Hi there piggysue,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of issues are evident.
The cache has been [**temporarily disabled**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235), so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location, until the issues/s can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.
#What you need to do:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache** - once checked, place an Owner Maintenance log and then enable the cache.
- **Place A Write Note Log** - indicating a date when you expect it will be restored.
- **Adopt Out or Archive** - depending on whether you want it kept or for it to disappear.
Full details for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned.
It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,

Can confirm, absailed the landslide last night, no sign of cache. Contacted a local who done the clean up of the area, they confirmed a blue ice cream container was disposed of containing a logbook etc. They left it for 3 months but there was no change in the logbook so they threw it away. If Co could replace it I'd really like the smiley
Landslide in area, dangerous drop off at cache gz. Cache nowhere to be found. Highly recommend a co check at both waypoints. Provided waypoint the cache with the clue is still there however machinary Onsite clearing trees
You pwned us n00bs.
I think this one is worth a check.
We will return.
Look look look - you are only as good as your next find. We will return.

I have been Geocaching for the last year as part of team Dromaniax. We have enjoyed the Geocaching caching around a lot of Victoria in that time. From our first trip up to the Murray River, the next trip to Lake Eildon and the area around Buxton, an epic trip to the Little Desert to attack the This is SA series, then a great trip with our father to the High Country in Victoria, a trip to the Mornington Peninsula and a trip to the Albury-Hume Reservoir area.
I finally decided to set up my own account and am claiming all the caches I have found as part of Dromaniax.
Thank you for this Multicache piggysue

Sadly, a dnf from me today even though I really wanted to get it as it was placed just after I started geocaching and I remember a lot of the other caches from the Activity. Hopefully it's still there as gz has been fenced/taped off, presumably to keep people from wandering off the cliffs. I might try to get back there next week and have a more leisurely attempt although I'm not happy jumping fences at places like this.
Mr Dromaniax's and his muggle brother were off for a couple of days of camping and geocaching on the Mornington Peninsula.
After a great nights caching last night, getting back to camp around 1am, we decided to head off early and grab a few caches before muggle brother's appointment.
The ground on the Mornington is wet. Very wet. It seems that there has been sufficient rain this year that the ground is holding the maximum amount of water it can and when you have additional rain it either sits on the surface or starts moving down hill.
So we got a bit wet making our way to the posted coordinates and thanks to the hint we found the details. Both our GPSs had around 13m from the posted coordinates.
From there we made our way to GZ and the GPS would have done the Harlem Globetrotters proud with the amount it was bouncing around, so we read a few logs and let the geo-senses kick in and we soon had the cache in hand.
It was half full of water, but the log was only mildly damp due to a good ziplock.
Thank you for this Multicache piggysue and for maintaining for so long

Nice multi on our way home from lunch in Shoreham. Final GZ was quite soggy but beautiful views at both points. TFTC
Took forever at final gz, overcthought it using old logs. It's closer than you think. Don't be stumped. Dropped off Referee travel bug
We located the little film container and have the co ordinates for the final cache in hand. Access to GZ didn't involve any bush bashing and we found that we needed to stray a little from the exact position. The view from GZ in the fading light was spectacular looking out towards Phillip Island and Bass Strait. We will be back next weekend to hopefully find the final cache, can't wait. Tftc.
Find # 10899
Found with sharkiefan.
The task for today was to tackle the Jack Speak series and a few around the area.
Despite the morning drizzle we still managed to make the Jack Speak finds along the road. Even with a DNF we still managed to work out the final.
Then when the rain passed and the sun was out we done more exploring and finding quite a few "Welcome to..." cache at each town we passed coming back up.
Throwen in was a couple other puzzles we had solved.
A fun day had over on the Mornington Peninsula with a total of 45 smileys for the trip.
Great little multi, hint proved good for wp1 and at GZ we had to spread out the search. But in the end we found that we didnt have to bush bash for this find. Also great views at both points here too.

Jack Speak Day.
We had planned this trip a while ago and had the puzzles solved even longer ago.
Depsite the wet weather and gloomy looking day, we decided to head out and have a crack, prepared to give it up if it became too miserable.
Pleasantly we ended up with some beautiful if not windy weather and had a great time out this end of the state.
FYI for future finders, there is no need to bush bash.
A great place to end up. Tftc

It took a few minutes to work out which was the appropriate clue for the film canister as this proved to be a number of metres from where our GPSr indicated GZ to be. There also seemed to have been recent work to clear trees. Anyway we eventually spotted the canister and we were soon off to the final coordinates. At this GZ we searched what seemed to be a likely spot without luck but then checked a couple of other spots and discovered the container. Thanks to piggysue for the cache.
Navigation kept throwing us around but after a quick search we did find... TFTF... of to the next.
Followed the hint for WP1 but the most obvious location was empty. Couldn’t see anything else to investigate so will have to leave this one for today.
Great (and windy) spot for a picnic!

