(3 of 4 today)After some finds today, so headed up to the Blue Mountains. I've had my eye on **Riblit's** T5, *Looking Out The Back Door* for a long time, so decided to take a walk, and collect three others on the way. Unfortunately with one I just couldn't see ca way to GZ, so once back at the car I looked around for a Park & Grab. Spotted one to finish the afternoon.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Well, to an internal CCR soundtrack, I continued from my last find to here. Once at GZ enjoyed the view - no elephants or magicians I noted. But I could see the highway. Now for the search. Made an assumption and following the app came to a likely spot. Nope. Hmmm. But what about that spot there? Gotcha!Big sigh as I completed signing duties, replaced and took in more view. Just lookin' you understand. Now for the walk back. This gets a favourite for the history, the spot and the lack of elephants.SLTNLNTFTC

Walked out through the Florabella Pass collection of 5 other caches while en route to here. Sounds of a whip bird, into a car alarm then into a magpie informing me of a lyre bird nearby. Didnt go up top at all as tree growth has engulfed any views from where I approached from.Container is in good condition, a rather straight forward find, thanks Riblit

A hot but nice and simple walk along the Firetrail for an easy find at GZ after a short scramble. Nice one thank you, that makes four from four along this little pocket

Another easy cache in a great little part of the mountains. tftc

16-Jul-21
Decided to head out to Green Point lookout at the end of Green's Road to get out of the house and enjoy a walk. Was a wonderful morning for a walk - the sun was shining & it certainly helped with stunning scenery. I even found an unlisted cache there too as a bonus.

On the way back I decided to take the other path out for the powerlines access just to keep enjoying the morning walk. I was actually going to pick up some GCA caches, when I checked the geocaching app and this was nearby!

Quite straightforward walk to get to really via the firetrails, and it was a stunning place to look out and enjoy the morning. Realised when reading the log book that its quite an old school cache, but still in great condition.

Walked in from the end of Greens Road in Warrimoo. It was humid as anything so was a tough walk, plus running into all the spider webs every few metres. It was an excellent walk though. TFTC

I'm enabling this cache as the COVID-19 situation has improved and the state government is allowing people to travel within their region for recreation.

Don't forget to be mindful of social distancing and remember you probably don't know who last touched the container and contents. Sanitise your hands after touching the cache and contents.

Be Safe.

30-Mar-20
I have disabled this cache while the COVID-19 pandemic makes it unsafe to undertake unnecessary travel.

Please do not attempt to find this cache. Any contenders for the Darwin award will find their logs deleted.

Walked up from Florabella Pass track. Was about 120 metres up from the track. Cache all good. Tftc

30-Jun-19
Parked at the Warrimoo public school on Florabeloa Street and walked down the track, across the creek and upwards. Then with 126m to GZ found a marked track which lead almost to GZ. 2easy. Only 30 minutes from the car at our slow senior pace. TFTC

Cache find No. 2727
Streak Day: 1025

Headed out today to do some caching in the lower Blue Mountains with Snoopy1976.

Found this one once at the appropriate level. TFTC

15-Jul-18
Tftc - we started the pass walk to collect the caches along the way. Checking out the map we saw how close this one was (even if it was straight up the cliff line) and couldn’t resist. Bush bashed up and found cache AOK. Heading back down we were lucky enough to find some tape on the tree and followed it back to the original track.

It's a perfect day for geocaching .. in the bush !!!
For this one we started at the end of Florabelle St, took the small track. The last 150m was straight in the bush.
We found it fairly quickly maybe a bit lucky !

Out with Team Merlin and phlphotos to collect a few caches for the day.
Locating this cache took a bit with a significant slope. After all signing the log we replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition.

With our target cache for this afternoon being this particular cache, we meet up with JJCC and phlphotos and parked at the end of Florabella Street as we had decided to take the alternate approach. Reminded us all of the a cache called Stretch Your Legs I: Halfway up Vincent up at Mount Vincent.

After finding the nearby cache Florabella Pass we back tracked to 160 metres from GZ and bush bashed up to the top. Once at GZ the cache container was located in the second spot we looked. After all signing the log we replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Our descent back down was a little harder as the gradient was a lot steeper and a little slipper with the leaf litter...we eventually hit the track at 130 metres from GZ...and then all was needed was the walk back up to the car.

