Found myself once again in the Shellharbour area while the missus has a get together with her friends here. A perfect opportunity to once again pick off a few hides. This was the last of the day. I have pondered this cache many times over the years, but was always concerned that the muggle activity here may be excessive. But as today was not particularly pleasant for surfing, thought i might have a better chance. As I drove down I was beginning to think I was in trouble, but found a parking spot and took the suggested route. I have been close to this area on a previous caching expedition. The seas were pretty big, but the location was not a problem and soon found myself at the GZ. Performed duties and replaced as found glad I had the place to myself. Took some time to soak in the view before moving on.
34,841. Found with minniek and Team SHI.We joined a bunch of Canberra Cachers to tackle a whole bunch of caches around the Shellharbour/Port Kembla region over an ACT only long weekend. We signed our group as Team SHI (ShellHarbour Invasion) which consisted of minniek, Kittykatch, Joolay, contesta, ispoeda, Tankengine, dty73 and myself or if most had already found we signed our own names. I have already found most of the caches attempted this weekend, but I did manage a couple which along with the awesome company made it a great weekend's caching. After minniek and KK attended the local Parkrun, we started our list for the day. All caches were found in good condition unless stated otherwise. We headed down to this one first - can't believe I've never tried for this oldie before ! A careful walk around the rocks and we soon at GZ with cache in hand. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on to the next one. Thanks YoungGregB (who probably isn't that young anymore) !!
fitzy_1965 and I headed to the Lake Illawarra area to do some caching with friends for the Canberra long weekend. We signed our group as SHI (ShellHarbour Invasion) which consisted of Kittykatch, Joolay, contesta, ispoeda, Tankengine, dty73, fitzy_1965 and myself or if most had already found we signed our own names. It was a great few days away and lots of caches found. Thanks to the CO's for placement.
Shellharbour tripFound with Joolay, minniek, fitzy63, isopeda, contesta, Tanjengine, dty73. Cool old cache with fab views of the beach. I used to come here to surf 40 years ago - anazing to see the development and changes here. Thanks for the hide YoungGregB
Fabulous spot. Lovely to grab this oldie.Looking forward to a warmer weekend enjoying the lovely Wollongong area with Kittykatch, contesta, Tankengine and dty73, ispoeda, fitzy_1965 and minniek Thanks for getting me out and about YoungGregB
Long weekend with Contesta, Kittykatch, Joolay, DTY73, Tankengine, fitzy_1965, and MinnieK with the main goal to finish the SES series. Had breakfast at Midden after some participared in Parkrun and then decided to come down here. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Find # 1216425/5/2024 10:04Caching adventures continue and trying to tick off as many on the solved pile as I can. Headed across to the coast for the long weekend to meet up with a few other CBR cachers. The main target is the SES series, having worked on these puzzles last year and gradually made the solves. Some with help and others straightforward. Either way it was an enjoyable series, generally. Now its time to collect. And of course with so many others to choose from in this area, its a busy weekend.Always shenanigans in a group as you never quite know what might happen but its guaranteed to be fun! The group consists of Joolay, KittyKatch, isopeda, minniek, fitzy_65, dty73, and Tankengine. All caches located, retrieved, signed, and replaced. Thanks YoungGregB for Funny Farm (Shellharbour)
Chooo ooo [Found] on a quick trip down to Shell Harbour with dty73! Found with a bunch of other Canberra and local cachers! Thanks YoungGregB!
Tankengine and I drove down from Canberra leaving at 6:30am Saturday morning and joined our friends (Kittykatch, Joolay, contesta, Isopeada, minniek and fitzy_1965) and we had become part of the Shellharbour Invasion Team (SHI). We could only stay one night, so up early Sunday for a quick bite to eat and more caching before we had to leave everyone to head home again. We had a fun time caching, logging many finds and a couple DNFs, enjoyed a lovely dinner at the very busy club at the great event on Saturday night and most of all hanging out with great friends. This cache: Lovely beach and such a warm morning compared to Canberra. Loved walking along the rocks. And a quick find. Tftc!!!
Great find, thanks. Needs a new ziplock bag and container. The logsheet is soaked
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Wet logbook
Nice spot. Haven't been here before. Carpark was full but no muggles here. Log was a little damp. Tftc
Tftc. Container clip is broken and the log is getting tattered and mouldy. But nice place to have a walk.
A bit of a climb and a few prickles in my pants but then had the CIH. TFTC.
one of the best locations! enjoyed the adventure
p.s log needs some maintenance! very waterlogged and rusted - cam + ed

The terrain here is interesting. The inside of the cache is a bit dirty and wet. Unfortunately I couldn’t sign the logbook because my dog destroyed the pen I had been using, so I’m instead sending a photo of the obtained cache to the owner as proof I found it. TFTC.
The inside of the cache is a bit dirty and wet, could the owner please clean it out
While others froliced on the beach, I couldn’t resist the temptation to find this cache.
Once at the GZ, I looked left and right, up and down, and then all over the place. I must have been fixated on the hint as I eventually found it out in the open within the tall grass
After signing the log, I returned it to a spot that matches the hint.
I then went beach frolicking

Exploring on a drizzly day, this was a great walk along the rock platform above a big swell. Cache found in a likely spot after a short search, container was full of water but log is relatively dry and able to be signed. Thank you!
Went through the Rocks and after the GPS bouncing around a bit I soon found the cache. Nice spot. TFTC!
An beautiful walk along the beach then a very interesting chamber over rock platform.
The container was safe and sound.

