Spent a fair bit of time looking for this one, both before and after the CO was contacted. May be it was the hot sun on the rocks!Although we looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out!Unfortunately this 3/3 didn't want to show itself to us today!Anyway, thanks Roostaman for bringing us to this location. *This log composed and published using Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK).*

A sunny and hot day followed Suscoe today as we cached with our great friends Phetlern. We had a most enjoyable day together. We headed to the Charles Sturt Uni area of North Wagga and surrounds and then back across the Murrumbidgee to find a few more Ad Labs and caches on a hot afternoon.Sadly we had no luck here even after a friendly chat with the CO. Oh well another trip might have to be planned to include this hide.

11-May-24
My banding trip to Charcoal Tank (West Wyalong) was cancelled due to forecast rain but I decided to go anyway. Camped in the car (good call as it rained on and off all night) and so after a quick bird walk (hoped for species seen) and a drive to Ungarie for the AdLab a slow trip home to collect some selected caches (mainly higher D/T or a series to complete).Third visit today and I was determined to find it (no snakes today - too cold). I hunted and looked and tried lower than I had on previous visits. In the end I resorted to a hint from the CO which he was very quick to respond. Once I had an area still took a bit of looking but pretty certain I hadnt looked in that spot on previous visits.TFTC Roostaman - thanks for the help but glad I dont have to visit again Grabbed the TB to move along

Well that was a bit of luck. TFTF

Today we explored Wagga Wagga and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. We enjoyed travelling through the countryside and visiting new, to us, locations. We found a variety of hides with varying degrees of difficulty. After a long search we resulted in contacting the CO who gave us a hint to find GZ. Yep it is there, had to move some of that sticky weed to uncover the cache. Many thank Roostaman for your cache placement.

06-Jul-23
Not found today! Bit too tricky with the terrain for us.

23-May-23
After a long drive, what was a good way to stretch the legs thanks for the cache

18-Apr-23
Finally found it on my third visit to the site. Certainly wasn't the easiest terrain to traverse and there were many potential hidey holes. But is was pleasant sitting and having a drink by the lagoon watching the Corellas carry on. I lingered at this place by the water for a while after I found the cache..

05-Nov-22
My son had a training day at the Scout Hall so I had a day of geocaching to occupy my time (we travelled over last night). Was an interesting day with floodwater, snakes and mosquitoes adding to the challenge. Has quite a few DNFs (expected with urban caches) but still made 19 finds (and 14 AdLab waypoints - 4 started but only 1 completed). Avenged a couple of DNFs and travelled around a lots of parts of town that I have never visited.

Second crack at this one (last time crushed a finger rolling rocks) and not claiming a DNF as I am certain it is there. As I headed to the monument the second brown snake for the day disappeared in the rocks. Curbed my hunting too hard - gave a ten minute search but while I was here at least three cars pulled up to take photos of the floodwater.
I will be back for this one Roostaman

22-Sep-22
That’s the tricky thing about a harder find…you don’t know when to give up…it could be under or around the next one…
After 30 mins and requesting a clue it (didn’t need it really, the posted hint is enough) was found nice and snug. Thank god for that!
SL at 7:55am. Nice work Roosterman.

Found on our Wagga Wagga trip. I DNF'd this 8 years ago so I wanted redemption today. We spent about 10min searching around before we finally spotted it, a good challenge! TNLNSL. TFTC Roostaman!

04-Jun-22
After a longer stay in Tumut than we had originally intended it was time to move on. Time spent with family is never wasted though, so our time there was very well spent and much enjoyed.
We didn't move far however and have arrived in Wagga for a few days where we have caught up with Roosterman and Mrs Roosta again and then also joined by Rebel Acts. The team back together!
The weather has been variable and made approaching some caches challenging due to the accumulated water and mud. And boy has it been cold at times!
Still we have chased a variety of caches and managed to find some high D/T ones on our way.
Always a great time caching with good friends.

Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Roostaman.

Had a HARDDDD look, no luck! Been back 2 times now!! Help!

08-Aug-21
Came to Wagga Wagga with Tankengine initially to attend an event or two, but due to unforeseen circumstances the events were cancelled. But we thought why not come anyway, there are so many caches here we have to pick up and there will be plenty more the next time we come back when the events are live again.

This cache: Took a while, but found it in the end. Thankfully. I’ve had too many dnfs this trip and this one looked really hard. Thankfully I flukes it. Tftc Roostaman!!!

06-Jun-21
Caching on with ilook4geo into new territory for this trip. Some bridge finds sounded like fun, but we had to spend quite a bit of time here before the cache came to light. All found logs were signed and each cache was put back as it had been found. Thank you to Roostaman for adding this cache to the game.

11-Jul-19
We pulled up here and it was drizzling so we decided to have a look but not take too much time. All I could think of was "Eagle Rock" back in Victoria. We found the cache quicker than I thought we did. Thanks for placing it here.

11-Jul-19
We looked at the search area and looked at the sky. We decided that we would give it as long as the weather held out, which we didn't think would be long as it was already a light rain and had been raining on and off all morning. We both went to our respective GZ's and with thought's of Werribee's Eagle Rock in our heads, we were both surprised to make the find rather quickly. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here. Would be lovely in better weather.

