I did not find it as I am a student who has a school starting at 8:45 while the shop opens at 9:45 no way I can get it
Please disregard the NA log. It appears that the cacher has not read the description of the cache"THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES"
Out and about with Hatzofff, cashing a few of the older caches. Scratched around for a while ,when all of a sudden my geo wife spotted it.it was great to find the cache in such a good condition..
Made a hospital visit this morning and headed home in the direction to find some of these caches. Only 3 more to complete the series and heading closer to the goal line for a couple of Challenges. Caching with GEM_54.TFTCache Crew 153
After WP1 on an earlier trip, finally back to find WP2. It had recently flooded but has stayed in its spot given its a tight fit. Bit wet so dried it out best I could and still readable.Got ahead of myself at WP3 looking for final but found next clue instead then off to final. Very happy to get this one to round out 2023.Thanks for the series
This was a really enjoyable multi. It was a lovely walk along the creek. All of the way-points were a bit challenging to find but they were all there. The journey from one point to the next was never as easy at it seemed and required some thinking. And the final was very well hidden away. It took me about 20min to find it but it wasnt covered at all and was actually very visible from the right spot. Well done Crew153 on creating this great multi and for the nicely hidden cache!
After an awesome event called "Winsome Wishart's Wondrous Waypoints", we continued to look for some more caches. We found this one and signed the log. Tftc Crew 153
TFTC smile 17231 out and about on a lovely day After the Event went with TBU to collect a few Oldies Signed as GS1947 a oldie for a oldie FP Thank you Crew 153 for placing this cache for our enjoyment
8/2/2023 Find #5682
SaintsMadHouse and I have teamed up for some serious Wednesday antics this year. Today we were slightly delayed in our start (thanks 1GiantPanda ) but we had some form of plan to follow at least.
First waypoint certainly had us stuck. We searched here, we searched there, we searched everywhere. Then we went back there again and searched some more. All to no avail. But a call out to the lovely gentlemanly CO and we were soon replacing this WP for him.
The second waypoint we foind easily, and we also found the right way in that did NOT involve people’s backyards. A pleasant stroll to this one, and a peaceful spot at that.
We found the third waypoint easily enough, tho tested our terrain skills to be certain to get the numbers right.
Then we were onto the final, which we found safe and sound fairly quickly at GZ. SaintsMadHouse manoeuvred her hand to extract the cache from its tight little spot before dropping a TB in here.
Thanks for the cache Crew 153.

I am logging these in random order as I did a few and can’t remember which order we did them in. The day was nice weather for a change and we were not in any real hurry so we kind of just went all around and around and back n forth a bit to grab a few oldies. Replaced some wet logs and a cache as well at one place.
After finding Whipbird today, I noticed that the first waypoint was close to where my car was parked. I spent some time looking but with so many nooks and crannies, made a PAF. At gz, amazingly, it was an easy find. Noted the next two sets of coordinates for another day. Tftc
First find of the morning on the south side.
Started this series years ago but never got around to finishing it. I’m now one step closer.
Cheers

Muggle65 and l found ourselves near this one today. It was a lovely peaceful spot till the wee dog started up. And he didn't stop. I was very relieved when M65 found the prize. Thank you for the fun
The waypoint on this one took us a long time to search & finally sent out a request for HELP! Call was answered & assistance given so we could complete this one. Nice hide, we found it while being serenaded by a small dog over the back fence.
Out today to grab 7 oldies from Crew 153. Thank you for keeping these caches going. Had lots of fun finding them. I did need to Paf a few times for help on a couple of them.
So now Mimosa series finished and one to go on the Oxley series to go.
Plus 3 for for a new challenge on the Northside.
So I found 10 for today. The breakdown was 7 mystery, 2 earthcache and a multi.
Sorry for the generic log.

This afternoon, and with the threat of rain storms not coming to light, I was able to escape to the south. My first few geocaches was in the Sunnybank area trying to target a few more of the *Mimosa* creek series, before continuing south targeting a few particular geocaches. It was just a matter of filling in time until attending the scheduled Beenleigh *Logan Geocaching Catch Up* event.
Having just found Mimosa - Whipbird, I was able to make a start on this puzzle (multi-) cache. Waypoint 1 took some time in locating, but in contrast, I was able to find the clues at Waypoint 2 and Waypoint 3 without too much difficulty. It did take a while to find the cache however, and I don't seem to be any good searching through fig trees, as there are just so many darn possible hiding spots. Eventually, I managed to make the find, and as chamad said in his log, it was certainly a keyhole indeed. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Crew 153 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. It was also nice to have visited this oldie 09/2005 hidden cache, which is one of Queensland's 500 oldest and active geocaches.

