I had a few hours free this morning and decided to go grab a few nearby caches. With Saturday sport in full swing this was a busy place and quite hard to find a park nearby but once I was in the forrest it was surprisingly peaceful. What a lovely little pocket of bush. I took the trail towards the cache and then made a nice quick find. Its a unique container and not quite as waterproof as your traditional systema. There was a little water in the cache and the logbook was a bit damp but not too bad. The coordinates for the next few caches were still just readable. So I plugged them in and continued along the lovely trail which followed along the creek. Lovely spot! Thanks for the cache Crew153!

I’m needing just a few more Regular size caches for a challenge and as I’ve had this on my solved list for a while, decided to come here today.
The area at gz has been cleared a bit but cache is still ok. After signing the logbook, which is slightly damp, I covered the container a bit better. Then I continued along the pleasant bushwalking loop, even hearing, though not seeing, a kangaroo. Tftc

12/1/2023 Find #5621
I was hoping to get most of a day to myself for caching today, and had planned to begin where I left off yesterday.
However plans have a way of going awry, and I ended up making my way over this way even later than yesterday’s attempts. Therefore I decided I would not head quite as far south to the Oxley series, and instead begin work on the Mimosa series.
My last cache of the day. This one looked like it would be quick and easy enough, so I headed over and parked in the convenient car park then began my walk.
A couple of muggles passed on the main track, but when I headed off on the side track, I was all alone to make my find interruption free.
Somehow I managed to find myself some more cobblers pegs - they really have it in for me at the moment. But I also found myself a cache. It was rather full of water, so I emptied it out before replacing it in the CO’s preferred fashion.
I took note of the required info, although it is getting a little hard to read, so I hope I have got it right.
Then it was time to call it a day, relatively pleased with today’s progress.
Thanks for the cache Crew 153.

Found quiet quickly but had to deal with a large cache guardian that did not want me to release the prize at all.

After a bit of negotiation I got there and added another smilie to my map

Cheers

Muggle65 and l dropped in here today to find this one. Certainly seems like the weather has made some drastic changes to the landscape but we found the cache after a brief look and the coords were good. Thank you for the fun

Thank goodness this one was found recently, we were committed to also finding the logsigned

Wow what an interesting find.
I have been looking at this series for quite some time as most of the series is in my area, especially this mystery. After reading the comments many times I thought I had an idea of where it may be. It was quite a long shot as I didn’t have any co-ords or confirmation that I was even close.
As I walk this track every other day I occasionally checked out the possible spot as I got near.

Today was the day I was going to take a chance on my hunch. I planned my walk to start earlier than normal so I wouldn’t get interrupted by the muggles walking their dogs and school children racing home.

The recent flooding and rain has prompted quite a lot of cleanup in this area so it’s quite possible that this has helped me with the find. Not sure if a worker has found the cache and thrown it back in the bushes after discovering the container during the cleanup or it’s been uncovered in the flood but the container was out in the open but still out of view of anyone just walking past.

I didn’t believe it was the cache at first because that was way too easy without any co-ords, but I do know the area pretty well.
The container was filled with a small amount of water and the log book was pretty damp but still able to sign. I emptied the cache and replaced the cache under some camo. Got bitten by some thorns for my trouble today as some of the previous catchers also noted. I don’t know what it is with me and thorns! Can remember a cache near some bougainvillea which didn’t end well either …

Now I have the co-ords for the next cache so off I go! No guess work needed! The co-ords are getting abit unreadable due to moisture.

TFTC Crew 153. It is a lovely area to visit!

Out today to grab 7 oldies from Crew 153. Thank you for keeping these caches going. Had lots of fun finding them. I did need to Paf a few times for help on a couple of them.
So now Mimosa series finished and one to go on the Oxley series to go.
Plus 3 for for a new challenge on the Northside.
So I found 10 for today. The breakdown was 7 mystery, 2 earthcache and a multi.
Sorry for the generic log.

I managed to get this unknown cache's coordinates whilst visiting McGregor on 6/01/2022, and earlier with my visit to M1, it just confirmed the coordinates once again.

Today, jesswrigley and I needed to pop over to MacKenzie for an errand, and we then decided to use our new baby carrier in walking a section of Brisbane Koala Bushlands, picking up a few of the rabbit series (Rabbit Trap, Tricky Rabbit, Rat Plague, etc.).
After our long walk, Garden City Shopping Centre was our next stop where we had lunch and did some shopping, and then I decided to make my own way home, stopping at a few geocaches within the vicinity and around Mount Gravatt. I did manage to get a find a few more oldies from Mimosa Creek's geocaches, with M1 certainly being quite the adventure.

