Didnt see the Australis Aurora tonight but found this cache. Sun flares didnt affect the GPS. Coordinates were good. With sister dotmay66. TFTC
Found with Mazza-g . Came to see the aurora lights. No lights tonight but with a very enthusiast sister found the geocaching in the dark under torch light at 8:50pm
I was in Tooradin at 6am on a Sunday morning dropping one of the kids down to go fishing on a mate's boat. It was a stunning morning so I thought I'd hang around and do a spot of caching. There are lots of red herring white buckets buried in this area (?) but I stumbled upon the large cache eventually! No mozzies to bother me this early in the morning.
Was a fight with the swarm of mozzies to get this cache. Lovely spot and glad to out a smiley face on this as dont want to go back without mozzie repellant. Found with yummy az eats. Tftc
As I stumbled around, I stumbled across this golden oldie, The cache container momentarily threw me off, but it's great to see this cache has survived.
Down this way as part of the Drive around Casey Whereigo so checking out some local caches. TFTC!
Found it , a nice big container being guarded by some local frogs. All in good order. Tftc
I was in Cranbourne visiting my Uncle in a nearby Nursing home and after I was done there I thought I would grab a cache before heading home to Geelong. I am always on the lookout for large caches and it does hurt to grab an old cache either.
After parking the car I made the short walk into the bush and followed the trail to as close as I could before I left the track to make a nice quick find.
Thank you Mr.Coffee and the Coffee Clan for the hide

Happy days! Quick wander in and a thankfully short search for the container.
Not sure of the significance of the buried buckets, but left alone to keep catching their prey. Tftc

Coming past for a family event and figured we would do this quickly first . After a small search GeoGF found it easily. Log very wet previously but signed Tegan and GeoGF. TFTC
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to The Coffee's for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

A last minute decision to get out and do some old-fashioned caching, not worrying about calendars, grids, challenges, mega etc.
Once we found the way in, and read the hint, we spotted the nice sized cache.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, The Coffee's

I was meant to be in Alexandra today, however this had to be cancelled due to the significant floods and emergency warnings still existing around regional Victoria. I could definitely use the extra time in my diary, but a couple of quick caches to clear the head wouldn’t hurt either.
Found a way into this old cache and soon had the log book in hand. I love exploring places I’ve never been before.
Thanks The Coffee's for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

I braved the mozzies to get to this one :3
What a cute little reserve with so much hard work being put into it, lots of understory revege is being placed in and i wonder what the buckets are for? Surveys?
I was lucky enough to come do this cache right when the orchids where in bloom!

The gps was not our friend for this one. Bounced us all over the place but we found it eventually as well as a few dead animals and a neighbour dog. TFTC
This cache was hard to find due to the gps being uncooperative in this area. There were numerous dead animals torn apart in the area that made the search difficult. The cache is in need of repair. The notebook! It is mouldy to being black. Everything was wet and in an awful state.
Out for a mother's Day adventure with xambo4u
Disappointed the camera is not still in this one but that's ok. It's a beautiful little park for a walk.

Out and about with pimpmyballoons for my mothers day geo day out to achieve my 10,000th. Never been in this area and great space to discover. Nice easy find and no hope of a photo shoot. Cache is in good condition. Thanks for bringing here The Coffee's
Lovely day to be out caching. This one was in hand very quickly. Took nothing left nothing. TFTC
Came down this direction to grab a mystery I solved for my mystery month challenge, and with some more daylight available I figured I’d look for some other caches.
I am always on the search for large cache, so wanted to come and grab this one.
The walk to GZ was absolutely gorgeous, I had never been to the Cannons Creek area and only wish I had more time to explore.
The cache was easily found once I arrived to GZ, but unfortunately that was because it appeared to have been muggled. I found the cache upside down with the lid off and the contents spread about.
I picked everything up, but unfortunately the logbook had taken some water damage. It was dry today so sign the log and place back in the logical position based on the hint, but this one might need a maintenance run. TFTC