Finally got it, 2 years after starting the hunt at WP1. Came back earlier in the year and only had time to find the clue at WP1. Long trek to grab WP2 and 3 yesterday and in for the final today. Merry Cachemas! Extracting the cache felt like that scene in Flash Gordon where they take turns to put their arms into holes in a tree stump, within which lies the deadly 'tree beast'. This image didn't help. Within 3 years finders will need a Dremel to open up the extraction paths - probably.
Enjoyed the trek! Great series.
Enjoyed the trek! Great series.
An early mark from work and a couple of hours to kill before school pickup sees me driving over to the Southside to finish off the mimosa series of caches and a few as I passed by.
The mimosa series was of particular interest as it fills in some older caches that I have been targeting. It was a great series and one that kept me entertained and took me to a lot of different areas and unusual spots, thank you.
This one I think will be a little hard to get in a few years as the tree is going and the container requires some fine key holing to retrieve. With log signed and cache gently placed back I was off to the next on the list.
Fast forward an hour or so and I get a phone call, were you at McGregor today? Were you caching today? I’m stalking you! Turns out the Friday fun clan was out and about, though missing a few of the clan, lol. I love being stalked, lol.

Found with Peppa .
Well that was a bit of here there and everywhere. Did very much feel like we were walking through people's backyards at one point but don't let that stop Peppa - wave to the lady and the kid on the trampoline and just keep going apparently . With Peppa scratching all around the final location like a bush turkey I'd thought I'd better put in my bit and have a squiz around as well. Low and behold first place I looked. Thanks for the adventure Crew153

I’ve had the starting co-ordinates for this cache for a long time… it’s been six months since I attempted M1 and failed, so in the company of PirateLinda I decided to hunt this cache…
We got lucky at WP1 and found what we were looking for quickly, even with Geepers wanting me closer to the creek…
Once we worked out how to get to WP2, I may have left PirateLinda behind as I was adamant I was on public land…just because someone plants a couple of outdoor chairs in the greenery doesn’t mean it’s private property…
After that it was plain sailing where PirateLinda made the find at GZ…and a 2005 logbook too… it took a moment to realise we weren’t the first visitors here today… I do enjoy stalking chamad…
Thanks Crew153 for keeping this oldies going…

Out with TripleTurmoil, Willis007 and Bella the Geodog for a day of caching on the south side while paying close attention to the Mimosa series and grabbing a couple other caches along the way.
We're nearly halfway through the series now and doing rather well for time. We enjoyed this one and thoroughly enjoyed the walk to each waypoint, even though Willis007 has done this one already she was keen to join us for the walk. We had no issue finding the numbers needed for each waypoint and also had no issue spotting the hide at the end. Great final location and I was also surprised to see the original log in this cache and in great condition to.

Today Willis007, Nayfee and I decided to make the Mimosa series our mission. Willis007 had already completed some of them but was happy to take us to the first few so we could finish together. We had a late start to the day but did manage to complete the whole series in 6 hrs (with a few side-tracked extra caches).
A bit of a mission. Original log book which is nice to see.
A bit of a mission. Original log book which is nice to see.
After a busy morning with a list of target caches, I was easily side tracked on to other things, but wanted to collect this one before heading back over the river.
I didn't realise at the time this was a few stages, but had time before Mother's Day lunch so got stuck into it.
WP1 was quickly found when I realised where I should be looking, my gps had me in a different spot. Getting to WP2 was a lot harder than finding what I needed there, but I got both in the end. WP3 was perfect, spotted as I arrived at GZ, and thankfully it wasn't too tricky to get to the final.
The cache was found after a couple of minutes of digging around, log signed, clues for others in the Mimosa series noted, and all replaced as found.
I turned back to the first page of the log, a lot of it was faded, but I did like the comment "this was a long walk'.
Thanks Crew 153 for a fun cache, very enjoyable.

We had begun this multi some months ago and got ourselves to WP1, however it was getting late, and we had commitments we needed to meet elsewhere. It’s amazing how life gets in the way of Geocaching!
Back today, and we retraced our steps to WP1 to confirm the information we had. All good there, except for the fact that we took a few false pathways to get to WP2, which meant an about face a couple of times.
Eventually we decided to try something else, and we soon had a good pathway where we found our next clue. It was then time to walk to WP3 ( all good and a quick find here) and then continue our walk until the final.
A short search at GZ soon revealed the goods. We were grateful for this since the options were quite a few, and the light was now a little dim.
Everything is very green and wet at the moment. The recent rains have meant that the creek is running well and there are plenty of mosquitoes about. We really enjoyed this meander and were happy to return back here and claim a smiley for this one.
Thanks Crew153

That was an adventure and a half.
WP1, a bouncy GPS had me looking in the wrong spot near the water before I focussed more on the obvious plant...leaf coverage almost made me give up before I found the container.
WP2, exact same story as WP1...but less time was spent searching.
WP3, easiest find of the bunch.
At the cache, I thought leaf coverage and poor light would make me give up after 5 minutes of searching, Luckily, after 4 minutes of searching, the cache was spotted.
A great hunt for this one through nice patches along the waterway...with a satisfying end!

