[went to location today with google maps in hand, was unable to find the cache (with 2 other people) in a large circle around the position. we spent a good 15 minutes there.
i ask sui_001 to go back to the location and check that it is still there.
i even looked at the hint, so i made sure i checked ]under the many tufts of grass close to the path

no luck locating. but i didn't have enough time to search throughly and there was a large amount of muggle activity around.
COuld not find this even after a long careful search. The tuff of grass I was near for GZ were looking very sick. Will try again but I really do hate looking through Sword Grass!!

My first find outside the USA!! Picked up Toasty to bring him/her closer to Ohio. Dropped off Shrek (just barely fit in that little box)!! TFTC
Found at 1130am soon after Sherk TB had been left. Took him and left Unite Diabetes Lawrence USA TB
I made a quick detour to grab this cache as I habe driven past it many times in the past. It was found easily and logged as the workers began clocking off for the day.

My wife & I are American Expats working in Australia for the next few years. Having Geocached back home, it has been a fun way to learn the area.
We left the Toasty Travel bug at this cache. We brought it with us when we moved from the states. It would not fit inside so we left it neatly hidden beside the cache. It is in a zip lock bag and should be safe from the elements if picked up soon.

Found it without too much difficulty. Good for a dash and cache. I took a frog and left a geocoin and travel bug. The geocoin was picked up in USA and the travel bug took a ride in my backpack from Singapore to here. Both had travel to Australia in its mission. TFTC. I enjoyed my visit.
Can't say I did any shopping, but I did drop in for the quick cache. Not an area I frequent very often, so I took the opertunity as we were going past today.
A nice little park on the corner.
Thanks, Robmc.

Found today by the wife after a quick search. She pretended she was a little girl and quickly decided where she would have hidden it

6.45am plant to catch meant a 4.15am start required to have a chance of grabbing a few Mexican caches before going home after 16 luxurious hours in Melbourne. A torch would have been handy but the clue helped a quick find. TNLNSL. Cache nice and dry too, although I've gotta say it doesn't look like it's rained in 100 years around here when you fly in.Thanks for the hunt. Managed one more quickie before heading off to the airport.
A quick find after lunching with friends who live nearby. No muggles in the part today which made it easy.
Nice little cache in a pleasant park in a busy area. No one around so a quick find was made. thanks sui
12:07pm - After dropping off the girls at the other "Glen" I headed of for my afternoon caching adventure. This was he first for the day. Didn't take long and we had it. Cache was wet, dried it out best I could. TNLNSL. Cheers and thanks for the hide.
An easy find this morning @ 0720 hrs. We got in just before The Glen started waking up.

I had passed by here earlier in the day on my way south as the temperature was climbing through the mid 30s and decided to give it a miss. I think I made the right decision. Trying for it on the way home in far nicer conditions, it took me 10-15 minutes to find the cleverly concealed stash at 18:15 , even with the decrypted hint .
TNLNSL. Thanks Sui_001.

Quite a few possible hiding places and I think we checked them all before making the find. TNLN. Thanks
Down here with work for the week and this cache was only just over a 1Km walk from my place of stay so how could i not go looking for it, had the cache in no time,

Thwarted!!!
Nearly caused a major prang when we parked in the clearway zone on a Sat!!! Is my belief correct that the sign says it is a clearway there only between certain times on a WEEKDAY? Or were they all just blowing their horns cos we had SA plates? Spent about 5 mins searching all the grass, but had to give up with the raucous being caused being too much for MrsH in the car to have to put up with! Funny people they are, the ones who can't see ahead and see a car parked on side of road with hazards flashing even!! We'll be back, and will walk from the shopping centre of the same name!

Well, this is really my old stomping ground although one would not recognise the Glen now! Cache found easily enough and the log is still dry in the bag. Took basketball, left hilighter, and let the little beetle go! Thanks Sui_001.
replaced logbook and check condition. will need to replace container, but if the logbook is kept in the bag it will remain dry.

First Australian cache find, over from NZ , and taking nephew out for the day. Crappy weather, but it's melbourne, what can you expect?
Within walking distance of where I was staying, so nice start to the trip.
- Plastic frog

thought I was going to have to give up on this one. Looked in the very obvious places as the area around had been churned through quite a bit. Interupted by muggles a couple of times as I searched. Decided I would have one last look before I left, and spotted it.

Nice Park. Great hidding spot. Found at 16:25. Log Book is full, now using the back of pages. T: Water Pistol Ball L: Red Frog + Next! Laminated Stamp. SL. TFTC.
Lovely little park. Pass it every day and didn't ever give it a second look. Needed the clue.
Found at 17:31 just as it was getting dark. I had to scratch around so much I felt like a chicken looking for worms. I must invest in a pair of cloves. This was my first of SUI-001's and I noticed a couply more in the area so I will be back. TNLN SL TFTC
The mallee hens have been nest building in the area but only this one has reported a find. I had to scratch over the whole area more than once before I was successful. I took a nurse and left a genie, both lovely girls.

Found by Roma and Max.
We had plans to make a family visit on our way home but who can pass by an unfound cache, even at this time of night.
Finding a parking spot anywhere nearby was difficult tonight on this very busy road but we succeeded and with our torch we proceeded to GZ and our search. Thankfully we had the area to ourselves as it took us some time to find the well hidden container.

A friend had told me about the really great market - but unfortunately I forgot to confirm with her that it's on a Sunday, so my Saturday trip was in vain. But finding the cache made up for it. Well hidden indeed. Thanks.
We had to take two goes at this cache as there was a muggle in the park first time around.
We have passed this park many times but didn't know that it was once a gold mine.

