Logs
Agreed that this one needs to be archived. We were in the area last weekend and had a look- the cache is not where we last found it.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation this in a timely manner (i.e., within 30 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
Had explicit instructions on exactly where the cache was from a recent finder (since it has been moved) and it is definitely not there.
I have been here twice in the past 5 months and in between lots of others have tried to find the cache. I had a fair idea where to look this time but it isn't there.
We were staying at a B&B in Tanunda and thought that we would try for this elusive cache again. Thanks to a friend, we knew here to look but the cache is gone. 2nd attempt for us and clearly it is not there. Dont bother looking anyone!
This was my last attempt at this cache. We had lunch with the little ones here, and no one was around. That gave me roughly 40 minutes to crawl under the train, look around with a high powered CREE torch, move a ton of bark, and try the location that 'black swan' (the last finder) suggested. 3 adults searched this thing high and low (without climbing on the train) while the little ones played.
I'm now going to wait for this to be archived or replaced. Thanks for yet another (and very thorough) visit.

DNF on second visit
had the corrected coords, new hint and phone a friend tip

Our most logged DNF cache now. After shifting 2 ton of bark Im done. Oh well such a great place to play with the kids.
Spent quite some time here little people around with parents when then they left still no luck
Had a look for 10 mins or so, area was very busy and it was difficult to fein a casual interest in the 217 for any longer, also not convinced we wereonto a winner with so many DNF.Will give it a go another day...
On a public holiday Monday, we were on our way home from the Jamestown LWE event and even though there were heaps of youngsters (and oldsters) at the skate ramp there were no little muggles at all around the train. Looked several times but couldn't find the cache.
Don't recommend the Red Rooster across the road. I had bought lunch there to eat in this park. Service was extremely poor. No potato salad and they didn't seem to care and told me to go to Foodland (this was 1pm), luckily I checked the bag before leaving and one of the items ordered wasn't in the bag and then found one of the coffees was only half a cup and they initially tried to tell me that was correct until the 2IC said no it should have had the button pushed twice. First and last time I have been to a Red Rooster.

Any chance of the co-ords being updated to the new location or the cache being moved back to the original co-ords?
With 5 kids and 2 adults searching this thing for ages I would have thought we would have found it, even if the hint was off.....sadly today wasnt our day, but I am sure the kids made it in plenty of other peoples photos....I wonder if they saw the kids under there
So many muggles around! The 3 year old gave the perfect camouflage as I did the interested look at the train. Looked for at least 20 minutes with no luck. there were muggle kids under the train, so I'm hoping that past visitors haven't moved the cache....
Even though we took into account that the cache may have crept a bit, 4 of us couldn't find it. I hate train and WW1 & WW2 gun caches.
Didn't search too long even though I was the only one there. Is the hint still accurate?
As a recent finder, I can say that the hint is definitely NOT accurate anymore- cache creep...but after a long search we found it in the end... if you want a hint send me a private message.
Lot's a muggles and a long day meant we weren't able to have a "proper look"

Must be our 3rd dnf on this cache. Even rang a previous finder but still no luck. Any chance of a hint? Thanks BaggyGreens

Could not find it today plenty of muggle activity, our Geokids loved playing on the train.
Found it...finally! Must be our 4th or 5th attempt at this one, and almost didn't try it because of all the DNF logs. The Little Swan wanted to stop and have a play so we gave it a go. Left frog TB and several little toys.
As previously mentioned the hint (and possibly coords) should be updated. All is good with the container, log, etc.
Cheers & TFTC!

Saw that there were lots of DNF for this one, but thought we would have a look anyway because it was the perfect spot for us to have lunch during a day of geocaching, We looked every spot that we thought would be but alas it is also a DNF for us as well.
DNF Team SigShark,Janski and GoalieGuyJeff after wine tastings, have to add another DNF, we doubt the wine tastings had anything to do with the DNF
2nd attempt. we searched and searched and tried several different waypoints and tried every interpretation of clue we could think of - and still NO LUCK. What are we doing wrong?! Train-loving family so it cannot beat us, we WILL be back
I came here early in the day, so miniture muggles didn't prevent me from having a good look. Didn't get to search all over the train, but tried several different interpretations of the hint.
Another attempt at this but Trains and us don't mix we can never seem to find them. Will give it a look again next time.
Tried this one a couple of times now.... Always been muggle kids around but today all was clear.... BUT still no result.... Guess it waits for another day
Many attemps (lost counts) eh. call helpline - finally found it - SL. Thanks Team BaggyGreens for organising the cache and hunt.
As last found it good hidden lucky no mggles there.Accompained with Everlasting.Oh what big train display.T.N.L.N