After work I decided to tackle some more caches in this series. I found 3 all up today and this was the second and I had so much fun.
Wp1 I looked in one spot and it wasn't there . Then I looked in every other spot before finally looking better at the first place I looked and there it was
Wp2 it took me awhile. Happy days
Final I was lucky enough to spot the cache quickly which could have taken a lot longer. Love these trees. Thanks for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy

This section of the park along the creek was a nice spot for our lunch. After we’d eaten we set off to find us some Waypoints.
WP 1 was easy enough in the most obvious plant here.
WP2 was a bit tricky to get out but we did manage it okay.
WP 3 was spotted easily enough thanks to good coords.
Then on to GZ. My goodness that *is* a big fig! Lucky for us we found the cache rather quickly. (With all those possibilities it could’ve taken us a while.)
Cache was a little tricky to extract but that’s a great spot for it.
Thanks Crew153.

I finished work nearby in daylight hours today and took the opportunity to try and hunt down another of these oldies. I found WP1 after a bit of a search, then proceeded to WP2. My gps took me in circles here but there were really only two possible places and I hunted in the one I hoped it was at first, because the other alternative wasn't that appealing. Thankfully I found it where I hoped and off to WP3. A bit of monkeying around for the next coords and I had the final coords. It was dusk by this time and I debated whether to leave it for another day, but I really wanted that smilie. I headed to gz, using the torch by now and found the container after a short hunt. I added my name to the log and returned the container to its hidey hole. Mission accomplished! As I write this log I realise I forgot to look for the coords for the next caches, so I'll have to visit again anyway, but nevermind, I know where to look now. Thanks for another oldie Crew 153 and for an adventure around this very pretty park and waterway
Found Mimosa M1 in March last year and we saved the info found in the cache.
Since one of the Mimosas was within the 5km radius from today's event, we tried to finish the series.
Once again we didn't read the description! We got worried we will ran out of time!
TFTC Crew 153. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment. All good with this one. (Except for wp2 - wet).
Cheers, E

Having found Mimosa M1 last year we had kept the details for the start of this one. Enjoyed the WP's on the walks along the creek but thought we'd be caching in the dark but was so pleased to finally find a logbook to sign. Now armed with some new co-ords for other caches in the area we were on our merry way.

I started this multi some weeks ago but came to a dead end at WP2 when I found myself on the wrong side of the creek. I'd already walked for too long for someone recovering from recent surgery, so abandoned the search on that day.
I returned today on my way home from work, stressed and exhausted from a harrowing week and hoping for a straightforward find that would fill up today's gap in our calendar. I was not to be disappointed, and was feeling a good deal less stressed too by the time I signed the log book . I parked my car in a different spot this time, further from WP2, and made my way towards the WP on what seemed to be the wrong side of the creek. Soon I found an easy way to cross over and made a quick find of the well hidden waypoint. WP3 was a quick find and happily not far from my car, though I'm really glad I didn't try to tackle that with stitches! I was delighted to see that WP4 was towards home for me so jumped in the car and found a handy spot to park not too far from the provided coordinates. Also delighted to find it quickly and also to discover it was the final. Scrabbled around the dry leaves ttrying not to attract the attention of the yappy dog behind the fence. I had to use a stick to get the cache out as my arm appeared to be too fat to reach in, and I left the stick there for the next person to use. This turned out be be advantageous for me, as I'd only just driven around the corner when I realised I hadn't gathered the coordinates for the next caches in the series and had to repark the car and return to get the coordinates. It had just turned dark as I put the cache back and finally headed home.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache! It was an enjoyable and easy mystery/ multi in a nice little spot.

Monday. Took a bit of poking and prodding but we had the required WP container in hand in just a couple of minutes! Noice. We jotted down the co-ords for the next WP and headed off. We drove down to where we thought we could find a quick way in and nearly had apoplexy when we thought we’d totally got it wrong and couldn’t get into the bit of area we needed to be in. Thanks to Mr SP’s eagle eyes, he spotted a specially made concrete bridge across the creek and we raced off down and then to the second WP. A short search required here as our arrow wouldn’t settle again. I poked in a couple of spots and went back. Aha! Got ya. WP2 found!! WP3 jotted and we headed up back up gorgeous bit of land with the new numbers plus hint in hand.
We rocked up near where we parked! Such luck which was great. A short walk and we waited whilst some muggles passed us by. I clambered up and came face to face with the finals. Had to chuckle. That was quick! Numbers jotted down and we headed off to claim our prize. The obvious GZ was soon presenting itself to us and a search began. It was Mr SP who took one way whilst I took the other. Mr SP made the call and we then signed our names in the log whilst a nearby dog barked away. Well hidden cache here and it was in good condition, as was the log. Replaced as found and we headed off to see how many more of the caches in this series we could find. We saw a really old couch that was wrecked and where it normally wouldn’t be found on the way back to the car.
This was the 5th of 5 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Crew 153***, for showing us this place.

