Found with Gazania Rigens and Wombatwandering. We enjoyed our stopover here for a cup of tea and a variety of satisfying caches.I got the right (and obvious) spot but my fingers didn't detect the cache. New growth has made reaching it a little harder than when it was first placed, but Wombatw insisted a little more and had no trouble!
Wombat, Zouave and I went for a walk to the lighthouse and then did the various local caches. I liked this town, there were some lovely gardens. I did the maths for this multi and then we walked to GZ where we missed the cache at first, but Wombat had better eyes and spotted the cache. TFTC!
Gazania Rigens, Zouavesauvage, and I stopped in at Aireys Inlet and made our way to the lighthouse. After watching a Wattle bird gorge itself on jam at the cafe, we started on the Ad labs and this multi. The coords were worked out and after a short search at GZ and a bit of a fumble, the cache was found. Dropped off a TB. Thanks!
Grabbed the clues on the way up. Unfortunately then the rain came in, which made for a pretty miserable time at the earth cache and then on the walk back down to the car. Very wet and soggy, but this quiche was a joy to find. tftc
Checked on this one, all good here. We gave it a new container with a stronger attachment device.
During our two-month trip through New Zealand and Australia, we arrived in Geelong this morning by night boat from Tasmania. From Geelong we drive to Appolo Bay via the Great Ocean Road.Along the way we also stopped at the Airey's Inlet Lighthouse. It was very busy but we managed to do this multi. The cache was found a little later.**suss vulture**, thanks for the cache.
We are currently on a eight week holiday which is mostly spent in New Zealand and Australia. However, the first three days were spent in Singapore as a nice break from an otherwise long flight. We had about three weeks in New Zealand which went by too quickly. The remaining five weeks are spent in Australia. The last days were spent in Cradle Mountain which we absolutely loved. Yesterday we drove to Devonport and last night the Spirit of Tasmania will ferry us back to the mainland. Our destination for today is Apolo Bay. A short drive zo we have several stops for sightseeing and/or geocaching. We visited Split Point Lighthouse which we remembered from the childhood series Around the Twist. Since it is a very lovely area we have a nice walk on which we also pass the waypoint of this multi. The needed information is retrieved and after a short calculation we have the end coords. Not much letter the cache is found. Thank you very much for this one legged multi.
A great straightforward offset multi and a good-sized cache at GZ.We headed off down the Great Ocean Road for a few days for a belated wedding anniversary celebration. The weather was kind and the scenery along the road spectacular. We based ourselves in Lorne and then tripped around checking out the local places. While we had visited the area some time ago it was great to spend more time exploring the area, and of course the caching.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache suss vulture.**SKI Pair****
After looking around the lighthouse, we solved the info, walked to GZ and made a relatively quick find. TFTC
After refreshments at the lighthouse cafe and lighthouse viewing we went for this quick off set multi. Soon found when GPS settled. Tftc
Lovely walk around town collected the Information but couldn't locate this cache..I think my Geo senses had gone to sleep
In the area grabbing the AdLabs and this Multi popped up on my phone. Nice. Some numbers crunched and after visiting the lighthouse and viewing platforms we found this hide on the way back to the car.TFTC

Zlat Amerika !In Melbourne rain again this morning. So I leave and drive to the Great Ocean Road. I make a little detour and found some challengies in countryside. Than I spend whole day on the GOR and found some caches there and finished my way in Apollo Bay where my booked and payed accomodation was occupied ! Shit ! I need to drive another 65 km to Colac and pay another 250 AUD in another motel. I dont like Australia. Every day is raining, windy and cold and now this. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Czech republic.
Today we headed out from Winchelsea to do our second day on the GOR. We made our way down through Wensleydale and picked up a few trads in tiny little none weatherproof pots. Nice little series. Then on to Anglesea which seemed to be very hipster/surfer vibes and we enjoyed a nice walk around The Wetlands, more caches and ate our packed lunch at one of the murals. Onwards to Aireys Inlet to visit the lighthouse and more caching. Lorne was our last stop on GOC seemed to be a bit more exy here and lots of posh Melbs people here . Back to Winchelsea via Erskine Falls, surprised no cache there and via Bambra area to collect some super cool woodland caches. Ran out of time to do everything we wanted but you can never get them all .Thanks to all the CO for some really great hides and especially to Bushfire we were sad to read of ill health.Swift calcs and then found the well hidden cache. TFTC
We are visiting from Brisbane with muggle grandma, driving along a big section of The Great Ocean Road. Before everyone else was awake, I snuck out at daybreak to finish off some caches in Anglesea before we all headed off to Apollo Bay. So many beautiful places to see along the way. Many of those places are pointed out to me through caching. After learning about these pioneers,: I sent miss 12 into the bush to reach for it.
Travelling with some friends from all over the country to Lorne for the week. What a great spot out of view of everyone. I made the rush to sign this before the others I heard made their way down the path. I found this yesterday but am just getting to log it now. TFTC!
Down on the surf coast for the weekend, so a perfect chance to knock off some caches on a cold and windy Saturday
Nice easy find tftc