Our first cache for quite some time. Good way to keep the kids interested in getting out and about in the local area during lockdown. TFTC
Great to find an old cache in a fantastic location. Give me one like this any day.
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.

Companion: Geoson16
Muggles: None
Weather: Windy summer afternoon
Cache condition: Good
We’ve been camping in the Park and decided to go for an afternoon swim. The tide was low so we decided to find this cache first, heading round the rocks until we were at GZ where it didn’t take too long to get CIH - TNLNSL, thanks for bringing us to an attractige spot!

The Farm is one of my favourite beaches of all time, so I was very excited to bring two geofriends here who had never been. After some awesome photo opportunities we made our way to GZ. Adonis and I were both zeroing in on the same spot, I found a good hidey hole and thought I had made the find first! .... but alas, I was wrong... no cache to be found. Turns out I was half a metre from the actual cache, but adonis spotted it first!!! TFTC
After parking the car nearby, we scrambled onto the rock platform and had to dodge the honking plover. After going the long way round we soon found ourselves at gz with the cache in hand pretty quickly. Thank you
First cache of the day with mrwhiskers76. Beautiful day for caching, we had to make a small detour around a squawking plover protecting its kids. The cache is in good condition too. Thank you for a great cache, we didn’t realise this place existed!
Claiming a few smiles in the area and enjoying the weather I ventured to this one. A bit of a walk and scramble and cache was soon found

A tricky find! Don't be scared to search high and low. There's some beautiful prickly pears to be seen in the area
The farm is such a beautiful place the location is out of the way without being to far away to still catch Cov 19 happy hunting
Sticking to the coast on this warm day. Thought I might check out a few Headlands in the area. Of course I would find geocaches whilst there. This was one of them.
Amazing spot TFTC took 'victoria' left a happiness kit and new pencil as old one needs sharpening.
Today I am on an OZGM2019 mega area tour doing caches around Wilton and then onto the coastal areas as far south as this cache. A good day which included some unloved caches, lab caches, two event caches, and a number of retro caches such as this one. This cache is my 5th Jasmer for the day.
Not sure why it is called *Funny* Farm but I did enjoy the story of why the area is called the farm. It truly is an incredible beach. The car park was packed where I was lucky to get the last spot. The walk to the cache was amazing where a SPOR soon confirmed I was on the right track. I dipped our [Jasmer Challenge coin](https://coord.info/TB7AXHF) as well as some others, and signed the log. The cache was replaced as found. Always great to visit a retro cache. TFTC, YoungGregB.

Awesome spot. Cool find. Sun is out, surfers out. Whoop. Thanks for hide.
#18 sound after a short walk along the rocks. Beautiful views and cool rock pools to checkout
What a fabulous spot. Walked to GZ after parkrun with Wilbert67. Such calm conditions today.
Sat at GZ not a sign of human habitation only the sea and beautiful coastline. TFTC
Driving down to Kiama from Sydney for a gig and saw a cache with a trackable in a pretty spot so it was a no brainer to give it a go. TB missing but I dropped one off. All good with this cache in an awesome spot. Took nothing, dropped Speedracer TB. SL tftc YoungGregB
I had given up looking for this after climbing everywhere when I looked back as I was leaving and spotted it. Couldn't believe that previously I had been standing directly below it! A great spot, but no surf today for the poor surfers. TFTC
Geohubby found this one after an adventurous walk along the rocks with the geokids. The hint was very helpful even though my geo daughter was standing right next to it and didn’t even realise
The cache itself was in good condition although a bit sticky inside. Gave this one a favourite because of the beautiful and fun location

Found this one after finishing up in Shellharbour for breakfast. The missus insider we attend the beach for a swim. Noticed that there was a geocache near by so agreed.
Easy find and lovely spot. Left TB. TFTC.

Mrs Aries and I were in the area for some caching etc. This one looked interesting and we hadn't really visited this particular area before. Glad we did because it is spectacular and a hidden gem (maybe not so hidden).
The surf was up and the day was fine with a pleasant NE blowing. No muggles as we made our way to GZ. Once again Mrs Aries eagle eyes spotted the hide as I was making my way up. We signed the log and I got sticky fingers from the plastic bag but the log book is OK. Its that lolly that someone has left in the cache and has melted . UGH!. Sorry I didn't have a spare bag with me. TFTC YoungGregB.

Found it. Great Spot. Actually one of my brothers favourite surf spots. TFTC
With muggle hubby off work atm, we went for a drive and found ourselves in this location. Not exactly dressed for caching but that didn't stop me! Grabbed this one fairly easily today. TFTC
Nice views and a nice find. A little water in the container but the log is fine. Dried it as best I could. TFTC!