Having the day free and not being away meant I could finally attempt this new trail between Coolamon and Wagga Wagga. Having seen who the CO is ‘The Drovers’, I knew it was going to be a mixture of easy and difficult to find caches. I arrived at cache #1 at 12:25pm and left from the last one at 3pm. I then decided on have a snack at Macca’s and find a couple of other caches that I hadn’t found yet but have been meaning to. All caches I found today are in great shape and ready for the next finders. Thank you ‘Drovers’ for the great trail and thank you to all other CO’s of the caches I found and for the fun I had today. Smile
Today’s totals:
16 Finds Smile
3 DNF’s Sad
2 Not Attempted

This one has been on my to do list for quite some time now. I understand how this can be difficult but I was out of my car for less than 5 mins. Easy find and now onto Macca's. TFTC

03-Jun-18
Yay!!! We found it. I was on the phone to CO getting instructions as hubby called out ‘found it’. Excellent! Only one cache left in the series before we tackle the final stage.

27-May-18
Have driven past this one soo many times & never been able to stop for a look. We were enjoying a caching run around Wagga today so pulled in for a squiz. Thanks for the hint. Meant it didn't take too long to track this one down. SL and replaced as found.

Left here for the next on the list 'scary night' & as we jumped outta the car our youngest realised he left his bag of swaps at the monument here. Best dad eva drove him back to grab them while the other half of the team kept caching...

T4TC - Wow, what a cache. This one took some looking and some physical activity. After a panic msg to Roosterman for a clue we found it before his reply. Just before we gave up. Found with kriddynsash09.

TFTC. The last time we attempted this cache was just shy of twelve months ago. We were returning to Wagga Wagga after completing the Friends Trail to Marat. Doing a loop to get back. Today I scrambled to the bottom and Linda looked from above. she spotted something and directed me up. BIngo a nice one to get off our Blue list.

WE needed to drive back in to Wagga from Temora for an appointment. Running early we stopped here for a look. After 10 minutes we had to call it a day as the appointment time was fast approaching.

28-Jul-16
We looked for this cache during a previous visit to Wagga Wagga in 2012 but we were unsuccessful. Since then an additional hint was provided. So we returned today to take another look. After getting a rough location for GZ, we used the hint to look for the cache. We started from the bottom and worked our way up. After about 5 minutes we saw a flash of something familiar. Closer investigation revealed a well hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Roostaman for a challenging cache hunt. We can now cross it off our "to find" list.

16-Apr-16
Looked for a fair bit, sadly nothing. We did find a frog though Smile Twas adorable.

Out and about with BAB and KAT this was are last cache for the day. As soon as we saw GZ we knew it was going to be a bit of a search because of all the possible hiding spots. With heads down the search was on and after about 5 minutes those magic words of I Found it could be heard. TFTC

25-Oct-15
Found on a day flight from Canberra with StrangeTrousers as pilot to pick up the rest of the RGGT trail and some others in the vicinity. Not easy to spot it, especially in the searing heat. Glad Strangetrousers was here to pull out the heavy rock from in front of it! Was really feeling the heat by this point - needed to pull an ice brick from the esky to cool myself down. #1415 16 of 27 today.

Today B737 & I made a return trip to Wagga Wagga as we notice the RGGT trail had been maintained. I was behind the wheel this time with B737 as navigator. Jetfusalage stayed at home manning the playstation. We'd missed about 9 of the series last time & were keen to complete it. Today it was quite a bit warmer than our last trip & it was interesting to see how the scene had changed. This time it was much drier and we had our first experience of grass seeds in the socks for the summer. We really like Wagga Wagga. It's clearly a prosperous country centre with heaps of caches. But it's quite hard to plan a route around an unfamiliar town. We had a knack of seeking all the most difficult or missing caches and spending way too much time looking for them. We'll just have to come back I guess.

We had decided to head back out to the RGGT trail to pick up the 9 caches replaced since our last visit. I think I gave B737 a shock by my sudden dart across the road to grab this one. There were lots of possible places to hide here, so we spent about 5-10 mins looking for this one.

Thanks for the cache Roostaman.

12-Sep-15
Found it

Finally!! Thanks heaps Roostaman, it was a struggle, but awesome once we found it!! Found with farmer--brown, and left a pathtag (:

17-Aug-15
Finally Got my hands upon this one on the second attempt with a second set of eyes. We spent a good time literally crawling around the rocks and sticking hands in all sorts of weird places. Cheers roostaman for the extra help, otherwise we would have been looking in the wrong place for a while. Tftc indeed! Left a path tag (:

Woohoo decided to do one last cache for the day. Quick search and brilliant coordinates had us right onto it, just as Muggles arrived! Time to make out we are a romantic couple enjoying the lagoon view sitting amongst the rubbish bags .....it takes all sorts anyway the fi ally moved in with their fishing rods and we retrieved the cache signed and on our way for a well earned cold beer. Thanks for the cache Roostaman

A plan was struck with Boot65 to head down the highway from Canberra to collect the RGGT Trail as well as some extra's if we had the time. We had an extra seat in the car, so Rapidlywild joined in the trek. As we had finished the trail it was time to collect a few more around before heading to get some lunch. Quick grab, TFTC

Thanks Roostaman for the cache.