Thankfully unlike my previous visit at M1, this cache's access route was much easier, and upon arriving at GZ, it was a reasonably quick find, despite some spiky ivy and lantana nearby. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I did note that the front cover's coordinates were starting to fade and become unreadable. Thanks Crew 153 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to find this oldie 09/2005 hidden cache, which is one of Queensland's 500 oldest yet active geocaches.

Thanks for the cache and series.

Fresh start first cache of the day with Wayn0. Cache turned up quite quickly from under its little hidey hole and not too far off the main track. Is Mimosa getting easier ...?? After M1 it feels like being lulled into a false sense of security.

It’s been over a month since I found the last cache in this series, so while in the area I thought I’d stop here and have a look…

After battling the spikey vines I found the container easily, but didn’t realise the poor state of it… made my mark, noted the next sets of co-ordinates and returned everything as found…

Then on the way back to the car felt bad and thought why have a supply of replacement containers in the car if they just stay there…

So after selecting the best two options back I went… got to battle the spikey vines again… and replaced the container with the biggest and brightest I had… it’ll do until the CO needs to visit…

Tftc… glad to knock another oldie off…

An early mark from work and a couple of hours to kill before school pickup sees me driving over to the Southside to finish off the mimosa series of caches and a few as I passed by.

The mimosa series was of particular interest as it fills in some older caches that I have been targeting. It was a great series and one that kept me entertained and took me to a lot of different areas and unusual spots, thank you.

A walk along a path and then a duck off into some bushland, I found the cache very easily however the container requires some maintenance. The lid is very damaged and will let water into the cache. I tried to cover as best as possible I do not think it will stop all. With the log signed and cache gently placed back I was off to the next on the list.

Parked in the park and go and headed off for a nice walk. Quick find at GZ. The lid is broken and the log damp. Gathered the clues off the cover although a couple of numbers were a bit hard to read. TFTC Crew 153

Out with TripleTurmoil, Willis007 and Bella the Geodog for a day of caching on the south side while paying close attention to the Mimosa series and grabbing a couple other caches along the way.

We weren't sure how to access this one at first, but after a quick look around we noticed a promising way through, after a short walk down a path then a trail we finally arrived at GZ and had the cache in hand a short time later.

What a neat little spot, thanks for bringing us here today.

After recently completing the Oxley series, Triple Turmoil, NayFee and myself decided to tackle the Mimosa series. I had already done the first 4 but accompanied the others on a lovely Sunday afternoon walk.
We arrived at GZ and found the cache quite quickly.
Thanks Crew 153 for the great series and cache.

Today Willis007, Nayfee and I decided to make the Mimosa series our mission. Willis007 had already completed some of them but was happy to take us to the first few so we could finish together. We had a late start to the day but did manage to complete the whole series in 6 hrs (with a few side-tracked extra caches).

I went to wrong way to the tree and lantana was making life hard, but Willis went the other way and quickly had the cache in hand.

in determination to collect this series, we have continued our search this week.
We had retrieved the coordinates for this one a couple of weeks ago, as we have gradually been making our way through this lovely series. We have come to know quite a bit more about Mimosa Creek, and have certainly dipped our toes into it on more than one occasion. Today, near GZ the water level was quite low, which was a surprise given how much rain there has been. In fact, we could have approached this one from either side of the creek.
Arriving at GZ we spent quite some time searching, and thought we were about to leave empty-handed, when Mr Domsky, who had changed position and was now looking elsewhere, gave a whistle of success.
All good here, and a couple more clues collected for our next visit out this way.
Thanks Crew153

Dad had a last minute work trip to Fisherman Islands so we came too...and mum needed a cache.

01-May-21
Mr Esky's day job turned into a weekend job necessitating a trip down the range from Toowoomba to Fisherman Island to replace a computer so a ship could be loaded. The rest of the fam tagged along to keep him company and scored a mini tour of the facility. Heading home late in the afternoon I checked the map and decided we had time for a cache. Wandering into the area we noticed directions on the pathways from the nearby school marking the routes of the cross-country tracks for the various grades. Along the dirt track every single root was spray painted pink highlighting the trip hazzards. A short bush bash through head high grass and very careful negotiation of the many prickly, smilax vines and I had myself a log. TFTC Crew153.

A cache protected by thorns in a nice area.

Really nice spot here with the sun shining through. Left my pen behind so I thought I wouldn’t get to sign the log. But a pencil saved the day.

