Wow , what a busy road. Parked up the road and walked to G. Z.. Found what I was after. The existing log is very damp and starting to fall apart. But I did manage to get our stamp on it. .Sorry, we had no replacement logs that size with us to replace it. Tftc
I had this geocache's coordinates after visiting [Oxley - Mulberry](https://coord.info/GCQGDP) on 16/12/2023 during a day targeting some of the *Oxley* series. I found a parking spot coming up to this geocache, and I initially overshot the walk's departure, walking down the rocky slope to then come around. Otherwise, the cache was a quick find, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape (other than a small crack in the container's side). The next couple of *Oxley* caches coordinates were obtained, and I dropped a TB for safekeeping and future travels. Thanks [Crew 153](https://coord.info/PRPH14) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was nice to have found this oldie 09/2005 hidden cache, of which is one of Queensland's 500 oldest yet active geocaches.----------Today on my Friday off work, I had the day to meander through the southern suburbs of Oxley, Durack and Forest Lake. With no definitive plans, it was a case of having a general plan and seeing where the day took me. It probably involved more walking than intended, with the days heat causing slow and lethargic conditions, but I enjoyed the long walks in Oxley Common and Archerfield Wetlands. As I headed through the southern suburbs, I stopped at a couple of Locations of the [Mascot Wars Episode II: Attack of the Binnys](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/ec31fd07-d344-49a0-b7c8-0e78708c5b35) Adventure Lab. A few more of the *Oxley* series were visited, and then I closed out the day at Forest Lake completing the [A stroll around Forest Lake](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/be586bb7-6786-46a8-956f-6568d92d0be8) Adventure Lab.
Today I was over visiting my son because my wife was on the sherbets with some of her friends. I had a few hours up my sleeve before the drunken call to pick up a flock of wobbly ladies came through. This hide is only 10 minutes from his house so we flirted with the rain hoping for the best. On the drive we saw some clouds greyer than a geriatrics hair dye colour and somehow not a single drop fell.We did the usual reccy of driving passed a few times looking for a spot to park and ended up around a corner. After a short walk back it was time to bash through the long grass. There was no point looking for a trail because the grass has definitely been juicing like a Gladiator. It wasnt far of the path and not long before we had the prized uncovered. tftc
We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Loving our time around Brisbane and around the area. Today we just grabbed a few around the area we were staying.
Tried to stop off here but the road is too busy. Found a safer place around the corner and walked back. It look like it may have been covered in a pile of fresh dirt but afte a closer examination, there was a geo trail leading into the hint, where a well hidden container was found. The clues for next caches where a bit hard to read, so hopefully I have them correct.
Thanks Crew 153 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

I recently noticed that I hadn’t found this cache. I have found others in both directions from this one so I think this one must have been disabled when I was finding them a couple of years ago. Now, did I keep the coordinates? They weren’t with the cache details as I didn’t know how to access disabled caches at the time but I found some coordinates that I’d kept with Mulberry and they seemed to be in a likely location.
Being in the area today, I decided it was time to find this one. I parked up a side road, so it was a bit of a walk as it was too busy to stop and park near gz.
It was an easy find at gz. Even though the container is a bit broken because of its age, the logbook is dry. Hopefully I’ll get to do some more in this series soon. Tftc

It’s been 5 years since I found my last Oxley series cache. I was keen to continue but with Wheelstanders archived and Mulberry either washed away or buried, I wasn’t sure what to do.
Thankfully the CO provided me with the next set of coordinates and today I happened to be passing right by so I couldn’t resist.
I was certainly not appropriately attired for the terrain and I do wonder what people in the cars thought when they saw me disappear suddenly over the edge. Over some rocks, through some lantana and grass and then I easily spotted the cache but of course with no pockets, I had no pen! So back up to the car and back down again to sign the log.
Thanks Crew153 for the cache placement and for getting me going up the creek again.

Was nearby so thought I’d grab another oxley cache. Parked up the road a bit and walked down and headed in through the long grass.
Spotted the cache and added my name. Took note of the next numbers. Tftc Crew 153

I have now found all the caches in this series except the final and have now put that one on my list to do. I have been here before (2019) with no luck but today i followed the compass then after looking here and there i found the cache sitting out in the open. Put some rocks around it to keep it out of sight , not that anyone would come this way. This has been a fun series and looking forward to getting the final one day soon.
Out today to grab a few more oldies and a Adventure Lab.
I found 3 mystery, Traditional, Letterbox and a Adventure Lab with 5 waypoint. In the end I got 10 finds for today.
These two cache were my target ones today

Fairly quick find on this one. As noted the clue is no longer accurate however the coordinates are, so there was no problem.