The following TBs came through for the mileage: Bob geoMinion, Dave geoMinion, Evil geoMinion, Jerry geoMinion, Larry geoMinion, Stuart geoMinion, teamMerlin's 7 Deadly Ducks Tag (Lust), The Hulk & Vanlith The Youngling.

Worthy of a favourite point for the adventure - TFTC Riblit

Not found with BillHill531 and my eldest, while on a somewhat impromptu camping trip to the blue mountains to find some scenic adventures and a very rare placed month. Lots of high terrain caches and fun to match.
We went to the gate. but it was locked and we did not have time to walk it. I think we will be back, but better prepared.

This was my sixth find today. I almost didnt attempt it as i was going to trust the description and the OSM map which both suggest that this cache is only accessible from the long trails to the west. Well I found a way up the cliffs that didn't involve any overly sketchy manoeuvres but certainly the terrain was not easy. Excellent spot for a cache, thanks for placing this one. Greetings from Canada

I approached this from florabella pass.i was stuffed after the climb up to GZ and rested for a much deserved break.
I first learnt how to drive on these top trails.
Very smokey here today with the back burning.
Thanks for bringing me back here riblit after all these years

Find #438 at 17:22.
In need of a 5 star and time running out I decided to tackle this one. After speaking with JoeGleeson_25 at lunch he advised against walking in from Florabella Pass Loop walking track, I decided to defy his advise and do it anyway! Things were against me from the start, got out of work late so the sun was beginning to get down. It was a short walk down the creek, then luckily I had a quick path to the top of the ridge coming out about 40m from the GZ (it seems I took the same path as a previous finder). It was a nice and quick find, signed the log and replaced before heading back. I followed the same path back down the creek before popping out on the track and scaring a runner. All up only took an hour and managed to get back without needing to pull out the torch. Fantastic spot and a good afternoons adventure to end the geo-tour for the month. +1 fav.
Thanks for the cache Riblit.

An awful wakeup request for a lift this morning, long before I had much sleep, I found myself up in the mountains. After a good breakfast and a cup of life (coffee ) I was ready for a cache. This one seemed like a good one to go for.
After a short call to the owner of the start of the track, I was on my way. If not for the gate, i believe my commodore would have loved this track. It's been down worse.
Soon enough gz approached and the cache found. A quick turn about and I was marching back up the trail.
Thanks for the cache.

What a great day out in my "back yard." You know that any high terrain rating is immediately halved when I find it! I think groundspeak have me registered as geocaching's most fearful player! Heights make me weep.
A good walk out and back with Phlphotos. The sign at the car park asks people to call for permission to travel into this area that is now private property. I think I read comments somewhere that this might be rubbish, or just to ignore the sign...and we were going to, but I decided to call. On the other end of the line a very friendly fellow who said, "Not a problem. We're not there this weekend anyway." It made us think that they might be more concerned about running down bushwalkers on the trail.
The container is getting a bit full of THINGS. There's a beach ball ready to be swapped...hopefully for something much smaller.

#377 met up with alnic39 at the start of the 4WD track we decided to ring up the number provided at the start and were advised that it would be OK to walk into the area. So off we headed the second stop of 3 was this one. (the final was a GCA) followed the 4WD track till we reached the end, not much further to go so we worked our way down to the correct level. Al was in front and as I went to what looked like a good hide Al went to another and he made the find straight away. We signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache

Headed down Florabella Pass and once at the bottom found a way across the creek and started going up. Fortunately, reception was good, so it was just a matter of following the needle while working my way around the rocky outcrops. Soon made it to GZ, and after a short while the cache was found. Caching duties done, it was time to head back down the hill, then back up those stairs. TNLNSL TFTC

We had initial planned to come in via the fire trail but ended up in the pass first to collect some other caches so on summing up the terrain decided to see how close the valley track got which turned out to be about 130m so up we went to looking out the back door. A few small drops to navigate around and was soon near GZ. While the fire had been through the area given the amount of rocks there was not a lot burnt material and rocks did not appear impacted at all. We searched a few spots until we found the nicely positioned hide. Despite being plastic it shows no sign of the fires and it in good condition. We picked up a travel bug, appropriately themed about hating nanos. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.

