Time to give this one the flick. Happy memories though.

I pass by here nearly everyday..so I will check it out!

Struggled with this one - considering the previous two no-finds, I suspect the cache has been muggled or buried. Could Danger Ducks please confirm that the cache is still in place. Thanks, it is a terrific neighborhood park. Way-finder

19-Apr-08
Searched for a while with no result and then became concerned that we might be trampling the area, so we phoned a friend who gave us some input but we still couldn't find it.

05-Apr-08
Too clever for me. I looked in what I thought were the likely places but came up empty Sad. Adding a hint for a gumby like me might make this a better experience.

28-Jan-08
A lovely little secure park so while a way a couple of hours with the kids. Thanx Danger Ducks.

18-Jan-08
What a fantastic little "private" park nestled among the houses! Thanks for bringing us here Danger Ducks. Found cache without any hassles (GeoSon actually discovered this one). No muggles about this morning (except for nosy neighbour peeking through his back door of the house to the west - I hope he didn't think we were up to no good!!)Red Face

Found it easily the second time around. A busy little park. TFTC TNLN.

06-Oct-07
Had a short look in a couple of spots, but there were too many muggles around and we couldn't do it justice.

You nearly had us on this one ... then we saw the obvious sign.

The bag was wet on the inside, but the log was dry. Put the film canister in a new ziplock bag. There is room for about 4 more entries in the log.

Found - when there were no muggles about. The log feels dampish, but I wrote on it in biro ok. TN-LN (of course)- SL. Thanks to Danger Ducks for a great little micro.

21-Feb-07
I was interested to know what a micro coin might look like. The generic geocoin didnt disappoint...it was the most plain looking thing Ive seen...living up to its name!

***By the way I took the micro geocoin but didnt write down the number! Will try and correct this soon!***

18-Feb-07
Nicely tucked away possy for this cache. However it was quite wet inside. Dried container and replaced broken pencil and mostly dried out log sheet.
Also left a MICRO GC - is this the first one for this cache?
Thanks Danger Ducks.

3rd time lucky and I hate the smell of Lavender Thanks

28-Oct-06
Lovely Spot, and lovely hide - on the point of turning back ..."How can a cache be hidden here?".

And there it was - funny what turns up

Good one

10-Sep-06
Little muggles everywhere crying screeching everywhere We had no geokids to blendSad

06-Aug-06
Having assisted DD with the hiding of this cache I knew what to look for..so on my maintenance visits today I called in to check - given the spate of DNFs.

The cache is still there. Its a tricky hide - so expect the unexpected and return it as you found it.

As Bear-Left hinted..the lavender is a good place to start.

30-Jul-06
A bit of a spur of the moment cache, as we were passing and saw it on the GPSr radar.
With only the last 5 logs, we assumed that it had been moved recently and only been looked for once since, unsuccessfully. GZ settled down to an unlikely patch of lavender and we really didn't know what we were looking for.

You know how it is when you're not convinced there's actually a cache to be found? It takes away the incentive to search so intensively, so we had a bit of a scratch around before resuming our original course.

12-Jul-06
Had 3 people searching a conveniently vacant cache site with no joy. The GPS was acting erratic, but I'm still pretty sure we were in the right area. Perhaps muggles have turned this back into lemon (or maybe we are just blind!) We did find an empty coin bag nearby left by the Bibra Boys - the bonus cache??

27-May-06
Time for a facelift! Introducing our new page! Cool

20-Apr-06
I could not find this one last time with the first set of co-ords but this time no worrys.
Thanks

17-Apr-06
A nice and quick find after the GPSr settled down this time. It was a great idea to hide the film canister in the object. That was good one. Thanks for the hunt.

16-Apr-06
Playground was a bit of a distraction for the kids but eagle eyes wife found it very quickly. It took longer to get the kids out of the playground.

Fourth of six finds for my fourth night in Perth, in company with fellow Victorian cacher, Team_Diesel. We'd had trouble at two of the previous caches tonight (including one DNF), and this one continued the trend. We checked out all sorts of places, without success. I thrust my hand into places that I shouldn't have without looking first, but could not find a micro cache in any of them. Having exhausted the 'obvious' places, we started checking those "it wouldn't be there!" places. TD found the cleverly hidden cache at 2130. Thanks to Danger Ducks for the cache.

06-Apr-06
Found in the company of dak during a night of caching in Perth.

We searched many places in the area and kept coming up empty handed.

Then I found it in the last place I looked.

This is my second find tonight. Things are looking up.

Just re-logging the caches I have done under a different team name (3BlindEyes).

Nice little suburban park. Not many around that are completely fenced like this one. I must have had the old co-ordinates in my GPS as I looked in the wrong spot. Had a print-out in the car luckily, so input the new co-ordinates. Meanwhile, Sharon of 2camels had her first go with Bills GPSr and walked to a spot and said "this is GZ here", so I looked and found the cache! Amazing! Sharon did a good job on her first find. Good hide for the cache. Was surprised to find co-ordinates inside for a bonus cache close by! Started looking for it but Bill quickly found it about 5m South of the cache which isn't where it was supposed to be at all. Found a scratchy inside which was the last one. This sounds very familiar...we also got the last scratchy from a BibraBoys cache recently called shame cachers shame. This one was a $2 winner though! Big Grin
Put the bonus cache back where we found it but Danger Ducks might want to put it back where it is supposed to be? And maybe add more scatchies? Big Grin
Signed log then rehid cache as it was. Thanks for the scratchy and a nice little hunt Danger Ducks.