Coordinates worked out and a brief stroll to GZ. Retrieved the cache and signed the log then had to wait to replace as muggles appeared from nowhere.

Find # 12712
Found with Tyred n Cranky.
A family weekend away in Anglesea. Down here to enjoy and cache the area.
Last time I was in Anglesea was Oct 2018 and I had left a few unfound. So back again to claim some more finds in the area and tackle the AdLabs
Tyred n Cranky had worked this out on their last visit but left the find due to the rain and darking sky's. So today we managed a muggle free grab.

Find No. 4322. Found with FUF009 at 10.45am
Another weekend in Anglesea caching the area and finding caches we didn't get last time we were here (at the end of May). Geodog Penny came with us again and this time FUF009 came along as well. FUF009 hasn't been down to this area caching since October 2018 so he had quite a few to find. Today we made our way to Lorne caching along the way as we went.
We still had a few caches in Aireys Inlet that we didn't get last time due to the weather - it rained, but today we managed to get them all. It was good to wander around this area again.
Last time we were here we worked out the final co-ords but due to the weather - raining and plus it was getting dark we left it for another time, so today being back in the area we were able to make the find. A bonus for us today was that there were no muggles nearby.

Found It.........After attempting this in our early years of caching and coming up empty handed this guy sat with a blue sad face on our caching map for over 9 years. Fast forward to today and it was decided to head down to the coast to pick up a couple of caches that had eluded us. After gathering the required info we crunched the numbers and came up with a set of good looking numbers. One half of the team set off to to GZ where a quick search soon yielded the container but as he made the grab no more than 5 or 6 families appeared from either direction. So with the logbook signed and muggles waited out to replace the container we have finally removed the blue frown. Thanks suss vulture and previous CO's for keeping this one going
We came to check GZ today, found the cache dangling near where it belongs, attached it again. Good to go - please replace as found.
Having just enjoyed the company of some friends with a homonymic surname, this was a nice cache to find today. There were few muggles around which made it easy to grab the cache and sign the log. I'm not sure if it was exactly in the original intended hiding spot (it seems a little less than ideal, although I think it is hidden enough), so hopefully it is okay. Thanks for the history, Bushfire.
Yes I found it. It had fallen from its hiding spot but with the aid of some sticks I retrieved it. A quick find but a bit longer before I had the log signed TFTC
I found this cache while travelling along the Great Ocean Road as I slowly made my way from Adelaide towards the Mega event over Easter at Rutherglen.
After collecting the required information and determining the final coordinates, it was off to GZ a short distance away for a quick find.
Cache and contents are in good condition.
Thanks suss vulture for the cache.

Another day on the Great Ocean Road. The weather in the morning was not so good. We decided that we do some labcaches in Aireys Inlet. Meanwhile, we also did some other geocaches. What a beautiful enviroment, we enjoyed it very much.
We often log with our initals TGM (Team_Geo-Meijer)
Greetings from the Netherlands.
Thanks for this one

A interesting story and a easy find to boot! Enjoying a great day of caching around Aireys! TFTC Bushfire!
Completed along with AdlLab, EarthCache and other multi while on day two of Great Ocean Road trip with alphag_25
While doing the AL, I got the information for this nice easy multi. Quick walk to gz and found the cache. Tftc
Did the math wrong on the first take thought you multiply the brackets.... don't multiply the brackets.