After driving to southern Sydney yesterday on a work trip I'm heading home via a couple of days in Wagga. Heaps of caches to find...

When I looked over the bank and saw all the rocks I said a few choice words then started looking anyway. Managed to stubmle across the container within about two minutes so was happy to sign, scan the nearby munzee, then keep moving.

Thank you for the cache Roostaman.
#2360th @ 1655hrs and 23rd of 23 for the day.

08-Oct-13
Nice hide!

06-Oct-13
Found with Rapidlywild during another one of our epic geomissions Smile

This one had us going for aaaages! When we rocked up (boom tish! lol) we both went "oh no!" lol. So then it was on with the hunt. We both looked here and there, inspecting and examining and poking and prodding. Where could this thing be?!! Apparently I was a monkey here jumping all around the rocks [:O)] (Yes well I would say I am the more agile member of this team-RW provides the power lol) We'd just sent the CO a text asking for a hint, where shortly after I managed to come up with the find anyway! [^] Signed log and replaced cache before jumping back into the geomobile to continue on.

Thanks, Roostaman! Smile

06-Oct-13
After a huge day yesterday collecting 88 caches in total, today we had a bit of a slower start. We didn't kick our caching off till close to midday today as I was fighting a horrible bronchitis cough and we decided to catch up on some much earned sleep.

Today we decided to hit a few of the multis in Wagga after picking up heaps of traditionals yesterday.

This one took a little longer than wanted!!! specimenX was in her prime jumping around like a monkey looking for the cache, in this weather, she also developed a sweat !

HAHAHA anywho, after just over 20 min looking with 2 sets of eyes, we were not getting anywhere so a text to the CO requesting additional hints was in order. Hint came back, very similar to posting hint however there was one bit of info that made it a little easier to position ourselves.

Within moments, specimenX came up with the goods. Damn she is good today!!!

Logging duties completed and cache returned.

Thanks for a nice locational cache the Roostaman Smile

As it was school holidays we made an overnight trip to Wagga with the Geokids and the Diamantina Stars to get some numbers up.

We pulled up at GZ and thought we would be in for a long search, until little So says to her sister 'what's under that?'. That turned a long search in to a nice quick one. TFTC

Given the rating we wondered it we would have enough time but on getting to the parking area we could see the T 3 was only short. While waiting for the GPSr to settle we looked down and thought there is a good spot for a cache and it was. (Some times you get lucky). We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

05-Feb-13
Found at 1:31 PM GAFF3. Gosh it got hot on that rocky slope [xx(]. We honed in on GZ but there were still a million hidey holes to search. Found a nice piece of 2x4 which we thought was the indicator, but it wasn't Sad. Turned out to be a small branch about 30 cm long!
Thanks Roostaman.
Feedback:
Co-ords are actually quite good!

Day 4 of our Wagga trip, a good morning of caching.
Thanks Roostaman is all I can say for recently checking on this cache.
I'm glad we were the lucky ones to come along next.
Took Tb it needed moving on.
Given a favourite point as we needed a 3.3 cache to complete another series.
Thanks Roostaman

Dropped in for a 'quick'check. Still there.
left a stick at the hidey entrance, if you are quick and beat the storm to it,
it might still be there as a clue.

0040 - 0140 Am sure I checked each accessible spot at least twice, and no sign of anything that size! Any chance of a cache check.

(sing) Like tryin' to find a needle in a haystack, yeah, yeah.

No joy for us today, 3 sets of eyes looking for a 1l container. We figured 'how hard can it be?', it turns out very hard indeed.
Have to try again another day.
Thanks for the search Roostaman.

26-Jun-12
#766 found during another rush of a day in and out of town and at least this time I picked the right rock to look under after being here before and having no joy at the prize it was nice to see that the prize had been replaced recently and I knew definately that I was going to score a hit this time.

Thanks for another off you list Roostaman and look forward to a few more now that I am getting the hang of them.

I spent 45 minutes looking for this, could not find it. Is this one still here roostaman as I want to go back and look for it. I was thinking like a cacher and could not find this one.

20-Sep-11
2nd attempt at this one and now with a real gps. So many spots to look within a 1mt radius

25-Aug-11
This one definitely wasn't as painful as it could be - for example, it could be a micro Twisted. Eventually found after about 10 minutes while doing a systematic search of the likely spots. Nice overview of the lagoon. Left a GC, took the TB to move on.

25-Aug-11
Found with o'cholio. TFTC

How horrible can a person be. A million places, and a million spiderwebs covering each place that it could possibly be. Spent ages looking for it, checked the hint, and still nothing. Fed up I decided to move on. Went to pick up my GPS from where I let it sit and detect it's position better when something looked odd. Sure enough it was the cache. After doing a precarious jig I signed the log and went back to the car just as a truck pulled up at the spot.
