn’t been found for over six months, but I’ll take the unloved days!

I wanted to get out this morning and grab a cache or two as the skies look like they might open up later on.
At WP1 i was a bit confused at where to get the coords at first because my eyes immediately went to the wrong thing when i got to the area.
As soon as i spotted the actual (and obvious) coords i calculated the next location and moved on.
As i now knew what to look for WP2 was quickly passed through and i was soon at the GZ.
After looking around for a couple of minutes, and admiring the view, i spotted some camo and pulled out the cache.
Thanks.

#2285 this was a fun multi. Found the info at listed and converted them into numbers for the next location. As approaching thinking what did I get wrong as it didn't appear to be what I was rxpecting to find, but in the end it was correct and it provided me with some more numbers I could use to make GZ plugged these into the GPSr and off I headed. As I approached GZ I had a bit of a look but no luck. Sat down and checked some logs as well as the map on the GPSr & realised I missed a spot went there and spotted the hide

We had the coordinates for WP1 one a couple of months ago already when we going for "It's a dog's life" and "game of gnomes" on the east side of the road. Today we were looking for a container at WP1 and then I realized that WP1 wasn't the final! We walked further, no hassle since we were going to do a loop anyway towards Kiddies Treasure and Mr Moon.
At WP2 we scrambled down and found the container a little bit further up again
TFTC, it's a beauty! Have a FP.

14/8/16. 11:34 AM. Cache #4094.
2nd of 2 finds - Bonnet Bay, Jannali - completing unfinished business from yesterday.
Yesterday was a big day, getting most of the caches in these two suburbs, but leaving 2 multis only partially finished. I ended the day at the beginning point for this cache, grabbing the SU numbers and solving the maths at home later in the evening.
This morning, after a long time finishing "Confound the Language", Bonnet Bay was now cleared, so I came over here to finish this one, parking at my calculated WP2. My, what a big pole! More numbers, more calculations and then I proceeded on foot to GZ, admiring the views along the way.
My iPhone took a long time to settle once I got at GZ, sending me in circles. On a flat area, that's normally no problem, but on a slope like this, it meant I was up and down several levels, before finally laying eyes on the likely camo, which revealed the cache. I really enjoyed the hunt and the views, so you get a fave point.
That's Jannali cleared too now. I considered heading over to clear Kareela (3 caches), but "Quest for the Holy Grail" looks like it had too many WPs for the time I had available, so I just decided to head home with these two now put to bed. TFTC.

After the recent nearby CITO event, I stopped by to work out the numbers from WP1 and WP2. I decided to leave the searching until today, so I followed the tracks and then my compass until I reached GZ. A look here and there, and soon I uncovered the well-hidden cache. Both container and contents are in very good condition for one that is 11 years old. And it has been undiscovered for 7 months too!
I made a few swaps then admired the fantastic view looking down to the Woronora River and over to the Woronora Bridge. A very peaceful setting for a well constructed multi. Will give it a favourite when I get more points. TFTC. #560

This one is very close to home but we never got around to doing it until now! We figured out the "clues" for both waypoints quite quickly (WP2 was sneaky though), it was just the maths that was the slower bit haha! Beautiful view at final, I have a soft spot for this bushland reserve in particular and this just makes me love it even more . Thanks for the great multi rustymac!
What a magnificent view from GZ. I don't understand how this cache only has 5 fave points in 10 years! Unfortunately I do not have a premium account atm but if I ever so again I might add one here later. TFTC!
This was such a good view and so close to home. I'm going to take all my friends here. And the multi was a lot of fun too. TFTC
We parked close by way point 1 and headed over. It took a couple of moments to realise the start clues but once spotted the maths was done and off we went through the bush for a quick find of way point 2. Some more number crunching and off to GZ. As we got close we had some nice views but then the terrain increased so we checked the cords to find we were 30m off due to an error. Once fixed a short search turned up the hide. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

Reperio at 1640.
I headed down from Newcastle last night to spend today caching around the Sutherland Shire area, and I happened to be close by this one so decided to check it out. Grabbed the numbers for WP1 from the drivers seat, and then it was off to WP2. Parked and went for a nice stroll along the fire trail...and soon arrived at WP2 where the next set of numbers were calculated. Another short walk later, and I was at GZ admiring some beautiful views, and a great location for a cache. Enjoyed this multi.