My mission after work today was to find a few more caches in this series. All up today I found 3 and this was my first. I had my bike and this was a perfect place for a bike ride. A really nice tranquil place. Surprise. . At gz it was not long before I spotted this cache. The cache is broken but a Ikea zip log bag is keeping everything perfect
Thanks for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy

We knew Roly Chapman rather well. He was a great local identity and was deputy head at our primary school for many years. Nice to see this park named after him.
Anyway, while walking to this cache there was loads of birdsong - even a whipbird.
This was a super quick find. Land has been cleared at this bend in the path right to the GZ tree. But it was still lying there untouched. Logbook is a bit damp and mouldy and coords for next caches are a bit blurry. On close inspection we see the cache lid is broken. Sorry we didn’t bring another with us but it’s all pretty dry at the moment.

Thanks Crew 153. Really enjoying our wander along Mimosa Creek.

On our way to the Clump cache now.

I was working in Macgregor again today, and having revisited the last Mimosa on the way to work to pick up the coords I missed, I thought I'd collect another Mimosa smilie or two on the way home. I parked nearby and made the short walk to gz. I took a deep breath and plunged in, spotting the hide fairly quickly and adding my name to the log. Thanks for another Mimosa Crew 153 Big Grin

First of our Mimosa collections today! So humid so glad not too arduous a walk! Bit bushy but quick find!

11-Jan-20
Found four of the Mimosa series today, this one being the first. It was a blessing to find this one easily after the scars and mental anguish endured after chasing M1!! But there was a cost in finding this cache, paid for in blood when a wait-a-while crept out of its hole and entangled my leg. Thanks Crew 153 for maintaining this series.

We managed to get all the way to this evening and still hadn't found a cache for the day, which we wanted to do to fill the calendar date. So we popped a couple of frozen meals into the oven and looked around for a cache close by that we could log in the half hour they would take to cook. I had the final coordinates for Roly saved and the site looked suitable to visit at night, so off we went. We only needed a torch for the final stretch and it wasn't a long walk. When we got there we worried we'd never find the cache, but I followed my geosenses and was pleased to straight away find a geotrail leading to the cache. The lid is UV-damaged and is starting to disintegrate but everything inside is OK.
Thanks for the cache and the coordinates for the next two in the series.

Wednesday. Nice quick find on this cache. No trace of any rubbish here today which was really nice to see. Lid was a little cracked, but log itself was nice and dry.

This was the 2nd of 4 caches found on today's trip.

Thanks ***Crew 153***, for showing us this place. Smile

First time to use my newly acquired second hand handheld gps to make cache finding easier. Because I don't know how to use it, Snickersallan found it before I could add the waypoint in the device.

After finding a set of co-ords in the previous cache we set off to find this one. On approaching GZ our GPS's wanted to take us to different sides but once settled the good hide was found. (Container lid is starting to perish and may not last too much longer)
Now on to another in this good series.

This took me a while as there was no obvious GZ.
Eventually found it after walking into a few cobwebs.
Now ready for the next ones in this series.

Filling in some time waiting for peak-hour to dissipate, I opted to pick up some Mimosa caches after grabbing some fresh coordinates yesterday. Fresh coords are like fresh bread - they taste and smell yummy but leave them for too long and they will start contesting your bowels.

With a pleasant trail all the way to GZ I thought I would be in and out faster than a father’s first visit to the delivery room. With a clear trail I stupidly followed it into the bush. The problem is that it was the wrong trail.

In trying to extricate myself back to the path I met up with some sneaky wait-a-while. I felt the burn on the back of one of my calves and knew better than to look at the blood and feel sorry for myself. The only option was to complain about to everyone I knew in the hope of getting some misery points. tftc

A nice afternoon out and about - with a plan. Last stop for me today was here, with coords fresh to hand I walked straight to GZ and grabbed the container. The easiest of the Mimosas so far I think.

Thanks Crew 153 for entertaining me at this location.

Tuesday 11 Dec. 2018, #5,947.
A nice December morning was spent riding Merida around the Toohey and My Gravatt trails, getting exercise and collecting smilies along the way.

After picking up more coords at the last one, I headed over here and a short bikeride later was at GZ. Despite the abundance of bongs and other rubbish indicating that youngsters hang out here, the cache was nicely tucked away. The container lid is perishing, but still ok for now.