Going straight in is not always the best option, however we were lucky to find a more suitable and safer way to GZ. Good hide, thanks CO.

Last day around Brissy with Karicka before flying home to Townsville this evening.
After completing multiple geoarts, rare DTT and completing my 5th loop we had time for just a few more.
Karicka had been here before but the cache had alluded him. The pressure of performing in front of a crowd meant he had it within seconds today.
Thanks Crew 153 for creating and placing this for us to enjoy.

After making an early start today with Chamad and NayFee, we met up for breakfast with Triple Turmoil and started working on the Oxley series. After collecting the co-ords for this one, we made our way here. Noting the cache had not been found for quite some time we were not sure how we would go, but were very determined to give it a red hot try.
Arriving at gz we looked for a way in ... there wasn't a really clear path so we decided to just go through. We battled with really high grass and a lot of lantana, but were determined to get to a certain spot for a closer look. By this stage we were on hands and knees crawling to get where we wanted to go, persistence paid off, we soon had the cache in hand.
Unfortunately the clues to the next two in the series were not there, we called the CO who happily provided them for us. These have now been noted in the log book.
Thanks Crew 153 for a great series, a fav from me because I love finding caches which haven't been found in a while.

Out with Chamad, Willis007 first thing this morning and TripleTurmoil joined us later on. We had an action packed day full of adventures. We walked through cemeteries, creeks, bushland, highways, you name it, we probably did it. The day started bright and early at the dead centre of town then we got started on the Oxley series which took us to many wonderful locations.
I do apologise for posting a generic log, I really enjoy finding caches, but when it comes to logging I suck at it, especially when I’ve found so many. We did 27 caches and at times they all merge into one.
I want to thank each and every CO for placing caches at these locations and for keeping them going.
This cache hasn't been found since 2018, that's a fair bit of unloved. GZ is completely overgrown, but we smashed our way through the lantana and head high grass. Woohoo!

After our breakfast stop we meet up with Triple Turmoil and our (Willis007, Nayfee and myself) plan to grab some of the Oxley series began. We started at Pamphlet, the next was canoe and then we continued to work our way through the series, grabbing details for the next caches. We signed the logs and caches as found we then continued onto the next in the series. We even grabbed a few others as we passed while on our travels in this series.
It’s always a fun day when the four of us get together, pranks, jokes, laughter and even some informative conversations. It’s all fair when the pranks get played on yours truly.
With 15 caches in this series and with the distance to be covered there was no way we were going to complete all in a day, but if we get half way I will be happy.
We pulled up to this one and noticed a few write notes and the absence of attendance in a while. We weren’t sure as to if we would found this one. We got to within 8 metres of gz and then there was a huge wall of tall grass and bush, funny thing is if you walk to the bridge and walk around there is no bush bashing. Anyways we got to gz and the coordinates were spot on, it was Willis007 who made the find and we all were so glad to make this one. Upon opening the log our next pieces to the puzzle was missing so a call to the CO was required and we added the necessary details for the next finders.
This was a great find and with a smile on our faces we were off to the next one, thanks for placing this one here.

Nayfee, Chamad, Willis007 and I had a spare day. Perfect! Caching it is. During the week it was decided that we could make a start on the Oxley Series.
This was an unloved cache that hasn't seen human hands for a very long time. We were not sure if we would find it. It was hard work with so much bush bashing, but we were brave. So over grown. We were delighted to find the cache and the CO was delighted when we called to tell him that all was ok (except the important cache co-ords of the next two caches missing). So we fixed the book with the co-ordinates ready to go for the next person. Highly recommend entering the area as close to the concrete creek bank (bridge edging) as possible. Thanks Chamad

Met CO at a cache recently. New attempt here with more info.
The grass is taller than me! And thick too.
Wandered around in the grass and lantana for a while before giving up, again

Sharpem and I were going to go home after the last cache we found in this series but we just couldn't stop. I plugged in 1 wrong number which put me in long grass with no rocks in sight. I soon realised my mistake so at the right gz sharpem and I looked and looked and looked and looked and looked with no luck. Will be back to try to complete this series. Thanks for the fun
Overgrown with tall grass and lantana.
Had a bit of a look but could easily have missed it

To get the souvenir for the final day of 2018, I found this one was the closest one to home.
Slowing picking my way through this series, I parked nearby at the Servo and walked back to GZ. Hint wasn't a great help as there are lots of them but after a little searching, I found the cache hidden away safely. SL, then took note of the next WP's for the next two caches and returned as found.
Thanks Crew 153 for another interesting location.

