Young Bruce and cousin were keen to surf, and Dump Beach seemed to be where the surfers were. While they were out, Mrs Bruce and I walked the dog, and I managed to find this oldie, about 5m north of where the phone was pointing. Thanks 2 dogs for the placement
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. Spending a few days in beautiful Port Elliot exploring the area and picking up a few caches. Great to see an old cache still in play. TFTC. LNCU
I'm busy looking in the bushes and bullertrout says that what's that beside your foot. How did I not see or kick it? TFTC The 2 Dogs#16655
Paddle Chick and myself are heading to Murray Bridge area. Getting caches along the way and very hot today
Having done a lot of 2 Dogs caches over the time when the opportunity appeared to go to the Mega this was on the detour list. A quick find and all ok at GZ. Nice view. Signing duties completed. TFTC
Found it this morning after school drop off. Didn't sign as log was a bit soggy. TFTC
Shout out for our community volunteer igni for doing maintenance on this historic cache.

Caravan trip to Victor Harbor, Deep Creek and surrounds.
Found in no man's land, half buried. There's been land slippage here, no idea where it's supposed to be, left sitting on some roots.

I’m on my way to a CITO in Victor, and have time up my sleeve for a few bonus caches. Still a lot for me to choose from in this part of the state.
Another cache not too far out of the way, and a regular and an oldie to boot. The area approaching GZ is being turned into a works depot site, but the cache should be safe where it is. Probably best to avoid during work times as all the bunting suggests they don’t want visitors in this area.
I see that ownership of this cache is now showing as Geocaching NSW! And Dumpling, where are you now? Thanks to all involved for setting this up and keeping it going.

Goldy is spending a few days at Victor Harbor with Jimmy to get some time away from the regular stuff.
After the CITO was done I swung by this cache and after a few minutes of searching the cache was found.
Tried to etch our names into the log book but was damp so it was ripping the page.
A nice oldie for Goldy. Interesting that this is owned by NSW.
Thanks Geocaching NSW for this cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3199 on the 18th of June 2023.
CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!
Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!
**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**

Tftc unfortunately has been water damaged and the notepad is all soggy. Also no trackable in it
Very well hid, took us a while to find it, look at the photos the owner has provided! TFTC
Needed the hint to convince me to dig a little deeper and make the find! Logs were soaked inside their ziplock bag so left it open in the container in the hopes that the warmer weather will dry them out. TFTC!
Quick find on a multi purpose stop. Views, facilities, birds to photograph- and a cache! Good times!
**Logging late as I only just upgraded to premium**

I am spending the weekend down in the Port Elliot region. Armed with some various TOTTs, I am targeting caches requiring tools of the trade to access.
No tools required here, but it’s an oldie so I made a detour here for a quick find.
Thanks for the cache The 2 Dogs.

Thanks to all the CO's for placing these caches and bringing us to places we would normally not venture to.

Day 32 of our southern trip. We are Team "4 for QLD" - RoddyC, hatzofff, Snickersallan and Grannysmith1947.
Today's adventure takes us from Sedan to Victor Harbour and back.
Past the conveniences and into the bush.
Grabbed hold of the cache in one mighty whoosh
Grabbed it quite quickly, no need to push:
It's really quite easy - if noisy, just shush!
Log signed and cache replaced as found on February 10, 2022. TFTC, The 2 Dogs

What a lovely day for a drive with Purrfect Di ! Sun up, blue sky. We sadly got distracted by the views, and a garden centre but still enjoyed finding a few caches, including yours
Most were easy to locate today and in good condition. Always a treat to find a cache this old
Many thanks to The 2 Dogs for hiding this cache on our SA geo map game board
---
Geocaches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for mud, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about especially away from the city crowds,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

Stopped to have lunch and watch the surfers do their thing. It's a glorious day: blue sky, blue water, sun shining.
Saw this cache was nearby so popped out for an easy find.
Thanks Team Boomajarril for putting cache back into action.

Thanks to Team Boomajarril for your efforts in renewing this cache.
thewhitedoggang keeps an eye on this cache & maintains it as it was our first find 15 years ago
We replaced the container 26/01/19 & checked on it again 30/6/19 & 5/01/20
people kept finding some rubbish thinking it was the cache.
Anyway its all good now & I'm sure there is 2 caches at or near GZ.

Goodaye Tchingal,
Regarding: Dumpling's Stash GCQ173, in Port Elliot, South Australia
This is a really old cache (04/08/2005) and has a NM log on it from over 1 year ago. I note the CO lives intersate and is not doing maintenance on this anymore. I have done the maintenance as required as shown in my logs of 25 & 28 March 2021, with pictures to show contained in my log (it was the only way I could get them to you).
Can you please remove the NM log for us as I have performed the required maintenance. Then either you or I can remove the photos in my log showing the cache.
Thanks
