Hi there Dippedidooda.

We found your cache **"Cremorne"** at 12:00:00 PM today. (This makes our grand total 18827).

Another great day caching down South Arm. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour today & ended up finding a variety of container types, and sizes. Our cache count was 5 caches today, with 1 DNF's.

A nice, quick find thanks to very accurate coodinates. Thanks for placing the cache here. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny.

This would have to be one of the nicest beaches in the Hobart area.

Found it on our family holiday to Tassie...nice walk on the beach in Cremorne

20-Jan-17
Quick find once I picked the right track height & right side of the fence. I'd left the kids back on the beach swimming so had to crawl in & retrieve it myself. SL and replaced as found. What a magnificent place. Very fortunate to stay on this beach for 3 nights. Arrived to see dolphins frolicking in the bay & were farewelled by them at 5:30am the day we left. Water was pretty fresh...but if u go to the beach a swim is a must. Plus once ur body is completely numb it's glorious Tftc

With the kids at school, this was a quick find for us today although it would have been handy to have one of them to do the last bit. The egg managed to scramble in and reach the cache. She stayed done on all fours to do the logging! TFTC

"I have to climb in THERE?" GeoMum did this on her own making the 1.7km round trip along the beach. Clambered over the rocks barefoot and went ouch walking over those brown round conked things. Got a great photo of the beach from the cache though. Took beaded bracelet and dropped a few swaps off. Log book a bit damp so it's now back in the bag. Great instax photo of the beach in the cache! Happy New Year! Last cache for 2014.

24-Oct-14
was a relatively easy find but knowing the area helped. Hard to actually get to the rock if you're not keen on crawling. It was exciting finding a little container full of nice little things

23-Oct-14
pretty easily found - knowing the area was a bonus! was a really exciting find, but quite disappointing some people took so many and left so little. hope the next finder likes our little gifts. Smile

Well this was a classic case of placing too much trust in your GPS... and in the track that led ever upward... and the seductive geotrail that led to the hint item (well a major part of it). So there we poked & prodded within the 10m zone grumbling that we couldn't find another hint. Once we placed our trust in the hint, the whole hint & nothing but the hint things became much clearer and the cache came to hand too. In hindsight of course we should just have read the description. Why do we never do that? Thanks Dippy.

17-Aug-14
Went up the hill on the track then down then back up.  It was a crouch and scramble to get the cache, which also included several muggle logs .
TFTC Dippedidooda

On a pleasant late winter day we decided to walk along Cremorne Beach to Calverts Hill and score some geocaches. On reaching the Calverts Hill cache  we noticed a  log entry from Budgietas about continuing up to the trig on the top of the hill.  We thought that this would mean that the trig was on the Geocache Australia site and so perhaps we should go on to see.

What a lovely quiet beach.

25-May-13
Despite my parents living at South Arm for years we have never actually been into Cremorne before.

There were a few tracks at the end of the beach, so of course we took the wrong one. After a bit of circling we eventually had the cache in hand.

Thanks Dippedidooda. We enjoyed our visit to the area and had a nice drive around checking out all the shacks.

We decided on some early morning caching before Mrs y'stassie headed off to the second day of her embroidery class. It was very pleasant walking along the beach early this morning - the sea was calm, a very light breeze and not a cloud in the sky. It was great to be out and about. As we approached GZ we wondered if we should take the high road or the low road. We made our decision, luckily the right one. This was a very good hide. The cache and contents were in good condition. I had commitments next week in Hobart, So it was a quick and easy decision to head across early for sightseeing and caching long weekend.. So it was all planned.. I started at Hobart Airport early on Saturday and was loosely en route to the International Geocaching Day event (GC3RMH6) in Hobart. I later headed as far south as South Tasmania 1 (GC408). I had a blast taking in not only the caches but also the sights and sounds. My apologies to the cache owners for my very generic logs, Lots of caches were awesome, however all deserve more than this boring paragraph that I'm devoting.. I picked out lots of drive bys, however also slowed down for the odd multi or puzzle (solved in the field). Thanks to all cache owners for the wonderful caches, great locations and views and all the effort that has gone into the hides. I have taken a bunch of photos and will upload them in the coming week or so.. Back home now I'm slowly catching up on the logging.. I am looking forward to another tip back accross the straight to collect a whole lot of caches that I overlooked. Finds mostly fit into the #2800 - #2900 range.. Thanks for the cache.

After a quick walk along the beach with Geodog, the Geokids enjoyed scrambling around on the rocks before we found this one. Had to be quick with some muggle fishermen approaching. Great clues, TFTC. Grabbed TB, will move on shortly.

Found on a cold, blustery morning; just the thing for a brisk and invigorating walk along the beach. It was easy to locate the cache thanks to the good clue. TNLN. Thanks Dippy.

After a great walk along this beach it was a nice easy find with no problems getting to it.

Dropped off a TB that has travelled a few miles now.

Thoroughly enjoyed the walk along the beach, spotted several people in kayaks, a yacht in the distance & a catamaran that came in close!! We got close to GZ, stumbled around looking, then looked at hint, & realised we were slightly in the wrong spot, spotted where we needed to go, thanks to some other visitors to the beach for giving me the idea...hubby soon to find cache!! Jnrs took mini Rubix cube & pencil sharpener & left spider & wrist band!! TFTC & the opportunity to visit such a lovely beach!! Big Grin

I think the coordinates are OK (about 20 people have found it using them) BUT there's always the chance that it's been muggled. I will check it (and the coords) when I get back to Hobart - in about a week. Sorry that you couldn't find it.

Just wounderd if the coordinates r correct, because couldn't find it

Wow, at the end of the street sits a christmas tree with presants wrapped under it. We entred the beach to enjoy a great view. Walking along the sand we found some spots to be to be soft and almost sank. Very enjoyable spot to visit.

A beautiful sunny morning, not a cloud in the sky and just a light breeze.
I've only been here twice before, both times to compete in a triathlon (in my case more like controlled drowning followed by a duathlon).
For once, it didn't take me long to spot the hide, but then two muggles with dogs got to my end of the beach, so I sat on a rock and soaked up the scenery while I waited, and then logged the find - #700!
Thanks, Dippy.

I headed in slightly the wrong direction for this one and found myself up the hill and tangled in old barbed wire and blackberries. Whilst disentangling myself I noticed a woman up the hill was watching me very closely, so I retreated back to the rocks below and quickly found the cache.

Loverly little beach hidden behind the houses here. Not a muggle to be seen this morning.
We followed the instructions and missed the barbed wire and fallen tree. We didn't make it to the top as the path was very slippery.
Thanks, Robmc.

27-Jun-10
Lovely little area that we had never visited before. Muggles abounded and as we left the cache we met 2 heading up the track only seconds after we had put it back. Thought they might have been cachers but they kept walking past so guess they were just after the view. Thanks

Great cache along a beautiful beach. Went a little hay wire getting to it. Found easy in the end. Tftc.

Checked on this one. Also checked to find where the barbed wire mentioned in a few logs is (which is if GZ is approached from nearly directly below). Listing edited with instructions on easiest approach (which avoids the fallen down fence and barbed wire).

Found on a mild, sunny day... Much better weather than when I had go at this in its former life years ago. TFTC

We loved this beach. Anna and Bass made sandcastles and searched for pirate treasure, while Tam and I wandered off in the direction of the cache. No need to push them too hard.

Find number 5 for the 13th day of our trip to Tasmania and the Mega Event. Found at 1645, find number 161 for the trip so far. As Mrs Bundy snoozed, I went for a walk. I also walked too far, having to slip and slide my way back to GZ. After that, easy find on a nice beach.

Cheers