One or more of the following has occurred:

No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future, just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it still meets the current

guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

TFTC! Bush bashed in a strait line coming from "Florabella Forest"... I feel that this cache well earned its high difficulty rating on terrain. Great hide as well! I felt lucky to nab this one as I was using my iPhone and had minimal reception

Found early this morning whilst out on the calendar gap chase cache which brought me back to Warrimoo.

There are a few higher DT around here that I haven't done and it was great to chase some of the more higher ratings today. The weather was perfect for bushwalking and for caching today. Gotta love being out in the bush. The walk in was great and arriving at the GZ, I looked up and had a good idea of where to climb and look. The coords and hint were excellent. I soon had the cache in hand for signing duties. I signed and replaced it exactly as I found it. The cache is in great nick and the log was dry.

It was a great day for finding another cache down the in the bush:) Thanks Riblit for your cache. SL TNLN TFTC

Found at 4:32pm with JordsAU.

A HUGE day in the Blue Mountains with JordsAU, AMobious and CJ. We left CJ and AMobious to carry on their way after a successful hunt for the 'Fallen Giant' cache not far away from here.

It was becoming dark rapidly so we needed to move quick when going in for this one and deem it as our final cache for the day. We had to wind our way through the dirt walking track for the first 20 minutes or so before we headed straight through the bush to reach GZ.

We in fact ran a lot of the way which allowed us more light when searching. At GZ we came up with the chocolates within a few minutes. I love all of the overhangs and caves which inhabit this sort of bushy terrain.

As the sun began to disappear on us, we wasted no time in getting back to the car. We ran hard and made it back in good time. Coming in was much easier as it was downhill Smile

A great adventure!

Having the offer of a lift south (west) meant I was able to get a few caches I normally wouldn't be able to get to. Well, about a week later than finding this cache I'm walking and sliding on my b.. on a much worse track / 'road' for a cache rated T3½. But maybe if you can't even get a 4WD down the road it can't be included as an attribute!
All good with the cache. Saw the TB being dropped off
Took nothing, but did replace a ziploc bag.

0730 GAFF1 While the gully seemed to have a lot of extra fallen timber from last nights wind storm it wasn't so bad up here. Surprised that we saw a 'one-wheel drive' track out most of the way! A pleasant walk out to a part of the Blue Mountains I had never been to before. (I now 'understand' how some other caches have a higher Terrain rating). Soon found the well covered cache with the good coordinates, and left a Correct Site Marker - surgical marking pen.

For my birthday, I got an unusual present - a day off all to myself to do Geocaching. With some planning, I set up a course of high terrain and high difficulty caches in the Blue Mountains.

Switched from two-wheel engine drive, to two-wheel leg drive, and rode along the track. Before too long, I was in the vicinty. A short cross country trip later, I found the cache in one of my favourite kinds of hiding spots.

After logging Florabella Forest which isn't too far from here, I decided to make the trek to this one. I think after completing this journey I took the 5star terrain. Although achievable, I would advise against it.

Living locally, I have been out on this ridge many times over the last 20 years but never stumbled into this semi secluded area. And that is why I geocache!

The cache is hidden excellently and still in great condition.

Thanks for the Cache!

A bit smoky in the mountains today with the hazard reduction burns going on, but fortunately the wind was blowing away from us, so we could see the smoke, but it wasn't near us!
Enjoyed the walk out here.... it was pretty easy. Found GZ and cache in good condition. SL. TFTC. Another August souvenir!

01-Jun-13
Walked in from Greens Road, with a pause to capture Views3-36 Warrimoo. Through the locked gate and along the firetrail that was in good condition (for walking). To the pylon, and the Garmin indicating a tad more 'walking' would be required. A couple of false starts ... and then a slow, cautious track across the rocks. A one point a backside slide down a rockface (when did this ever seem a good idea?) to a empty hollow. Too tight lipped to express what was thought, there was then the undignified reverse up (that is likely the only advantage of a lone Cache hunt). A further move across rocks, then a clamber down and head poke here and there ... and there, goodness, there the Cache sat snug.