We searched and we searched with no success. We are not impressed that the logs now suggest the clue is bogus and the coordinates had us looking in the wrong spot. Perhaps this could be fixed before we return to the Barossa.
We've been to this one twice before, with the same result: lots of muggles and unable to search where we thought the cache might be. A tipoff from a previous finder confirmed our suspicions of the hiding location and so it was without a GPS that Mr O found a window between muggles and grabbed the cache from the first place he looked in. Nice spot, if a little busy. And as per other logs, the clue is totally misleading as the cache has obviously crept. Try looking further aft TFTC.
My third DNF for the day. I had myself on a tight schedule but am not sure if the current construction works of the playground have effected the cache.
I will get back here again but maybe not when school has just finished for the day.
Cheers

Lots of muggles around and only able to have a quick look between hordes of kids running riot. Will have to try on next visit over here.
Aha found it at last!! after coming a few times and tempting to dismantle the whole train. I finally have this one in the bag thanks to a bit of team geocaching with the Rhyan Clan, Team Scallywag and The Wild Gang. TFTC TNLN SL
Please note the co-ords need some updating as does the clue as it is no where near it.
Wahoo i found it! Had to phone a friend to get nearer as the clue is shocking. TFTC

Shhh don't tell my wife I was here! I was meant to be at Angle Vale but after visiting there I made a small detour and quickly grabbed this one "on the way through"
This is the second time I have tried this one, first time I didn't have any idea what I was doing, but this time it was a piece of cake. Few muggles about but used my son as decoy.

Found quite quickly, but not quickly enough it seems. Busted! Nice to meet you Grandeeze.

just read previous logs and now don't feel so stupid. Will try advice of july 08 next time.Mum and kids had fun though
Budgie and I have tried and tried to find this one! This time was the only visit when Muggles haven't been a problem and we could have a really good search. But alas, the hiders must be very, very good as we came away empty handed. No doubt we will return; it's a great spot.
Well, we're not alone in logging a DNF on this one! Me & geo-kid spent over an hour (admittedly mostly playing on the monster) searching but no luck. Muggles got too thick as the day wore on, so we'll give it a go another time...
We had a great play, though!
We had a great play, though!
Found at 10:51am on the "2009 June Long Weekend Geocaching Adventure to the block" with Fatboy86, Shaszi, Geofitz88, a geofriend and the GeoMuttGSP.
This one took quite a bit of searching with the additional hints throwing us off, but persistence paid off with Geofitz claiming this find.
We all had a great time on the playground - the surrounding muggles must have questioned why such ‘big kids’ really liked the train, the swings and the see-saw!

Had a good look around without being too obvious what we were doing - lots of people here today - being mothers day.
Kids had a good play on the train anyway.

Finally found after at least the 3rd attempt (at night this time too). Needed some help from previous finds! TNLN
My friend has been here a few times and said it isn't here but he informed me a few days ago and said it's in a completely different spot so I wanted to say that the clue and cordinates should be changed.
Lots of tries at this one over a couple of days.
Hmmm.
Lots of evidence of other visits, but still no luck
Had to look like we were very interested in the construction of the train, as there were a lot of muggles about.
Oh... next visit maybe!

Luckily for Rocky Glen Grommets and crane2 we actually had the whole list of previous logs - the cache was not at the given coordinates but we were able to refer to a log made by DISK on July5th 2008 and found it immediately - Grom2 knew exactly where to look - would be a good idea to update coodinates and change the hint.
Grom mum and I were in the car, hoping to stay dry as it was raining quite heavily, but Grom 2 was not having any luck, so I went out to help search when a whoop went up as Mum Grom found the important tip which gave the game away. Grom2 was off like a flash to retrieve the cache once he knew where to look! Cache #381. Took a koala left a snake.
this one proved to be elusive on both attempts to find it today. think that the muggles have found this one. found a spot wher it looks like it was but nothing there.
Well we had another go at finding this one, it was muggle free early this morning the little ones and I tried so hard but no luck. We won't give up because we will not be beaten.
Holy Smokin Catfish&Wacka Ma Dooza!!!
Holy Smokin Catfish&Wacka Ma Dooza!!!
We enjoyed an afternoon at the park & had a few quick looks before to many muggles where around. Hung around until most of the others where gone, but no success in finding it. Hmmm!
Not for us today. Looked for a bit and then a load of muggles turned up. Will try again next time.
Pop had the little ones of the clan climbing all over and under GZ .We have had 2 goes now at finding this one but again it remained elusive ,oh well maybe next time at least we had success with the other ones we done today.

An easy find on a nice family outing to the Barossa. 4 year old geoson was perfect cover to help allay the suspicions of any muggles looking.
Took a yellow bouncy ball.
Left a clip on koala and a TB.