Had my first try at WP1 months ago, as I was making progress on the other branch of the series I had another go.
Soon struck gold (or plastic) at WP1, surprised that I did not find that one last. Will put it down to the heat at the time.
WP2 took some wiggling but eventually I was on my way again.
Made quick work of the final and I can add another puzzle to my finds.
Thank you for this little adventure

A quick find at this location, it took two hands to retrieve and we admired that awesome piece of nature. Tftc
It has taken more false starts than a rusty old mower but I was finally able to claim a find today. I have had the pleasure of visiting the the waypoints and GZ spanning four days. Each afternoon before picking my daughter up from university I would sneak in a waypoint and inch closer to the goal.
Sometime last millennium I found another Mimosa cache which led me to the first waypoint. It was close so I drove around for a bo-peep. This could have been the end of the cache but I found the waypoint within 60 seconds. Feeling lucky, I withdrew all my savings, went to the casino and put it on black. It only took a few seconds to shatter that theory. Uni pick-up completed.
On the second visit I made it to the second waypoint. Finding this piece of magic took some time and it took even longer to get out. I think the tree has taken to it and is desperately trying to choke it to death with love. Having fat fingers did not help but it does help with speed-typing when you want to use 5 letters on the keyboard that are all together with one press. Uni pick-up completed.
On the third visit I realised the third waypoint was right next to where I parked last time. Snap! Once again it seemed to elude me until I got up in there. I plotted the final which was close but I had run out of time again. Where is my time travel device? Uni pick-up completed.
Day four and finally time to attack GZ. It took a bit of time to spot the cache and once again I had to work out how to extract it. I’m not sure how but I managed to get my hands into a strange position but the benefit is that now I could delivery a baby if required. The ants in the cache were a pleasant surprise. Uni pick-up completed (this time with beer). tftc

A nice afternoon out and about - with a plan. Next stop for me today was here, with a fresh option at wp1 I soon was on my way through the waypoints - no issues now - through to final. As Orange Crew noted his is a rather well covered set of possibilities - and I pretty well excavated all of them, and was about to give up when I spied a new place to spy - and voila a container. Phew - My Mimosa journey continues.
Thanks Crew 153 for entertaining me at this location.

Dropped off a new container at WP1. Not saying that the previous 2 are not there but now there are possibly 3 to find.
Couldn't find wp1 for this one - and with my time today coming to an end I decided I would have to return.
Spent a long while looking in all the hidey holes, but the leaves were up to a foot deep in places and no sign of a container despite a good search. Will keep on watch for future finds
I must say this cache took me on a epic journey. I had been to WP1 before but I didn't have my brain switched on nor did I have my caching eyes on. Today I was able to eventually find all the WPs and the cache too. One was a little out of my reach but Muggle son to the rescue then off to the final. Signed the log and replaced cache as found. Only one more in this series for me to do. TFTC
Have to register a DNF here as I wasn't quite sure what I was doing with the hint. Looks like too many WP's for me to understand, I'm still learning but I'll be back again, can't let it beat me
Found with stairman1. We started this series in 2011 and decided it was time to finish it. With no Geodog anymore to accompany us, it was lonely to do these caches. Eventually located this one. Somehow our numbers were wrong. All good here
Found with goldielover. A challenge to get to wpt 2 decided against the direct route. Found an alternate one after a short drive. Another interesting area lost to most of Brisbane. Caching today is really shows us some very interesting spots.

Thought I'd have time for just one more. Arrived at the coords received from my previous find. Found what I thought was the cache easily enough and was walking back to the car to add some paper as it seemed to have no log. Then I realised that this was more like a multi. Ok. Off to the next coords once I worked out how to get there it wasn't too hard to locate. Wp3. What a waypoint. I turned this into a T3 terrible experience which wasn't required at all. Once in the correct location the coords where found. Arrived at gz and gave myself only 5 minutes to find it as I was now late for where I was meant to be. Luckily the cache was located in my allotted 5 minutes. Signed clues noted and returned as found. Tftc.
Mrs Just a Trifle was out for a day of caching fun with barbbowman and Raynersinoz. We had decided to head over to the other side of town to see what adventures we could find
We managed to locate the cache easily enough and with our names added to the log book, we continued on our way
Thank you Crew 153 for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Out with barbbowman, Mrs JAT and muggle mother-in-law Pat today, on the hunt for more Mimosas. This was Mimosa #2 for the day and what an adventure! There was toing and froing, backwards and forwarding, uping and downing, grinding of teeth, pointing of fingers and much hilarity. Loved it and the cache's hiding spot. TFTC Crew153
finishing what we started ... some I am just logging in my tb's
good to redo this one ... I have all the info saved this time
so much nicer to do in the day and not in a hurry

It had taken us 2 years to come back and finish this series ,so when we were asked by Roddy C if we wanted to find these last few ,we jumped at the chance, this series is out of the ordinary and surprise you at the next turn ,thank you Crew 153 for placing these for us to find and a Favourite point as well
Zigged and zagged a bit on this one but we got there in the end.
Geowife swapped a trinket for a different trinket. Dog at nearby residence kept on barking at us. So it's a good watchdog

We got lucky with this one as we were parked next door and I had a hunch and we made the find. the local was not in residence at the time
Wow, what a beautiful tree this old girl is. Thankfully I had HotWheelsDuo with me tonight as finding wp1 was like a needle in a haystack. Again, it would probably be a bit easier during the day but hey life is full of challenges. Mmm, that reminds me, I should check out Fangsoki's new challenge cache after this log.
Anyway, after a bit of a search we soon located the first wp, in great nik too and away we go.
Like all good multi/mystery caches we eventually found ourselves heading for GZ. We grabbed a park in an unusual location but it was a good one, perfect for the final really. The container was quickly located and popped open for the formality's. Unfortunately the contents, other then the log book, were less then salvageable. So like a few other caches in the series tonight, HWD dropped in some nice new swaps for the kids. With everything back in one piece, it was re-hidden and we were on our way again.