Found this morning, I needed to find a cache in Jannali, didn't know this was going to be a multi, anyway I completed it nice walk thorough area. CO needs to list the Geocoin as missing or contact the owners as it is not in the container, and was put there 2 years ago. TFTC
I made a small mistake at wp1 and ended up on the opposite side of the major road.and found a su number that did not match the clue.

This cache represents why I love this activity so much. Surprisingly good and having lived in Wonorora and surrounds for decades, I didn't even know these trails existed till now. Fav point from me.
A multi with a great reward at the end. No troubles in finding any waypoints and did a full circle at GZ. Marvelled at the effort to carb steps in the sandstone for walkers. Great multi rustymac, SL TNLN
Found wp1 and wp2 easily then on to GZ. GPS was a bit off and did a little bit of bush bashing to get to GZ . Once back on track found cache after a little searching. Left Flower TB. Great spot with nice views. Took a different track out and really enjoyed the walk with geo-daughter TFTC.
Finally our GPS unit settled down after a fair bit of indecision at WP1 involving crossing the road numerous times. We headed for WP2 and then WP3 where we sat and had some lunch while searching for GZ. After thinking that maybe the maths was wrong we checked one last time and there it was. Incredible views. TFTC
Last today and have to say left the best for last. After doing the waypoints I got to gz and was surprised with the views. Made a quick find. Good to see a place I used to live in TFTC

I severely over complicated this find.
After working out where I should be I had issues with GPS reception which made me doubt my GZ loc.
I took a step back to think about where the hide could be and only then found the cache.

While in the area, decided to go for a multi as I love em. Got the needed info at WP1 and took off for WP2. Nice little climb there. Then found WP2 and finally found the needed info and after working it out, walked to GZ. Once I got got 80m away, I thought something must be wrong as the GPSr wanted my of the cliff! Hmmm.... I sat down and rechecked my maths, and sure enough I was out. Turns out I had walked 30m past GZ. I walked back and found the cache after a little search. SL, TNLN and replaced. Nice views from here. Great little multi rustymac, TFTC.

After I completely stuffed up at WP1, and going on a wild goose chase around the local streets, we returned to WP1 to find the CORRECT info and start again. This led us on a nice wander along various tracks, to finally arrive at GZ and some wonderful views. Cache was soon found and signed. Found with Rat&Brats. TFTC.
Solved the coords during the week so took a lovely bush walk this morning to GZ. Very enjoyable cache. Thanks Rustymac. Took the travel bug and will move him along shortly. Lefy a deck of cards.

This is another cache that I have walked past many times without knowing it was there. This is a great walk and the view is spectacular.
We returned in the light and the cahe was in our hands quickly. 2 juggles walked past so had to be a bit discrete. Thanks for the lookout. Dropped TB.
Started to look a little late in the day. Found WP1 and WP2 but it was getting dark. Walked near the GZ but too dangerous in diminishing light and only one torch. Will return soon...
A great little multi, that I had previously tried but not actually reached GZ as the was an illegal camp close by. Today, having DNF'd another nearby cache with The Neighbs who had previously found this, we ventured back to GZ. Being with a previous finder, she showed me the easy track to GZ. Last time I had bushbashed a lot of the way after making a wrong turn. She sat back as I made the find quickly. Once at GZ enjoyed the views and made the find easily. A nice, easy multi with great views at the end, TFTC rusymac

With Kingzy on navigation, he decided we should bush bash as opposed to staying at WP2 and taking the path. Regardless, it made for a good caching trip as a storm was setting in and captured some awesome photo's at the GZ.

Very nice views at this cache. Looked around for about 5-10mins and decided to call my misses. I then happend to spy the cache. Well hidden. Very nice and easy find.

Nice easy multi. Great little bush area. Lot's of photo opportunities. I would recommend after visiting GZ, continue on the track and loop back around. It's a beautiful walk.
Found Wp1, then found Wp2, then we found the cache, in a beautiful, forgotten piece of bushland. Beaut views. Thumbs up.