Found by Mary & David with GeoJo, at 1550. Even on Sunday afternoon, the parking options are limited. At least the workers aren't working. Wonder if students are taught about Oxley these days? Our thanks to Crew 153.
Parked at the roundabout and then proceeded to go down the wrong side of the bridge. Soon realised our mistake and found the metal guardian. Lantana flowering nicely but told apparently it’s considered a weed up here! Tftc!
A day off gave me the opportunity to sneak south of the river and pay a visit to some caches on the darker side of town, especially some of the solved puzzles that are piling up back at HQ .
Given that the verge has been bulldozed, it took quite some time to narrow down GZ and finally grab the container. As others mentioned, it was weird to see a whole big car wash selector box just lying there near GZ
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache **Crew 153**.

We found a random item here but it wasn’t the cache. Despite the cleared look of this area the cache was safe and sound.

Pulling the car up rather quickly here we headed over and noticed the place looked a little worse for wear. Some construction looks to be going on near GZ and some trees have been cleared, so we were wondering about our chances of finding the cache. We did however find an old car wash at Gz - now that would make a cool cache container! - and then soon found the cache still tucked away safely amongst the mess here.
Thanks for the cache Crew 153.

Out and about on this side of town with 1MinnieMoo and wombles creating a few new smileys for our maps.
After sussing out the curious old car wash meter and discussing it's potential as a cache container, we continued on to find the cache. No alligators today!

Maybe we have time for just one more at the end of the day?
We parked not too far away from this one, bought some petrol first since it is quite cheap, relatively speaking, out here. And then it was time to go for a walk to GZ. It looks like there has been some clearing and tree felling in this area however the geocache container was still safe and intact in a very likely looking location. We noted some new information, and then it was a quick walk back to the car.
Thanks Crew153

Out for a fun day of caching with Raynersinoz and barbbowman. We were blessed with a nice sunny day for our adventures and we had a terrific time finding a variety of caches.
We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our names added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you Crew 153 for placing the cache for everyone to enjoy.

It's a Wednesday wander with bb and Mrs JAT this week and we have a beautiful, sunny day to go caching
Yay, another Oxley done and dusted! It was quite busy near GZ and there is obviously a bit of nefarious activity occurring around here and not just the major amounts of rubbish that are blowing over from the rubbish trucks going up and down the road. Yikes, I wonder how long that parking meter has been dumped here for. bb was being distracted by bright and shiny things, but we got her back on track and soon we all had the log signed. We noted some more coordinates for the next Oxleys and headed back to the car to continue on our caching journey. TFTC Crew 153

Found the infamous rubbish structure here and a cache! Wahoo . Have two more coordinates to go on with this series. Tftc
Well the next one for us to find after being at Oxley Mulberry was of course this one and we probably parked further away than necessary but the exercise was good all the same. Once we got to where it was pointing us to go I headed down to see what I could find. We did spot some old contraption that looks as if it was used at one of those help yourself car-wash places like it was a panel for the vacuum or something but now to get back on track for we were really after. After a few minutes we made the find, signed the log, grabbed some new co-ordinates, placed the cache back as found and were off to the car to get some more. TFTC, found with ODST 501 and my little tike.

I pulled up on the shoulder. There wasn't much room but I was off the road and couldn't see anywhere up ahead to stop. Plus the rain could return at any moment.
Arriving at GZ, my attention was taken by the large vending machine resting there so I didn't even notice the cache at first but I soon spotted it sitting in the open.
After signing the log, I added a bit more camo.

I had time to come and find another in this series today. I parked down the road a bit and walked up to the cache location. Quite a busy road here!
I like the work done by a previous visitor to contain and cover the cache container. It blends in well there and hopefully wont get muggles, although I get the impression this area gets visited by people taking a look at that dumped machine thingy?
Anyhow, cache located and logbook signed. I didn't forget to write down the next two sets of coordinates for this series. I will get to them eventually, but not today
I didn't take the little toy glow worm thingy the previous finder left. Cute little guy though. I thought about taking it for my grandson, but his parents buy him everything brand new, and I didn't bring anything to swap anyhow
I took a picture of the nearby waterhole and will post it with this log.