Ahh how a little bit of local knowledge can be so helpful. Parked in the right spot for an easy walk to site one late one afternoon. Small search but quite easy.
Called back a few days later on the way home and followed the road to GZ. Looked in the same spots as previous finders until that light bulb moment and there it was.
Once again this great game has led me to another fantastic location that I had never seen, even though I live on the peninsula. TFTC

Distracted by other ‘trails’ but quick enough find. Hate to have disturbed owners of the toys Fab day out to new destinations and lovely walk. A sunny day saw a spontaneous new plan to head down on a multi mission that includes working towards 400 caches on the Peninsula - quite a challenge when you live in the mountains TFTC and the FUN
Out with Sorceysal for a few caches down on the Mornington Peninsula.
This one was an easy puzzle to solve before a scramble up the bank because we came at it from the wrong angle. (The Beach)
Once at GZ, I too came across what at first looked like adult toys, but soon discovered it was used for a more chilled out experience.
We looked at the right GZ, but at the wrong angle, and spent another 20min searching the wrong areas before returning and spotting the cache from a different side, in the best spot possible for a cache. Doh!!!!!
Thanks piggysue for this one

A day out and about with Bogonghazy on the Mornington Peninsula.
Definitely not a 1.5 terrain as the first WP is up quite a steep hill. Maybe a 2.5 would be more suitable. Took the difficult route to WP2 and then noticed a road nearby. Took some searching to find the cache but eventually log signed.

Loved this cache! Found the first one easily. The second one was a little harder to find. Great spots I would never have known about as on hols for long weekend! TFTC
After visiting a friend nearby I decided to grab some caches including the jack speak trail which I had solved long ago.
An interesting one. Found the canister eventually using the hint as coords were a little off. Set off along the beach only to realize I had missed an obvious track up the hill so set off clambering up to find it. At the lookout I was convinced it too was the stump. I looked in the other obvious spot but as I was looking for an ice cream container cache blindness made for a limited look. Further exploring in the bushes uncovered what at first looked like an adult device but soon realized it was an alternative type of adult paraphernalia which matched the empty alcohol bottles and other rubbish. Disappointing. I reset my geosenses and found the cache straight away where I should have looked earlier. Think smaller than ice cream!
Thanks piggysue for the cache.

Took our family isolation exercise at Shoreham beach today (we live just up the road). Been meaning to grab the Shoreham multi caches for a while, so adventured with geo kid and geo grandad to grab this and the other. Completed this cache and grabbed the coordinates for the other nearby. TFTC!
Parked the car and headed up to the top of the hill and took in the view. It'd been ages since I'd been to Shoreham. Some distant relatives still have a holiday house there I believe that I stayed in a few times. Quite a bit of trouble finding the canister, it was my buddy who eventually made the discovery and I was intrigued as I'd just placed a multi myself that included a film canister at the start. Put the final location into the app and we were now required to return to the beach.
We didn't get very far with the sand stream proving rather challenging to get across. There was a light rain by now, enough to want to retreat to cover. A group of young hikers/campers approaching from the opposite side also needing to cross, so we decided to turn back and see if we could get to GZ another way, which was a good idea in the end.
Parking at the end of a quiet street very close to GZ, we headed down the track we were obviously supposed to come up from the beach. Turned back, tried the other track and saw the lookout straight away. Wow! Unfortunately so much cloud and fog obscured the view. Convinced the cache was in the trunk nearby, that wasn't the case and I checked the more likely of places and was then signing the log.
A very enjoyable multi. Thanks for bringing me to these spots. A favourite point from me.

Given the draw of a CITO/event combo nearby it would be been churlish not to take a short drive and find this golden oldie.
N0w0rries supplied the coords and I made the find.
Beautiful spot.

Following our events down the beach today , +Wife and I headed here with leafotwind.
A short walk brought us to an obvious location and the cache was soon in lotw's hands.
Great views of The Nobbies from here. Nice and clear today.

