We searched for this one for 10 minutes before reading some logs, and realising that it's gone ... such a shame . A fantastic view of the hinterland and coast from up here ... it deserves another cache.
I had contacted the previous DNF Piky1 and Powellbruce abour the status of this cache, to date no reply from either. Time to take the next step, archive it. Cooran Lookout is a top spot and needs a current cache.
Might I suggest that the owner also contact the previous DFer as to what is happening. A great spot for a cache, pity this one is MIA
This one is still MIA, has been for over 12 months, I have sent an email to the previous DF, asking whats happening, great lookout, pity the cache is MIA.
Any chance of the owner doing some maintence, This is my 3rd today DF of yours.

We found it but the notebook(all there was) was sopping wet inside the plastic bag inside the plastic container. We decided to bring it home, dry it out and return it in a few days..We will add a new note book in a more waterproof container and add some little treasures (to make it more exciting) It was fun to read the records of past treasure finders.
The literal high point of 8 hours out in the wet, having fun riding. Cache full of water and no log book. Left a scrap of paper in a baggie, but needs new log. TFTC
Muggles left just as we arrived . Good views . Grabbed TB to move on .TFTC and thanks for bringing us up here.
The lookout was deserted when I turned up. Lovely spot with great views. The cache showed itself quickly after I was distracted by what looked like a swappable item in good condition sitting by itself in another part of GZ. I took it and placed it in another cache.
Signed log and placed King of Spades TB. TFTC powellbruce

On a 4wd trip in the area, with a group of about 12 other 4wds. Stopped here for smoko, and the wind was fairly blowing. I made an easy grab of the cache, and took it back to the car to sign. I was then explaining caching to some of the other 4wders there, when a voice piped up- Thats why we cant find it- other people on the trip were also cachers. Then shared the find, and replaced at 0945hrs.

found cache out in the open ,contents damp, council doing landscaping?maybe they left it in the open.its now covered.near where it was tn.leftdice and poker chips.
introduced the old man to geocaching on this one, found a couple of other intersting things b4 finding the cache.
After scatching around for sometime and a recheck of coordinates Capt Compass spotted something that proved to be a winner. A great spot for the views and a place worth while visiting.
Arriving at GZ I decided to have a walk around and check the area out before trying for the cache.
Returning to GZ I started to search but 10 minutes later I was still empty handed. Venturing over to the car to check the PDA I found that it had decided that it wasn't going to play the game today.
Back to the search and just when I thought that I would have to log a DNF I spotted something. A few seconds later and the cache was in hand at 1015hrs. Log book signed and returned a lot quicker than the find.
I definitely made this one a lot harder than it should have been. (it was going to be a long day if that kept up)
Thanks for taking me up there PB.

Now this what I like about geocaching. It takes you to places you would never know about. What a great view and park, thanks for taking us there.

Easy find....in fact too easy...heaps of muggles have found this over the years, took my daughter with me, and as going thru the log book, she alerts me, guess what? in march 2006 her and her friends found the cache and wrote their name in the log book, and sure enough i found her name, she had, she promised me that they didn't take anything, but looking through...others have. So I left a keyring and took the geo coin, sorry butterfly lady, the coin aint safe here, will relocate on sunday, so maybe the cache needs relocating at the lookout, maybe a bit further towards the southwest.
found this one today nice find took nothing left smell the roses geocoin a nice place for the butterflies i think.
Thanks for this cache.
I'v lived in the area all my life, but never been here.

Easy find with great views of the Sunny Coast. Kids will enjoy the cache location too.
Ah yes, the lookout. After spending time tracking down geocaches by Scrub Bull, I think I tried to make this one harder than it actually is. Oh no, don't drive right there, instead park a kilometre away and walk along the Noosa Trail. Hot, sweaty and tired, I was actually picked up by a passing Subaru which appeared through the bushes. Oh dear, so I could have driven right to the cache? Bugger! But, this trial and tribulation paid off. This will make a good place to park the caravan and spend the night. The lights of Noosa will be lovely. Thanks powellbruce. It seems that as many non cachers have found this one as cachers, but it is rather hard to re-hide. TNLN
very easy find, had been recently found by a non geocacher who left an entry in the log, maybe a new starter. great to see it still there.
covered lightly with leaves as it was very easy to see in the open.
tnln thanks

Found this at 1032 after a long drive and short search. Nice view even she who must be obeyed like it.
Sunday of the big caching weekend with David from THENANKS and powellbruce. A lovely location though the low cloud did block out the long view. Thanks powellbruce
Number- 852 , Sunday of our great numbers hunt with Powell Bruce and Liz and Bruce Hanish. This is a great vantage point to just about see forever. Even though it was wet and cloudy it is a must see. Thanks for the adventures and placing the cache. Cheers The Nanks
Hasn't the mini muggle been having fun. Cache was still well covered when we found it.
It was a relaxing scene up here today. The cloudy weather was keeping the muggles at bay
So I had plenty of time to look for the cache. Seems a local minimuggle knows about this cache and thinks it's her personal treasure trove. Lots of log book entries. Don't leave geocoins or other tempting trinkets in this one [:o]
On that note the Australia Honeymoon travel bug visited.

