By the looks of the other messages it really is gone. I came by twice to search for it.
No problems with muggles, and clear directions, but after long time searching, could not find. Suspect someone removed it. Confirm if still there.
With Skipair who had done this before and confirmed it has disappeared. Great spot though
No joy with this one in terms of adding another smiley. However, it is a great spot to visit early in the morning! The mad surfers were certainly not put off by the miserable weather - the car park was filling up quickly while we were there, and they went straight into the murky, icy waves.
It would be nice to see this cache replaced as it is a worthy place to lure cachers to.

This was my first find back in January, but didn't have pen, finally got back to sign, but its been muggled. Great spot.

Found something that might have been it but couldn't move it so maybe it wasn't it.
On a Tazzie Tour in the company of Mtbikeroz, this could NOT be found. Saw up the hole where it WAS by all the scrape marks but it is simply NOT THERE now. Pity...lovely area too. Took lots of pics of Neptune anyway.
Unable to find despite a lot of time searching for all the most devious types of cache.
Got the place to myself but I could not find it,even with my mirror. Thanks for the hunt.
Not too many muggles today and the clue helped a lot. Log was pretty full and hard to find any blank space in the time between muggles.
Gave up on this one was in the area and thought that it might be worth a try but no luck
It was very cold and windy standing out there having to wait for muggles. Suddenly remembered the clue and had the cache in hand. SL TFTC
Found thus whilst burning time waiting for the boat to take us back to the mainland at the end of our trip around Tassi.
Another reason to re-visit a great lookout point. Like the statue.
Enjoyed the fact out GPS thought we were on the ferry as we departed for our next cache and told us to 'depart the ferry' and then begin to turn various streets.

Found after reading the clue as Mrs M somehow thought it was a nano. Very few muggles and a quick get once we sussed it out properly. TFTC
What a lovely foreshore! The hint led us straight to the cache. Luckily we didn't have to contend with too many muggles as geokid had to stretch to return the cache to its position. TFTC.
After a day voyage from Melbourne and some sleep at a local motel, Mollypix and I eventually found this one after looking everywhere except the most obvious spot! An imposing statue - pity it wasn't Aboriginal but I get the sea theme. Interesting vantage point for this neck of the woods. TFTC.
With the GPS'r taking us near the North East of the structure, after 15mins, we gave up, walking back, I noticed a likely spot, and a quick check, we found the cache.

Retrieved it easily enough but had to wait until a family of fishing muggles was falling over on the rocks to replace it. As said before the nifty little log book is full.
An easy find, just had to wait for one muggle family to depart. The log is a mess, we had to write over other logs. Urgently needs new log sheet.
We are on an “Escaping Christmas” and “Geocaching” holiday in Tasmania. Lots of muggles here. With the help of the hint we thought we knew where the cache was located but couldn’t get to it due to being vertically challenged and a couple of fishermen. Marco jumped the fence to get a better angle and found the cache. He managed to remove it whilst the fishermen were busy. Once we had it out another three groups of muggles arrived. We had to be patient and waited for the right moment to replace the cache. TNLNSL TFTC
Found this with TassieGirl13 while holidaying around Tassie over Christmas.
A nice quick find for us, no one else around today so we had the place to ourselves.
Some great views to enjoy,

Found on our Lap of Tassie trip. We have taken nearly four weeks, and this cache complete the lap of Tassie! It was all quiet here today, and we were able to search, locate and retrieve the cache in privacy. TFTC

Found with JDSavannah as the Spirit of Tasmania departed for Melbourne. Quite an awesome sight! Part of our pre-Xmas trip in Tazzie. (Sorry for the late log).
We had to outwait a pair of muggles who were trying to re-write parts of the Decamaron! After they finally departed the scene (it was getting pretty cool in the stiff breeze) we retrieved the prize even though it was out of reach without a step-up (and I don't consider myself vertically challenged).

Found in between muggles coming & going & was almost spotted by a lone boy fishing off the rocks below. The GPS was a bit haphazard, then I used the clue when read that a previous cache used the clue due to co-ords being off.
I never realised that the king of the sea actually has water spraying on & from him!

The search for this one required the use of the hint as the GPSr displayed GZ some distance from the actual hide. Once the hint was consulted the prize was soon in the hands of geoD.

#711 @ 9.20am on our Tassie Caching Adventure with DazzPete. Our second find for the morning and Devonport put on a spectacular day for us. A great spot to visit & although the co-ords were a little off, GeoD employed the hint & came up with the find.
TNLNSL TFTC - a ripper spot to visit. Cheers [^]

Took a while as the area was thick with muggles but we got there in the end. It was a great day to be there, sunny and calm. TFTC
After a couple of failed attempts at nearby caches, I ended up here. For once it was clear of muggles (probably due to being dark and rainy and the Spirit having already left by this stage). Apart from the fact that my walking stick fell through the floor, it was a quick matter to find the cache and sign the log. TFTC
Nice little spot. Fairly calm on the seas today compared to last time I was here! Couple more caches then onto the ferry. TFTC
A quick find this afternoon on our visit to Devonport - thanks for the cache, loved the view. Andrew and Maryan.
Found it this morning with Mrs Iamapom (this log submitted from The Spirit of Tasmania in the middle of Bass Straight) - nice and easy with the hint. Very few muggles around. Dont drop it ! TFTC
Nice Statue, Great hint, would not have found without it

Got this one as a bonus for today. Couple of muggles came out during the find process. Waited till they went and logged the cache at 1715hrs. Thanks for taking me to something that I did not know was there. Cheers OldSaint.
Two out of two for me this afternoon. Hamburgers smelt good that someone was cooking.

