Found on a mega caching trip to Dubbo

21-Feb-10
Found at 17:30 with frogdude and frogbabe - the thirty-third on our Dubbo weekend.

Another nice rest and recreation area - Grenfell is blessed with a few of them.

A couple of wasps were guarding this cache, though I didn't see their nest. Once they flew off, the cache was grabbed, signed and replaced before they returned. You might want to watch out for them.

Thanks Sundowners Smile

13-Oct-09
Popped down to Grenfell to visit my eldest daughter, and we were at this park attempting to fly a kite. My youngest daughter found a noisy miner fledgling on the ground and as we were unable to locate the nest we took it back to the B&B to find out what to do with it. A call to WIRES later and we returned to the park to put "Sugarplum" (or "Plummet" for short) on a low branch, and one of its parents immediately came and fed it, which was nice for the kids to see Smile I knew there was a cache here, so had a quick look around and soon had it in hand with no need for coordinates or clues. Wink

Found this one just before dark. The geohounds really enjoyed stretching their legs here. Found cache was severly water logged (also fractured it as we retrieved it) so we replaced with a new one and put the log in a small plastic bag for some protection.
