Walked all the way from the fountains along this great path but wish I'd read the logs first lol

First time geocaching. Pretty sure about location it not sure how much you have to dig - I didn't think it would be buried, would it? Any more hints?
Searched GZ and couldn't find it, and it's a very easy spot. I think it may have gone.
What a great way to start geocaching. Been meaning to do it for years. Now I have my son (and husband) addicted to it after he found this one. Right where we thought it might be but due to one very suspect looking muggle we had to double back after he had left.

This was the only find for today. I was on my way to a meeting at UWS Bankstown and decided to make a detour whilst I was in the area to find this cache. I wanted to find this one because it was easy and it filled a missing date on my dates hidden calendar. I found parking about 150m from GZ and although there were some council workers, I doubt they took much notice of me. I followed the path and with good coordinates, soon had CIH. SLTNLN. TFTC.

Well pretty fun journey but the contents inside rather got moist just saying like the notepad
Nice day for aride along M5. Easy find, a little too obvious so we hid it further in. Box was a little damp as well. Thanks.
7/3/15. 12:33 PM. Cache #2302. Streak day #258. The 4th of 7 for the afternoon, all around the Bankstown area. I continued here from "Ruse Park" and parked as close as I could, about 150m off. This one was the easiest of the day, as there was really only one place it could be, eh. The log was slightly damp, but signable, and the contents were musty. I replaced it and then jogged the 1.5 km to "Salt Pan Reserve 1", so that I could do the SPR series from 1 to 4 on my way back here. TFTC }:)
A great place to picnic. Thanks for bringing us here! TB dropped off, none taken (none seen)
After spending the morning with a group doing part of the Pot of Gold series, Aries44 and I were still in the mood for more. Nice walk along the boardwalk and a good hide.

Returning from doing the Rainbow Series of caches, delloro and I took a stroll along the boardwalk. Soon had the CIH and signed the log. TFTC Geo Gadget Guy.
Nice and quick. Parked on Gow St for the shortest possible walk to GZ (probably not an option during weekdays though). Cache was water damaged, as others have said. Really needs to be emptied and left in the sun for an hour or two, but as I came at dusk I didn't have the option. TFTC!
Quick, easy find. Not all that watertight so some of the contents were a bit damp, but otherwise a good cache.
Was nice alone, empty quite.. Not a muggle did we sight. As you prod, poke and mind the whiffy... This wee cache did come too light, but in a jiffy.. Nice hide.. The recent weather seems to have made its entry.. Wet inside
Quick walk to one of the few that still seem findable in the area.
Could pick the spot from a ways off.
Found with friend and tried to get the water out at least a little bit.
Thanks for the cache!

This was the only one of the Salt Pan Reserves series I was able to find After 4 DNF of the previous ones my self esteem plummeted. I was glad to have found this one. Thanks for the cache P.S. very stinky place @_@

#847 (1 of 3 today) (Streak day 220)
I've had this one on my radar for a while - it fills in a Hidden Month - and is close to my preferred route south to the Shire.
So, with little time to go for anything too time consuming today, I picked this and one other cache as potential park and grabs.
And this one was a quick find. The only muggle was a walker who strolled down the cycleway while I was sitting at a nearby bench completing signing duties.
Cache was in good condition - maybe marginally damp, but nothing serious.
Walked back to the car and continued on my way.
There are no TBs in the cache.

Exhaustion was kicking in but we made a quick grab in the stealth of the night! Tftc
Thanks for the cache.
Found with the kid 71. Both our phones went flat after a mornings caching. We found this one on memory alone !
Thanks for bringing us to this wonderful location. Love the boardwalks.

After geo-caching along Salt Pan creek reserve I decided to run a little bit further and was rewarded with this find. My GPS was off but I found the container in the second likely spot.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Nice short walk. Easy to locate. Tftc.
With jasmine n kay kay.

A nice stroll from MacLauchlan Oval for an easy find. I realised when I got there though that I'd dropped my pen... Scratched around with the supplied pen (that doesn't work) though so that'll have to do! TFTC, a nice oldie to add to my collection!
Out on a Skateboarding cache run! Katsumar ran straight to find this one. His first find of the day. TFTC!!!!
Took Yoyo left Grabber.

Just better at night
Still very easy
Only took 20seconds when I got there
Got to love that local smell though

Odd little area, I haven't been this far north on the path before. Pen is seemingly out of ink, will need a replacement. Thanks.
Wasn't sure if it was there or there, but picked the right spot first. Cache is fine and dry but the thing nearby was burping something evil. TFTC
An easy find while letting the geo-mutt have a run, though we needed to interrupt caching duties while muggles passed by. Found with Rat&Brats. TFTC.
A really nice stroll with JustR & geomutt, who enjoyed the expansive space & the run.
A few passing muggles, but, nothing to put us off our game.
Walked around further to have a sticky beak at the truck over the M5 railing. That's not how you park a truck!! Lol

Nice easy find this morning. Not been down here before. Left a trackable. No sign of the other trackable in here. TFTC.

Quick find while passing nearby. Saw it had a geocoin so off I headed. Contained a Path tag, but no Geocoin....

Quick find on an afternoon of Geocaching with Mosaikmum. Should of brought a bike, would be easier than drive to the caches along the river. TFTC
Quick find with Vk2rg; lovely area I never knew existed. Cache a bit wet, but the log in it's baggie is okay. Trackable logged to this cache not found. Left our pathtag and a little torch.TFTC! GGG