Mark & I attempted this cache yesterday afternoon but after spending 20 minutes or so in the pouring rain with an EPE of 30 metres we called it quits. I was out and about today whilst Mark headed for Maryborough to do a display for the Highland games tonight. He had the GPS with him so I spent the day caching without an electronic device. Checked the Coffee hot line and they confirmed that we had been looking in the wrong area ( kind of glad as there was a lot of broken glass and used syringes). A few minutes later the cache was in hand

We noticed this park for the first time this morning while doing Christmas shopping. When it came time to do some geocaching, this one was obvious. The cache took a few minutes to find since it was so well hidden. There weren't many people around since they were otherwise occupied. There were a few dedicated dog-walkers. The cache was found at 7:05pm. Thanks Sui_001 for the cache and for bringing us to this park. We took a Mt Cootha bookmark and left a soccer ball water-pistol.
Passed this one on the way in to get xfkings sweet 16 cache and we picked this up on the way back. Actually Oenze found it as I was looking, not quite in the right place. Left a green beetle and took a green frog.
Maybe thats why I ended the day feeling green!!!! Not really!!!!(I ended up sick at the end of the day, which doesn't have anything to do with this cache, but is why I'm logging my finds a day late.)
Many Thanks for the cache.

Found on 30/10/05 @ 2253 AEDT. The 56th of 58 caches for the day with Facitman for the Spring Caching Carnival.
Parking in the nearby side street, we strolled down to GZ and found the cache without too much trouble. The lid on the container is very loose - a maintenance visit is suggested

This is one the easiest difficulty 3 caches I have ever done. The GPSr led us to the right place and having approached from an unconventional angle we were confronted by the appropriate spot as we walked up. Woohoo!
Took horse, left 3m measuring tape. Also grabbed TB Tiny Ted.

A perfect day for caching today. Just cool enough with threatening rain to keep the muggles away from all the popular spots. Kiwideb and I started nice and early today while most were still in the land of 'Nod'. This was found towards the end of our day. I sat in the GeoEuro at the bus stop while Kiwideb did her thing. This had to be one of the fastest finds in my caching experience. Sitting there with one eye on the rear view mirror waiting for one of those huge buses to move us along. A waiting passenger cast a few serious glances my way. Goodness knows what she was thinking. Thanks Sui_001

Final 6th cache for the day, with SDM Geo.
This one took us a long time to find. We found other things like an old VW Hub Cap and some other plastic looking lid and many old plastic bags. After a good 15 minute search I had cache in hand.

The cache was well hidden as you said, but Muzza and I mannaged to find it within 5 mins at 12:55pm. I guess 2 sets of eyes are better. This is a little patch of Melbourne I would have never got to unless I was told it was there, so I was glad you pointed it out. Thanks for the cache. TNLN.
Alan-son joined me for this cache, but he was at a slight disadvantage as he didn't have his GPS with him. We searched around for a few minutes before the cache was found. I didn't make a swap. Thanks for the cache.
Found in the company of Pprass and Maccamob, pleasant little park and not too many people about. Was it the gusty wind or the nearby spectacle of a mown down traffic light? Anyway thank you Sui for another cache. TNLN
Last cache for the day after we started at 10.00am this morning with maccamob and Biggles Bear to conquer "The Ghost of Briely's 1st. Off With The Birds". We had three GPSr's amongst us and as usual we scattered in an area of about 50 metres each convinced that we had GZ. After just a few moments we found the cache at 4.05pm in the well hidden spot in a lovley little park tn/ln Thanks Sui_001.
Found by Mary & David at about 1610, in company with pprass and Biggles Bear. Hadn't really noticed this little park before although we have passed by many times. We arrived at the corner to find a gathering of police, a repairman and many onlookers where a truck and trailer had brought down a traffic light pole. The activity diverted all attention away from the park, and we had it all to ourselves. This time it was Peter P who found the cache first, soon after we reached GZ. TNLN. Our thanks once more to Sui_001.
Wasn't do any shopping just thought I'd drop into the park and see how difficult this one could be. Great little area. The weather, I think, kept the muggles from invading my search so I had the cache in hand in a matter of minutes. TNLN. Thanks for the cache.
Thank goodness for caching! When the boys get bored and start to fight what better way to distract them than to hand over the GPS'S and stick them in the middle of a park and so go!
Luke won this find, so handed over the log book to mum while they keyed in the next cache a little along the road.
Thanks to Sui 001 for the cache.

We were on our way to the Glen just last weekend when I remarked that this little park would be a good spot for a cache - especially as it has a bit of history - the Holland Gold Mine operated here from 1893 to the turn of the century according to a nearby sign. The hardest part is finding a parking spot - even for a motorbike . The coords were extremely accurate and I found the cache immediately.
I had no swaps, so TNLN

I was beaten by Geodes by 35 minutes. I enjoyed this little park. Parks like this are what make Melbourne so beautiful. They don't have to be big to provide pleasant green islands in suburbia.
Anyhow, I found the cache at 1130 after a short search. While I was signing the log book I noticed that my GPSr was reading 0m! [^] I dropped off the Two Fingers TB to continue its travels. Thanks to Sui_001 for the cache. I couldn't help wondering about the significance of the glowing green skull picture. [?]

Found at 13:30. A nice easy cache, noticed my good caching mate Dak had been to this one, but had not been to the other near by, gave him a quick call to see if he was in the area, but he had missed seeing the one near by. Gives you another excuse to return Dak. Nice little spot in such a mad area. Was good to return to the area, met my wife in glen waverly and spent quite a bit of time in this area while we were going out as teens. Wow that was twenty years ago my time flies. Took TB Two Fingers.
Thanks.