Found it! Nothing in cache but I left a toy I was fond of as a child - Glo Friends glow-in-the-dark bedbug 1980's Vintage by Hasbro. Please post to say if you take it with you and then I'll know it's been re-homed somewhere good
Some strange things can be found here... Soon I spotted a very obvious hide.

Such a shame to see the rubbish here. Geocaching has made me realise how much rubbish is thrown everywhere. TFTC!
Just one more before we leave Bris again on our way back to Toowoomba. I too spied the car wash pay machine thingy and was hoping I didn't have to go that far down but I did. After a short search I grabbed the hide to sign my name. Ticking off this Oxley series one cache at a time. Everything in great condition here. TFTC Crew153
This cache was on the list of caches that I wanted to find today. I had been past here previously, but had been unable to find somewhere to park due to roadworks. Knowing that roadworks are not usually conducted on weekends, I headed here. I found somewhere just off the road to park and wandered to GZ. The first thing I spotted was the parking machine. Hmmm. Then I spotted something that every cacher will recognise. Sure enough, there was the cache. I sgned the log and noted the cooords for the next couple. After rehiding the cache, I headed back to the car and off to the next one. TFTC
This was the next one today.
Geopartner parked down the road and I headed to GZ.
Arrived to find an old relic. I think someone wanted some loose change.
Next to it was what I needed.
Grabbed the next two clues and signed the log.

Cache is now in a lovely little hide made possible by Mrs RoddyC's building talents, it will not be washed away again. Amazing to see the pay station and wonder how the robbers got it to that spot without being spotted. TFTC
Caching today with DiamonJS working through the Oxley Series. We could not find this one, despite being on the phone to the CO, who gave us the OK to put in a new Cache and Logbook. Mrs RoddyC constructed a nice new shelter and all looks good! We received no pay for doing this as the nearby machine was completely broken Found at 9.30m on 3rd July 2015. TFTC.
Technically I did not find this cache. At GZ I did find the coin machine. Not wanting to get busted for the crime I was not going to touch it. I did have a look around though. I read a couple of previous comments and thought mmm, a lidless Eclipse tin with a destroyed log. Will I be gaining anything by coming back and finding it? I found the location. I have done what I set out to do so I am logging it as a find and moving on. Yes I did report the crime to Crimestoppers only to read all the logs and find out the machine has been there for YEARS.
Out with the Geo wife on a Sunday afternoon with the plan on grabbing a few caches specifically in this series.
This one took longer than it should have but I realised why when I found the cache. Not what I expected. Now I see that this dodgy eclipse tin went in by a fellow cacher on the 13/8, and 4 months later its still here, broken, no lid, full of water, soaked log (or whats meant to be a log anyway) Managed to get a smudged signature on it and was on my way to the next, covered in bites from the mozzies. The series is not what I was expecting, thats for sure. Nonetheless its a smile anyway. Tftc

Tftc
We missed this part of the series on our last run through. We got the coords from the previous cache, which was a lot easier to find after some reassessing of the area.
Parking as near as we could to GZ, we ventured over and made a fairly quick find. The cache does indeed need replacing - the log was barely able to be written on, and the lid is missing.
TFTC, enjoying the series so far. I always imagined a cache around here would be nice.

Got to love the stuff we geocaches come across, a pay station for a parking lot or should I say 'was for'. Maybe they used the cache container to carry out the coins who knows. I signed the replacement log/tin took a pic of the coin machine for my Facebook page on geocaching. Thanks crew luckily I got next co-cords for the next cache from the last as this one is Mia. Tftc
The things you find... The remains of the revenue collecting machine are still here... As is the temporary cache... Thank goodness for resourceful cachers... and micky d's.... tfttc... not terribly sure if this is a true find or not...
Found the temporary container and signed the log. I should be able to keep going another day as you kindly put two coords on each. Tftc. I wonder where the ticket machine was stolen from and dumped at gz. And fir what? Maybe $200? Crazy.
Well we really wanted to get this one today. A call to the CO and we knew the cache was missing. So finding a dodgy eclipse tin in my car I added a short temporary log so any other cachers looking for this one would not have to go home empty handed. This Oxley series is good, but it's taking a while. We will be back to finish the last few.
Out for the day with Bristracker , picking up some Oxley and assorted puzzles and a few other icon caches. We tried to find this cache last time we were out to no avail. Tried again today and still no luck so we rang the CO and discovered the cache was not where it should be. We put a temporary replacement log at GZ until to CO can replace the cache. Seems this is also where old parking meters go to die TFTC
Out with karenhippo trying to make a headway on the Oxley series. It was getting late by the time we got here but we were confident we would find it. Alas there was no find for us today. We looked and looked but came up empty handed. Will watch to see if we can get any clues for this one.
!!!!! tftc!!!!!!! ducked into find cache but found a crime so had to report it to police see photo.
A lot of trash next to GZ. Sad to see so many people do not care about our environment. TFTC
After a desperate PAF the previous night to Swellerfungus on another one from this series, we both decided to soldier on and see how far we could get in this series tonight, starting at 7pm, we managed to get all the way to the end.
This cache was an interesting one, the nearby surroundings were a little odd (see fungus note)

