This cache has been muggled twice even though its position was changed by almost 100m so, after a timely reminder , I have archived it in the hope that the area may be more successfully used by another cacher.
And, living close by, I might be launched back into geocaching action by the possibility of an FTF

We lifted so many rocks in search for this cache I recon we could have been employed as landscape gardners. But all to no avail. The cache was nowhere to be found. Has it been muggled???? I suppose only time will tell. may have to try again.
Thought we were in the right spot. Had a good look but couldn't find it. Will have to have another go.
In Tassie visiting family and taking some time out to find some caches. TFTC
Well I stopped
The good news was that there were no skoolchids anywhere near GZ even after skool had finished
The bad news was that the painters giving the playground a spruce up were keeping the skoolchids away [:o]
At least painters are not as interested as skoolchids about what I was doing wandering around. I sat down in the shade and reached over and grabbed the logbook from the cache
I never got to play with the toys, but
TFTC.

No real children willing to indulge themselves here, so we just had to imagine ourselves ten years younger! What a fun cache, Thanks.
Well, this cache has a whole lot of fun in it! Looked at the games, looked at the sky, and beat a retreat. Great that such a large cache has been there for so long.
Found with gavz after linux.conf.au 2009 whilst waiting to drop him at the airport to go home.

Sorry, I had no time to stop, I was on the run! On this short visit to Tasmania, I was determined to find some caches. TFTC, TNLNSL.
Thanks for attempting some maintenance Roaring 40's.
The cache will be back out in a few days and in better condition.

Found this after having a bread roll on the top, found cache in a very very wet condition, bubble bath soap leaking badly so removed it, but didn't have anything to dry it out with (sorry).
Also removed very wet kite.

Stopped by here today to do some cache maintenance but as I approached GZ I was dive-bombed by a couple of hostile muggle plovers. Defending myself with a bubble blower seemed ineffective so I retreated to cover.
My next approach will be from a different direction and hopefully the maintenance will be carried out soon.
In the meantime I apologise for the state of the cache.

Really well hidden, took quite a while to find (possibly because it was dark ) great place though, very nice park. TFTC, TNLN/SL. Cheers!
A great find at twilight, the bubble mix has leaked through the cache though, so it was a wet and sticky affair!
Tom Tom seems to be having trouble since we left Launceston and today was no exception. We parked on a dirt road and started walking toward a very smooth looking bitumen road not far off. We did find our way to GZ where the sports fields were in full swing and the playground had a dad and daughter playing in it. We took a seat and watched the activities until the two left the play ground and then we headed off to GZ for a nice easy find. This is a interesting idea for a cache, one we may try when we get home. We did not play with anything as a couple of old farts running around with a kite, blowing bubbles and throwing cards around was sure to attract attention of the wrong kind.
Thanks elgolco for a great cache.
Thanks elgolco for a great cache.
Found this one, great area, too cold to play! so logged and went on to Happy Birthday.
great area to take the kids. but I don't have any so I took ShirtyBird and Loki instead. pretended we were 4 and blew bubbles! tftc
Found with Loki and Ordex, stopped to blow some bubbles Great unique little cache! Thanks.
Note: 7yr old Marine didn't want to write, so head Marine will.
This log is my third (out of four caches (Me 3-1 7yr old)) from our caching afternoon. It is from cache #1.
We used bubbles, (SamCarter filled up orange) square puzzle (without solving) and nylon kite (with 4-yr old Marine).
Placing back the cache, and, well, a cat decided to poke his head in.
We went round Mt. Nelson's summit, then went for the next cache.
Head Marine signing out (and hopefully, I'll get a nice long break !)

Hmmm... almost had as much fun here as I did last time I played here! Mind you, it was our grade 6 final excursion, and our "fun" resulted in our leaver's dinner being cancelled! It wasn't me, honest! Loved the idea for this one; thanks heaps!
On a sunny afternoon SG-3 and the Marines joined me on a caching run and this was our first stop. This was a lovely little playground which the Marines enjoyed, and we blew bubbles and flew one of the kites before returning them (the bubble blowers and the kites, not the Marines) to the excellent cache (neat idea). We also topped up the bubble mix, since I happened to have some with me (as you do!!). Thanks for the cache and a nice park.
After 18 months or so we found this cache. It was a second attempt. Better late than never. Took something left something. Thanks.
We finally found the time to find this cache. H10 and R12 with me. Much is the pity we didn't have enough time to really play with everything in the box ( H10 did have some bubble time ) . Be assured that I think the kids will be back up there at some time ( as long as they don't show their muggle friends )
What a suprise to find a package addressed to us. Many thanks El Golco.

Great to have an easy find after a full day in the city. Was very impressed at the standard of the swaps, then I realised they were not swaps, so I just spent a few moments looking at them before we had to move on. TFTC.
Rated: for Overall Experience
A fairly quick find after GPS settled. Sadly didn't have time to make use of any of the contents.

