Sorry we couldn't find it. A lot of rubbish around - maybe it has been muggled. Tuccamore

13-Oct-06
Third time lucky, not at the top, but the extra couple of steps are worth it for the view.

13-Oct-06
Try this one

28-Jun-06
Really sad that i have to keep on replacing this one. I'll work out whether or not I'm going to keep trying. Sorry for the inconvience.

23-Jun-06

(& I did have the new co-ordinates)

Cheers.

Third time lucky with this one. We really want to keep it going if possible. The container is now smaller. Please cover it back up as much as possible. Co-ordinates are slightly changed again. Good Luck.

12-Apr-06
Please note the new co-ordinates.

12-Mar-06
Really not having any luck with this one. I'll rethink the placement of it.

04-Mar-06
Found the container and the log book in bits. Reckon I know where it was hidden but this appears to be a popular place with teenage drinkers.

Good luck finding a replacement spot for it. If you want me to mail the container back message me. I retrieved it as it was strewn around with the remains of the log book.

Sorry to be the bearer of muggly bad news.

Thanks again to Wombat33 for checking the cache. Its a bit low at the moment but I'll restock soon

07-Feb-06
Unfortunately been muggled again, I don't want to give up on it yet though. I will try again.

02-Feb-06
Great view!
Also interesting geologically (unusual rock structure)
Unfortunately the cache appears to have been Muggled.
Not much left in it / some obscene comments written in logbook (kids??)
And was very obvious / not hidden at all.

Before leaving the area I went online using the iPAQ and found this one had been reactivated (GSAK data is last month's). Entered the new cords and found easily. Love the view TFTH TNLNSL

I'll get this checked and fixed as soon as possible

After finding the spot that looked like it should be hiding a cache, I found no cache and a stash note.

Methinks this one has walked.

Else, I found a stray stash note!

30-Oct-05
So close to home, but never bothered.
Great views from here, also went back at night time to take
some photos of the lights
Some small rockpools from the rain last night still around the place. A worthwhile spot.

Bit of a wet day today so we didn't admire the views. There is a huge bees nest at the base of the rocks on the north side.

Thanks for the fiind

MissAdventure and I enjoyed our trip to Whayalla for the Weekend in Whyalla 4WD Event but it was time to head home so we started with the cache closest to TeamRaider(Mike's) place after a bit of a Macca's brekky and some fuel.
An easy find, in fact all too easy as some of the 'natural green' cammo has been pulled away from the cache. It might pay to reconsider this one soon.

Quite cool this evening with a haze over the western suburbs, but the view are still quite good. Left TB Sheldrake in this romantic spot.

Good views at GZ I think we came in from the north.

we could have walked from the bottem but was in a hurry to do more caches.
Took RockLobster ruler and left kangaroo

01-Oct-05
More nice views and I can see why it would be special to some. Took a dinosaur and left a snout. Cheers and thanks.

01-Oct-05
Found while in town for the 4WD Weekend. Thought rather than have the kids in the car all weekend would break it up with a few caches and this was first for the day. Found by Richary, Fab, Brett & Luke - took a dog nose and left a smiley ball.

As Fab said at the time, what a romantic idea for a cache. Cheers snowone.

After quickly stopping for a quick shopping run at the local rivers store. we went for a short detour on our way to the hotel to grab this one.

Great views from up there. Didnt realise how big whyalla actually is. Was a little windy today, but not enough to spoil things

Coincidence is a funny thing. I used to live down the other end of Lacey street when I started teaching about 32 years ago. Excellent spot, cache in good condition. tnln tftc. Start of a two week holiday with my wife, including some geocaching along the way.

02-Sep-05
First of two caches today (other cache being: Heavy Metal).
Found 02/09/05 (2nd September) @ 11:40am by Paul (Team Stargazer). Came up from Adelaide by bus yesterday to visit Mike (Team Raider) who now lives in Whyalla. This cache is only around 300 meters from where he lives atm and I was surprised that he hadn't made the short walk up here to log it yet. And would you believe as I was about to leave Mike turned up during his lunch break, knowing I was at the cache, but chose not to log it at this stage saying he'll wait till his better half was with him to complete the cache ... isn't he nice? [^]

Took: USA Geocoin
Left: Southern Rock Lobster measuring tool

Thanks snowone Wink

Great view, but very windy. I was afraid the log book was going to blow away when I put it down to do the swaps!
There were still a few little rock pools after last night’s rain – I suppose they won’t last long.
It was a good idea to put a desiccant sachet in the cache – a bit of the rain had already found its way inside.
Took mini spanner, left 3 animals and bottle-opener/key-ring. Also swapped geocoin for another one. Thanks snowone.

With the normal goodies is a Geocoin, first we've found.