An overcast day that thankfully left the GZ dry, a solid challenge for whitemushroom and Looking out the Backdoor well earns awarding a Favourite. Cache is packed, but TNLNSL. TFTC SmileSmile

After completing the Florabella Forest cache nearby I decided to tackle this one as well. Found a track that goes up the slope from the creek crossing. Once at a cerrtain point up the track I left it and made it to top of the plateau within 40 metres. Then it was an easy cross to the area of the power lines. I found the cache in the second place I looked. I was content with my second find for the day as I had managed to find my two closest unfound caches. Then came the steep walk back to the car up the FLorabella Pass. TFTC.

After a night of camping at Euroka Clearing we were heading further into the mountains for a day's caching but unfortunately there'd been a very nasty car accident on the highway and subsequently traffic was at a stand still.

Fortunately for us, this great hobby of ours meant that we could pretty much pull off just about anywhere and find something to do! So we turned off and headed to the nearby start of the firetrail to this cache. What a great spot. We had a really enjoyable walk and by the time we got back, the roads were clear again!

Thanks,

For more than a year now I've postponed logging two Riblit caches near Warrimoo in the Blue Mountains. Today rogerw3 agreed to accompany me, and we set off from the end of Greens Road -- past his 'Warimoo VIEW 3-36' -- and down the fire trail. It was a great day for a walk, cool and sunny, and we had a great outing.

This old-timer was located just about where I suspected it would be hiding, underneath the power lines, not far from the unmistakable pylon. There's a very rough trail of sorts from the end of the track, but maybe it's an easy bush bash, and then you'll have to descent a tiny bit, but it's really quite easy -- and the container is located in a clever spot that should keep it nice and dry forever!

All was in good order. TNLNSL. I think rogerw3 left one of his pathtags.

Lots fun to find a dinkum old-fashioned geocache in a beautiful place.

Many thanks again to Riblit.

I skipped the gym this morning so I would be nice and fresh to tackle this after work but as it turned out this was a lot easier than I thought it would be. The track in from Greens Road is definitely not suitable for a 2wd but apart from 2 small steep sections it is pretty flat. I think this could be rated as a 3 star without too many people complaining.

Anyway the view was nice and I appreciated the pointer to the nearby GCA cache. I was looking on the "nearby caches" list on my iPad on the way in ( did I say I don't think the terrain was that hard?) and noticed what looked like an obvious gap in the topo map so it was funny to see the GCA cache pop up there.

Anyway thanks for the hide riblit! Tnlnsl.

Sure was terrain of 5 for me as I came from Blaxland Cub Trail GC2KEGM as my starting point and scrub bashed down and up gullies and rock outcrops and the final hill. Total scrub bash distance (not on any track) was about 400m, but I still enjoyed it very much. Even the rain didn't dampen my spirit as it started as I was writing the log, so it was only thh 50min return trip that would be wet. Thoughly enjoyed the struggle in some of Australia's best landscape. Took nil and left a blow-up Australian beach ball. (not very suitable for the blue mountains I know, but who cares). Cache still in excellent condition and quite full. TFTC Riblit.

Did this one while conquering the Florabella Pass walks thinking they were in a similar spot.....this meant that we had to bush bash up the ridge to get to it.....still probably not a 5 but we were definitely sweating when we got there. Great spot and great views. Thanks Riblit for the cache.

Found this one with Wackydo. We thought we'd be smart and knock it over with the 2 Caches on Florabella Pass. Quickly realised that a big bushbash up a big hill was needed from Florabella Pass. We thought "what the heck" and took off up the hill. After plenty of scratches and spiderwebs we ended up stumbling onto the tower. Had the GPS off to conserve battery but realised we must have been close. GPS on and quickly onto the cache. Definitely a beautiful area for a day out Caching. Thanks Riblit. TNLN

Change of plans as I was going to borrow my old man's mountain bike and complete this cache (and the GCA cache nearby) but tyres were flat, and couldn't find the pump either, so a hike was needed today to find this one. Got to the tower to find I'm 50 odd meters away from GZ. I continued into the scrub bush bashing following the GPS but for some reason, continued to say 50 metres. I bush bash to a cliff line a fair bit lower to find the GPS saying 40 metres over the cliff. I knew then something not right and that tower looks a fair way back now. I stopped for a bit and let the gps develop a better lock for GZ. After a while, It fixed its self up and put me back up near the tower which made more sense. Finally getting to GZ and a quick search to find the cache. Great hide, and great view. Sure its a view many see, but not from this side of the gully. Took otter, left drummer guy (which I'd pick up the previous day below at Florabella Pass). A very good geocache, well done. TFTC

This was my second cache for today after starting my adventure fro Valley Heights and going through to Blaxland. A really nice walk out along the firetrail from the previous cache, there were loads of spring bushflowers all along the way. Arrived at GZ and a short search located the cache in a cleverly hidden spot. See that it has been a couple of months since the last visit and all is in good order. Had no swaps so only signed the log. Now for the next stage of my walk by going down the slope to join the track below and onto Blaxland. A great day's walk.

