Logs
I wasted quite a bit of time here only to read the past logs, could the reviewers please archive this one.
Checking the map for caches to do and this one still comes up after nearly 2 years without a find. Archiving it to get it off the maps would be the best option.
5 DNFs since October 2007 with no documented maintenance check by cache owner to confirm whether or not cache is still there.
Please confirm presence of cache, replace, or archive.

Again we visited a site without logs-our fault. We concur with the past two cachers-it is gone and it is time to disable it.
Great little spot though.

No, No, No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It would seem that the luck (All BAD) we finished last night off with is continuing this morning. Found GZ well searched with the plastic garbage bag (Camo?) still next to the likely hide.
Cache day with Tratty. First stop and found that this one more than likely has been muggled. The obvious spot was well cleared out with a garbage bag nearby. Interesting small pocket of bush. TFTC anyway
Found easily with the help of a geotrail. Startled a hare on the way in of all things! Thanks for the cache DAd78
Found in the company of Steve from URDERA on a mission to the south side. Thanks for this cache.

A lovely little walk into the location and the cache was quickly located. TNLN. Thanks DAD 78 for the cache.
This was our 18th cache of the 1st day on our 4 day visit to your sunny state
It's a shame when people knock off native flora for their own benefit but at least some still seem to be thriving. The cache was located after a brief search

Didn't think that the track I had was right so I made this walk a bit longer than needed. It was a nice morning anyway.

Found at 11.25pm. 6th for the night with Mr Nanks, and 14th for the first day of the big caching trip down south. A nice easy find, the location stood out from a good 10 metres away, even at this late hour.

Easy and nice find
A new green garbage bag to hide it in may not be a bad idea.
Next visitor may like to take one

I've driven past so many times with this popping up on the gps but never been able to stop (how much traffic is there?). Anyways, managed it this afternoon and the cache was found quickly. TNLN. Thank you.
This was an easy find in a not so nice area. Broken, burnt, dumped garbage everywhere. Found the cache then on to the next one. Swapped a Koala for a toy car.

Found at 3:30pm. Hot day. Bit of wandering brought us to the obvious hiding spot. Geokid whinging about all the "prickly grass". Lovely Black-Boys!
Kept beating the grass in front of me to scare away any snakes.
Out: Travelling Thong and Domino cards.
In: Horse & carriage, and Red breasted bird.

Found the cache after a bit of a cross country trek. A nice little patch of bush and home to at least one wallaby. Did'nt take anything but we left the Travelling Beach Sandal TB.
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty at 12:20pm. This was a great walk in to GZ. I like this type of bushland area. We found a better way out than we found on the way in. In: dominoes Out: chalk. TFTC
Scrub very dry. Nice to have gotten one quick find today. TNLN. Thanks DAD78

Note: Out and about with Adacache as we made our way through the East side on our East Meets West Briz Blitz Caching Event day. It could only be cachers who suddenly pull over to a screaming stop on the side of a busy road and then leap out in tandem to race into the bush, technology in hand . Adacache and I disappeared into the “woods†for a few in our quest to grab yet another cache on the way to lunch. The hike in was hilarious, as we chose the most direct and overgrown route … after a bit of a struggle we reached the cache site and the cache was soon in hand. After signing the log and replacing the cache we headed back out of the bush towards the car. This is when Suzzie discovered her keys were missing …. URGH!!!! Disaster!!! We retraced our steps, and re-opened the cache … nope, no keys in there! Using our GPS tracking we retraced our entrance steps through the undergrowth from the cache towards the cars … there they are!!!! Fortunately they were only about 300ft from GZ and now we were back on our way! Talk about lucky … that could have put a real dampner on the day.
Happy Hunting!

This one is not very well hidden these days. I suspect that in days gone by it may have been a bit less obvious. Very nice Xanths in the area. In: Car, Out: Mini torch
Not sure why this cache has picked up some negative comments - We thought it was great. A lovely walk in a nice bit of bush. The cache was well stocked and in great condition.
The cache was a little exposed, so we hid it better when we left.
Left a toy crab and took a notepad.
Thanks DAD78!

This is a great bit of bush isn't it! After doing a blocky to find the best access.Picked up a working lighter on the way to the GC, didn't want to see this place burn accidentally.
Found this one easily at 10.00 Nice area. A little low on stock but we were prepared with extras.

love your work dad, lots of banksia and grass trees, left 20 dollars as cache stocks are a bit low,sl,tftc.
We have all driven past this piece of land hundreds of times and never gave it a second thought or glance until today. We now know that Billy Bunter cache lives there and will glance at it knowingly from now on. What beautiful banksia flowers everywhere. Thanks for the introduction to a previously ignored spot.
Found this one after some difficulties getting the GPS to give a correct signal.Signed log book accordingly.

This was our second expierience. Unfortunatley very disapointing and could not see the point in hiding something in a place like this. Cache wet and in desperate need of attention.
Well we found this one but i don't really "get" it. Yes there are some lovely Grass trees and also some beautiful banksias but why there? It isn't really somewhere that you'd want to return to, is it? Strange place. Easy enough to find but "What the?" thenanks
p.s. the cache stocks are low and damp could do with an owner visit.