Thanks for the experience **Crew 153**

I was expecting this to be far harder but it was a piece of cake to find, the lid has perished but it is covered and I don't know how long it will last. It was a pleasant walk to the cache in an area that I didn't know existed. Paperwork completed and cache replaced where found. TFTC

Finishing off the series of Mimosa today with Geopartner.
I have only 4 left to do.
I did most of them with RoddyC last year.
I already had the coordinates for this one and clump left over from doing the series last year.
A nice wander along the trail brought me to where I soon found the cache in its hiding spot.
Geopartner waited in the geomobile but came to find me at the end.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Crew153 Cool All good with this cache (needs new lid) and puzzle

Found with stairman1. We started this series in 2011 and decided it was time to finish it. With no Geodog anymore to accompany us, it was lonely to do these. We found the cache easily this time. All good here

Found with Goldielover here today. We started this series a couple of years ago and never got around to finishing it. Had to start from the beginning again. Continuing finding these places hidden from most except geocachers. Another great discovery.

I found a good parking spot for this and, after a short walk, I found a faint geotrail which I decided to follow. This turned out to be the long way around but it did lead me through what I can only describe as a bong farm. Lots of empty bottles with holes in the side hanging from trees and scattered on the ground.

I kept going through this area and soon came back out on the path near GZ. I tried a few different approaches to GZ before narrowing down the most likely hide and then it was a quick find.

Our plans for today were interrupted by inclement weather, so mid-morning we decided to complete this series which we started in September last year. We invited Gullivers Travels54 to join us, as they had completed a similar number.

GT54 had worked out where to park for this one, and a pleasant wak along the concrete path over the crook led us to a shady track alongside Mimosa Creek through some very pleasant surroundings to where we began our search fo the cache. It took us a while, as we actully by-passed the geo-trail and attacked GZ from the wrong side. Typical!

Eventually we made our way backwards and soon GT54 gave the familiar geocaching war cry:"Found It"!

CO might like to note that there is a large split in the lid which would allow water to enter the cache under unfavourable circumstances.

Log signed and replaced as discovered. Found at 11.00am on 15th September 2016. TFTC.

It had taken us 2 years to come back and finish this series ,so when we were asked by Roddy C if we wanted to find these last few ,we jumped at the chance, this series is out of the ordinary and surprise you at the next turn ,thank you Crew 153 for placing these for us to find

05-Aug-16
AS we were coming up to GZ on this one we disturbed three lads having a bit of a "smoke". At least from the distinct herbal aroma hanging around when we arrived and they left, I think that is what they were doing?
Anyhow, once they were gone we were free to search unhindered. Found the cache container pretty quickly, but the lid has a big crack in it. Might be best to replace it? Log book looked as though it had been wet at some stage, but has dried out ok. I just had to peel the right page open to add my log entry.
We now have the next two sets of coordinates for another day Smile Not certain of last number for the South coords for one of them, as it's a bit smudged. The numbers should get us there ok though? If not can always PAF Smile

A night of caching with Monkey Maker and we were gradually getting through this series! Bit creepy walking in here at night but luckily we located the cache quickly and were out of there.

02-Jul-16
Right about now HotWheelsDuo and I were freezing. Damn it's a cold night tonight. We figured it best to grab a coffee from the local Macca's before finding a park for the walk to GZ. And aren't we glad we did. I think the temperature was another few degrees colder down this track. We were definitely thankfully for the warm cups.
I really enjoy caching at night but when I come to locations like this, I'm a little disappointed I didn't come during the day. It's honestly as black as the ace of spades down here at this hour but from what I could see of the surrounding bush via torch light, it seemed like a place worth exploring.
I've found most caches tonight so HWD dived in for this one and came up trumps straight away, mmm maybe she should be finding them all.
Another cache in the series signed tonight and of course another two clues retrieved.
Thanx again C153

After finding a previous cache in this series quickly we had time to grab another. This one took us a little longer to locate but we made the find. Cache is in need of a little TLC but signed my name on a spare piece of paper. Can't wait to grab the finally couple in this series in one of our next visits. TFTC Crew 153

Having failed at an attempt for an M puzzle yesterday to help spell December, today I decided to give another option a try. Well I started on one to run into problems thankfully this series is designed around those sort of problems. Having already found the prerequisite for this cache but not having the required photo on me (at home on a portable hard drive), someone was kind enough to provide it.

Anyway I soon found my way to the right spot and took the walk in and after one approach did not work out, I tried the other way and soon had the cache in hand. While I managed to get the log book signed, it is extremely wet and could really do with replacement.