I received a PAF yesterday from a troubled Egginthesky looking for one of the hides in this series. As always it was a pleasure to help, and it got me thinking that I should go and try for some more of this excellent series myself. So why not ask EITS to join me for a night time run and see how far we can get in this series!
Meeting up in the ZOOMIN' SHROOM at 7pm at her house we set off with a spring in our step, and this was the first new find for me of the evening. After overshooting the coordinates, parked and went back towards GZ. EITS eventually calls out from the underbrush that she has found the ‘parking meter’ found by the last few users. Soon after she had the cache in hand, and we retrieved the new cords, and put out names in the logbook.
We discussed how cool the parking meter would be as a cache container, but soon forgot about it when we tried to lift it up –sadly it weighs a ton!
Oh well, lets continue for the next hide. Thanks Crew, other than the cracked lid all is well with this cache container and logbook!

Good Friday and this road is fairly quiet. Parked the car nearby and walked back to GZ. Spotted the dumped cash machine then spotted the cache.
Contents all in good order but the lid is cracked.

Another cache smiley conversion for our geomap today. An easy find. TFTC.

I have been steadily progressing along the Oxley series of caches, however I noticed I had somehow skipped completing this one. I checked the various notes and photos I had taken but nowhere could I find having recorded the coordinates for this one. Revisited an earlier cache in the series and grabbed the required info. Had a chance to finally cross this one off. Parked at the local servo and walked back to GZ where I promptly spotted the cache and the legendary dumped cash machine. No dragons dropping today, the water levels are quite low with the lack of recent rain. Tftc
Took a previous cachers advice and parked at the service station. Glad to see that flytipping is not only TFTCLoving this series so far. Hope I will complete before returning to UK.
having fun with the series so far hopping to finish it before grandparents go home at the end of the week. TFTC
I usually play bridge on a Tuesday evening. This evening I was still feeling pretty awake after the game, so I thought I would have a look at a few unknown caches in this neck of the woods.
I had to park a little way off but it was an easy walk to GZ where I found... a parking meter!
It didn't look too healthy being on it's side and lying open. I was tempted to salvage some bit of wire as a souvenir but decided that was a little too dodgy so I set about checking for the cache.
A few minute scouting about and I had found it. Signed up, took the next coordinates and decided I had time for just one more ...
Thanks for the cache Crew!

Another cache that it took me a while to work out suitable access.
Thanks for the cache Crew 153.

After a failure at the last one in the series with Ms Maddy, we checked out the cache data before moving on to this one. With all things looking good we made our approach.
Quite surprising to find this one good with a parking meter laying near by along with various other bits of stuff being dumped in the general area.
I quickly spotted though the spot where the cache would be sitting as some noises were heard in the bushes. Ms Maddy kept look out while I grabbed the cache, made the needed signing and collection of coords, and got it back.
Time for a Ice Cream Stop it would seem

As the girls' night in was cancelled tonight, I decided to get some fresh air on this lovely day and make an afternoon of it caching with OrionJ.
We found the parking meter machine first, and wondered how far it had travelled to this spot.
I heard something in the bushes but by then OJ had located the cache. It was probably the wildlife checking us out
On we rolled to the servo for ice cream...

