This didnt look to far away and we wanted to get its neighbouring cache. The track in seemed ok for a high clearance 2WD until about 1.5km from GZ due to a long patch of soft sand. This is when the sensors in a modern car let us down with the traction control cutting power when needed and the parking sensors thinking the sand was an object and slamming on the brakes. Needs less to say it stopped and dig in so we jacked in up, found some timber and dropped it down again to get out of there and managed to drive close to GZ without any further issues. We completed signing duties and re hid but could seem to spot the recent logs. We then headed to the next one having to careful select trails and various points. Plenty of Roos and emus about. The car almost did a repeat 10m from a proper road as the electronics tried to kick in but we had enough momentum. TFTC
On our adventure back home, Team Barritts was obsessed with replacing this one. Great another survives! TFTC!
On the way home from Narrogin, after a few days of exploring for WAGB23. Took the shortcut home and picked up the couple of hides on our lists. Okay, we found what was left of this old one and as we always carry replacements (my car), have replaced the cache container to keep this one alive.
Please delete the "needs maintenance" log and we will look after now.
Cache on!

Out in the bush with C10 to help him finish off the FOTT 4wd trail. Grabbed a few nearby aswell. Great to tick off this old cache.
Thanks Team Tuff for placing and maintaining this cache. Out and about with Barnzy12 getting a few smily faces.
Having a good day out finding some caches in the cool clear skies winter weather. Plenty of water on the dirt roads today making for a fun time whilst finding caches but more effort in cleaning the geo mobile afterwards.

Out and about clearing up a few more of the Wandoo series. Finished a bit quicker than expected so took an exciting drive out to this one. Cache found safe and well. TFTC
We headed out on a lovely winters day to collect some less loved caches and to put the final parts back together on the the FOTT trail. The views were breathtaking and we visited some spectacular locations. We are happy to say we added our name to the log book and walked away with a smilie TFTC
Out & about exploring Talbot West, this was the next cache on our radar... Again the Nuvi guided us with ease to this cache We enjoyed the drive getting here & also this nice location... Master 7 made the quick find here as they went up the rock whilst us adults were looking around the base!
TFTC Team Tuff . The cache is starting to get brittle but doing its job for now... Cache had been found by muggles who had left a note not for kids eyes. We chose to remove said page. Cheers!

Out and about with Kyzabra today giving the new wheels a workout and picking up a cache or two along the way. Have to say the Trusty Triton performed admirably.
Another quick find of the aptly named cache once at GZ. Loving these 4WD tracks.
Team Tuff I found your cache at 9:36am, this was the 4th of 13 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 4827. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Headed out today with Granett. He had mentioned to me a few weeks ago a trip was needed and who was Intonsay No?
A few caches on the radar and we thought we’d “check out the scenery”
An aptly named cache as we approached GZ and Granett quickly had it spotted and signed.
Team Tuff, Kyzabra found your cache Rocky, on 7/7/18. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!
We’d love to see you at WA GOES BIG 2018 in Dunsborough on the weekend of 13th/14th October.

First find of this cache in almost 2 years! Still in great condition. Kids did a swap. TFTC
Took my parents, who live nearby, to find this cache. It was my mum's first geocaching experience. lovely area, not an easy drive to the location though, 4wd is necessary unless you want a long walk from the main road. thanks for the cache
4:20pm heading home after a few days out caching, mostly doing the Wandoo Power trail.
This is an area that is beautiful yet only has 3 geocaches in it. One is ours. We should come back out and make a small multi cache trail.
Out here During summer the ticks can be a problem but at this time of the year is perfect.
We drove in on all sorts of tracks generaly following the GPS, lots of fun.
An easy newbie 4wd adventure but tell someone you are out here as its a long walk home if you do break down.

We decided to make our own long weekend this weekend after working the last weekend. We were headinng to camp at Yornanning Dam for the weekend with friends. Then maybe down to Wagin for the Woolarama.
So up this morning 38degrees again so we packed up camp fairly early as our long weekend had come to an end.
On our way back to Perth after our detour into the forest for another cache this one appeared as next closest! Hmmm do we have time sure why not? We had to be back by 3.30pm for a Chiropractors appointment.
Tomtom navigated to the cache no problems at all. Although the 6km by straight arrow is closer to 9km by track. Easily done in the Geocruiser although might not be as easy in the winter. Log is still damp, and 1 of the catches is broken on the box. Put the box in an external bag, hopefully to help it through the next winter.

Dark Swamp Rogain out here this weekend so if it comes within range will get the cache a new log book and bag.
The poor cache definitely needs maintenance. It was more of a swimming pool than a cache.
Oh, what a sad and sorry state poor Rocky is in! When Melvilla.B & LouBla found him exposed & perched up on top of the boulder he had flipped his lid & was full of water. Everything completely soggy. Even the zip lock bag didn't protect the log book. Still managed to scratch in an entry (without tearing the page). We suspect muggle intervention but not the complete muggling. Unfortunately we didn't have any time to try & dry things out. We emptied out the water. Could the next person in please take in a new (waterproofed) log book? We hope poor Rocky can see better days soon. TFTSC (Thanks For The Soggy Cache).
Found it (with loubla and blakids) on our drive through these beantiful forests. Needs maintenance as was full of water and out exposed on top of a rock (we hid it).
Had less trouble on this part of the track so enjoyed the bush a lot more. Soon found the cache and log signed.
Thanks for the cache.

We loved all about the park and catchment road is very interesting and challanging here and there.

A nice and quick find. No swaps. Thanks for taking us to the cache where we would not have been there if it was not for cache, and the opportunity to sightseering the country.

We were having a drive around the area to go to Mt Observation to do some cache maintenance. Decided to take the scenic route and pick up a couple of caches on the way. Always love coming to this area and thanks for putting more caches out here. Look for some of ours if you willing to walk a little.
Took nothing and left Farmer Fleming Travel Bug.

Found the cache at 4.30pm. Enjoyed drive the 4WD and so peaceful area. TNL-calling card and sign log. Thanks for the hunt.
What a pleasant, peaceful spot this is. Found easily just off the main track. T: padlock, L: stubby holder. SL Thanks to Team Tuff for bringing us into this area again.
This one wasn't as easy to locate as the track didn't seem to match the map making me a bit disorientated and it was getting dark. Was just on dusk as I stopped and pointed to a probable feature. Held the boys back this time and let my daughter do the search. After 10 minutes I called her over and pointed and asked, "Does that look natural?" "Oh" she said. Cache found, in swarmed the boys. TFTH and the drive. Poor car got a workout today.