As reported, the cache is rather damp. I have it in hand and will dry and restock in the next few days.
As this was our first attempt at locating a cache we were grateful for the clear instructiions provided for this cache. After scrambling around in the cutting grass on a deligthful Spring day we were rewarded with the sign of a well hidden container deep within the cutting grass.
Contents were somewhat wet after a few days of heavy rain. Removed batteries as they were rusting in the plastic bag. Tried to dry contents as best we could.
Thank you!

Very early morning cache. Gspblu found it first Thanks for the cache El Golco TNLN
Found very early this morning. Too dark to be playing games!
I think you would still need a torch to find this one in the daylight. Thanks el golco

Third time lucky! This time I brought my Relunctantly Geocaching Spouse, but even her Eagles Eyes (TM) were unable to find the cache. Finally the Thumping Big Stick Method(TM) prevailed and the cache was revealed. It is a great concept for a cache (might be ripping this one off at some stage), but I couldn't help feeling that we didn't see this cache at its best.
After trying for a while to find this one I walked away and was half way back to the car when I stopped, turned, and thought ONE MORE TRY! The additional hints mean't I looked a little further into the dark bits and found it. No time left to play as I was on my way to work. Thanks el golco.
as usual, I didn't read the log before I went to find it,
so it was a rather nice surprise when I finaly read the log on my palm pilot onsite.
minicaher had time to play on the playground, and the next one up atempted puzzles (rather unsuccessfuly).
excellent idea, i may copy it, if you don't mind, when i relocate at the end of the year.

Well we did as we were instructed and had a great time at this cache -we blew bubbles, flew planes, did a puzzle, swung on swings. Thanks for bringing us here el golco.
Found 200705141024 . The RhinoUncle and I feared that we may have disturbed a courting couple in flagrente when we arrived at the car park [:o] so we did the right thing and parked as far away as we could . At GZ the cache was found after quite a bit of poking around

el golco has noted two DNFs at this one but as it is not the best GPS receiving area will leave it online for the moment and add an extra hint.
Will check on this as soon as I return from the Great Caching Holiday To South Australia.
Cheers and good hunting

I certainly haven't got the hang of this kind of terrain yet. On reading back through the logs, I'm at least reassured that I'm not alone in having difficulties with this one. I'll be back...
Tenth of thirty-one finds in company with Snuva's female slave. I hate 'em in rocks, and I'm not over fond of them in sword grass either. However, at least this one is a nice, big container. [^] I found it at 1055 after a short search. Given the name of the hider, perhaps !STOP! should be ¡STOP!. I made no exchange. Thanks to el golco for the cache. Cheers, dak.
Found late afternoon after a protracted search with the feet mainly. Found two new golf balls too which will soon be found in caches. thanks el golco
Luckily stubbed my boot on this one..as I do around cutting grass.Well hidden..need to persevere though.TNLNSL TFTC Cheers el golco.
I'm glad there weren't many people about today, I would have felt quite dodgy wandering round that little patch of bush if there were muggle kids about! Bit of a trial to find the plastic, very well hidden but got there. Dropped off the very cool 'The Kiss' TB that I picked up when visiting the Lilypad in Seattle (is that cache name dropping?). Thnaks el golco, nice spot.
Second of the day - DNF. It must be some kind of the a record. But anyway Thank you.
Quickly gained the correct area, but had wildly erratic GPS coverage, and had to use the phone a friend option, and Sweetitweeti soon was down retrieving it. TNLN, thanks el golco
Have been rushing around like a cut cat, finally found cache, moggle asked us if we were looking at buying a block of ground. Thanks for cache el golco.T/N L/N S/L
Looked towards GZ which was swarming with little children, this was not going to be found by us today.
Got to GZ only to find children making a cubbyhouse in scrub where GPS was pointing. HAd to abandon search.
Pirates Who Don't Do Anything...
The Shadow slinks from the darkness and speaks. "As a pirate, I am logging my find, along with Captain Nod. I contributed an expensive necklace, and took out a primative flying plaything which has given me much enjoyment. With some difficulty, the pirtaes pervailed and found their first group cach, with many more to come..."
And with those words, The Shadow leaves the light, and goes back into the darkness that is his home.

The pirates who don't do anything:
David Bernie and Dainis visited the place,
and found the thingy with no GPS, just the map and a
compass, an old fashioned way.
It was hidden pretty well, we were lucky to find it.
contributed a Manicure set, batteries and a chain necklase taking a Rubber ball a set of playing cards and a kite.