A few hours to spare this afternoon and Selvagirls and I wanted to complete this series. Armed with the co-ords, we parked in a nearby car park and made our way to the GZ. GPS was abounding but there was a couple of spots we could triangulate in and Sevlagils had the container to hand. Sadly the log book is a little wet so we etched as good as we could. Co-ords noted for the next stage. TFTC Crew153

I began my journey into this area actually on the trail of Clump. I arrived at the nearest parking to the NE of that one and figured there was no nice way of making my way along the Mimosa to that GZ at all. I drove further down the road, more or less took a wrong turn and was surprised to find I was heading along streets I don't think I've ever seen until arriving at a very attractive area with several caches inside.
After a bit more walking than strictly necessary, I came to the huge pile of mulch and took a few goes to decide how to get to the GZ without destroying my work clothes. Thankfully it wasn't so hard and the cache turned out to be in great condition. The next clue noted and on I rolled: TFTC!

I found myself in the local University this morning, and finishing a little early meant i had some time for a few quick finds. this gave me the opportunity to complete a few in this great little series. Having stored the numbers away after previous caches a few weeks/months ago, it was off to GZ.
Completing one of the nearby traditionalise I continued around the loop until I came to a few large mounds of chip bark right on GZ...Oh dear....But wait...once the GPSr bounce settled the cache appeared safe and sound.
Log signed and returned. Took an Eatmorchikn pathtag! Left my signature!
Thanks Crew153, that was a nice little walk...now can I make a direct line to the next in the series....

11-Sep-14
Path is opened. Nice found. 2 more to go.

22-Aug-14
Tried to approach from the south, the foot path is closed. Tried the north, a few workers are working on a new concrete path. May need to approach from the east, or wear suitable shoes or wait until footpath is done. Look like work is nearly complete. Will be back in a week or two. Last 3 in this series.

What a lovely walk in and reminded me of a night stroll through here with the cap'n in pursuit of another cache, and a random meeting with a couple of hippies along the way. I kid you not!

GZ is a delightful spot and I could hear sporty types doing their thing nearby Smile

Located the cache easily and it has indeed been cleaned up. No issues with his one. Placed back in its hidey hole Smile

I personally remember Roly Chapman as I attended the nearby Upper Mt Gravatt State School (1973-1979). My first memory of him was when I was about 7 and I had to go to him to be tested for my "Aboriginal" badge for Brownies. It was scary having to go to the head of the school, but I survived and passed my badge! I also remember him always being dressed in long socks and shorts (the fashion of the day!). Going for a walk in this bushland was a trip down memory lane for me. It has been years since I walked through here and it has changed so much. I attended the local Brownies and Guides and the hut is still there. I was also a girl guide and boy scout leader here too. We had no troubles finding the paths to this cache and the cache itself was just sitting out in the open. The cache was sad and in need of some maintenance which luckily we were able to attend. There has obviously been water in the cache at some stage and the trinkets in there all happen to be ones that had gone rusty. So we fished those out. Everything including inside the cache was red from rust so we washed, scrubbed and dried out the container. The pen was also dead so dropped off a new one. We then filled it back up with new swaps. We sat the log in the sun for a while whilst we let the kids play around in the creek. It is such a lovely spot. Once log had been nicely aired we replaced cache and headed off down the path towards Mimosa Clump. Cache is now looking good! Thanks Crew153 for a lovely (and easy) walk to this one! Favourite point from me for the trip down memory lane.

Found with THR during a day of doing Mimosa's but why did I not log it........ maybe cache day overload. TFTC

Out caching mimosa with DiamonJs and this was the final cache of the day as we were running out of light. Mrs THR was feeling tired so we left her in the car. We had a pleasant walk to GZ and DiamonJs found a few more along the way. Nice easy find here, which was a nice change from McGregor. TFTC Crew153.

I had looked at a map which showed an easier path to GZ. Upon starting my walk I soon reliased I had left my printed copy of the map at home. After walking along a track I thought would take me in the right direction to the path I soon had second thoughts and turned around to try a different way. This didn't seem to be taking me the right way either so I decided a bit of bushbashing was required. Of course this soon lead to the easy path and the cache was located after a short search. Continued along the path on the return journey and discovered I had been going the right way to start with and had turned around only 30m away from where I should have turned off. Tftc.

A great piece of bush hidden away. I had been here a number of months ago picking up the nearby caches - so I had an idea where I was going. Thankfully I picked the correct route and had the cache in hand in no time. Found a seat to write my entry and take down the next lot of co-ordinates. Lovely spot by the creek. TFTC

EggInTheSky and I were out and about on a quest – that was starting to look a little tougher than we had planned on – to find the Mimosa series in one evening.