Found on a very quick trip to Brisbane. I have slowly but surely been ticking the caches off in this series and am now getting towards the last couple. Having someone who grew up in this area proved very helpful today and little navigation was required. GPS decided to freeze up when we got close to GZ but we're lucky enough to to make a find here. Everything in great condition. TFTC Crew 153
Some days back I come along in search of this one however due to a muggle having a smoke and looking to be settled in nearby had to leave it on that occasion for another.
Today I was back however having forgotten to photograph WP3 had to make a quick stop there to get the right numbers. But soon I was on my way to the final and ready for the hunt. I should have followed my instinct but end up following a more round about way to get in but none the less soon had the cache in hand. Name added to the log and all replaced.

Well today I decided on another attempt on this cache after my last visit did not even result in finding WP1. As per the usual way things go, today it took less then a minute and I had the first WP1. Which was soon followed by WP2, and WP3. Only problem end up being on approach to the final there was someone sitting on the grass at a guess 5-6m from GZ. So I decided better not take a gamble and decided to move to the alternative, will be back for this one day soon.
With NurseyJulie, collecting our cache for the day. We parked at WP1 and began our search. the cloud cover was playing havoc with our phones, so after a while, we decided to ignore them here. We searched a few spots near where our phones put us, but then moved to another feature. A few minutes later, I located the information that we required and we set off to the next WP. We parked the car and began to ponder how to get there. A "helpful" local muggle told us a way - the wrong way. When we finally realised that we had been sent on a wild goose chase, we found our own way to WP2. I quickly located the container, but was having trouble removing the container from its hiding spot. NurseyJulie coaxed it out so that it could reveal its secrets. Off we went again. At WP3, I soon spotted what we were looking for and we were on our way again. At the final, there were sooo many places to search, but NurseyJulie quickly located the cache. We added our names to the log, rehid the cache and made our way back to the car
Continuing our journey of the Mimosa series we made our way to the first WP. Checked the clue and after checking some spots, needed to search a little more and think more about the clue. Clue retrieved and off we went to the next WP. It was over there though.. how to get there? I managed to get my feet wet but I really did not need to as after meeting a local muggle, being directed wrongly, we decided to check out another way.. and it was a much more friendlier route! Small fingers helped to retrieve the next WP and we soon we off to the next nearby point. The final co-ords and it was a short trip to the GZ. Checking around the container was soon spotted and our names signed. Clue to the next in the series noted. TFTC Crew 153
Out with Team Benders this afternoon and it is getting late, so we decided to make this the last one. Just as well, too, as it took quite a while. It wasn't until after we made the decision that we read the Description and realised it was another Multi-cache. And a four-part one at that!
So we input the coordinates we found at the M1 cache into our respective GPSrs, and parked the GeoFalcon as close as we could. We mis-read the hint, and our GPSrs were pointing across the creek, but we knew that was a false reading. So I made a quick call to the CO, who put us on to the correct interpretation of the hint. We searched the closest "plant" and I located the container with the next set of coordinates.
So off to WP2. This time it was definitely going to be across the creek, so a quick check of the good old Google Maps with Satellite, and we motored around to another entry point across the traffic bridge, found a parking spot and set off. This time we knew we were looking for a tree. It was a very pleasant walk through the park alongside the creek and between the houses on both sides. Across the concrete culvert we went and were soon in sight of a likely tree or two. I headed straight for the second of the two likely trees, and soon spotted the covered-over cache, and read out the coordinates for the next waypoint, and the hint that came with it, which, at the time didn't make much sense.
Backtracking soon had us at the point where we entered the park, but the GZ for WP3 was a little further on across the road. I climbed up and found the "stuck" coordinates. Ah, now we are really beginning to understand the CO's hint!
Off we go, deciding to walk our way to the final GZ. Again another pleasant walk in the fading light along the creek with its nicely mown grasses, behind the rows of houses. Arriving at GZ, we saw a clump of trees, and once we were under the canopy, the GPSrs started acting up, as usual. So we went around and around, circling a few close-together fig trees (typical of other locations of hides for this member of the Series), shining our lights and scratching around the bases of the trees. Then I thought - no, not at the base, and I was correct. Here it is - another good-sized cache hiding nicely between the buttresses.
Log books signed all round. I decided to take the TB (Travel Pirate Geocoin) with us to continue his journey to another cache somewhere in the next few days.
Altogether a satisfying hunt in some parkland we otherwise would never have walked. Found at 5.55pm on 2nd September 2015. TFTC, Crew 153. And Team Benders for the pleasure of your company today.

