I had no luck with another multi along the trail so it was great to have success here. However the magnet no longer works and I found the cache on the ground. Thanks for the encouragement to wander this part of the trail.
On my own this morning, it's a beautiful autumn day perfect for a walk along this very nice trail, to find this Golden Oldie multi.. I could have quite easily kept walking for many km...Thankfull for the noisy Geo trail that led me in the right direction of this cache See photo for interesting kind of bridge construction..
Yuk! It’s in the wet side but very happy to find this soggy cache. TFTC.

Found on the ground full of water. Put a new log sheet in a new plastic bag into cache container and replaced in correct spot. Magnet not very sticky/strong. CO to check? Oh, and watch out for the snake!
TFTC Rebel Acts,
Another Maths marathon and another successful Log. The cows standing in the rain watched me. Doesn't Leather shrink when it gets wet?

Still out there searching for his beloved Zuul. Vinz has received a lead from one of those online trolls he he deduces that if a troll knows her whereabouts, then perhaps bridges must be involved, so here are some bridges, maybe Zuul is here.
After once again applying his excellent grasp on numbers (Gozer did give him keys, not combinations, for a reason) and searching below the structure, finally Vinz was rewarded with discovery of an artifact.
Alas this artifact holds no clue to Zuul, so Vinz once again leaves his mark within its record and continues his never ending search.

Convinced Zeus to find a couple of caches today seeing as he was working in the Valley. Not magnetised anymore but found safe and sound where it should be.
With the easing of distance restrictions, and with no power or phone service at home after wild storms, a spot of bike caching was in order.
The trail was quieter than usual on a grey afternoon, so muggles were less of a problem to a trolling geocacher.
Some quick calcs, a short ride, and a quick find in the slippery conditions. This container seems to have lost its attractive power, but is safe and sound.

With my wife looking for a long run on a rail trail, the Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail was suggested. As such with my wife doing that 35+ Kiliometer run, we had some Geocaching time before having to meet her in Warburton. With my L Plate son driving, 999HK helping and me navigating, we were able to find 15 caches for the day
After caching in Lilydale, we drove down to Launching Place to be closer to Warburton, in case my wife said she was finished. We parked at the Launching Place Hotel and climbed up and over the ridge to get onto the rail trail.
Stopping at the traffic lights, we were able to quickly get the information needed and soon closed with the lights over the highway guessing which way the cache would be. We then worked out the final and strolled down enjoying the area. The magnet is no longer working but the cache is in good, if old condition.
Thanks for the cache Rebel Acts

Dad and boy headed out on our mountain bikes today. Trail was really busy at Woori Yallock but quiet red down a bit as we headed east.
We had solved the puzzle a year ago, but re-checked today just to be sure. Cache quickly found - magnets not working so well but safe in situ.

Picked up a few of these trail caches on this glorious day. Had to wait for a few bike riding muggles to pass then it was trekking through long grass to find this one.
Caching day with Geofriends at this area, thank you so much for placing it Rebel Acts.

Friday, my day off, nothing to do at home (well, nothing I want to do) a free run, yippee!!!
Pulled into the pub car-park with a slight drizzle falling, I gathered the clues and headed for the prize with the drizzle just picking up a little. Found the prize as that unique sound of a bicycle trundling across the bridge made me jump.
Magnet has separated from the metal carrier which is still stuck to the bottom of the container. Container is still good and dry, it just doesn't stick to the girder any more. It's safe and sound on the brick pillar.