The owner should check this cache and report the findings with the appropriate log.
Searched high and low, but there were muggles about so didn't feel happy about staying too long.
Not too busy today - but still didn't hang around very long as there were a few muggles. Maybe next time.
Well we couldn't find this oen either
rain kept the muggles away, but no luck locating the cache

We spent way longer than we should looking for this one ! It was way over 10 minutes. We could not find it, bad start to the morning!
Finally found on our third attempt - don't think the hint helps though. Took the Klem Bear, left the Hawaiian keyring, signed the log.
3rd attempt and with help from a friend with a clue I finally got it. Thanks.
This is our second attempt at this one - probably not the best one to make as your first cache! Sent in the kids and still could not locate it. I'm sure this one will bug us for awhile and is always full of little muggles.
FINALLY found it!! This about the fourth time we have been there looking for it. Had Matmob helping us today but couldn't find it. So jumped on the net and had a look at the latest post which helped us a lot when we came back later! The original clue was actually a hinderance rather than a help! (Should this be changed?). Also met our first random fellow geocachers here today. They were looking for the cache while we were writing in it!

Found this one at last. Have driven by many times but always dozens of muggles. Followed the original clues and had no luck but after moving around the train found dezza with cache in car filling in log. Waited for it to be replaced and then retrieved it. At last can this this off the list. TFTC
With Anana had the good fortune to meet up with Dezza and matmob. This gave the chance to release this from the list of nemesi (is that the plural of nemesis). At last we can smile instead of groan as we drive past this spot. Took a lizard and left a dog to show we had been there. Also great to meet fellow cachers. TFTC
Stopped by here this morning on our way around the Valley and took some new co-ords (hope they're closer - only stopped a few seconds).
THE CACHE IS STILL THERE .
If you have done Leo No.5 [?], it's in the same place.

Went back again today and looked for a long time again. Met up with Voogoofish and freinds - who had previously found it - after searching, they couldn't find it!
Perhaps it has gone???
Perhaps it has gone???
Not liking to be beaten, we returned today for another look for the cache. Together with Psalm 118:24 and a couple of ring-ins. Stroke of luck to find that Voogoofish was in the area. Arranged to meet him and 3 other cachers here for lunch. They have previously found this cache. No luck today either. Cache definitely not where they had previously found it. Might be worth checking that it's still there!
Searched for ages with Ginger Ninja, goingtheredoingthat and Ali Cat plus a few other friends.
Looked and looked for a long time in the rain - had to leave it and go to a baskestball match.

In the area with Psalm 118:24 for a basketball tournament over the long weekend. Thought we would check this one out between games. Had people climbing all over the train looking for it.... the basketball team and their kids, but no luck. Had to leave to play the next game. Will be back!
Spent a good while searching for this one (both in the rain and out of it) but no joy. Ah well- maybe another day.
We could not find this one and there were too many people around, we needed some kids as decoys. lol
We will try next time we are there.
Thanks

Yeah!!! We got it.
After seeing that this cache had been found again recently we had to give it another go. TOF Kettle was going to a concert nearby so the rest of the team decided to spend the time enjoying the beautiful autumn afternoon caching in the Barossa.
It must have been one of our longest searches ever. After about an hour with the Kettle Kids crawling over, under and through every square inch of the train we were about to give up when a muggle asked "Are you guys geocachers?". She said she had an aunt who had found this cache. As she went off to phone her aunt to get us some more guidance Kettle Twin 2 suddenly exclaimed "I got it! I got it!"
A very pleasing find in the end as the co-ordinates had us in the middle of the car park, some of the logs seemed to contradict each other and the clue doesn't match where we found it so we can only assume it has been moved.
Thanks for the cache TBG.
Well we thought we'd have this one in the bag, having found several on trains AND HAVING BOTH THE SEEKER AND THE GOLDEN ELF in full search mode. The Elf gets into every small space there is!
But no even with the Chaser and the Keeper looking we have to log a DNF We climbed about for an hour.
Fantastic fun though anyway! Thanks for taking us here.[^]
Contacting last finder to just check it wasn't in the spots we thought it should be/could be.

Heck! Has this cache just been recently replaced without anyone knowing it, or are we DNF'rs suffering "loco" blindness?
Despite reading all the DNF logs, we had to stop here as we cached our way around the Barossa (boys and trains....). Had a good look around with no luck and even returned for a 2nd look after some advice from Liz and Bruce as to exactly where to look, but no luck. The boys played a game of 'Oh no! The train's broken down, we have to crawl under to see what is wrong' to stop muggles wondering what we were doing - worked beautifully!
A fun place to stop, even without a cache.

I contacted the owner in early Nov about this cache and was told that it had probably gone again. Now after another 4 DNF's it looks quite definite.
