Good puzzle and quick find, but unable to sign log as too soggy to write anything in!
Solved the puzzle before arriving in town for the weekend. A nice final resting place, very peaceful here this morning. The log is very wet and disintergrating, probably time for a new one, managed to sign half my name, left a calling card as proof of find, the owner may remove if they want to. TNLN SL TFTC
Decoded this a couple of weeks ago when our TV packed up for a while, but only just managed to get out to do it .... not the nicest of days but it's always good to get out of the house. The log is terribly soggy though ..TFTC
easy find, great spot for a cache thnx.log still damp, but summer is comming.
Mrs NAVFAM a sudoku fan and solved this some time ago, but we only just got around to finding cache today on our way to the local Queens Birthday bookfair. Thanks for the enjoyable puzzle and cache. Code Cracker next?

Mrs YuGeo loves solving Sudoku. Easy find, managed to park within ~20m of the cache. Logsheet damp, gave it an airing.

Sudoku’s always much better when there’s cache to find afterwards . Having done a few Sudoku caches, we found this one fun. Was unsure where to park to get to GZ but soon realized where to go and found ourselves in a nice area. Cache a little damp, but otherwise all good. Thanks Q moto for the Sudoku puzzle and cache. Nice to bump into you the other day.
Enjoyed the puzzle so much that I may have to stop giving the mother-in-law grief about being addicted to Sudoku puzzles! Fortunately, I will have no trouble finding something else to give her grief about. TFTC.
Nice one. I like this sort of puzzle and the co-ords were spot on. Log getting a bit damp though. TFTC, Biggles
Solved the puzzle a while ago, finally went and found the cache this afternoon. Log is very damp, but I was able to sign it. TFTC
Solved this one a while back and had the opportunity to go and finally claim it. Cool spot for a cache, TFTC TNLNSL (419)
thanks to my work mates who solved the the puzzle within minutes.not where I thought it was thank you
I'd solved the easy puzzle long ago, but found it on a trip to Nelson. Nice to do a puzzle for my 1300th cache. The log paper is very wet. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(1300)

Yikes, not a Sudoku fan, but had a phone call from God, and all became clear
Logbook is wet dude. Sorry.

Not quite sure if we accessed this one from the correct direction. It was a case of PB pulling over and Annie's turn to make a mad dash in the rain, and cache quickly found. There is still a whole side left on the log page!!!
TFTC Enjoyed working out the puzzle.

Like Rangi we solved this puzzle over a year ago, but never got to pay a visit to the cache for some reason. Logbook is a bit damp and full; maybe needs replacing? Thanks for the cache!

Had this one on the list to complete for over a year and decided to knock it off while working over this way today.Went to do this a few months ago but there were cars and people every where in the nearby building and surrounds so left it.needs a new log paper as the current one is full.TFTC.
A good little puzzler - and had to do some romantic antics to cover out our scouting in the area as a couple of tourists passed by GZ. TFTC
Nice easy one for number 200, have had it worked out for a couple of weeks just need to find time to stop.
Took a while to work out access to this one with a vehicle. More challenging than the puzzle!

Found using our torch - was getting a bit dark. Used clue and found it straight away. Nice spot when the tide is in and the lights are reflecting off the water. Thanks.
Solved the puzzle obout 2 weeks ago and finaly decided to go and find it.
I did the puzzle months ago, so it is good to get it off the list finally. Lovely day for a walk along the path, and a quick find to boot. Thanks.
Nice puzzle cache to mark my 200th find.
Did the puzzle a couple of months ago so nice to complete it.

A rather hastily arranged trip so had to quickly work this one out during my visit. Have found a few caches in such places so it was one of the first places checked.
Many thanks.
Many thanks.
Solved this one while at home about a month ago. Needed the clue to find as never realised cache was a small one. It was well hidden. TFTC
Solved the puzzle some time ago and today turned out the to be the day to go look for the final location. False start as Jr forgot shoes and had to detour to buy some first
Puzzle caches are fun, Stephen can solve at home rather doing chores such as mowing the lawn. Parked in the wrong place but it was close, no not that close. TNLN.
We enjoyed the walk out to this one on a lovely sunny day having solved the puzzle at the motel the night before.

Did this puzzle ages ago and have been waiting since then to sign the log. Mission accomplished.
Now good at this game, so used the PDA to do all the work, great toys.