#3967 After locating the first waypoint we leaped over the waterway and managed to keep our feet dry! We enjoyed the beach so much we completely overshot gz and we had to backtrack a good distance! We eventually returned to where we could gain elevation to enjoy Nobbies View. The well hidden cache was spotted by a more nimble Mrs BGF. With the sun setting it was time for us to scoot on back down to the geocar. Really enjoyed the walk, TFTC piggysue.

*Cache find # 10566.*
While still on holidays I decided to make the most of it and head down to the peninsula to find a few caches.
The 3rd multi for this morning and this one was fairly straightforward, no problems at the waypoint or GZ, log was signed and I was on my way.
I was good to be able to find another old one.
**Thanks to piggysue for placing this cache.**

We made our way over the long grass to admire the view of the Nobbies from this vantage spot and found the information just as the hint suggested. Once we had our new set of coordinates we made our way via car to not only find a hidden gem but one that afforded even better views of the Nobbies.
Thanks piggiesue for a multi with a view.

We were a little bit dubious here, and kept checking the terrain level as we eyed the big hill going down! Lucky we didn’t need to take it at this stage! WP1 Coords were soon found and returned, and we decided to head to WP2 by car. We parked nice and close, admired the view and found the cache. Thanks so much for placing this cache piggysue
The cache was in a sad state when we arrived.
The cache was full of water and the last catchers neglected to replace the log in the plastic bag.
A shame because the interior of the snap lock bag was dry.
We emptied and dried the box and contents.
We did our best to separate the log pages to air dry in the sun. We removed the drenched backing and the soggy excess pages... leaving about 5 clean drier sheets as well as the 2 logged pages.
By the end of having a snack and walking to and fro from the car, the log was in a better state.
We replaced everything and ensured that the clips were dirt free.
The view from here is outstanding and you would never know that this lookout is here!
TFTC and grand views of Phillip Island.

Out for an early.morning cache hunt. Who knows where I will go or end. Tftc... 14... looked for some time at gz but no joy
Found with TaylorHunters09. A walk, drive, walk and the chance to admire the gorgeous view. Final cache had a cm of water so everything inside wet except the log! Thanks for bringing us here.
Out with LouJean1970 and my GeoKids today. At first we came at this the wrong way, then once we corrected ourself we found the first WP. A short drive to the second and we quickly had a Find. Unfortunately the contents is saturated. I tipped out as much water as I could but all swaps are drenched.
Wouldn’t hurt for owner to possibly replace container with a better seal.
Thanks for the Cache, the views where well worth it

This was an awesome little caching adventure! I had been sick the past weeks and so was keen for a bit of exercise and this one delivered. Left the muggle in the car and off I went searching and enjoying the scenery. Did end up with soggy feet LOL When the prize was located headed back to the car satisfied. Many thanks for the cache Took the Travelbug!

An early morning caching run down the peninsula to check for a couple of multi caches. This was my first stop at 7am just as the sun was coming up. I don't mind the odd early morning caching escapade but must admit (at 1 degree Celsius on the car temperature) it felt bitterly cold here this morning. I dug my hands into my pockets and briskly headed towards WP1. The information was retrieved here without too much difficulty and given the weather I jumped back in the car and took the lazy way to get to GZ. It felt slightly warmer there and I was quickly able to make the find. Took nothing, left a TB, signed log and visited some other trackables. Thanks for a great multi cache piggysue. Some spectacular views though I couldn't stick around too long to admire them!

A previous DNF about a year ago. Had everything from WP1 and worked out GZ. Today with no muggles and coords plugged in we had a very quick find indeed. What a difference another day makes. Log signed and back safe again. Now off the watch list.

So close but rain came in and got too soggy too pursue at wp 2. Saw some awesome toadstools around first point!
Wow! We were having a quick stop off to look at the beach, and weren't even planning to get out of the car, but then I realised a cache was close and said 'Hold on, we just need to find a quick geocache'. As always, things didn't go exactly to plan, so it wasn't exactly 'quick'. We all walked over to try to find waypoint 1, but couldn't figure out how to get closer than 20 meters from it! We'd given up and were heading back to the car when we worked out how to get to GZ. My mum and our homestay student were amazed when I found it! They thought it was really hard to spot, even when I showed them where it was, and Japanese homestay Naomi (who first went geocaching yesterday) thought it was tiny, because the one we found yesterday was big (I'll have to take her to find a nano sometime soon!). When mum found out the cache wasn't super close, she decided to wait in the car, so Naomi and I headed off, thinking we'd only be gone about 2 minutes. Then I stepped in some seaweed, and had to stop to empty it out of my shoe. We saw some lovely ducks. It felt like we were walking forever, though of course it wasn't really very long (the walk back was at least 3 times quicker, I'm sure). The view was amazing. Naomi got very excited thinking she'd found the cache, but it was just a bottle cap. Then I found it right near her feet, and retrieved it as she was saying 'I still can't see it!'
We went headed back, admiring the blackberries we'd found growing. When we got back to the car, mum said she thought we'd disappeared, though she did get to see a hang glider land right near her while she waited.
The paper in the film canister listing the coordinates was damp, though still easily readable. The inside of the actual cache was wet as well, though the log was dry in its little bag.

