###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###

----------

Hi there Cache Owner,

This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.

Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.

**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?

You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:

- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.

- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Find number 7534 at 3:12:38 pm
Went for a drive this afternoon so that I could get some sun on the track and grab a cache or two as I went. What a glorious winters day, and the last one for the year by my measure.
Cache container found with the lid missing, the container was half full of water and the log book was soaking. I dried everything out as best I could, after making my mark I left the container in place and upside down to keep the water out but it really needs a new lid.
**Thanks for placing this cache Rebel Acts**

There was a troll living under bridge 3 and no cache under likely location. Beware with GeoKids as there really is someone living under the bridge. Will report rough sleeper using SnapSendSolve

Riding along the Warburton trail again with Swedishchef. ( muggle friend) who gets used to me stopping and looking for “treasures” as he calls caches. Each time I find a few so there are some when we come back for the views and exercise again along this trail. Explored some of the multis this time and retrieved some information for next time Found this one. Again lid off. But dry log. Not quite the right direction hint. Reversed and cache found. Hasn’t been found for a few months.

While I worked out the coordinates, MontsII raced on ahead searching the obvious spot while there was a break in muggles. As I finished calculating the coordinates he yelled out that he had found the cache. TFTC Rebel Acts

Found today as part of the Yarra Expedition 10 on bikes.

Really enjoyed the ride along here and the bridge series. Checked in the logical spots each time and got the win.

Cheers

After attending the *Yarra Expedition #10* event this morning we then explored the area following the river between Warburton and Woori Yallock.
It was a great time to be out on this sunny winter day as we covered about 25km by bike along these trails.

At just 20 years old this rail trail is relatively new. That's almost as old as geocaching is now. Some bridge caches can be tricky but this one was a quick find.

Another older GC6 cache ticked off.
Thanks Rebel Acts.

Find #9694

The Yarra event has been a must attend series of events for me, especially as it is getting close to the end. The weather was looking good, but due to a sore foot, I decided not topart in the riding portion of the day. I picked up sedgwickDave at 8 and off we went.

This one was also a straight forward cache, really not too tricky. The cache however was out in the open with NO Lid. Log book and main container was all good.

Many thanks to Rebel Acts for the cache. TNLN.

*4 Aug 2018, Found @ 1:03 pm, Find # 8162.*

After attending the gathering component of the Yarra Expedition #10, we then headed off on our bikes to complete the second part to this event and find a few caches along the way.
I have been wanting to ride this trail for a long time now but just haven't got around to doing it so now with this event, it gave me the push I needed to get it done, well half of it, now I will have to complete it at some stage.
It was an all in with different approaches on how to find the caches but in the end for this one, it was working out the coordinates properly that won.

**Thanks to Rebel Acts for placing this cache.**

In the area supervising scouts (from afar) on a hike.
This one was found out in the open, after solving the clues. We retrieved everything except the lid and put it up so it stays a bit drier. It needs a new container and it maintenance check.

During a day in the local library I needed a stretch from sitting all day and went for this Multi Cache.
The final coords were figured out quickly. No muggles around so I went straight to GZ to sign the logbook.
Thanks for showing. Tftc

Headed out to mt donna today to check on one of my caches.
Called a geofriend to see if they wanted to tag along and picked her up on the way so me a papillon4506 headed up and along the way found some caches.
We did a fair few multi's today witch was good. TFTC.

Lukie1987 and I took much longer to find this than was necessary. Must say in our defence that it wasn't all our fault.
Whilst checking that the information we had was correct, two muggles asked us what we were doing. We gave them a fairly quick explanation and the lady asked if we could write down the name of it so they could look it up when they got home. Whilst I was doing this, Lukie1987 had explained about the free app compared to the premium app. The gentleman put the free app on his phone while we were standing there.
We let them know that there are various fb sites as well as social events/outings etc.
We both a fairly sure that we may have two more victims of our obsession.
Hence the time it took us to locate a quick and easy find.
Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.

Really sorry for the late logging, cycling has taken over my life, and I'm waaaaay behind on logging found caches...

This week I was here with my husband and a friend cycling the 7 Peaks. Today was a rest day for us, so we had the chance for some sightseeing and geocaching!

After driving from Warburton up Donna Buang, we then headed over to Healesville via the back roads for lunch and a walk around town before coming back to Warburton. The boys were exhausted so I dropped them back at the caravan park and headed out for a few hours of caching.

I'm really enjoying these bridges, it's a good little walk and a nice cache at the end. Thanks for the multi Rebel Acts!