Last one of the Mimosa series for today.
Armed with the coordinates, we headed in to where we needed to be.
GZ was confirmed with the CO and we had what we needed very quickly.
Off to the next area and the one after that and soon found what we needed there .
We were having a lovey stroll around but it was starting to get dark.
Arrived at the final and after a bit of a search RoddyC came up with the cache.
Signed the log and gathered the coordinates for the next.
Lots of parks that I discovered today that I had never been to.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Crew 153 All good with this cache
Will be back to complete the series soon

Found with bennyboppers, misssusan and remsjw today. This one took us a little while, longer than the others so far. First waypoint quickly spotted then onto the next, hmmm there's a creek, we looked at crossing but decided to drive around for an easier way to access, which we found, waypoint was quickly spotted, onto number 3, back the way we came and again quickly spotted the waypoint. Off to the final, which again was quick to spot. Lots of spots here though. Tftc
Back in mid-2012 this geocache defeated me as there was issues with a waypoint. It was quickly fixed, but evidently I continually forgot about it. I noted it went nearly two years without being found, when I was chasing unloved geocaches, but still I didn't pay it enough attention.
In all that time I'd even misplaced the information required, but a quick message to the helpful CO had me back on the straight and narrow. The last of the Mimosa series for me to do, a hide still kicking from 2005 and less than 10 kilometres from home. I best go finally find the damn thing!
This afternoon I was to head Bayside, but I made a bit of a detour out here first. I parked close and investigated the first waypoint. It only took a bit of prodding around to find one of the containers. I normally would hunt down both, but one does the trick. Photo, waypoint, let's go.
Not feeling my best with the tail end of a cold, I decided to not battle with the creek and drove around to a better access point. This turned out to work in my favour for the rest of the adventure. I strolled between the houses, over the very still creek and to the next waypoint. Here it took a few minutes of nimble finger work to coax the waypoint out, but I got it.
Waypoint three was basically where I expected it to be although there was a family of small rodents guarding the spot, which put me off. Luckily I didn't have to get too close to obtain the required information. Alright, next stop is the final!
Others have noted the homeless bloke that lives closeby and his residence is obvious, although I think he might have moved on by now.. poor sod. I grabbed myself a pokey stick and with continual swats at mosquitoes started fossicking about. I looked in every orifice provided but after about three laps was almost convinced it wasn't here.
I re-read logs and checked the location and sure enough, on a subsequent pass, found the container. Not overly tricky to spot, at least not with open eyes. All in good condition here, I signed my name and dropped of a trackable. Another great Crew 153 geocache - and the Mimosa series complete. Thanks for the geocache Crew 153

The sleeping guardian was 20m away and sound asleep allowing a quick grab.TFTC.
I wanted to explore the area more after M1 and was not disappointed. A good cache is one that offers surprises and challenge. WP2 was a tight squeeze and WP3 offered the challenge of a steep ascent with geohound. At WP3 you could see the final but on approach we found someone in restless slumber. Oh well, it has to be Whipbird for the smiley.
While doing a nearby cache, we ran into another cacher.
After spending some time chatting, he gave us a clue to the location of this one.
We quickly jotted down some notes, and headed off to start our search.
Followed the geo-trail, and located the cache in a surprisingly short time.
Looking forward to doing some more of this series.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Crew 153, for us and others to find.

I placed 2 containers at WP1. So if one goes missing, hopefully the other won't. Both have the same information so you don't have to find both.
TFTH once again bombed out here after a two year break. Looked for about 50 mins and looked in every armpit and a***hole of the great beast. Even pushed Miss Chick up the tree to have a look in there and then climbed up to rescue her and had a good check of the orifices while up there. Still she had a good time.
Geo Wife & I were up this way with our son dropping off his computer for repairs so we just had to grab a cache in the area!!
This was the closest so we headed to WP1, we searched for 15 minutes and came up with nothing.
In the end I gave in and called the CO who gave us the approximate location.
We were searching away with still no luck and who would walk up toward us but the CO, he had been just down the road partaking in one of his other pastimes and having finished thought he would visit.
He looked for a minute or two and was unable to find it himself which made us feel a little better but there is so much leaf litter I would be surprised if anyone could find it!!!!
He kindly gave us the coords for WP2 so we headed off in our various directions.
WP2 was way easier and we locked the coords in and headed off again.
At WP3 I was confused and thought I was looking for the cache until Geo Wife set me straight and I spotted the coords.
We had 2 options then for approach to the final driving or walking but we decided on the later and it turned out to be a very pleasant walk along the creek even though it was very hot.
At the final the coords seemed to be suggesting further but the location was obvious so we started to look.
Soon after that we came up with the cache still in good order!!!
Thanks Crew 153 TFTC SL TNLN Thanks for the lovely walk through this peaceful area in the middle of suburbia!!

Well, it's taken a while to return but today was the day. This time WP3 was deserted and after a bit of effort (still recovering from twisting my back recently), I had the final figures in hand.
A short trip later, I found an easy access point and was then looking for a poking stick. After a lot of poking, the cache suddenly appeared in a safe spot. I blame my sunglasses yet again for my eye passing over it the first couple of times. Anyway, more clues recorded and happy to report that all is fine inside this cache today. The Mimosa was looking fine too!