Nice little park for afternoon hunt in company with Mal and Ursula of 3BlindEyes Sharon (Mrs Camel) Showed us how to do it finding GZ and directed Mal to Cache.I found second cache Mal claimed scratchie. Thanks Danger Ducks

Cache has been rehidden with new container. All previous visitors have had their name/log summarised on the first page. Thanks to all that have visited. Lets hope this one hangs around for a while!

Popped in for a maintenance check and it appears to have been muggled yet again. Will replace as soon as we can get back here sometime during the week.

Stumped us for a bit, but I located this one easily after a quick revision of the description n logs.

Nifty little place!

This one took a bit of contemplating.. and then reading of past logs before finding pretty quickly:).

Nice little spot
Thanks for the cache!

18-Dec-05
Found this one fairly easily considering the previous logs. The gardens were clear of rubbish so someone must have cleaned up ... but the bin near the gate was over flowing and a little on the nose. Nice little park in suburbia.
Took nuffin' but memories/photo's
Left a scrawl
Thanx for the hunt Danger Ducks

15-Dec-05
Given the spat of finds and did not finds, decided to go and check location. Danger Ducks had asked me to do this some time ago as she couldnt find it herself (after I replaced it and hid it then I couldnt find the last time I went).

Its there but well hidden.

This cache does require some movement of the leaf litter to find. However to make it easy it - a hint - it is hard up against something so it does not require random digging in the garden bed.

It must stay hidden how you found it as there is no other way to hide it without it being seen from above. Given the type of visitors to this spot, there is no doubt you would see this cache disappear for the second time faster than you could say "hot potato hot potato, potato, potato, potato, potato". or "cold spaghetti, cold spaghetti....."

15-Dec-05
Spent over an hour looking under shrubs and plants. Even combed through all of the bark adjacent the playground. Sure found a lot of trash though. With all the recycle bins about Freo, thought you Ozies would be not so thoughtless.

15-Dec-05
no luck this time Sad

13-Dec-05
Got a bit of a hint and located it. The log book feels a bit damp nothing major yet.

Came back for our 2nd look, damn muggles were occupying the park again...oh well I guess thats what it is there for. haha

Returned at the end of the day about 6.15pm no muggles and no cache...looked around in the flower beds under the obvious spots to us but nothing...arghh!! We hate it when we get beaten..we will be back!!

Thanks

08-Nov-05
On the way past this afternoon I checked and found that the micro is still in place.

04-Nov-05
Last night we went and couldn't find it anywhere as per description. Again went down there tonight with Everlasting and conifrmed it was missed. May it be worthwhile to check it? Thanks for the challenge.

31-Oct-05
Can't believe we missed this the first time we looked!! Was so simple the second time around!
Thanks Danger Ducks for testing us out!!

28-Oct-05
Spent about 10 minutes inspecting the area before a bunch of muggles turned up. Without the appropriate 5-year-old camo I was muggled off. Is it still there? No idea.

27-Oct-05
What a great place this is. Its always a bonus when 4 year old Amy can play on playground while i'm looking for the cache. Thanks.

22-Oct-05
Stopped off for a BBQ luch with the Crew, a beautiful little park hidden away.

Searched high and low all over the park, to no avail.

Will have to try again if someone else manages to find it!

Thanks for showing us a great little lunch spot!

19-Oct-05
Looked up the coords on GE and thats where I concentrated my search today, found pretty well where GE pinpointed it and a spot I had briefly searched the other day although 8m away from where my GPSr wanted me to search. SL

15-Oct-05
We pulled up in the carpark...it was our last for the day at around 4.45pm didnt think there would be anyone there but sure enough a muggle family were having a picnic in the gazebo...so we'll have to come back another day. Lovely little park though.

Thanks

Found the micro at 6.15pm, I came at 4pm and there have muggles so return at 6pm no one there phew! And easy find - no problems. Sign log. Thanks for the hunt.

[^] Cache has been restored albeit in a slightly different location - not far from it's original "hidey hole".

A new log has been started and those who had found the cache to date acknowledged on the front page - even Everlasting who I am sure would have found it if it were not for the missing micro.

Happy hunting!

30-Sep-05
Due to loss of cache this site is temporarily out of action until we can hide a replacement. Dare say it will not be in the original spot but nearby and possibly shouldn't require new co-ords to be posted. Sad

29-Sep-05
Its been muggled...grrrr

Not sure if we will replace or not as yet.

Cheers

I couldn't find the micro. But will come back another time.

22-Sep-05
Arrived at this small but pleasant little park hoping to have it all to myself.
No such luck. Several generations of ladies and their children were making use of the facilities. Not having had lunch or anything substantial to eat the smell of their barbecue almost drove me crazy.

Was sitting down and letting the GPSr settle when I looked around and something caught my eye. Could it be? Despite the muggles in evidence I managed to go for it and grab the cache. Interesting hiding spot. Knowing little children and their enquiring minds and probing fingers I wonder how long before ....

(catch up log)

Once GPS settled down found cache right next to us without too much looking. It took a bit to get it to stay in place however when putting it back. Joint *FTF*

Very good hide Danger Ducks. Thanks for the hunt.