I didn't want to get into Sudoku, but I decided to attempt the puzzle and solved it without too much trouble. But I will NOT start solving Sudoku puzzles - I have way too many hobbies already! Solved the puzzle and found the cache (easy). Now I know about Sudoku. Thanks for the challenge.

have had this one on the books to do for awhile after our darling daughter who likes doing sudoku's solved the puzzle for us to follow was a good find on a rainy day signed the log thanks for the cache
My first cache followed the same game; and the 30 hour journey to NZ gave plenty of time to solve the puzzle. Amazed at the rapid water level changes as the tide changes. TFTC TNLNSL

Worked this one out in AKL, but didn't change the coords in the GPSr, so ended up at the initial coords quite some distance away. Today was the next opportunity. Good fun solving these.

Found this while touring the Nelson area and visiting from San Diego, US. Finally found it with the clue. TFTC
Found on our last day of holiday in Nelson. Having solved the sudoku puzzle over breakfast had no idea where I was headed. It took us to where we had parked our car on route to other caches over the past few days.
Walked here from Poet's point cache. Found eventually, for some reason I was expecting something bigger. Cheers Q Moto. I knew that doing those ChCh Sudoku caches would come in handy one day.
TN Left lucky 5pence,
Liked the puzzle.
Had to leave quickly wanted to get back to our Room so we could walk to a local pub and watch the All Blacks whup up on the Irish. Was a great game even though we understand almost nothing about what is going on. You have to be tough to play that game.

Thanks for getting it back up and running the new hiding place should be a lot more mugger free. The first time I have ever been first in a log book not that it really counts but it felt good.
[found the ] post [ok but no cache is it still ok as I'm sure I have the right spot and checked all the other ] posts along the fence [ but nothing
Nice cache, that was really good fun! Thanks! What about another one, just make the Sudoku a bit harder? - glow in dark dino, + rope
Had to jump the fence for this one. Nil in or out, but a quick hide as a muggle approached. Two tired Gzers now off looking for a good coffee... TFTC & puzzle

Solved the Sudoku already at home but had some doubts about my results when approaching the site. Rechecked but no mistake. Somewhat unconvinced I crossed the street and went to the cords … and there it was. TFTC

The co-ordinates were very good but we managed to go a long way round to find this cache. It was well hidden but we were able to find it. Left it well hidden. TNLN but were pleased to see one of our glow in the dark dinosaurs had made its way to the cache before we had.

We often enjoy this walk with the head geocacher whenever we are forced to leave the country to come into town. We covered over the cache a little better as it was a bit too visible. A plea to fellow cachers to ensure it is well hidden.

Solved the puzzle last night - I'm getting quite good at these now Cache was pretty easily to find, and rather obvious in its resting place. I tried to given it a bit more cover. No exchange made. Cheers Gav [753]
Finally got around to finding this cache, coordinates were very accurate, nil traded
Mrs SoBad copleted the puzzle in a few minutes and we then popped out to the cache site. The cache was quite visible from the track so I hid it a bit more carefully. -flower +SoBad teeth
First for day. Did the puzzle a while ago and were waiting until we were near to do it.
Satisfying to find it in the dark. I was within a few seconds of giving up and reading the clue.
Christchurch Sudoku - tick.
Nelson Sudoku - tick.
Auckland Sudoku - hmm.
I had plugged the coords into the GPS before going out for the day, and when I went to find them, they were gone. I vaguely remembered them being in the right area, and rang home to find out where they were from about 10m from the cache!!
TNLN, Thanks.

A great way to spend a sunny afternoon finding this cache after completing the sudoku puzzle at lunchtime. I usually do a puzzle most days so this was a neat challenge.
No exchange.

I enjoy these sorts of puzzles! I worked it out at morning tea so that I could go and find the cache at lunchtime!
Interesing place to have the final cache, I couldn't figure out any significance, other than its location.

Enjoyed the puzzle, having a race with Waimea Rev to finish it! Found cache with no difficulty, coordinates were spot on, nice spot on a beautiful day. Mrs WaimeaRev
FTF - I like the Sudoku idea! Got this first thing, after our morning paddle. I considered hunting for it before paddling, but it was still dark then.. TNLN, Jane
Nice One!!!!!!!! Great idea. Actually took longer to work out the puzzle than to drive from home and find the cache site. Took visiting Son on this hunt. Silver by 45 min. Thanks