Also parked at nearby servo and strolled down with lots of traffic zooming by, checked out the creek and all the rubbish in there, hot close, waited till traffic went past ducked in close to GZ, upon first inspection all I could see were bongs and a meter box but after a bit more of a search I found the cache. Tftc.
Another of this series smiling. I took advice from a previous post and parked at the servo. Quite an obvious find when you spot it.
I was keen to find this one too as I drive past here so often! I used to ride the bike along here as well but it's just so dangerous, I go a longer but safer route now.
I parked opposite the servo and walked back. It wasn't at all where I thought it would be, but once again an interesting spot. Amazing when you get a bit closer to the action to see what's in our local environment.
Reasonable easy find, a bit more looking for me than the others but perhaps I was distracted by the parking meter!
Cheers Crew 153

Found with The Hunting Rabbit. This one had us dumbfounded for a little while, even though it was in quite plain view once we stumbled upon it. TFTC Crew 153.
Being so close to home this one has been on the radar, but due to where it is we've kept driving past. After learning this cache was still in tact after the floods we decided we should give it a go. Today we drove by on the way home from the Brisbane Markets with Dansync, parked just past the bridge and walked back. There's not much of a parking spot, but just enough to get off the road. We headed down the bank and found the car wash pay machine. It's sad to see this rubbish just dumped off on the side of the road. We extended the search slightly and Dansync spotted the cache. We put it back slightly better so it's out of sight. TFTC Crew 153. Now I can continue on with the series.
Thanks to Nurseyjulie and Hiltonclan for checking the condition of the cache today.
Looks like I was lucky, Cache now back on line.

Parked the car over the road and walked along the road towards the bridge. Had a search around the long grass and turned over a few items of debris before Hiltonclan turned over the rock. All safe and dry too! TFTC
After working through the other Caches that had been disabled and not finding the previous one. I was glad to see this one high and dry. Nice hide. TFTC.
I fear this one may be in Moreton Bay now.
I will check it out when the waters have receded

This was the drag and drop one! Getting hotter at this point in our Oxley search. sad that the tip is right near the river. Thanks Crew 153. Great idea to follow a river's course.
I ended up parking about 200m away and walked back to this one. I've enjoyed following the Oxley waterway today and was looking forward to finding the carwash money meter which sits just a few metres from your cache. It looks like all the coins have been extracted from it too.
Noted down some more coords and continued on my way.
Thanks Crew 153

It's been a while since I found the previous cache in this series, so thought I might try to find another one this afternoon. Had driven past here before, so I knew where to park and made the walk to GZ. After a bit of searching, I finally located the cache, signed the log and was on my way. Thanks for this series, Crew 153!
Continuing this great series. Will the creek stretch out to the crack of doom?
Folks, that's no air conditioner nor is it a parking meter. It looks like a vending machine for a carwash and has clearly been stolen from somewhere, maybe even the service station which is not far away. My immediate reaction was to call the cops, but I guess since it's clearly been sitting here for months, the trail will be pretty cold. It was either brought here to be ransacked or dumped or both.
Fortunately, the cache is unscathed and all was fine here today. I look forward to the remainder of the series. TFTC once more, Crew153.

Out and about on the southside getting some more of this series.
Had a bit of a walk from the car to this one, but soon found the geotrail and wandered to GZ. Looks like some people think it's a good spot to get rid of some rubbish I didn't have a bag big enough for the air conditioner! Another easy find. More clues noted TFTC, Crew 153.

We found the parking meter first then the cache - all in good order - smelt a little bit like dragon droppings down there

I managed to slip another one of this series in before work today … even though i was running a bit late . Parking for the truck was kind of limited, so i had a wee walk back to GZ. I followed the GPS's directions into the scrub, and quickly had the treasure in hand
I added my name to the logbook and returned it to where i found it, only with the rock on top, and not beside it. All is ok and dry here. Thanks again Crew 153 … another one down

Took my chances and decided not to buy a parking ticket form the nearby machine The cache was located, log signed and me back on my way in under 5 minutes anyway
I thought day was going to be wet...but the sun came out, so I quickly packed the bike and on the train. A good day to be out and about caching.
This series is the reason I am caching this way today. Must find a few more of these....must...must...
I parked the bicycle close by and started my search. It did not take me too long. I added a big rock on the downhill side of the hide as it looked like it would slide in the mud.
Anyway, All dry and in good condition. Thanks for the cache.

Bit of a walk back to this one, and a surprise parking ticket machine had us thinking of how long this might take, but thankfully it was right there for the logging. Another Oxley series find ticked off.
After a bit of a drive around we decided to park west of GZ and walk in from there. This worked perfectly and we were soon heading into the bush on the hunt[^] After ducking under some undergrowth we swerved around the dead parking meter (seriously!) and soon the cache was in hand. Noted the coordinates but hang on, whats this? Oxley - Crossing? Hmmm....thats not on the list Still not sure the go with that but we have the details so might have to check it out. Cache all dry and well. TFTC Crew 153