This one can almost be seen outside my backdoor also, but I have put off doing it for some time because the logs seemed to indicate some difficulty. In the end I had some spare time so I headed out on the MTB and got it (with Views3-36) without too much difficulty. That is not to say the MTB ride did not have its challenges. It's unusual to see this different perspective of valley I know well. Took coin and will send it on its way. TFTC

I've been slowly doing the mountain caches around my area, but I'll admit I've left this one until now given the five star rating on the terrain. But today we were landlocked due to the Springwood Foundation Day celebration (our street has been closed) so I got the MTB out and decided to ride down and get this one. Must say I was pleasantly surprised. Given the owner's notes he seems to feel it doesn't deserve a five rating and nor do I. Lost World was far more difficult and longer. From the end of Green Road out to the end of the 4WD track is only 2 kilometres. Sure there's some steep sections in the middle, but other than that, this is a good ride (or walk) out to the cache. This was a side of the suburban jungle I haven't seen before.
If you haven't done this cache or VIEW3-36 Warrimoo by Rogerw3 I'd recommend it because they can both be done together, although I did the Rogerw3 cache a few weeks ago. I found myself looking around for a few minutes, a bit puzzled on this one, but that was only because of my preconceived ideas about the type of hide I was looking for. A clever hide. TFTC

About the terrain, there are a couple of ways to reach this cache, my note of Dec 22 2008 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=0cdba492-36f8-434d-a097-2f86598f9847 alluded to the other route and a bit earlier, in 2007 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=6e904265-87bb-4462-af11-1af93f691c98 ruffasgutts4x4 mentioned he tried it.

The terrain does vary, depending on the route chosen.

Another great cache, lovely walk from Warrimoo station.

Please note that there is now a locked gate at the limit of the national park, so all mode of motorized transport are no longer possible, feet and MTB are still OK.

Got to GZ with no trouble, but as I have a habit of missing the obvious it took me a while to locate the cache!

Signed log, left Yowie and 2x Sydney Olympic pins. I removed the batteries before they started leaking all over the place.

Thanks Riblit, I would not have come here otherwise, loved it.

17-Feb-10
I drove in as far as the gate on Greens road, before I got out the MTB. The track looked like it would be much more fun on a bike than using a front wheel drive 2x!
I walked a few uphills, before the great little ride out to the cache site, then it was off on a short walk to GZ.
The cache was soon in my hands, the view was great, pity about the constant truck and car noise from the nearby highway though.
The ride back was fun, thanks for the all the fun I had finding it, RS.

Unfortunately I ran out of light to find this after a quick search in darkness. I shall return.

Although it was a rainy day, it was pleasant to get out and find this cache. Dropped off the travel bug 493172 (Flying Travel Bug). Hope it will enjoy the different scenery.

Definitely terrain 5 if you walk in from the opposite side of the river, took CB's '07 BCGA Travl'n Coin TFTC

Had an easy walk out and no trouble finding cache

Logging in the British Columbia Geocaching Association 2007 Geocoin.

27-Dec-08
After difficulties at the other two caches nearby, this one turned out to be nice and easy. And that is a good thing. No swap was made, but I did leave a British Columbia Geocaching Association 2007 coin. Thanks for the walk, and for the cache.

22-Dec-08
It is possible to reach the cache without crossing National Park land.

Went to pickup out cache out this way and NP's have now gated this track right near Pockmarked and it is now a long walk or MTB ride.

28-May-08
The track wasn't as bad as I was expecting.

Well enjoyed the drive out here only the ute could only get as close as 500m from GZ, so a short jog down and back with the sound of thunder and darkening clouds overhead.
JABs.

We came for a bit of a drive around here an lo and behold, a cache.
Wish I had as good a view from my backdoor.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks Riblit, great views.