Got the co-ords for GZ no problem at all, then headed off in the general direction. Didn't actually make it to GZ because as I was getting closer I spotted a backpack up against a tree. Thinking someone must have left it there to climb down the rocks I continued. A little further I came across a pile of backpacks and bags against a rock ledge with a tarp over them. Then I found a washing line, then stumbled across 2 tents. What a wonderful place to set up camp with great views. The GPS was taking me past the tents and being on my own I did not want to disturb anyone who may have taken up residence there! I decided to leave it and am hoping the camp is temporary. I shall return in a little while and see. Thanks for bringing me here anyway. I have never been here before.
Finally got to this one this morning after gathering WP1 information months ago.
A little brisk but a really enjoyable walk this morning and a well put together progessive multi. Fantastic views approaching GZ- took me a minute to locate the cache but after searching one spot I turned around and spotted a likely hiding spot and there it was. Took the TB. TFTC!

Out for a couple of hours caching with the dog crossing off some of the closer to home caches. I'd started this one a couple of years ago, found waypoint 1, but then unable to complete as I was supposed to be watching one of my kids soccer matches nearby. Back today though. The waypoints were very straightforward so we were enjoying the views of GZ in a short space of time. I spent a lot of time at GZ looking for the cache - however, the coords were spot on. I was just making it more complicated than it should have been! All in all, a very enjoyable walk.
Left a TB, took nothing. Thanks for the cache rustymac!
best wishes,

TFTC, Took Hat pin and left Fridge magnet. I was ready to give up and walk away when I recognised the hide.
Found my first one. Not to hard. Good spot. Chopper the dog enjoyed the walk.
If you want to explore a bit more, keep on following the track to the end then turn right at any of the paths and you will loop back to where you have been already.

This is one of those multi's that I've driven past many a time and just havent had enough time to do it, well today I had time to spare and thoroughly enjoyed the walk. It offers some great views and once out of the wind it was a nice spot to take in the vista.
Thanks

What a great view at the end of a pleasant walk. We sat and enjoyed the view and the afternoon sunshine. TNLN TFTC
Possibly one of the nicest multi caches I have done. Two clean clues. Lovely walk (lovely day) Great views. Again a new place in the Shire. Thanks heaps for this one. (approaching .. my 100th)
TFTC. Enjoyed the walk despite taking wrong track and coming in xcountry. Spectacular views as the sun set over the valley. Sat quietly and took in the pleasant surroundings. What a way to spend Sunday afternoon. Took tiga and left a jeep.
Another joint Mr Usat31-Hancock Clan team effort while the girls were off shopping at Miranda fair. This was a nice walk with some great views from near GZ (much nicer than traipsing around a busy mall!). As we were stood nearby admiring the view, a couple of locals passed by and pointed out some other nearby picturesque places you could see from here that not many people know about. Hmm...what do you think we were thinking? And not in NPWS territory either!
Anyway, took the TB but otherwise TNLN.

To think, years ago we almost bought a house that adjoined this reserve & yet we have never ever been in it!! This was a lovely walk though a great little spot, with some really good views to boot.
Once at GZ, the find was made fairly quickly & then MT H & Mr Us just stood there admiring more views & thinking...... a lot!
Thanks for the cache & also for for finally getting me to take a walk in this great reserve,
Cheers.

Don't know why more people don't do this cache. Good views and nice walk. Coords correct for cache location, so after I read the map right it did not take long. Took a TB and left one & SL.

Made a slight error with last waypoint calculation and once I realised, it was a quick fix and a very short walk to the cache. Absolutely top spot. Thanks Heaps!
My swap was too big for the cache but took a TB and GC.

What a great fun cache in a great spot with great views good work rustymac. After completeing each WPT i was at GZ and had the cache in hand not to long after had a read through the logs and did my duties picked up one TBug and left a coin & TBug Thanks for the adventure....
The second multi for the day, and I should have read the clues a little more closely, as I was hunting for the cache at wpt2..... when I thought "this is no place to hide a cache!", wait a minute, there is a wpt3...what an idiot! Some calculations and I was off to wpt3 and the cache. What would local cache hiders do without the Woronora River for wonderful views....? TNLNSL TFTC