Thanks for the great multi cache! Enjoyed our walk and learning something new.
Found in the dark!
Great little walk with awesome views of the light house. Thanks for the cache.
The container had fallen onto the ground but is in excellent condition. Back where it belongs, and back in play.
We are on our way to Apollo Bay for a few days and wanted to grab a few caches on the way. Unfortunately, we were a bit later getting away than we had planned due to a warning light on A'Tuin flashing, a quick check by the mechanic and a clean bill of health, and we were on our way. We had worked out GZ for this cache some time ago, and this was the first time we were in the area since. We made our way to GZ, passing the historic Bark Hut. We made a quick find of a cache in excellent condition. Thank you, Bushfire, for this Multicache.
We found your cache while revisiting the walking tracks around the Airey’s Inlet Reserve. This felt very familiar to a cache found previously several years back, a bit of a de ja vu moment. We feel grateful to finally be out and about and able to enjoy some travelling time.
Thank you for your cache and adding to our road trip memories.

Found with XR400Sim whilst touring the Great Ocean road, all good, thanks for cache
As cachers have given me a heads up that the cache had fallen to the base of the large wooden post it is now back up neat the top and held in place by a branch as well as the magnet.
Otherwise all is good so should be OK for a while.

Found it. This one is a little tricky to get to please be careful of flora
I love the Lighthouse, been here many times but have only starting caching in recent years. Brought friends for the first time who love sketching, so I thought why not track down some caches. After a few times looking in the wrong spot I found it. Tftc!
Luckily Sar was up for a cache and this one didn't disappoint. A really well constructed multi. Thank you!
Always nice to hear about the stories of the pioneers who had such a different life to what we are used to. Also read some more down in the old bark hut searching for another cache, adding more to the story of the Pearse's. Easy find after calculating the final location. Thanks.
I'm usually bad at maths but luckily I was right this time and we found it
Found this one after a great code . Very good spot, thanks Kelly, Ruby , Mason and Paige xx date of the corona virus xx
We’re at the Pearse marker but nothing is loading so we’ve no idea what to do?! Our first premium one too have full phone service too..

*Cache find # 10839.*
I have probably been passed this one so many times but for one reason or another I have never had a look for this on but today as I was filtering on certain caches, this one showed up as an oldie so I had to stop for a look.
The area was very busy today as I made my way up the hill to the start of this one, once there the numbers were recorded and GZ was worked out and I headed there next.
Lucky for me that everyone was taking the other route up the hill so once I was at GZ there wasn’t anyone about, the cache was quickly located, I left my mark and the cache was replaced.
**Thanks to Bushfire for placing this cache.**

We were on a roll here this morning. Mrs. iowaPete and I had just finished up a different nearby multi-cache. I thought we'd see if we could go 2-for-2 by chasing this one as well.
Found the marker without issue. Beautiful morning to be out here. Took time to gather the necessary data and crunch the numbers. When I inputted the coordinates into the gps and looked at the map, I was encouraged that we had it right!
Time to complete the hike to gz. Had to time our approach because there were muggles walking in BOTH directions near here. We pretended to be engaged in some discussion until the coast was clear, then we went after the cache. I had a pretty strong feeling about where to look and had cache in hand after a brief search.
All's well here. Container and log sheet are in great condition. Added an iowaPete signature golf tee and a chance cube to the swaps, signed on the line and returned it all just fine.
This was a lot of fun. Here comes a Favorite point....

On a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide with Lady membsec, wombles and 1MinnieMoo.
Day 2!
We made our way to GZ past the many tourists. It took longer than it should have to locate the beasty as LadyM and 1MM had cache blindness here Wombles was on the ball though and plucked the container from a place the other 2 ladies had already looked. Haha!
Thanks for the cache Bushfire

The Great Ocean Road Adventure continues.
Omg some days you just don’t have it. Today seems to be my day. Arriving at GZ I spotted somewhere I thought the cache would be. A look and.... nothing. Then membsec looked in the same spot and saw nothing too. Wombles and co looked in exactly the same spot a little while after, and saw it straight away. Oh boy!!

We are on a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide on the Great Ocean Road (GOR). Membsec from Tassie, Nyssaflutterby, 1MinnieMoo and Wombles and Co all from Queensland. We met at the airport, late due to Jetstar’s strike (4 hours delayed for the Queenslanders) and then hit the road. We have a good selection of caches that we really want to get, so many in a short amount of time.
Day 2
Had worked this one out before leaving Tassie. It did take a little while to locate.

Venturing down the Great Ocean Road to a family wedding in Apollo Bay, B & C made an early departure in order to grab some caches en route.
I wasn’t planning on doing this cache today, but the old ‘just one more’ story had another chapter added. Im slowly working my way towards 200 multi’s, still a fair way to go but thanks to this neat little multi we are now one step closer.
Thanks Bushfire for placing this Small Multi-Cache - this is find 1577 for BFMC