Today I had the day off so I decided to go and have a big day of caching around the Flinders to Balnarring area, with the goal of clearing this area out. With me have to attend a Welcome back party for one of my friends who was studying abroad for a semester. Anyways sadly my day was cut short as I had to drive around and do some surprise errand in the afternoon. Anyway this cache was quickly found with little to no hassle. I would like to thank you for the cache and the adventure.

found it. It took two attempts here and glad I came back. What a amazing view at wp2. Tftc
Was keen to get a multi today and we decided to get this one. A nice sunny day and we were soon onto WP1. With our new cords we were off to GZ along the beach. That is where the good times ended. We gave it a good shot and thought we did a thorough search but no luck. We keep a eye on this one.
This is a pretty nifty multi, I think. Waypoint 1 was quite well done and the location is obviously rather striking. I opted for not getting wet, and using other means of reaching GZ. The cache was uncovered after a fairly brief search in another striking location. Thanks piggysue!
Took us awhile to locate the final cache. A second look by husband got us a find. Beautiful area. Enjoyed the walk and getting our feet wet! TFTC
Was at WP1 for some time before reading the hint. Went to GZ and located cache quickly. Noted that cache was no longer an ice cream container, but is still full of swaps. View is great. TFTC piggysue.

Found part one with a minimum of difficulty, but after quite a walk uphill and along the beach arrived at a great platform overlooking the coast. Frustratingly unable to locate the cache. Still, nice area and needed the exercise. Tftc
My daughter and I had fun (in a good way!) finding this. This was the first time we've had a try at this. Thanks.
Today we explored the Mornington Peninsular using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. Enjoyed the walk to GZ and a great view.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

I was a tad bit bored this afternoon and decided to go for a drive. And what do ya know, there was a cache near by!! First cache located quickly then a quick stroll to the final..My feet did get a tad but wet. TFTC!!
Out with frmen1 for the day. Our gps units x2 had us spinning around a bit at WP1. frmen1 finally found the hiding spot and excitedly went in for the grab when I saw him leap into the air and heard him yelp. Apparently, there was a Huntsman guarding the clue. Now, as in fishing, if I don't see the actual animal, I don't believe that it actually existed. So I retrieved it. We made a dash for GZ, only to realise that the means that we were using to get there wasn't going to work. Back to the car where the antivenom was (aka coffee lol) and ended up with a fairly quick find. Thanks for taking us there. TNLN TFTC
Thanks piggy sue for bringing me to this beautiful lookout as I needed a cache between appointments today. TFTC SL
The daily cache trip, morning today, cool temperatures.
A bit of rain and thunder, but escaped most of it.
Good tour of the scenic track here, only few muggles around. The creek did non smell of roses today.
Thanks for the cache

My geomum and I found the clue at WP1 while my geodad was parking the car.
However, we couldn't find the cache until geodad came and found it in a place that we had looked previously.
Thanks for the cache and bringing us to this place.

Having a day off work to cross a few more local caches off the to do list. Really enjoyed this scenic hide.
Thank you very much for placing a cache here.

We were completing the Jack Speak trail and decided to search for a local multi cache for a change. Our detour was rewarded with magnificent views from both spots! Thank you for bringing us here. Hopefully, one day we will even get to see The Nobbies from the island!
We feel that the terrain rating is a little low compared to what it takes to visit the sites and see the sights. Maybe Terrain 2?
Anyway, had a great time finding this one. TFTC

A magic day today spent on the road with MuggleWife chasing a few caches.
Time for a quick multi for the August challenge and it turned out to be a quite enjoyable one.