Took the short stroll from the fire station to GZ. The cache was removed from its location and the contents over the ground. It was full of water which I tipped out but it needs some TLC. Thanks for bringing me to a new location
CO your cache requires some TLC. No log book, was found out in the open and away from the GZ site. Elements have got to it unfortunately. We met other caching hunters too! Will send through photo for proof of find.
Great sized cache, unfortunately lots of water inside container. We dried it out as best we could, but despite the plastic bag it was it the log was quite soggy.
Since Victorians were released from Stage 3 lockdown we have tried to get out regularly to do a caching run. Our plans for travelling the central parts of NSW and Q’land were thrown into disarray in 2020, so our caching numbers for the year ended up being our worst in 10 years of caching, so we are keen to up the ante this year. As usual we met up with caching buddy Rebel Acts, and as a result have signed many of our joint finds RASP.
After leaving home in the rain we arrived in Warragul to see it get heavier. The forecast said it would clear towards later morning, but we were more hopeful than believing. However the further west we travelled the drier it got, and ended up a lovely day-weather wise that it. Unfortunately as we took a break to have lunch it was to hear Dan announce a short, sharp Stage 4 lockdown for the entire state. Thank goodness we decided to do the caching run today instead of tomorrow! We blame Rebel. Last year we were on a caching run with him at Glenmaggie when Dan announced the Stage 3 lockdown. We ended up with a full house after that, our daughter moved in with her husband and their kids so we could help them cope with working from home, remote schooling and preschool watching.

Nice stroll thru the Bushland getting eaten by mozzies. Tried to enter from the right but turned around and found an easier way thru the left. TFTC all looks to be in order.
Thanks for this one. Someone has obviously found this and left the lid off and the recent rains have drowned everything. No sign of the camera sorry to say
The sun was shining a litttle to brightly to to see the rainbow but we did find the pot. Unsure about the mosquito breeder nearby if that was part of it but we did not hang around long for fear of getting eaten alive.
Thanks Mr.Coffee and the Coffee Clan for the cache.

Visit Cannon Creek for a quick stop. Weather was so strange with a nice day, few hails and rains. Found it and managed to log it during heavy rain. Thanks The Coffee‘s Clan and especially Mrs Coffee for placing this cache
Out and about today to cleanup a few more caches in this area
Weather was overcast and indeed there was a faint rainbow to be seen in the distance
Cache was easily located early morning before the locals were up and about
Many thanx to Mr.Coffee and the Coffee Clan for maintaining this older cache

Easy parking beside the basketball court, and a track starts right there for a stroll thru simple quiet bushland past the Pot of Gold.
Found easily. Hardest part was finding the right place to park. Another Mystery at the Museum cache.
Managed to find this one without too much difficulty. Well off the path, but secluded and no muggles about today. It served as a nice location to walk around this area and down to the mangroves, before heading back to the CFA building.

Out on the trail for a multi cache, I was very embarrassed when I accidentally made MsSmokeyBear take a wrong turn...I am normally a great navigator...not tonight by the looks of it...but over there...there is a cache! Lets go and grab it.
A nice quick find. TFTC

After overnighting in Mt Martha I was on a random route towards South Gippsland and collecting a few caches along the way. A lovely walk to GZ and a lovely surprise to actually find a pot of gold TFTC Mr Coffee and the Coffee Clan
Nice quick find. Signed the log and got attacked by mossies.
Thanks FTC Coffees.

Mother’s Day request: challenge, finding five sizes in a day.
This was near a much coveted playground and an even more needed public toilet.
The cache was found with ease, and the contents were dry and clean. Thank you for helping us on our challenge Mr. Coffee and the Coffee Clan!

An easy find in a nice reserve. I found the old cache(?) nearby and for a moment I thought that it was at the bottom of that puddle. Glad I saw the real cache nearby before I had a big splash about.
On our way to Tooradin to buy some swag from "Nicks Trash to Treasure" at 99 South Gippsland Hwy and thought a quick detour to this cache would be fun. Because of previous logs Ive always put this one off not knowing what I'm going to find... So we get close but where to park, since it wasn't hot today we thought its ok to park next to fire brigade shed, then we had a quick stroll to GZ. So far no mozzie's or snakes... Found it! Being large its not hard to find, even though previous visitor did their best to 'hide it'. I took the 2 trackables and signed the log. Hubby insisted on covering it some more to protect from muggles. Saw no frogs today. Thankyou kindly The Coffee's.
Went on a little walk through this reserve. Had a bit of difficulty finding a park. Got to GZ and cache was very exposed. A family of frogs had moved into what looked like old GZ. We left the s in their new home, SL and tried to camouflage container. TFTC Coffees.