In the excitement of finally logging this find, I forgot to say the cache was full of water. Contents all appeared dry, so emptied water, but then got muggled by local kids playing hide and seek, so had to quickly repack, hide and talk loudly about white flowers...... So pushed well back into hide. Cheers Quilter
Third time lucky. This cache was fast becoming our nemesis. Another search today after such a successful day at the event - Sirius had the vibes we would find it today. After searching and looking and the GPS pointing to many different hiding places, Quilter threw in the towel and said right, Lets just check here one more time and then thats it! Well it worked. Quilter found it! Hurrah. Dropped in a Canadian Geocoin for a visit. Thanks for the cache, it caused us to Stop here 3 times. Cheers Quilter
We found this one on a relatively muggle free day. 4yo cacher boy thought the puzzles were great fun for about 10 seconds, and then decided that Mum and Dad should fit them back together. Took TB.
Apologies to Swampy:jumped to the conclusion that he was the mysterious cacher who suggested improved co-ords. 2+2=
But why, el golco? Initially, the GPS said 12m away. Emphasis on initially....
I didn't post any new co-ords so why should I get grumpy DNFs?

Was this once an animal hole? Termite Ted lives there now, finally he found a new home!
Good hide, thought it might be a den for some vicious Tassie devil, being from Canada not sure about searching in the bush.

[With a little help from a fellow cachee, we finally found this one just as we were about to give up. A nice big cache, the area can be a bit tricky] Perhaps these new co-ordinates might help S 42 55.four four nine - E 147 19.eight six five
We stopped. We lunched. We looked. We refreshed. We looked. Don't know if it was the geocringe with the neighbour over the fence gardening or cache blindness, but we could not find it. Cheers Quilter.
Not sure how I managed to find this one in the dark, but somehow did, just as I was about to give up the ghost and go home.
I blew some bubbles! Top cache idea, not easy to find either.
I blew some bubbles! Top cache idea, not easy to find either.
el golco has checked and although there has been vigorous spring growth, the cache is still in place and visable from the right angle but please check that the hidey-hole is not otherwise occupied before entering
If it is still located in the thicket that the GPS indicated, it was beyond us to dig it out. Nice park!
4 y.o. nephew was very keen to go on a "treasure hunt" and a play in a park so despite cloud and mist we set off. In to the scrub we went and finally the height advantage of a 4 y.o. won out and he was most excited to find the treasure. The bubbles were fun because in the mist they all lay on the surface of the grass without popping. The mist turned into light rain, but it didn't stop him deciding the best game was an interesting version of "fetch" involving a ball, him throwing it and... yes, me fetching. thanks el golco... I think.
Signed log, and ran back to the car through the rain, and home to hot showers and dry clothes.

Had to resort to the "help line" for this one - thanks el golco! Blew some bubbles and signed log.
Went back and stopped at the scene with the whole CP family, as promised! Piglet was excited about the kite, but there wasn't enough wind, so we enjoyed ourselves by blowing bubbles at the dogs and muggles littering the park, and Mr CP had fun figuring out the puzzles. Great idea, great cache el golco. Thankyou AGAIN!!!
Finally on the third attempt! Found after approaching GZ from a totally different way to the last two visits.
This cache was definitely placed with the Tasmanian Cache Placement Standards in mind. Pity my GPSr had the cache 12m away to start with. This cache has been bugging me because it is right on my doorstep and I couldn't find it.
TNLNSL. Thanks el golco.

Now - about 'There She Goes'......

didnt find this one because we got muggled by a barking dog and then a man came out from his house and seen us
thank anyway

Muggled before we could have a decent look. this was a little close to the backdoor of a nearby residence, owner investigated what his dog was barking at & found us. Felt too conspicuous to stay, so left this one alone after that.
kids had a ball in the park though, thanks el golco.
We'll be back

Snuva, as usual, is correct - Mrs CP DID find the cache . The rather large geotrail leading to and from the cache also made it easier to find, although I am not blaming Ms Snuva for that, as I am pretty sure it was all the doing of the ring tailed possum. I'm sure Swampy will just be able to follow possum prints now
This cache is going to get visited again at a later date by the rest of the CP clan so we can have a play - great idea el golco!

Well, I spent around 30 minutes looking for this one as the GPS had GZ in about a gazillion different places.
I thought this was supposed to be a stress and strain relief cache - all I ended up with was cuts, stress and strains.
I'll be back for another look later - someoneelse can claim FTF for this........

I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiments of this cache. Caching is something to be enjoyed. We should savour the moment when we find that hidden treasure, not just rush off.
But, then there's the irresistable urge to try for an FTF, even when pressed for time. I'm sorry el golco, but if it's any consolation I will return with the family, follow the instructions when they find it, and have some fun.
Watch out for a little ringtail possum in the undergrowth: both parties get a fright when the little fella jumps out from almost under your foot and scoots up a tree.
Thanks el golco!

Yes el golco, Snuva agrees that taking some time out to have a break, relax, and enjoy the cache is a priority; another priority is getting out in the middle of the day to grab some fresh air, no matter how short the break. I was beginning to wonder about where el golco might live and whether or not interesting 'log photos' might be posted!
Found the cache and was writing in the log when suddenly a cheesy aroma could be smelled! Quickly finished log and tried to exit through a more 'interesting' route to put our favourite cachers on trotters off, however it's doubtful that ruse worked. TNLN had a chat! Thanks for the lunchtime fun, el golco!