I was quite surprised to find myself back in the area so soon, but after a nice lunch at the I-Thai restaurant nearby, I decided I could have another shot at this one. I parked close to WP2 and then tried to figure out where to jump. I did pretty well and only got slightly damp. A pleasant walk later and I didn't need the phone to spot the likely target. Pushing on to WP3, I was very disappointed to find two Council guys, one in a bulldozer, working very close to the spot. There was no way to look with them there, so it was time to call it quits again. I did pick up a rather nice pendant which had been dropped at the scene though. Until next time...
After a fairly quick find nearby, I thought I'd try for this one too. I followed a likely path only to realise very late it was taking me away from the GZ. Back to the car for a little drive around the big block. I arrived at the site and I ignored an obvious target in favour of what my phone was saying. After very nearly sliding right into the creek, I went back to the obvious target and was delighted to spot a familiar object after a bit of poking here and there. Having failed to read the description fully, I realised I was out of time for more so will have to leave WP2 and beyond for next time.
After finishing work for the day nearby, I had a little bit of time for a small multi/puzzle. I wasn't quite expecting what unfolded, but as I had neither read the cache description, nor read any other finders logs, it was my own fault!
I arrived at the icon mark (and with the assistance of the CO after my last failed attempt!) I quickly had my hand on a cache. There was a lot of luck involved in the find, as it was only the second place I looked.
I adjusted waypoint coords, and set off. Hmm no way over there, maybe that way! I quickly had a second container in my hand, and realised tis was bigger than expected...okay on we go. After some scrambling (in my work attire - including work boots) I knew where the next step was.
Eventually I had a final, and as the sun was setting I knew I had a possible DNF again. With a bit of 'Cache-Fu' I found the little blighter, though not before sticking my hand in a few places I probably shouldn't have (and in hindsight didn't need to!). I was happy to sign the log with the very last vestiges of daylight disappearing. I took the needed parts to this continuing puzzle...but they are for another day!
Thanks Crew153. Very enjoyable ramble in this area.

I have a coordinates saved on my phone a long time ago, may be 18 months now. Put it in, look ok with some recent founds, so I decided to give it a go. My determination to keep my shoes dry works, just need to find the right access points for all the WPs. Tftc
It's Freaky Friday again, and today I get to play with barbbowman We had a lovely walk around Karawatha Park this morning, then met up with T-Tech for lunch at Salisbury, then had a wander around Mount Gravatt this afternoon. A great day out so far [^]
Then I realised how close we were to the start of this cache [^] Woohoo! It's the only one in the series I haven't made a smilie, and really needed to be dealt with! It didn't take much convincing to drag barbb over, and along the way I told her of my woes in finding the first WP I have after all been here twice with no success I was still unsure about finding it today, as the time was almost 5.30pm, and the daylight was fading rapidly, but what the heck... I went back into the hiding spot, and grabbed the WP from the first place I looked!!!!! Geez.... okay, onward...
But the troubles comtinued, as we had some grief trying to find the right way in to the next WP Eventually we had to PAF, and got told our first choice was the right one, and yes, even though it doesn't look like it, it's the easiest way in!!!! Finally we got there, thinking it might be the final, but more onward... Happily after that everything was smooth sailing, and at GZ, barbb made a pretty quick find. Wahoo! I'm delighted to get my name in this one's logbook at last, as it completes the series for me [^] TFTC, Crew 153.
Wahoo! out on a play date with IolantheK
tin man and i were dropped off at the local train station nice and early and made our way south to Park Road
now safely strapped into his seatbelt off we go to
stopped off and had a yummy lunch with T-Tech
tin man does like to socialize
now back to caching ...
hmmm ...
well it was the last for the day so why not turn it into the adventure for the day
off to GZ we go
IolantheK walks up and puts her hand on it (unlike her previous visits )
oh ... oh well ... lets go
there is no way we can do that in the dark ... but our PAF says we can ... so off we go
oh we so should have known
a nice walk around, up, down, across, over, under, back, around
and as we arrive at GZ ... yes the real one this time ... my head says ... HAHAHA you will be here for hours
i will look here ... then here ... found
that was so easy
i think someone was looking down on us with pity
i have only done this one Crew153 but i loved it
can't wait for FastEd and i to come and do the others

Okay, I admit to not reading the listing so was quite surprised to find a WP. And another WP. And then another WP. Silly moi
On this drizzly afternoon I got wet, had to brush ticks off my clothes, fell off an embankment under a bridge and hurt my butt, got poked in the eye by a branch, slid down a muddy slope and did my back, and have a nasty bruise on my leg from walking into a tree branch. Surprisingly, I didn't get arrested at another cache in this series So, a good time was had by all!!!
I ignored the Danger No Entry signs at what I hoped was GZ and started to hunt in earnest. About 15 minutes into the fun, I dialed the CO and he confirmed I seemed to be in the right location. I kid you not, about 30 seconds later on another lap, I spotted the (visible and well-endowed) cache in a place circled several times already. It is indeed there and happy I was
On we rolled, let's see how many get done today...
TFTC Crew 153! A really neat series!

