My GPS had me doing circles, but as soon as I was in the right area, I saw it straight away.
All good here! Cache is dry and safe.
Thanks for another one!

At work Saturday Finally could get parking. Nice walkway for the rowers from west end. Track still not open officially
Glad we had our gumboots for this walk. This area seems to be a favourite dumping spot but the walk to get here was enjoyable. The cache itself was in much better order than Oh wow B, but both were still signable. Thanks for bringing us here !
Quick find after a meeting nearby. My work attire was not particularly suitable to the environment but luckily not too biggy underfoot for the work shoes! Cache in good Nick. TFTC.
Carried walking along the track and past the fenced off area, to reach the GZ. Another quick find, picked up TB, cheers
With family... Visiting Auckland over the weekend for a mini break...
It’s hard trying to geocache with people that don’t share your passion... I could go berserk chasing down numbers today, but I feel guilty that I am intruding in the activity of others. I am resigned to picking up the odd few in passing...
We ignored the track closure sign. Things weren’t as rough as we were expecting... A quick scramble in the scrub and we had this in hand. TFTC.

Visiting family north of Auckland.
We stopped to find caches along the road, pulling up where we considered it safe.
Had to make a stop on the way to have a NZ famous Hokey Pokey ice cream.
We took a couple of TBs & left 1 behind.
Thanks for placing this cache sp8sm8

Found it just before dark. No pen so I scratched my entry in logbook with a pair of pointy scissors! Dropped a couple of trackables. Cheers!
I had a meeting to go to on Rosebank road but I was running early so what better way to kill time than to grab a local cache or two It was pretty busy in the industrial area but once at the walkway I was out of sight. A quick dash around the fence and the cache was found nice and dry tucked away TFTC!
The path has now been fenced off but cache is still accessible. Cache is still in good condition and another number collected for the final. TFTC.
I had to walk through the long wet grass that was the forgotten and neglected walking path to get near GZ. Cacheall in good shape though.TFTC
This took far longer to find then it should have, With the barriers in place some how im not convinced they are ever going to fix this forgotten trail
The area is fenced off due to the slip, but you can skirt around the barrier and up the hillside to safely find the cache.
Had a little bit of extra time this morning, so came by to find this before work. The trail is still fenced off, but it's easy enough to get around the barrier, and the cache is not too far away from where it's been blocked. Spent a few minutes looking before finding the container, but it's in good shape. Picked up the clue and a TB. Thanks for the cache!
Detour on my way home to get the last geocache of the day. If you enter from the parking coords you can sneak around the fence and find the geocache safely. TFTC
Walked along here from Saunders and unfortunately the track was closed due to a slip and we were still over 200m away. Not sure if you can access from other end of track and after looking for another cache along here without luck, we couldn't be bothered trying. Maybe in the summer when it is definitely reopened and not so muddy!
I see this cache has been here awhile!! I bet it has seen a few log books too. A nice drive by as I was heading home. Been meaning to come here for some time to try and finish of Rosebank area. A quick park up in the company carpark on a Sunday afternoon and I soon had the cache in hand. Cheers sp8m8 for keeping this one going.
Great place to walk the geodog as with the signs you really have the place to yourself. Albert not so keen on the puddles as he is a bit of a sook for a big dog but plenty of items to sniff out. Resident ducks left promptly. GZ quickly found and straight to the cache. All is good with the log but the items were looking a little underwhelming so in return for a raccoon card I left a new set of wheels and a couple of soldiers to keep an eye on the cache. TFTC. Forgot to grab code, oops.
Nice quick find on a drizzly Sunday morning. Simply the best time as there were no parking problems. Kiwiscot a bit hesitant about passing an obstacle but followed with persuasion. TFTC.
Judging by the rust on the gate, this place has been closed for a really long time. If there is a risk of avalanche, the buildings above should be more worried.
The cache was covered so well it led me right to it. TFTC.

As hinted! Had to ignore signs of slip at either end of path but found no sign of a slip. Extreme way of detrring muggels? TFTC
Yup there was this giant space under a tree next to the sign and gate. And obvious tracks in the path so we reckoned it was ok. Found the geocache, but had no toys!
Nice cache and logbook. Although the walkway is temporary closed. Thanks and greetings from Latvia!

