This was a nice quick find on the way down from trig hunting at the summit. All found in good order, signed and replaced. Thanks for the cache!
Was in the second place I looked but since the area was so stunning I still wondered around for another 20 mins. Favourite for sure. Tftc tnln
I do love a rocky granite outcrop to play in. Missed the decent place to park on the way to the summit so did it on the way back down. I walked over the correct rock to lift before looking in the wrong places. Came back and had another think and found the cache. Tftc and fav awarded.
We walked from the lookout to iron monsters at the top of the hilllovely views to the west. We stopped on the way back down and I bashed through the sticks and tripped over the beautiful rocks. Which rock to move? So many!!! With the GPS settling I picked a lovely looking piece of granite and revealed was the black box. Signed the log left a sticker and a shell from Woolgoolga. Thanks for bothering to put this cache in beautiful place.

Found on the way back down from the lookout.
A little hunting amongst the rocks but a nice find.

Heading north we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them while staying in the Kempsey.area.
As we went up to the lookout we parked near this cache and decided to look for it. This took some time as we searched under may rocks in the area and finally Mr "T" found the cache. Co-ords are good, but ground cover made the find difficult. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thank sopted-out user for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

I had ridden past here a couple times on my MTB but didn't have the enthusiasm to have a geocaching break. Today I drove up to give it a good go.
Hunted all around in quite a large area, but also came up empty. Went through the activity and found a photo from 2017 showing a kid holding a small black sistema. Worked out where the photo was taken from and spent more time around there.
You wouldn't expect it to be muggled - all I can assume it is covered by ~2 years of leaves and I just didn't ever manage to check the right spot.

Only could look for 15 minutes, screaming kids in the car with my husband. I was so close according to the map but I couldn’t seem to find the tree roots ! Won’t be back for a while we are on holiday, try again in 10 years.
No luck - we were rushing a bit though, as storm clouds were coming in, and all I could picture were the causeways we crossed on the way in..... and there was a trig to find at the top yet!
After coming up the mountain to find the virtual cache we continued on to find this one. A bit further in than 10m and no longer in a white container, but didn’t take the geokids long to hone in on it! TFTC

Saturday. After collecting a virtual down the road, Nyssa said that there was a really old cache we should collect as it was on the road we were heading on. Fantastic! Lets grab it. Pulled into a small parking spot and headed off into the bush. All the recent rains across the Eastern Side of Aus has certainly created a wealth of mozzies. We were covered. Luckily we found the cache quite quickly even though I didn’t have reception. Nyssa was on the ball though and we soon had the log signed and we ran back to the car. Great to collect a really old cache which seems to have lots of continued finds which is great.
This was the 9th of 24 caches found on this outing.
Thanks **opted-out user** for bringing us here

Heading south with Mrs Slow Puncture picking up a cache or two along the way. After visiting the virtual cache we made our way to the lookout to take a few photos and enjoy the view. On the way back down the track we stopped off here to create another smiley.
At GZ it didn’t take long for Mrs SP to uncover the container. We left our marks and replaced the beasty as it had been found. Great to see this older cache is still in play.

Almost forgot to log it! After me and my backpacking travel buddies drove up to the lookout, we were a little disappointed (as we had seen many more beautiful lookouts before). Luckily there was this GC to make the drive worthwhile

For future finders, it is way more then 10 metres from the road and it is a small, black container.

Quick find. Container size was not what I expected I would say this is a small size. GPS right on. Dropped trackable. TFTC
GPS coordinates spot on. But certainly more than 10m off the road. Nice spot. TFTC.

Another perfect Autumn day for a trek around the Point for a few more caches.
Not many muggles around today and a few more good safe hides.
When I saw who owned this one, I just had to go for it.
Luckily it was a quick find but you could walk past it if not looking carefully.
And yes, it's not a bucket any more, so the description need an update Mr Router !!!!!!
Fav point added for the location and hide too.
Thanks for the cache Scenic Routers,

Had been for a drive to the lookout and while boiling up the water for a cuppa decided to check and see if there was a nearby cache. Backtracked down the road and found a convenient lay by with a defined track. After about a 10m diversion off the track found the cache in good condition. Rescued a TB to send on to a new location. Now off to enjoy a bit of 4wd action on some of the side roads. TFTC
A bit further and trickier than expected, other logs helped. Geokid 3 took a very battered looking bobble-headed unicorn with glee. Left some stickers, a watermelon eraser and a tracks le we’ve been holding for too long!
Day 3 camped at Stuarts Point.
Today was the day we decide to go up Yarrahapinni Mountain, to find a cache that has been here since we started caching & as added insentive a new virtual cache that had recently been published.
This was a wonderful drive through the rainforest, reminded hubby of his NZ bush.
We had read a few logs so knew that the container was no longer a bucket, found a nice run off to park our car then followed the trail towards the cache. Tried a few likely spots amongst the rocks before we spotted something that may hide a cache of the size now mentioned.
So pleased to have this one crossed off our list.

