First find early on Anzac Day with no muggles around making it nice and easy. Great river for canoing - people out there already, despite the cool temperatures.
Left Chocks Away Biggles TB. Outside Lap TB had his last glimpse of Tas before heading West again.
Thanks for the hunt, robtas

Dropped by on the way home from a very enjoyable Autumn Festival. Given the volumes of muggles gathered on the other side of the river, I was a bit worried that there might have been a few too many near the cache as well, but it wasn't a problem.

I used to work not too far from here, and never knew this piece of the local history. Gotta love caching!

Last of thirteen finds on my last day in Hobart. I had finished my Hobart list, and I knew that there were three caches out here in New Norfolk, so I took the plunge and headed out here. This was the only one I managed to log. Sad I DNFed one of the others, and the third one was not accessible after 1630. It was dark by the time I got here, thanks to the end of daylight saving. I found the cache at 2005 in about the fifth place I looked. My mum used to have a set of those containers! Big Grin Thanks to robtas for the cache. Cheers, dak.

IN: Frog
OUT: Owl

LEFT: USA TB.
Took: TB and Micro mini coin (joined together)
TB "The Bald and the Beautiful"
Thanks robtas for the cache.

Nice cat. The way cats should be *ducks for cover whilst slipping into flame proof suit*

18-Mar-06
What a great idea! Leave a dead animal near the cache to keep muggles at bay. It's so obvious in hindsight. Note to self.... remember when placing next cache, there's alot of road-kill about and it's FREE! Took frog, left ibis. We also replaced the inkless pen with a feathered inked one.

17-Feb-06
Found on my way up the valley. This cache made me have one line of a song stuck in my head for the entire trip. 'Dead Cat, Three Times' over and over again for an hour.
Thanks Robtas, TN, Left dinosaur and TB

I have a customer who meets me in the carpark just near this one. Heap of muggles sitting 10 metres away who were there for some time so I could do nothing about the cat. Sorry about that but what else to do. It wasnt there when I placed it so its for the stout of nose at the moment.

27-Dec-05
Found by Sirius while Quilter was in the near by building spending money to distract the muggle - well that's the excuse I used. Took Jeep TB. SL. Dead cat still there, but no opportunity to remove. Cheers Quilter

Had a lovely stop and run around (puppy loved it too) - a lovely park by the river and interesting history. Was amazed that that bridge was so old, then realised it wasn't.
Took nothing, left lollipop matchbook magnet.
Thanks for this one robtas.

20-Nov-05
The cat is still there and I found it a bit distressing to have its distorted, sunken features looking at me while doing this cache. Took terradactel (which I think I left on the dirt near the cache) and left car. SL.

12-Nov-05
Fortunately the cat has gone and there were no muggles. Nice place for a little rest on the way to the west coast.
Took: Shipstamper
Left: 1 luxemburgish Eurocoin

Another one on a rainy day - however it was fantastic to get out of the house and get my paws moving! Loved this area, which I've been near but never visited many a time, so I had a good gallop around!!

I wish I'd realised there would be such a high quality swap - dried cat! - however as I didn't have a suitable item to be able to trade up, TNLN. Thank you, robtas!!

20-Oct-05
Setting off on our trip to Strahan and this one was too close to pass up. I wonder why I chose this spot for the two vehicles to meet up Smile
Took Plastic paper clips
Left boat hole punch
Thanks Robtas

16-Oct-05
We stopped on the way home from Adamsfield caching. The dead feral animal was still there, but no longer smelling! Took yellow koosh ball and left yellow frog. Thanks Robtas.

We was pretty worn out after the Mini Golf & our earlier finds, & needed 1 more cache to make 299, so grabbed this quickly before heading North from our Mega southern weekend..

We just followed our noses to the cache for this (literally), there was a dead fly blown carcass guarding GZ, I'd advise those who haven't found it yet to wait a few days to attempt this one, let the Devils clean up the scraps first.

Apart from that, nice area.

T- Kooosh ball
L- Yoyo & bouncy ball.

thanks RT.

OK, that'll do us for the weekend, got a good one planned for our 300th Wink

02-Oct-05
Energiser advised there is a smelly carcas near the cache. It certainly was not there when I placed the cache. The local wildlife will no doubt clear it up soon.

27-Sep-05
Found easily while taking advantage of a warm, sunny spring day to do a caching sweep of the lower midlands! Only muggles here today were busy working on the tollhouse.
Took roller stamp left mini shifter and cat toy.
Thanks Robtas.

25-Sep-05
Found this cache in my previous incarnation as a Cheesy Pig.

25-Sep-05
Hoory, our second FTF of the day. A nice placement that unfortuntely is in a heavy muggle area requiring Mrs CP to hide whilst the males of the troop ran interference. Took 3D pen, left two party poppers