Oh, Wow, I did not realize this is a series and didn't check the number -_-
Anyway, yes, the walkway is kinda "closed" (because of land slip) but no problems getting to the cache.
Thanks for the cache! Happy New Year!

#287. It's been a while since I did a bunch of caches in one day and this was my first find today after trying to find a previous cache and failing earlier this morning. Like others have said, the track is closed but the cache is easily accessible.
Today I was focusing on filling up my D/T matrix and this one gets me one step closer to 81.

Thisa section of the track remains closed. Nice and quiet on a weekday. Not a muggle in sight. TFTC.
Track still closed but cache safely accessible, shame they do not re open this pretty walk. One step closer to the bonus.
#170 I have been wanting to nail this one off the list for a while now. Rainy day but nicely sheltered under the tree canopy. Found after a few false trails. Cache nice and dry.

we were there for the community tree planting event and tout to iv a look for near by cache. Good hide and very well maintained lo book.
My GPS also sent me a little askew. I recommend that once you get around the gate to follow the path, rather than launch straight up the hill like I did. The path is safe in the area that you need to go.
Like most people I was drawn to this cache because of it's rare D/T rating. After making my way around the gate, not hard, I took the long way through the bush to the find, cursing both my GPS and phone on the way.

I decided this afternoon to visit a few caches in Auckland to complete my months found calendar. So I mainly targeted some old caches and there are a lot in this area !
The weather is pretty nice and I will not need my rain coat and enjoyed the sun nearly all over the afternoon. Only issue in winter : at 5pm, the sun has disappeared and I used a light to find the 2 last caches of the day !
Access to the cache spot is blocked as the track has suffered some land slips. Fortunately, the cache is very close to the start of the track and I managed to reach it.
All is in good condition.

I'd just picked up #B so continued along the path to get this one, What a shame the walkway hasn't been maintained, it could be a lovely walk. I knew I could ignore the Walkway closed signs because of recent logs, but wasn't expecting to have to navigate around a barrier as well! I could see why the barrier had been put there though. There was a chilly bin and blanket very close to GZ, so wonder if someone is sleeping rough nearby. Cache was found easily thanks to the hint.
Slowly working my way through this series! have walked along here before, sad the council it neglecting the weed control. Bought son along for the short walk, looks like some recent human activity near GZ, maybe a homeless person or local youth? found cache following the hint, thanks for the hide.
After collecting the nearby Wow #B, I decided that I just needed to collect this one as well. This was a straight forward find, (thanks to the hint). Just a little nervous circumnavigating around the barrier, but all safe and sound. TFTC!
Quick find at gz! I almost forgot to note the number getting back to the track when I remembered! Tftc
On the bicycle for the first time after hand surgery and sore feet problem. Not willing to push the bike on the walkway from Oh Wow #B, so cycled round by road. Met a few friendly dog walkers, and appreciated going the extra 80 metres to see the view to Kelston. Cheers.
After spending a lot of time on the North Western Cycleway looking for caches which are mostly affected by the motorway works, and not not finding any, cos they are now in the construction zone, we decided to check out Rosebank Peninsula. This was a relatively quick find after following the clues.
Nice walk even though a sign said the walkway was closed. We met a couple of dog walkers who said it was ok, so off we went. GPS had a bit of an identity crisis before settling down and leading the way. The clue was a big help too. Cache in good condition and the contents were lovely and dry. Thanks for the cache
I'm thinking this might be a nice spot for Kiwi TB to nestle in before his next journey... Just have another cache to check first...

