Logs
The owner hasn't logged in since 2005, a bunch of DNFs and, from the last log, the cache is muggled and the log book missing.
Well, I found part of it. I had to sign the bag of this clearly muggled cache. Owner should check asap. Thanks - ds-fifty from Adelaide Hills.
At first we thought the steepness was in reference to the drive off the main road to the parking area near water. When we got to GZ we realised we were going to be doing the mountain goat thing! We slipped and slid all over that slope, even hanging on to the branches of the pines for support. After a half hour of searching and calling in the geo pooch for assistance, we had to give it up. If it is still there, is is extremely well camo'd.
We look far and wide to try and find this cache but had no luck. Think someone has muggled it cos found something that should have been in the box but no box to found.
As we arrived at location found bits and pieces broken on road/path, tried to look for it and could not find it. Not sure if it has been muggled. Needs to be checked.
Found it exposed, and water has got into the container. The pad needs to be replaced, didn't have one on hand

After reading previous logs for this cache we noticed that people were saying "its easier to go from the bottom not from the top". so we did . made finding the cache easier

Found this easily. Lucky these mountain goats had their 4WD boots on. Alot easier to come at it from below, not above!
Very unsafe ground, but found it without too many problems. Parking can be an issue though.
Took motorbike, left tea pot.

This was listed as a 'must do' by collinsmob, and Mr collinsmob insisted he be there to watch. So Mr matmob and Mr collinsmob set themselves up comfortably up top to watch the action, while Mrs matmob and geokid headed off with the GPSr. This marvellous piece of equipment told me the cache was in the wrong tree, so to the onlookers glee, I slipped and bashed and crashed and bruised my hip and goodness knows what else towards the wrong spot! (From the bottom) Meanwhile, the geokid had checked out the tree next door and quietly located it! Anyway, we found a pink stubbie holder which fits the GPSr perfectly!, so took that and left a pewter bookmark. TFTC (Why am I saying that as I nurse my injuries!!)
I got in trouble for making the brat boys climb this one from the wrong way, but der!, what goes up must come down (one way or another)! - TFTC
Drove straight past the carpark area, spun around and started hunting. Good fun coming down from GZ! Cheers TNLN
This one is rightly named, truly in a slippery place, took nothing left nothing, the cache needs a new pen.
Found this one no problems in a big weekend of "Geobagging".

The geo-scree-trail sort of told me where to go. It was still a fight with the tree to get the cache though. Fun stuff. Thanks guys.
GPS was some distance off target (cords were entered correct)
Few clues in description helped.
Most difficulty I had was avoiding the heaps of muggles walking around / past

Told the kidz to stay in the car and approached from the top and contoured over to it. Still lost some skin off the elbows but it was enjoyable all the same. Was hidden well from view of the muggles below as I signed the log. Contents a bit wet too from memory.

Even a mountain goat would have trouble with this. A lot of evidence of previous visits as the area in front is quite rock free from the skidding.

Sorry Mr Walker, but I have just returned to Port Lincoln to find a new cache listed and I just had to get out there and be first to find it. The peninsula is becoming very active with cachers and it is great to see so many new caches placed over the last few months. Have to plan a couple of cache days. Swapped out soap and added a note clip and a car. This area is a great picnic spot in the warmer weather. Thanks for the cache.

Yes you must have just got there before me. I had been over on the Yorke Pen and in Adelaide cache hunting with mixed success, and as soon as I saw this one I raced down to Lincoln. I made the mistake with this one of working from the top down. Very tricky I think it will soon get a lot easier to find as it is impossible to get to without leaving considerable trace evidence. TNLNSL Nice to have another local cache.