I’m staying with family across Rutherford Inlet at Warneet. We came here as directed covered in bug spray and armed with a snake stick! I didn’t see any snakes but the mozzies certainly saw me, the evil little gits.....chewed me up!
This is a great old cache, couldn’t miss it after getting off the track.
I picked up the TB that was there and dropped off two more, one that I’ve brought from the UK whose mission was to come to Australia and TIT the smerf.

After a nice sleep in and while drinking my morning coffee I was looking over the geocaching map and wondering where to go.
North into the hills? Or South towards the Bay? A few areas piqued my interest up North but when I spotted a Large cache with at least one TB in it near the Bay my mind was made up.
I quickly created a pocket query and saved it to my GPS.
I've been past this area but had never ventured into Cannons Creek proper. It looks like a nice village. I parked nearby and enjoyed the walk in the sun. The cache was found quickly but only one TB found which I took and left behind one I brought back from NZ.
Cache in good condition. Thanks The_Coffees

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I usually cache on my own but sometimes I will collect my nephew stinky bob and my brother stinky tom who both enjoy this hobby.
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work.

Needed for a challenge I'm currently working towards. Interestingly I think the original container(?) has lost it's lid and is full of stagnant water which of course should lead to a multiplication of mozzies (who like to breed in stagnant water) right at GZ.
Might be worth getting rid of it if that's the case or alternatively shifting GZ. Otherwise the current container seems to be doing it's job. Thanks for keeping this one going for over a decade, Mr. & Mrs. Coffee.

Not sure what we were looking for here. The whole area around the cache site is a mess. Found the log-book all over the place and a heap of swaps also all over the place and the cache was found in another spot. Anyway, TFTC. SL. Put everything back in the spot where we thought it was to be. Thanks for bringing us to this area. Looks like a nice quiet place in better weather. The CO might have to come and check on this area and cache. Cheers.
After first a couple of containers close to GZ filled to the brim with water, one with what might have been swag littered around it, I investigated a third obvious container which had only a wet, almost sodden log book which I was able to leave my mark in. A couple of plastic bags, one with the log book and a bigger empty one was all there was in the cache. At least I've found a Coffeeclan cache! TFTC
On parking the car a well-fed, fluffy pussy cat greeted us and led us in the direction of the cache. I'm not where she ended up but it didn't matter. The cache was hard to miss. Unfortunately it has taken some water and the log is very moist. Hopefully it starts to dry out as the weather warms up. Thanks Mr Coffee & Coffee Clan for the cache.
Came over to do a couple and have a look around. My first visit to Canons Creek even though my cousins lived at Warneet for many years. Had a wander and got directions from some really friendly teens, must have looked a bit lost LOL Cache was ok log a bit damp but otherwise good. Many thanks
quick jaunt through the wet bush. This is one big cache. Note pad a bit damp. TFTC
Where to go on a cold morning, when you wan to drive against the traffic? Here! To Cannon Creek. It's a pity I packed MontsII up with a new geocaching tool set "no they are not tweezers, they are log extraction tools" only days ago to go log some European finds, as he is an avid Cannon collector, so I thought he would like this place! Anyway, upon arrival at the cache, it was clear that a geocachers worst fears had occurred. A muggling. With great delight I managed to find a signable, although wet log, which I replaced into a new ziplock. I hid the container back as best I could, but feel very let down that I have not got to discover what is in the pot of gold! TFTC The Coffee's
Arrived at this cache at 5am and following one trail got close to gz but the area seemed overgrown. With lots of places to look, reverted to the hint but even that seemed to have a few too many lilely spots.
After searching a few spots, expended rhe search area and found a little clearing with something that just demand my attention and the very large cache was found.
Thanks for the cache Mr.Coffee and the Coffee Clan

Apologies for the late log. This one is located in the general area where I have found quite a few caches over the last year. It had been disabled for a while so I just hadn’t got back to it. I was able to make a diversion after work today and head to take a look. Did a bit of illegal parking nearby and headed in on foot. I made a bit of a meal of it as I took an indirect (and ultimately unnecessary) route to the cache. When I did get to the right spot it was a pretty quick find of this good sized cache. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for this cache Mr Coffee and the Coffee Clan.