Got some lunch and heazle1 and I took a walk out to see what we could find, a few muggles around but we just made out we were here to take pics and quickly found cache signed and put back in place without being noticed. TFTC.
A nice quick find in the dark, and no muggles around made it easy. Cheers Gav [6006]
Visiting from SA. A quick walk to the coast from the hotel. Had to be quick due to muggles in the carpark preparing to enter gz area. Also it is getting dark. Very nice hide, walk up sign and depart. I think this is our first Tassie find!
Great little spot to visit, looking out to see after just arriving on the Spirit of Tasmania. Thanks for the cache.
fantastic spot early in the morning, the Devonport foreshore out this way is very scenic and Neptune is quite the picture with the sun beaming from behind.... second find in Tassie after getting of that boat that rocked and rolled all night! Didn't realise in the dark how narrow the shipping channel is.....
cheers 4 da cache Tassie Devils!

Whilst waiting for all backs to be turned, one of the smaller mugglers caught a cockie salmon all of 15cm long. He did the right thing and sent it back to his mother. I have looked at this cache before and no matter how or where I looked it always escaped me, but each time I had neither looking time nor opportunity to rate this as a DNF. This time, at the first safe time to reach for the cache it fell into my hand. TMLNSL TFTC

Find number 20 for the 25th day of our trip to Tasmania and the Mega Event. Found at 1555 hrs, find number 305 for the trip so far. Easy find, but difficult retrieval. Fishing and sightseeing muggles meant retrieval was impossible. Fortunately, one of the fishing ones actually caught a fish, which drew everyones attention. This was my chance, I grabbed it and signed the log. Replaced a bit more easily.
Cheers

With a group of us now looking for caches this became a race to the cache! Plenty of hands make light work so they say and with no muggles about I retrievd the cache quickly. Its amazing what a challenge does to make it a quick find. TFTC.
Second attempt... no one fishing and glaring today, and no muggles on the platform or anywhere nearby. Logtime 9.30 am.

dont know what all the fuss was about this big guy i like it easy find but real windy today
A little windy and a few muggles about. After waiting for a little while muggles departed. Grab cache quickly logged in and replaced just as more muggles were about to make their way to platform. Great cache thanks
This is certainly a very controversial art installation in Devonport. In fact, many complain that it is not art but a hideous creation. There have been threats of mutilation of certain parts of the anatomy of the sculpture although the sculpture being placed on an excessively high plinth may make this a difficult task. The fact that it was cast in one piece also makes mutilation more difficult. Ignoring the statue, the improvements to the foreshore in this area are tremendous although we are still yet to see anyone catching a fish from the fishing platform. The cache was an easy find but retrieval was not easy. One of us had to climb the fence and complete the retrieval because the container had been pushed in too far. It is very windy today and there is quite a swell at the mouth of the Mersey. Thanks for the cache Tassie devils.

cache had been pushed a little far into its hide. Had to jump off the platform to retrieve it.
On a misty morning straight off the ferry, had lovely walk up to the point. Geo-son soon found the cache but arm was too short.
Bit of 'lengthy' assistance and he was soon signing log. TFTC.

Found the cache although the pole is lying on the ground. Had to climb the fence and walk on the rocks. Log book is full and needs replacing. TFTC
Probably very good timing, the boat had just passed by minutes before I got there and there was a mini-exodus as I was parking. Apart from one couple who I'm sure were just there to make my life difficult.
Identify likely spot. Check. Check clue to confirm. Check. Read info board. Check. Look at watch. Check. Pretend to take photo of Neptune. Check. Tap feet. Check. Wait. Check. Tick tock, tick tock.... finally they go and I can do the logging thing. Thanks for the cache.

What a briliant location. Great spot right at the heads. Would have been good to see a large ship go through. Maybe next time.
Log full and comletely wet. I left a 5 cent piece as i could not get the pen to write on log
Thanks for bringing me out here.

Thought we would do a Quickie before heading back to the mainland but a couple of muggles took a couple of thousand photos and we had to wait a while to try it. The log was a soggy mass no hope of writing in it really needs some maintenance but great spot.
Actually found this one when we did the caching event but when I went today and didn't find it. Not sure whether it had been put back a bit out of my reach perhaps. Didn't have much time for stretching so I'll go back on another day with someone taller. Thanks for the great spot though, loved the statue too.
Found easily by my daughter on her first caching trip!! Great day, sun was shining - a bit windy though!.. Thanks for the cache.
Down is Tassie for work, and I had the day off. I came up to Devonport from Launceston because I wanted to get the nearby Earthcache. I stopped here after grabbing a bite to eat. I should have waited in the car 5 more minutes, because it was raining cats and dogs when I went for the cache. The cache was easy enough to grab as no one execpt me was out in that kind of weather. Signed log.

Found this one second time around. Too many muggles the first time around. Located easily as had a fair idea of where it was. Very windy today. SL.
So hard to be discreet. Nice little hide. Amazing scribble from previous finder, guess he forgot the pen. TFTC