We parked close to the cache and Eggs spotted some good tracks that took us close to GZ pretty quickly. A quick search and… nothing; expanding the search… thorns… spiders… no cache. This wasn’t looking good.

Our phone both agreed on GZ and it looked like a good spot. We started to think that this one may have disappeared. The challenge on the other caches so far had been to get to GZ and after that the cache had been in a typical sort of a hide.

I started expanding my search and had just discovered even more thorns when Eggs called out the find. Now this was really a great find in my opinion. The cache was where we had thought, but was covered with a full inch of leaf litter and had a plant growing on top of it! No joke.

So as I stood there a little awestruck , Eggs took down the next coords and signed us up. Then we were off to Clump.

After all the hustle & bustle of Seoul, this was a welcome peaceful change. Feeling a bit sleep deprived I needed some oxygen & a walk. Just what the Dr ordered. Nice spot in here and all is in order.

Out and about with teamdfl for 2 crazy days of hunting Smile

We decided not to retry McGregor due to all the DNF's so this was our next target. Had a leisurely walk through the bush and soon found the cache. TFTC, Crew 153.

Out with IolantheK for 2 days of fun and adventure. Having skipped MacGregor due to the number of DNFs recorded we headed for this one. A slight detour to pick up another cache for IolantheK on the way past. A nice quick find once GZ was reached. Smile

Yep, we took the wrong tracks through this section of bush and ended up at this cache (meant to find another), but hey, while we were here.....
More clues, more caches.
thanks, Robmc.

We had set out to find the trad cache shooting hoops but a combination of tricky bush tracks meant we ended up closer to this one instead. Took a few miutes to find but we knew Captain Terror had been here a few weeks back so that knowledge helped. Another one down.

After following a muggle walking dog towards GZ we spent some mucking about before we were alone to search for the cache. We were amazed to learn that the cache had been unfound for a year, but we signed the log and replaced the cache, and took our time enjoying the area before heading back to the car.

Yeeha! A cache that has been unfound for over a year - I can't imagine why though, this is such a nice area, only a little effort required to obtain co-ords. Wtih Gaz'n'Kab and it was a nice walk in from where we parked near the sign with the park name on it. We ended up following a dog walking muggle in, but he wasn't worried about us. He stopped though, right near GZ so we took to looking into the creek water and skipping a few stones until his dog had sniffed all he wanted and the pair moved off. I was sent forth through the few metres of undergrowth and quickly found the cache tucked away as it has been for so long. Out it came to share the booty when we all realised none of us have a pen - and we call ourselves geocachers. At least there was a pen in the cache. Another top spot in this series, TFTC Crew 153 Smile

We picked the right path in to this one which was nice and dry. At GZ, started the search only to be confronted by a number of thorny vines that did their best to make life difficult for us. After a lengthy search, Fangsoki found this one by almost stepping on it. It was sunk in mud and in a rather random location. We imagine with recent rains it floated away slightly from GZ and landed where we found it so we replaced it back at where our GPSr's indicated GZ was. Thanks Crew 153

As reported by Lokipagan, I nearly put my big hoof on this one before I saw it. I had previously looked in other likely areas before finding it in its location. We re-hid it back where we believe it should live. The cache was damp inside - but the logbook was in good condition. TFTC Crew 153 Smile

Quick swing by a few mimosa while in the area.

Couple of yapping dogs on the way in but once nearing GZ, all was clear. On arrival, the ground surrounding GZ had been scraped and cleared and I feared the cache may have gone... Twisted All good though as it was found after a couple of minutes. Tucked nicely out of the way from what ever work may be going on...

Cheers Crew153.

This cache took me a little bit of finding too and I found it accidently when I came at things from a different angle. I was hoping to see some more wild life but the place seemed very quiet, perhaps I scared it all away. I grabbed the next coords and headed off again.

Thanks,

14/12/09 4pm - While on my way home swung by this one to try and locate it. Other one in this series looked too much like trashing about in the bush for my liking so went for this one. Found it very easily, cache has a little water inside and some treasures rusty. Log book dampish. Emptied cache and replaced everything and sealed cache up properly. TNLN TFTC

A nice wander from where I parked to this cache. No Muggles about so my search was easier. Found cache OK. The container was 1/2 empty of water but the log was OK. I dried the contents and emptied out the water of course. TNLN. Thanks Crew. Two to go.
