Have taken this cache away for a little TLC and a good drying out. Will be placed back soon.
#588 (2/2 heading back from Rangiora). Another cache that had been high on my closest yet to find list for some time (not so close by road, given that the Waimak is in the way). Quick find. TFTC.
Found on the way to relatives at the far end of this very long road. Left euro 5c.
Nice One!!!!!!! Picked up this one on our way home from a great weekend of mall hopping in the big smoke. No problem with find. Left a US "Lincoln" coin (big spender). Log paper is very wet. Nice area. Thanks
Found, but as paper was sodden did not unroll and sign. [May need maintenance to dry out]. Took 50 SAF rand coin and left 20 samoan sene coin in bottom of cannister.
Man in a tractor gave us a wave as he drove past and then stopped down the road as I think he might have been suspicious of why we had stopped where we had. He gave up after 10 mins and drove off. Nice easy find. TFTC
Logbook too wet to sign! Cache was not actively "hidden" as such, just placed somewhere where no one would look. Probably meant to be that way.
This was a bonus cache find for us. We were on our journeys on another cache and this one was on the way. Quick find and the log is damp. TFTC
Nice drive and walk on a nice day. Took nothing left Vietnamese coin. Thanks.

Found during last days of our holiday from the UK. Container and log pages quite damp. Needs some TLC from the owner perhaps?
Contents very wet, so dried out the container and replaced the log book with some folded paper. If the owner would like the old log book we'd be happy to snail mail. TNLN.
911 The logbook is very soggy and the coins are starting to corrode so a quick maintenance trip could be in order. TNLN DS8300
Easy find on trip to Christchurch, but we forgot our goody bag [:(!]

This one is right in our back-yard. Thank you mountainpoetnz. A slight rearrangement of our regular walking routine enabled us to combine a healthy walk with a successful cache find.
Left a Fiji 2c

this was one of those awful moments when you turn the GPS on only to realise that you have just passed a cache 2-3 km back.
We were on the way to a bbq/late guy fawkes party. Luckily we were going back the same way. So at 10:50pm we dropped in. we had to use the headlights as we didn't have a torch. Luckily it was nice and easy to find. -kiwi 5c, +US 10c.
Thanks.

Easy find (without gps) whilst cycling one of my regular cycling circuits. Left an Egyptian(?) coin.
Nice easy find, early afternoon Sunday. It appears I was the third visitor. Cheers, Grandalf.
After doing the two new Bottle Lake caches decided to drive out here before going home, making this our third FTF of the day. We left some American coins.
Thanks