Beautiful peaceful day up there today. Found the cache easily even though well covered. Took cool rhino/man and left trumpet. TFTC
Would never have come across this lookout without the search for this cache. Beautiful place and quite deserted. Cache was well hidden. Took book mark, left rhinocerous. Thanks.
1220hrs. Must be the most muggled cache we have found. It was an easy find as it was sitting in the fork of a tree. Log book shows plenty of muggle activity and one even says he took the TB but I think it was probably the geo coin. I wouldn't leave any TB's here. Shame as the views are great. We covered the cache again.

Went looking for this cache today. Nice drive, nice view.
Unfortunately there were 2 muggles sitting a few metres from the cache. I tried wiating for them to leave, but they had more patience than me. Ended up leaving them to the area.
Will be back next time I am in the area.

Found the cache at 9.10am. We walked via scenic trail. It was lovely day. No Swap. Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.
Great drive & fantastic views! Scratched around for a few minutes before grabbing the cache in the obvious spot.
Beware there are some nasty thorns nearby!
TNLN
Thanks for the cache.

Decided to go for this one quickly with Platenfailure before heading home. Were happy to find cache not long after arriving. Contents looked very muggled, so made the decision not to take anything or leave anything. Unfortunately muggles don't understand that the fun is all in the hunting and the finding, not the actual contents.
After rushing to get here before meeting with some friends at Pomona, the sky broke open and it poured. Had to sit in the car for 10min or so with the kids itching to get out and start searching. Joe found the cache after mum failed dismally. Meika's turn to swap trinkets - took radio and left chicken and glass ornament. Fantastic view, I think (it was raining).
10:10hrs Nicely hidden I wasn't expecting to find it so close to me whilst I was concentrating on looking elsewhere. TNLN. TFTC. Too cold and windy to enjoy the views today.
Second find for the day, great spot with wonderful views. Took awhile to find the cache, kept looking down instead of up. Highly populated with muggles, had to wait for them to leave. Took nothing left orange keyring.
We found the cache as my GPS was locking on... Nicole spotted it, while I was about to say "it should be about there". Cache was not hidden well, I suspect due to muggles interference. We hid it better, but it was found by more muggles as we were about to leave. Had to explain what it was all about so that it would live for another day.
We took toy duck, toy car, pink plastic lid and shell (kids were overexcited), and left small electronic radio.

Geomuggles everywhere, found the cache but had to be careful that the muggles did not know what we were up to. Very discreetly took the cache back to the car for the exchange.
Took tweety, left race car.
Cache back home safe

Found after a quick search. Last visitors did not secure the lid - fair bit of junk, ants etc, inside. Excellent views.
We were impressed with view and these spots keep building up as places we have to go back too but will we have the time....oh yeah! Muggle around so sat back and let the knee high sniffers out.Jess and Curt took out the cache in no time at all.I said "I could have done that" and they said " yeah.... right!" Kids... they just dont understand!
Took indian.Left glasses. Thanks for the memories.

Were running out of daylight but thought we'd give it a go as this was our first day of geocaching without an expert. Nice spot, great view spent a bit of time looking and were about to abort but thought we'd give it one more go, had success with Aaron getting very excited for his first find.
Made a few swaps, took buddhas left tonka truck and bouncy ball. TFTCSL.

Last one for the day - on the way home...
Didn't know this spot existed, but it also helps if you take the right road when trying to get there .
Had some young helpers along for the day, and given that we had the place to ourselves, and at sunset to boot, I decided that I wasn't going to help them with this one .
Well they searched for 30 mins, but eventually came up trumps...Sophie found it, Kristin grabbed it...team effort all round. Righto here we go, chance to score a FTF...but wait there's plenty of logs in the book already, hang on...no dates, no sign offs, some not relevant or complementary...its been muggled again , but the loots in tact? [8)] not that we knew what was in there in the first place, but there was certainly enough too keep the girls happy... at least it appears that some have bothered to read the note.
The girls took: a hedgehog and thimble, Leaving: a small globe (of the planet variety), plastic toy something or other, a supa ball and yet another budha (similar to the one already in cache)
Placed it back where we found it - but added some extra cover...a bit of camouflage would certainly help (unfortunately didn't have any with me).
While we might try to claim an official FTF by log and net, the girls don't care - its a definite FIRST for them.
Thanks to: James M. McKane for the site & powellbruce for the cache...

Finally got up here with every thing i needed gps cache and no muggles founds a better more secure site I hope.
Sorry for the delay in getting it back up and running.
Sorry for the delay in getting it back up and running.
Cache has gone AWOL still think this is a good site for a cache will try and dispatch a new cache up there in the next couple of weeks and find a beter hiding spot.
Ok we reckon we worked out where it should be and search we did but in the end we failed to find this cache. Either it is not there or we need a labrador.