Another in my journey through the Mimosa series, which I am sure the CO will be very happy when I finish! What will you do with all that spare time spent NOT answering my calls. I promise to try harder....
Took me two goes and a hint from CO to get the first WP, to me roots are ground level so the hint didn't really help much.
Onto the second - a quick easy find now I knew the container I was looking for. A lovely piece of bush for the neighbouring kids to ride bikes through.
WP3 was quite an easy find, on my second visit! First visit I climbed when I really didn't need to but was happy to push my personal boundaries.
Finally the coords for the final were in hand it was a quick find - and in the stash was a HOT WHEELS puzzle! Perfect for W!
Loving this series Max - so much so I am going out again in the morning.....after deciding I really shouldn't tonight!

No luck today. Coords had me at the same spot as the last finder. looked on both sides of the creek without luck. Cursory look in the fig again without luck. I will be back.
The big and little chikins were out looking for some more Mimosa caches today. We searched high and low for WP1 and could not find it. Our trusty GPS had us on the edge of the creek in a very small palm tree which we couldn't find anything. The untrusty phone had us jumping 20 m here and there and mostly pointing into the middle of the creek. We searched both sides of the creek and could find nothing. We looked in nooks and crannies on the monster tree but missed seeing anything. Mr Chikin climbed up high in the big tree despite me telling him that Max wouldn't hide it up there. I tried to think like Max (which worked last time I was looking for a Mimosa) but it didn't work today. So sadly for today this is a DNF for us But never fear we will be back.
Found with DiamonJs. This puzzle/multi was epic. Took ages before Mrs THR found WP1 and then the challenge of finding a nice easy way across the creek. Attempted this one from a few angles without avail until we decided to make a walk for it. WP2 and WP3 was easily found by DiamonJs and then off to the final. We hacked our way into GZ through spider webs and searched, searched, searched, did a PAF and searched some more. A PAF to the CO gave a little more clues but turned up empty. Dr THR finally found it. TFTC Crew153
Wow what an experience and I am so happy I was in the company of Mr & Mrs THR today, I learnt so much today. Did a PAF nothing, then phone CO in the end, not that his details really helped but made us more determined and yes we were successful, yay!!!! TFTC
Had the co-ordinates for quite a while but hadn't had time to attempt the multi. A drizzly morning this morning gave me the opportunity with no muggles around. WP1 found easily enough. WP2 was more of a challenge but a bit of adventurous creek crossing soon had me on the right side, although wet from the long grass. WP3 proved more challenging than it looked, trying to get a proper footing on the rain slippery terrain. The final was found no problems. A fun and challenging cache. Tftc.
With the DNF on the last I was hoping to regain some sort of progress on this one, until I realised the 3 point Multi aspect . Having only just organised to be at lunch in 30 minutes, I just did not have the time to go looking once I realised the tree that I was at was only WP1.
Will get back to this soon.
Will get back to this soon.
I noticed that this was up and running again a while ago. I had some time on the way to work this afternoon, so I decided to finish the series. I found each of the WPs nice and quickly which was very nice. A bit of a stroll along the creek in the shade this afternoon was quite pleasant. Located the cache at GZ quite quickly too.
Thanks for another great series Crew 153

A sunny Saturday to be out and about looking for geocaches.
My mission today is the Mimosa series.
This one has to be the longest of all of the Mimosa series.
But it does travel along a great creek, showing you several parts.
Thanks for the cache.

EggInTheSky and I had decided to try to collect all of the Mimosa series in one evening and after schlepping through M1 we finally arrived at McGregor. We had a good start as Eggs found the first waypoint super quick.
Driving up to WP2 we see, it’s on the other side of the creek. So so close.
So another drive to a better spot to approach WP2 and we are on the way again. After all the rough terrain for the M1 it was very nice to be walking through well-kept parkland again. The moon was out (almost full) and the sky was clear. It was also just the right temperature for being out and about in, just enough coolth to keep you comfortable.
Eggs spotted the second waypoint pretty quick and we strolled up to WP3 where I spotted the finals and another walk and we get to the ‘Danger! Keep Out!’ signs…
It didn’t look that dangerous.
Looking again the signs, they looked more like guidelines than rules really.
It didn’t look like a construction site.
So a few milliseconds of rationalizing later we were past the signs and at the final.
I spotted the cache, but wondered if it was actually still accessible. Reaching in I managed to grab it and wriggle it out. Phew.
We collected coords and signed up and were on our way to Roly.

The cache is currently still accessible but the first WP has to be replaced. This is the only cache in the series that still requires maintenance so the series can all be completed without it.
After the last one I just sent a quick TAF off to the CO to see if this one was in place. The final will be, was the answer and the CO was kind enough to supply the digits. I parked nearby and crunched my way to GZ. A quick look around and spotted the container. Luckily there were no works here today otherwise this could have been much more difficult! Interesting to see no finds in this one for a few years!
Cheers again Crew153. Another one bites the dust

Tfth looked for this a while back. Fairly sure I know where it was supposed to be. I think it's gone walkies. Would love to continue this series, but want to do them in order. Sorry Crew, love your work and appreciate the many adventures you've put myself and the chicks on