Out training for the Oxfam Trailwalker with Annoying Tarbit and Lost_and_found_79. AT had already found this one and I remembered BendSinister had to double back on last week's training walk due to miscalculating this one. L&F79 was very careful with the numbers and again was able to make the find, much to her delight. Log was very, very soggy - so were we a the end of our walk.

Find #1044
Out on a training walk for the Oxfam Trailwalker with Annoying Tarbit and loz6032. Again Annoying Tarbit pointed out this multi to his poorly prepared teammates and we set to solving the coordinates. After my stupid error on the last one I was so diligent that I checked, rechecked and checked again. Luckily the find was a bit more straightforward. I was on the money again with this (two from two!) whilst AT stood guard. Unfortunately the log looked a bit like we did later in the day... soggy. L took a photo of the log whilst I drained the water from the cache. TFTC!

Found on training walk

04-Mar-17
I took a photo of the plaque at WP1 on the eastward journey and found the cache when passing back westwards on a long walk between Mt Evelyn and Millgrove with Oxfam trailwalker peeps. I apparently made a slight miscalculation, so the cache wasn't in the first place perused. As mentioned in the past two entries, the physical log is extremely wet, and I struggled to make a mark. Will attach photo. Thanks Rebel Acts!

18-Jan-17
Mixed up the I and the 1 and had to recalculate to bring cache to a more realistic spot. Cache was dry inside but log is very wet. TFTC.

24-Dec-16
Originally messed this one up with working out the calcs. Came back after doing more caches and got my geo senses on track. Recalc and now this made more sense. A quick find. Log was very damp and could only put date and start of tidder when it wouldn't let me sign any further. Put back again. Thanks

29-Jun-16
Took a muggle and two of her boys caching (for the first time) on the trail. We had parked nearby and started off with this one but the boys (mine included) were restless while I was trying to figure out the coordinates so I took the necessary info and we started cycling towards the Lilydale end. Will return another day.

Find #2012

Camping at the Doon Reserve near Yarra Junction with the family on Saturday night. Managed to slip away in the late afternoon under cover of grabbing a few items for the evening BBQ and grabbed 4 caches along the way. I rode this trail a few years back in the days before geocaching and it was very enjoyable. After a find nearby I carried on to this one. Found the numbers easily and then headed to GZ where after a short search the cache was in hand. Had an amusing experience on leaving as there were a group of people gathered along the trail as I emerged form the undergrowth. I thought they would pass but it turned out they were stopping for a wedding photo shoo. Fortunately they let me pass without any odd questions as to where I had emerged from. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for this multi cache Rebel Acts.

A couple of boys were fishing as I crossed bridge 3. Looked good. Well I've come to the end of my rail-trail run for the day. I found all the caches except WT Bridge 16 & 17 which needs to be replaced. Thanks for your contribution Rebel Acts. I'll give another favourite. Surprized that I found no trackables.

09-May-15
Thanks for giving me a reason to explore this bit of the rail trail, what a beautiful spot on the river, will have to come back in the warm weather! Found this one easily after practising on the last one, and my dog still thinks I'm mad!

This was great fun thanks. SL

28-Feb-15
Found it! M and Geokid 1 out to conquer Warby and the upper trail caches on our bikes. This cache proved to be our very last for the day and the toughest! All seemed to be going well as we found the plaque and retrieved the information we needed. Geokid did the maths, M entered the target into the GPS and it's showing some 9 km to the east! That fits we think, must be on the bridge nearer Warburton which is right where we left the Geotruck so we can get it when we get back...easy!
We finally return after a full on day on the trail, re-check the co-ordinates and its showing up on Donna somewhere???? No rail bridge up there! so we check the maths, no problem there (with Geokid 1 there NEVER is, the kids a calculator on legs!). Then I see a little problem, our description cannot define what is 1 and what is I.....so we start to enter all the possibilities, noooo!, far to long a day for that. Nothing for it but head home and look at it in a different font and come back another day. So we head for home base which will mean passing close by the plaque again. M can not be beaten by such a challenge so we check the hint in the description, it sounds straight forward so we head for a likely bridge to try our luck, check where the clue points us and bingo, the cache! Who said you need a GPS to do this stuff? TFTC

25-Feb-15
Found with my dad, day1976. Back dating my finds now that I have an account.

25-Feb-15
I found this geocache as part of a morning hike along the Warburton trail with my 5 year old son. Most of the time he was on my shoulders and he ways about the same as my full pack, so I guess it was good training.