Making our way back from a memorial service for a long dead family member and wanted to keep filling in those dot days and this fitted the bill nicely, GZ all quiet

Spent a bit of time searching around GZ as GPS had a hissey fit and wouldn't settle down. Dropped off 1 TB and picked 1 up. Tftc
Found the right tree down. After taken the wrong turn haha. Left ladybug, will home in it's surroundings
Nice quick find, doesn't look like this track is used much - although we suspect its been cordoned off at both ends due to a huge tree over the track. tftc
Swung by to visit this one the way home from work for my cache for the day in failing light. All found safe and sound after a wee bush bash and then a search for the hinted item. Thanks!
Another day out in the rain in Auckland....so what's new. Had similar trouble to others. Clue, and GZ spot on but still a bit of a challenge finding it.
Nice easy clue , but seemed to still take us a while nonetheless ! Must have been well re-hidden by the last folk ! TFTC
I had recently read about this walkway in the local newspaper so it was a good opportunity to check it out and grab a couple of caches. TFTC.
Needed a find for 11th May so took SquishyD out for a brief walk and some treasure hunting (her name for Geocaching). Parked in a nearby road and quickly walked towards GZ. However, the short walk through the shrubs probably took just as long as the walk from the car, as it was not a straightforward task for my 3 year old. Once at GZ, the cache was located after a brief search, and then again we manoeuvred through the trees back to the path.

Another easy find once we had battled our way through the scrub!

Our no 2100. To our surprise, after reading logs, the d/t rating seemed quite accurate. Parking on a Sat am was easy but roadworks made "b" all but impossible to drive to. NINO TFTC
Came over after dinner to avoid the parking problem. Only found 2 'Oh Wow's the last one in may 08 - hope it doesn't take the same time befor the next one. TFTC
#1100. Definitely an 'Oh Wow' moment when I finally found it. So much windfall, debris and bits of trees all over the place made this cache a bit of a struggle to find. TFTC.
Came for a walk after buying some body parts from a nearby mannikin factory shop. Master Jackson made the find. Swapped trackables. Had some fun on the nearby logs. Thanks for bringing us to this little known reserve.
Gps signal a bit off in the bush but found after a short search after discovering a named walkway through here

Found it eventually, GPS was all over the place for a while. Dropped off a Travel Bug. TFTC
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We decided to spend the day knocking off a few more caches out west.
After collecting the caches along the NW motorway cycleway, we headed along Rosebank Road to pick up a couple more of the Oh Wow caches.
Took a bit of a search in the bush, but we found the cache soon enough.
Dropped of TB.

Found with Mike-miss this morning on the way north to tackle the puppy power trail. Nice area, but a bit soggy underfoot.
Out this way this morning with stretch.kerr on the way to Riverhead to do the Puppy Powertrail. This one was a quick find but with the overnight rain, it was really wet underfoot. Another step closer to completing this series. TFTC!
Finally! I have been out a couple of times to grab this one without any luck. I saw the maintenance post on this one and knew I needed to get out and have a look before too much time had passed. This was the last cache in the series before the bonus cache that I needed to get. I’ve had a look for that one, but without the number from this cache it’s a relatively decent sized area to search so I’m glad to finally get this one done. It was a beautiful moonlit night to go caching and a fairly quick find. TFTC!
Always a bad omen when your first for the day is a DNF ! Found the likely candidate after wadding through the rubbish on the other side of trees but no luck for us.
On a mission tonight to collect a swag of the Oh Wow series. I actually walk this trail a week or two back. At the time I thought to myself: "I bet I am walking past a cache". I most certainly was; a cache I needed for this series even!
Nice easy find in some awkward terrain. Half the required information has now been collected. Cheers for the cache!

Went in search of this cache, while my daughter was warming up for her football game at Eastdale Reserve. Brought a family friend along and introduced her to geocaching. TFTC
Can confirm this one is safe and well. It was dark by the time I came for this one and after reading sonia26642 log about the 'body bags' I was keen to find it and get going! Luckily I rracked the cache down without too much trouble, TFTC!
I was going in to find this one just as it was getting dark... Muggle was coming past me in the opposite direction on the path as I was heading down, with 2 huge black "body-bag" -like sacks... that was a little scary...
So anyways, I went off, and tried to find it, with no luck... And it was getting dark, and I wanted to make it home before sunset, so unfortunately didn't find the cache... but plan to be back...
At least I got a nice photo...

4254 Nice little walkway, the dogs enjoyed the last chance for the night to run free and stretch their legs. Thanks for the cache placement.
Checked the cache, and while all is well unfortunately there are no trackables present.
Hi Dear Cachers,
could one of the next finders please be so kind and check on the TB, wether or not it is still there?
I would highly appreciate a short confirmation or even a ride for it
Thanks so much. Regs Sökande