Quick find on the way down from the lookout. Spectacular views from the top and a lovely drive through diverse forest, well worth the visit. Thanks for the cache
Out and about on a spotlighting nite adventure with my friends from Yarrahapinni ecology centre looking for Trapdoor spiders other mini beasts and nocturnal creatures.found the cache and then headed down the mountain.
TFTC, been meaning to do this one for a while, a nice drive up here. Take no notice of the cache notes, it's a small black cistena container not a white bucket, also it is 40 metres from the road, not 10 metres and is about 20 metres off the walking trail.
Passed some really nice properties on the way to this cache. The rollovers are huge, bit like riding a roller coaster. Nice hide Thank you for placing this cache.
Went with relos on way back from lookout found plenty of likely places lots of confusion no cache
Found in the company of some non geocaching relatives. Kids enjoyed the hunt. Tftc
Awesome excuse to get geokids out of the car and into the bush, beautiful spot. Tftc. Took TB, now to work out exactly what to do with it!
Found It - [^] - Loved the drive, loved the picnic area & what a view, well worth the trip - - TFTC
We did it!!! Found our first fifty caches. And what a beautiful spot to celebrate it too. Thank you for bringing us here Scenic Routers.
Geokid9 made the find, pretty quickly too. Well done buddy.
To commemorate our 50th Find we have activated TB 50 Cache Bug and he is now resting here on Yarrahappinni Mountain awaiting his next journey.
TFTC, Took Smiley, Left TB, SL.
Happy, safe caching everyone.

Had this one on the radar for quite some time now and finally made the journey up the mountain after a couple of nice finds along the Grassy Head Road. Our poor old geo-commodore made it up to the top - spectacular views, well worth the effort. Finally found the cache on the way down, the big trees made the satellite signals a bit jumpy but was determined not to give up!! Good hide, left small button, TFTC.
Some 7 years ago a few of our leaders were able to find this one. (There was another on up here as well in those days). Nice to find a reasonable size container. TNLN

While just down the track for the weekend We were able to get on up and check the potential for a few more caches in the future. Will have to see if the National Parks are willing to have some in there zone, otherwise will try the State Forest. Even tho Cookie had found it years ago it seemed that Browngang had recently been along and replaced the cache.

Thanks for a very scenic drive, and for some great coordinates.
I loved the change of scenery as you progressed up the road.
Fav from me Scenic Routers. This is what draws me to caching!
It's also worth continuing on to the lookout.

Went for a drive while in the area on holidays, enjoyed the view for the nearby lookout and found it on the way back out. #106. TFTC.
Found my 1st cache, ably assisted by Wyde, Scrump and her Geokids. Sooo excited. Used my new trekking stick to sift through the rocks and leaves to avoid any nasty critters that may be living underneath. Amazing view from the top. Access to the site is not restricted to the 4 wheel drive as we managed to make it up in our Honda Civic sports car. Im hooked!!
Took my niece "Scrump" and her kidz Jack, Matilda and Harry (locals) on their first Geocaching adventure up Mt Yarrahapinni. Nice picnic area with splendid views from the lookout to the SE and from the top to the S.
Got to GZ with the kids scrambling in a random search pattern. Matilda came up with the goods and was thrilled to be able to keep a guitar plectrum with a wizard on it. In exchange we left a packet of red fish hooks. NB...The cache is a well sealed green butter box, not a white bucket !!!
Thanks for finally getting me up Mt Yarrahapinni, "Scenic routers". I've driven past so many times and always thought that I must go up and have a look from the top.

Found with BRIGHTSPARK88, didn't have username at the time. And of course I didn't wear the right shoes... So he had to do all the trekking along the mountainside, was really nice view up the top of the mountain nearby overlooking grassy head. TFTC
Had gotten dark by the time we attempted this one..luckily the co-ords were spot on so we were led straight to it...Thanks Scenic routers!
Did this one in the dark, pleased the co-ords were so accurate...TFTC Scenic Routers
Found By Cache Kid Christopher. Took the opportunity to do some 4x4ing to get to this location makes for a better find.PLEASE NOTE While we found this quite easily it is not a white bucket it is a small black container.
This one of my favorite places. Saw a few mountain bike trails close to the cache. TFTC Scenic routers

We found the burnt out remainders of a geocache here today. With a bushfire here within the last month or so. We found 2 log book springs and a bit of burnt plastic. Emailed the owner a photo to claim a find as we replaced the cache and log book for the caches future fun.
We found this after going on up to the lookout and tower....Absolutley spectacular. Well worth the extra 2 minutes drive.

We were driving past today on he highway and saw the very familiar name of this cache owner. This cache is certainly a long way from home! We wanted to visit, but the itinerary just wouldn't allow it .
We'll be back . . . someday!

I was working on top of the mountain this morning in the cloud for an hour or two and had the whole place to my self in the cloud. We have been meaning to head back up Yarrahapinni for the last few years but have usually run out of time on the last couple of north coast trips. Took a bit of searching before the cache was found as the GPS was swinging 180 degrees at about 30m out from GZ. Cache contents and log book remain in good condition. Many thanks Scenic routers.
This was our 4082nd overall find.
Found at about 2:37 PM. A nice drive up to the lookout, a nice quick find. It was the drive out that got a bit more interesting as I continued up the road to get back to the highway, eventually coming out at Brushbox Rd. The last time I was in Yarrahappini was a year 5 school excursion!
Thanks to Scenic routers for the cache, I certainly didn't plan on finding one of yours up here!

Description said 10 meters off the road. More like 20-30 meters but the coordinates were fairly good so finding the cache was no problem. We continued up to the lookout although there was thundering rumbling in the distance.