Riding along the Warburton trail again with Swedishchef. ( muggle friend) who gets used to me stopping and looking for “treasures” as he calls caches. Each time I find a few so there are some when we come back for the views and exercise again along this trail. Explored some of the multis this time and retrieved some information for next time. On the way back from Warburton had worked out the coordinates over lunch. Stopped in the heat on the trail to have a break. (Getting to know these bridges in an intimate way!) - tackled the undergrowth - bit harder this one - had a look then spotted - all good - thanks for the cache Rebel Acts .
As was becoming the theme for today, MobtsII rushed off while I was calculating the coordinates for this one. I was slightly vindicated with his lack of waiting when I walked up to find him searching the wrong “obvious spot”. However once I announced it to him, there was no waiting as he rushed off ahead, making the find as the worlds slowest bike rider drove past! But at least she was out there trying! TFTC Rebel Acts
Found today as part of the Yarra Expedition 10 on bikes.
Really enjoyed the ride along here and the bridge series. Checked in the logical spots each time and got the win.

After attending the *Yarra Expedition #10* event this morning we then explored the area following the river between Warburton and Woori Yallock.
It was a great time to be out on this sunny winter day covering some of this trail by bike.
We pretty much had this trail to ourselves today - not too many muggles to worry about. The cache is well hidden from muggles but a straightforward find for cachers.
One more GC6 ticked off.

The Yarra event has been a must attend series of events for me, especially as it is getting close to the end. The weather was looking good, but due to a sore foot, I decided not to take part in the riding portion of the day. I picked up sedgwickDave at 8 and off we went.
Multi number 3 today, a bit of a walk for someone with a dodgy foot, but it was getting better.
Many thanks to Rebel Acts for the cache. TNLN.

Out on a training walk with Lost_and_Found_79 for the upcoming Oxfam trailwalker event in this area. On a previous walk we had picked up the required information but were heading in the opposite direction and so resolved not to backtrack on that particular day knowing we would be passing again. Having completed our walk to day we were able to park near this one and stroll to GZ. This one was particularity straight forward to collect the numbers and after a brief search in GZ we had the cache in hand. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Having finished a training walk disguised as a caching trip, Annoying Tarbit and I headed to collect a few multi caches along the Warby Trail. We'd picked up the necessary information a few weeks ago, but had left the retrieval's for a day that didn't involve huge distances (or at least, not so huge). With the backpacks ditched and the bare essentials being carried (GPS, phone, pen), it was a pleasant walk. AT made the find at GZ, continuing the general theme of the training walks so far! TFTC!

I jotted down the required numbers as we emerged into the din from a peaceful stretch of the rail trail while passing eastwards. Found the cache quite a few hours later when passing back westwards on a walk between Mt Evelyn and Millgrove with Oxfam trailwalker peeps. GZ seemed worringly snakey at this time of year, but a smiley was at stake so I gleefully risked everything. I lived to tell this tale. Evidently. Thanks Rebel Acts!
Continuing along the trail. I grabbed this one. Loved these bridges. Log signed and all back again.
Came here this afternoon to ride some of the Trail and find a few Caches. This is a great trail to ride, thanks to Rebel Acts for placing these Caches and bringing us here. Well done.

First we got the coordinates wrong but still found a bridge. Recalculated and then found the right bridge. Thanx
Took a muggle and two of her boys caching (for the first time) on the trail. We had parked other side of town and started off with there but the boys (mine included) were restless while I was trying to figure out the coordinates so I took the necessary info and we started cycling towards the Lilydale end. My muggle friend and all the boys cycled way ahead even though I had told them only 150m to go. We had already found the numbers for this so this gave me and geogirl time to figure out the final coordinates by the time they came back to us. We were able to explain the parts of the bridge which is another reason I go caching. I made the find and the Munzee find for the hubby too. Thanks for the cache Rebel Acts. Time to get soe weary kids back to the cars. It will be over 10km we did today.
While on our way for our annual June weekend away at Milgrove we had a bit of time to spare. Parked at the pub and walked three from here. Picked up the clue and solved moved onto gz. Nice easy find. It was just lovely walking along this path. Thanks for bringing us here