A nice morning with team purple trackies. First point didnt take to long, the acctual Cache was a bit trickier. Searched, looked, read all comments, kept searching. Basically gave up, then found it.... was a really nice cache to go through! Thanks! Cache number 5 for me!
We found GZ but couldn't find the container. We think it may be down the cliff a little way as we thought we could see a container down further.
With the wet weather Pea bear and I decided to do a couple of close to home caches. With WP1 quickly found we were off to GZ. Took the easy option and before long we were searching for the cache. With the GPS not too sure where it wanted us to be, we looked in the most obvious place......... and there it was. Great to get such an old cache and also quite unloved - nearly a year since last found. Awesome views. Thanks piggysue for the cache and bringing us to this beautiful place.
Out with BorisB&Natasha and even though it was raining most of the day we couldn't resist the urge to pick up a couple of caches along the way.
Found WP1 after a short search and decided to take the easy way to GZ. GPS had a bit of trouble settling but the cache was soon found in the obvious spot.
Thanks piggiesue for the cache and the great views.

A quick find while down this neck of the woods on an epic weekend caching in the area.
Thanks for the cache, nice little multi.

The kids and I had not alot to do this mother's day weekend so I decided we would spend the night in Hastings and do some caching in the area. The kids were so excited they eached packed a full suitcase each for just one night away, but at least I knew we had plenty of spare clothes just in case we had to walk through water, got muddy, dusty (not with all that rain) or even sandy. It was a great weekend away with the kids and we had a lot of fun. We collected a few caches and built some sand castles here and there. Thanks for this cache.
Found @1758 #1073
Took awhile to find the micro at WP1 but in hindsight the clue would of made the find quick and easy if used. A 10min walk later and we were at GZ and today the cache was found to be about 5m out. The cache is in good condition and contents is dry. Took a while to find it, but in the end was in an obvious spot, which I did not check well enough initially.
The terrain rating should be a little higher, say 2.5 from 1.5. Otherwise a nice fun multi on a rather windy day. Some nice views too.

Find # 1320
Well, an early start to the day for me and my caching partner in crime sedgwickdave. I was to pick up Dave at 7.30AM and we would then head towards the Mornington Peninsula with the principal aim of finding the Jack Speak series of Puzzle caches by walenators. We also hoped to pick up some extras on the way.
We were now on our way home via a few stops, It took us around 15 minutes to find the container at WP1 with the GZ co-ords. we then made our way down the hill and onto the beach, then back up towards GZ. Again, a 15 minute search and we finally had the cache in hand.
I think this cache is worth more then a 1.5D/1.5T due to the time taken searching and the hills climbed getting to GZ. The cache is no longer an Ice Cream container, but a 1 Litre Systema Container
A fantastic view at GZ, well worth the walk.
Thanks to piggysue for the cache, TNLN.

*** Maintenance required urgently ***
Water is sitting in the container - emptied out. However the clue sheet is WET. Dried out container BUT will not last for long.

Finally found in an obvious place after an extensive search and nearly giving up! Muggles asking us if we were ok needed reassurance to leave! Tftc, a great spot at gz.
Found WP1 easily enough but on opening the container, the paper was soaked through and came out in bits. I had to take a seat on a nearby log and try and unfold it and piece the bits together. After a few minutes of careful peeling etc, I had got what looked like a usable set of coords and when I popped them into my GPSr they did indeed point to a likely location. I had no dry paper with me so I returned the soggy sheet to the cache and headed off to the final GZ. On arrival, a quick and easy find was made.
As there were a lot of blank pages in the log I removed one and jotted down the coords, returned to WP1 and replaced the original sheet so hopefully it will be legible for future finders.

Finally found this one at our 3rd attempt (one called off due to rain).
It's definitely there, in the logical spot. Not one to be done at night.
Why isn't there a chair at GZ???

This one is still there and is in good order. Going on memory the co-ords were out by about 10m and since the first waypoint is unreadable I’ve posted the co-ords of final GZ above. Next time I’m in the area I try and replace the note in first waypoint. This a great spot for a cache so get out a find it
Cheers

Found the film canister but had to use a stick to retreive it. We opened it up but inside it was very wet. We carefully unfolded it but the coordinates we very hard to read and some of the numbers you couldn't read at all.
Found the first part easily enough, but the paper was waterlogged and very hard to read without damaging the clue.
Found the general location of the cache, beautiful spot thanks, but didn't manage to find the final cache itself.

DNF for me today.
I m noticed there were lots natural logs were damages.
maybe better move to somewhere to keep nature without damage.

Found the first clue easily. The second was much harder. Looked and looked with lots of helpers but didn't find the cache. Will try again next time we're in the neighbourhood.
Found this cache after missing it on my first attempt some time ago (read approx 18mths ago). Great views. Must try the fishing around here too. TNLNSL. Thanks !