Have driven past this spot dozens of times saying I must stop one day and find that cache. Today was the day - a short walk on a track for a bit before heading into the scrub. Found cache easily. As L&L said, notebook is very damp.

We weren't too sure which side to attack this one from. With the help of the referdex (street directory) we decided on "that side". Nice track, no dense bush, pretty easy walk in, really. After reading the logbook and this page, it sounds like we made a good choice.
We've driven past this spot for years, on both roads and now we've been there. How can anyone not like geocaching?
The logbook was a bit soggy. It probably needs a couple of hours in the sun. We were only able to write in it after Mrs Lat&Long waved it in the breeze for a good 5 minutes. Perhaps some silicia gel granules/sachets would help with the moisture. We've seen them in other caches.
Took a thong and donkey. Left a shell keyring and a mini jigsaw puzzle.
"A thong and a donkey????" that sounds obscene. Well us Aussies know what I mean.

Last of six finds on a quiet last night in Brisbane in company with wingaap and Lt Sniper. The good lieutenant had done this one already (was FTF, in fact), so he sat back and watched us find it. We found a track of sorts that lead in from the road, but we had to go bush when the GPSr pointed to 3 o'clock. We found that cache at 2140 in the first place we looked. Although the cache didn't have any actual water in it, the log book was very damp and mildewy. We managed to leave our logs, but only by not pressing too hard. A maintenance visit wouldn't go astray. I didn't look into the cache for swaps, so I made no exchange. Even at GZ, we could not discern any track to or from the cache site, so we bush bashed directly back to the road. Like others, I'm left wondering about why the cache is so named. [?] Thanks to DAD78 for the cache.

Hard to tell what this spot is like at night and in the rain!
Out caching with Dak and Lt Sniper. Pretty sure it was Dak that spotted it hidden away. The log book is wet and is in urgent need of being replaced.

An interesting spot. Looks like an old farmers' dump nearby. Probably of great interest to those who collect old bottles etc. Found cache ok as it was a bit exposed. Recent rains have made log and contents a bit damp TNLN.

We found the beginning of a track starting at the road furthest away, however we needed to go off track and traverse over many meters of reasonably dense bush to the cache location. We did enjoy the journey though. TNLN - TFTC
another one found by the bcc natural area team while HARD AT WORK. great spot hey......hope it survives the next prescribed burn!not so much canopy this time so gps was running like a dream.
Found the track and the cache. I'm not sure where everybody else had trouble? There is a track right through the middle of the bush. Thanks for planting this one in a strange little pocket of bushland.

Well I came in from the closest road to me and like the others couldnt see any tracks at all, but the cache was only 150m or so away. I drove up to the roundabout and came in from the other road, and there it was a nice easy track leading right into the cache. Nice easy find at 11.05am

How you get a terrain rating on 1 on this cache is beyond me.
We bush bashed the entire way in as we could find no track. There was certainly no track near GZ which we found after running into many spider webs and holes in the ground.
Took koala, left whistle on lanyard.
Thanks DAD78. The Xanthorrea are very nice in this location, it's a pity that they get stolen though.
I would also revise the terrain rating as we couldn't find a track out either. The cache container should probably also be a regular.

Well I obviously need some kind of therapy. After a cache till you drop effort on Friday night and even more on Sunday. I find myself still going on my day off.
Anyway I started with Bill 1025 not just because he was easy but also because I liked the name.
The first of eleven caches for the day (a new PB) [^]

In the middle of busy work day, but always time to find a cache.
Nice litte spot and an easy find.
Picked up "No Place Like Home TB" as I am going to Tassie this weekend so will take it on a trip. I am going to the US next month but it wants to go travelling before it goes home.

Had no trouble finding this one but had to do a bit of bush bashing with the kids. Found an alternate route out much to my delight. Did not see any wildlife but did find the holes. Took skateboard and rubbers and left stanley knife. Also left No Place Like Home TB.
As Adam put it - "it's nice for the first cache of the day, when you walk up to it and someone hands it right to you!"
still trying to work out the name of this one though...

Parked across the road from the entrance and dodged the traffic to get into the area. As the first for the day it was nice that it was such a short walk. Just as we got ot the cache itself we were surprised to find llourd almost right behind us... they'd caught up to us on the way in - it was nice to see you guys!
Cache was found easily and we swapped a golf tee for a thong fridge magnet.

Heading south today for a bit of cacheing and this cache appeared on the GPS, so I had to stop. Early morning and drizzling. Found without too much trouble in a nice dry hidey-hole. Left a skateboard and took a car.
If your into old bottles there are losts around here! obviously this place was once a dump for someone. Found some cool old bonox and brylcream bottles; then we found the cache!

2nd of the day. Nice easy stroll to ease us back into caching . Took qantas bag, left koala.
This was a nice little stroll on a mid Sunday afternoon. There was a cool breeze blowing and all the smaller trees were being thrown around. I had no problems finding the cache, which was found at 12:19pm and left a Qantas bag since it was low on items.