Oops, over indulged at a local bakery so felt the need to have a bit of a walk! So grovelling around troll-like seemed a good idea tho perhaps not on such a full stomach Still, couldn't go past the chance to grab a couple more on the trail - thanks for a great series
I had to cross that damn road more than I should have, but got it sorted in the end. Thanks Rebel Acts
Found it! M and Geokid 1 out to conquer Warby and the upper trail caches on our bikes. Grabbed the clue whilst waiting for the lights to change. Geokid did the maths (as always) and then off to the bridge to get the cache. Stopped on route to grab a nearby traditional and found this one easily on arrival at the bridge...TFTC
I found this geocache as part of a morning hike along the Warburton trail with my 5 year old son. Most of the time he was on my shoulders and he ways about the same as my full pack, so I guess it was good training.
Geoson found the required numbers at GZ and I worked out the final co-ords. We headed off to a nice easy find. First place I looked. Getting the hang of it now, Geo-eyes are in and raring to go.

We used the great weather to bike along the Lilydale-Warburton rail trail this weekend. The trip had a bit of everything: scenic views, sunshine, a flat tire and lots of caches. We want to thank the cache owners for all the effort they put into creating and maintaining their caches.
I found the information for this last week, but there were men working on the bridge and I had to leave it. Went back again this morning and found it. Tftc. Thanks also for the, unexpected, Munzee.

Found on evening bike ride with GUNKS, picked up a few multi-caches along the way, TFTC.
Found this one today. I have previously attempted this one with Irontoad not realising at that time that it was a multi and consequently didn't find the cache! Today I found the clues quite easily but when I got to GZ - I looked and I went I really have to go down there! It was fine apart from the thorns, thistles and other weeds that had grown up to about 6 feet tall (so they were the same size as me!). I managed to find a way slowly through them and luckily found the cache very quickly and log signed with no swaps. I then spent ages getting rid of the burrs and other things that had attached themselves to me. I well and truly earned the cache smile today.
Thanks for the cache Rebel Acts.

Second of five for the day and we made hard work of it! A silly mistake saw us heading in the right direction although it was simple enough when you read the numbers right. Lovely stroll along the trail with a perfect view of the mountains as the fog cleared.

The Demolition Crew was together again on our regular Monday night caching run. The night was full of caches finds, laughs and a fair distance traveled tonight with our route taking us right out to Warburton then back into the city. We had a great night finding quite a few multis and even managed a FTF as well. Thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches that we found tonight.
Found while out on another legendary Demolition Crew run starting in the Melbourne area, making a big loop out Warburton way then back to the CBD. A great night caching with lots of laughs as usual, and great company of course. Lots of multi and a few mystery cache finds, and even a FTF. Thanks to all the CO's who put out the caches we found on the night.

The Demolition Crew meet once again to cache in Melbourne tonight. Tonight we had not really prepared a run, so it was a matter of "going with the flow" and looking for caches of opportunitiy in the eastern and outer eastern areas of Melbourne. THis one was found in the company of the CO. Thanks.
It is strange how some caches just seem to stump you. This has been one of them.
I camp in the area for a week between Christmas and New Year each year. Have done so for nearly 20 years. For a number of years I have attempted to find this cache. Muggles, High Grass, or simply looking in the wrong spot has resulted in many failures. This time I decided to take a wide arc for my search, and there it was in plain view.
The cache was very wet so attempted to dry it a bit. Did not sign the log as it was soaked. I normally carry a spare cache container but I recently used that. Would recommend that the cache container be replaced and a new log book.
TNLN, T4TC.
Cheers,
Ric

Wicked Cache.I walked to this one, rather than ran. For the sun finally came out!
Under the bridge I walked, still no GPS in hand unsure if I was at the right bridge?Found it real quick! To easy! Where some cute trinkets inside.
Read the log book, some awesome stories in there. Wrote my story. Can't remember what I wrote now?
Put it where I found it, and walked back onto the track. Then, right there walked a lady with her baby and her stroller. She watched me come out from underneath the bridge and she looked at me quite funny. I swear she thought that I had just come out from underneath the bridge after shooting up! Ha, let the people think what they want.