Well I did stuff this one up initially, but eventually I rectified it. Got to the initial co-ords easily, performed the calculations and headed off to GZ. That's when things went pear shaped. we hunted in and around everywhere, but turned up nothing. Consulted the hint and it seemingly confirmed that I was in the right spot. But nope, no cache.

So after half an hour of hunting around, we gave up and went on to do the nearby multi instead, which was a lot easier. We were continuing our walk on past that one when I saw a sign. Straight away my mind flashed back to the hint. "If Yarra Junction is that way, then Warburton must be the other way, in which case I was looking in the wrong spot!!!!!"

U-turn, made our way back to GZ to make a nice easy find in the first place we looked.

Thanks Rebel Acts, what's with putting caches under bridges all the time????

We used the great weather to bike along the Lilydale-Warburton rail trail this weekend. The trip had a bit of everything: scenic views, sunshine, a flat tire and lots of caches. We want to thank the cache owners for all the effort they put into creating and maintaining their caches.

04-Jan-15
The last time we were in the area we were camped on a friends property alongside of the Little Yarra River.
Reading old logs, it seem some of them were written whilst we were there.
Today the numbers were quickly calculated and a surprisingly easy find followed soon after.
The cache was a little bit exposed but still nearly in it's obvious hiding spot.
Took a traveller to continue his adventures.
Thanks again Rebel Acts.

Found this one today. The plaque was found easily enough but finding the actual cache was a bit more difficult. Eventually it was found but it was on the ground under some blackberries. I signed the log, didn't swap anything today and put the cache back where it was meant to be but I wonder if this cache has had some cache creep as well.

Thanks for the cache Rebel Acts.

The Demolition Crew was together again on our regular Monday night caching run. The night was full of caches finds, laughs and a fair distance traveled tonight with our route taking us right out to Warburton then back into the city. We had a great night finding quite a few multis and even managed a FTF as well. Thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches that we found tonight.

Found while out on another legendary Demolition Crew run starting in the Melbourne area, making a big loop out Warburton way then back to the CBD. A great night caching with lots of laughs as usual, and great company of course. Lots of multi and a few mystery cache finds, and even a FTF. Thanks to all the CO's who put out the caches we found on the night.

Found this one in the company of the cache owner. Another top cache from the Rebel. TFTC mate.

After finding a couple of nearby bridge caches, I was wise to the hiding methods Smile
But what I didn't expect was the sudden increase in muggle traffic as I approached this pair of bridges [:o]
Let's see, 10:36am local time. What happens at 10:36am that causes so many people to be crossing these bridges ?

I ignored the odd looks from the parade as I read the plaque and juggled the numbers into my GPS while holding the phone in my other paw.
Then I made several attempts at GZ to disappear from view, but everytime another marching muggle or bicycling buggle would appear.
Eventually I made it and saw the cache Smile
But I was on the wrong side of something solid.

By now the noise of marching feet and rolling bike wheels above was almost continuous.
I had to quickly duck out from cover and back in again somehow !!
A lull in the precedings happened at 10:45am.

I quickly grabbed the cache and scribbled in the logbook.
Poking me head out from cover, not a soul about.
I didn't see another person on my stroll all the way back to near the other nearby cache where the geomobile was parked.

Where did everyone go at 10:45am ?
I guess I was unlucky and chose the 9 mad rail trail minutes to conduct my search Red Face

Is there an equivalent 9 mad minutes in the afternoon when the muggles go back to where they came ?

TFTC.

Found at 0910. This one took us a bit longer to find than it probably should have. I think I overlooked the spot on the first search, and then finally we went back to where the coords suggested and Rubik found it.

Couldn't believe the amount of riders on the trail today. It was a good day for riding though.

Thanks acts2.

This one took quite a bit more searching from MV and I and neither of our GPS units wanted to agree. Eventually MV's unit pointed to a general area to search and I went to investigate closer - oh there, right in front of our eyes!

We had to dodge quite a few cyclists this morning, boy this is a popular track!

Many thanks again,

Boy is it hot today. Found a nice spot under a tree to park the car and walked the rest of the way to this cache. Lots of Muggles out on their bikes so had to be careful. Got the clue and headed off to GZ. Easy find once here. TFTC. Kems

Found at 1250 hours, in the company of Riggers64, after acquiring the information, we again strolled to GZ, where I stood on watch as Riggers64 sign the log for us both.
The watch commands Muggles approaching, muggles on wheels and muggles on big dogs(That's what "Hope" thought, Riggers64 Geopal) where as also known as muggles on horse back.