Yay! Thanks Riblit. An easy to find cache. Very Happy
My first find too!

It took me 3 attempts, and 3 days. The first attempt had me losing GPS reception down in Florabella pass, on a day with lots of cloud cover. The 2nd attempt ending in me reversing my car into a tree when I decided that hill was too steep. Half way down. Sad
Then I just took the lovely MeerKat with me the third time, and we used our feet to get there. Really couldn't have been too much easier to find.

Hey, some people really should keep their doors closed...back door was wide open and I looked straight through the house and what was going on in there...well another time maybe!

Two caches left for the 1000 and possibly my last couple of hours for the year. This needed 2 quick but memorable caches. A secluded bushland setting that I could drive to? Perfect. A nice way to bring up 999.

Was surprised this is a terrian 5. I apprached this from the west and found it one of the easier Blue Mtns caches. Having said that I really enjoyed it. Also learnt from Ruffasgutts mistake. TNLN.

First cache I've done in a long while. I was walking Florabella Pass and noticed it was near so took a detour. Probably a lot easier to come at this one from the west but found it fairly easily none the less. The view is nice... if you don't mind power stations!

I was finished work early for the day and was in an area a little way from home, what to do? Go caching of cause! I honed the GPS in on a cache and off I went, unfortunately the cache I was searching for became further and further away I don't know what the satnav was thinking but I ended up quite a ways from where I wanted to be. Not to worry I'll find the closest thing and go after that. I parked the car at the top of an extremely steep path way. Looking down it did not even look like a pathway really, I hesitated and then decided there must be another way in! I started my way back to the car when I noted a neighbour stick her nose out to see what her dog was barking at! I pulled her up and asked is this a bush walking track oh yes she said it's a bit hard to see at the beginning but it gets better! Right! how long to reach the bottom? - oh about ten minutes but you'll need to be pretty fit to make it up in that time, she said. Off I went reaching the base in well under ten minutes, across the creek and up the other side! The track meanders along for a while and I took in all the sights the mountains have to offer before I noticed the GZ was getting further away! No No No! this won't do I'm not walking any more! Totally under prepared for what was in front of me, no water, not really the right clothing either but still I struggled on, deciding stuff it, it's bush bashing time. Thankfully the bush was thin and there is only the odd grass tree or gum to negotiate, not to mention the ever inclining hill and the final rock faces. I reached GZ and then thought hmmmm it's time to pull out the PDA and see where this little treasure is hiding. Not that I got any hint's from the notes but it was only then that I discovered it is a 5 star terrain difficultySurprised finding the cache was not hard it could not be hidden too well who was going to muggle it out here? and there it was. I truly earn't these five stars and feel all the better for it. Thanks Riblit another quality cache. Left NZ National Park Coin TB and took the frog for Geodaughter left AA batteries. Incidentally I made it from the bottom back to the top where the car was in 12 minutes not bad I reckon.
This was our 250th cache to Yippee! TFTC SL

This was a lovely walk in from Florabella Street with a bit of a stiff climb on the way back. There are some interesting rock formations to negotiate, a darkened area around the creek with nice ferns - all in all a lovely part of God's creation. Found the cache without any trouble and all is in good order. TNLN. Thanks riblit for a pleasant outing.

Steeba's AWD Suburu made the trip out to GZ and back without too much bother. I would suggest that the next cachers take a bush saw; and then you will make it out there with no bother at all!

Once at GZ the cache was very quickly in hand.

Cheers!

The Subaru took a bit of manouvering to drive to the end of the road as there is/was a small tree over the road. 4WD probably recommended.

Cache quickly located on a hot day and ventured back and tackled the tree obstacle again on the way out.

We were traveling back up the Blue Mountains from Penrith and decided to put the GPS on and see what was in the area. Anyhow this one came up and Mr Stilllookin remembered it was a 4WD one. So without any planning we randomly tried side streets until we lucked upon the right one (or at least thats how it seemed to be). The 4WDing into GZ was quiet easy as we never needed to get out of our normal highway running mode since the road has been upgraded fairly recently most of the way in. Once at the end of the road GZ was located fairly quickly and caching buis done we headed back out and stopped at another spot with a view for a quick cuppa before continuing on our merry way.
Thanks Riblit for the detour.
