Have decided to archive, after cache was muggled a couple of times. (and before Calculon posts a note)
Have already placed a few other caches since it disappeared, and will have some new caches around the area soon.
Thanks to all who found or attempted this cache.

Working on a new "muggle-proof" container. Hopefully will be up and running as early as next week.
Looks like it has been muggled again.
We will make a decision on whether to archive or replace soon.

Search all the obvious places with 3 sets of keen eyes. With zero water flowing managed to have a good ol search...but no can find. Will revisit this page to see the outcome.
Didn't manage to find this cache. We don't live far from the area so we might just have to try again.
hmmm, our weekend in Ballarat is starting to look like a caching disaster
GZ put us near a VERY obvious spot to hide a cache and we searched in what we think were ALL the obvious places, all to no avail. Time was against us with a plane to catch, so we had to give it away as a bad job
Well truth be told I didn't want to get my jeans dirty crawling around on the freshly rained on ground - we were only flying Virgin Blue, but I'm sure even they have standards
Next time maybe

A belated log. When we were in Ballarat on 12/3/07 we pulled up to this one only to realise we had already been here before. We remembered it clearly cos Geogirl loved the playground
5th for the day, found at 3.05pm. Quick find once we were at the right end. A few muggles around, looks like a 40th b'day happening at the pub next door. Took Nothing, Left Purse. Thanks 2dudes for the cache.
Sorry for the inconvenience with the travel bug. Koopermen placed for us while they were visiting down there. This is our first travel bug and we are still working out the glitches..
Good hide, hard to be inconspicuious. Walked around it 3 times before having a second look thanks to the clue.

Last of 3 of 2Dudez's caches we found today. Didn't really mean to concentrate on 2Dudez's cache but just needed a couple of nice spots to drop off a couple of TB's.
Left Princes TB & collected Hockey TB
Thanks 2Dudez.
PS The Canadian Hockey keyring TB is apparently unregistered. If anyone knows who's it is, please let me know.
NB This log entry was originally made in the name of "SteveJP".

Second find while visiting Australia from Canada. Very nice park and easy find. TNLN. Thanks for the cache. The Koopermen
Parking in the right spot can be helpful, as the location of the cache becomes obvious. TFTC
373. Quick find with nobody around the area. Did park in the wrong spot though. TFTC.
Rated: for Overall Experience
I step out of the car to hear bagpipes, thinking how can there be muggles about on a night like this. Lucky for me they were nowhere near the GZ. Took me a little while to get a steady read, with failing light, took me two looks at the same area (lucky the other look had light casting a shadow on the cache!!)
Nice hide, thanks for the cache

Found without any trouble in a good hiding spot and in a nice location. Took nothing and left nothing and can't remember why? Probably left my swaps in the car or trying to be quick before muggles turned up! Thanks 2Dudez.

A great trip for the dogs. They thought the park was great to explore. Need to be wary of snakes but on the whole a nice easy location for our first ever cache.
Took some first-timers today, to show them what to do and this cache which we found several weeks ago had been muggled. Just a couple of cans left where it was.
The cache container wasn't there where it should be ... and there was a "strange" 'muggel'-log .
We 'relocated' the container! Please check it, if the place is correct!!!
Thanks for the cache; kind regards from Cologne / Germany

The trees were playing havoc with our readings. Found it after taking a couple of direction readings from a distance. Retrieved after taking care not to injure myself (no such risk for min-mustard).

A nice and easy one once the muggles left!
TNLN, enjoyed the park - had no idea it was there. Think I forgot to write the date in the log too oops!
Thanks!

I have found this cache as part of JADE004, but have now created my own separate account (therefore I am not shown in the log book under this username).
Easy find at 8.10am when the park was empty. Thanks for showing me this part of Ballarat
A late log. I found this with RoundCircle and just getting around to logging.

Geokid2 and I tried this last weekend, but the area was thick with muggles, so we had to leave it. Found easily today. Took to the car to do the log and swaps, only to have more mini-muggles arrive and hang around. I was begining to think we would have to leave and come back to re-hide it. But fortunatley they moved on.
Took Fredo Pencil set and left Kzone toy car. Signed log.

Found at 1005 in the company of Muzza and Alansan. Thank goodness it didn't take too long considering the last time we were here. Thanks for the cache.
Alan-san, Kiwideb and I were the ones to discover the previous incarnation had been muggled. We searched for ages before phoning the owners and realising it had gone. We were together again and this time found it immediately. I made no exchange. Thanks again for this cache.
Found by edmil & maddie. This was probably our quickest find in the past two days. It was located in no time at all. Thanks for a breather from the DNFs. TNLN

I will be back though, because there are only a few places that this cache can be, but I still need light.

Found third of four for the afternoon in Ballarat. This was close to my old home, so we took a detour around the area to re-visit some of my childhood play areas. One of which I told my son (Navboy) about was using corrigated iron to slide down the hill opposite the cricket ground near GZ.
Found quickly TNLN.

Got my logs a little out of order here, but Oenze and I found this one today with little or no trouble. I would have had trouble without Oenze though because I had the old location. Anyway its done and we left a car and took a green clamp.
Many thanks indeed

Found at 3:48pm Accompanied by Chewinprickles.

We each had a different coord. reading on our GPS'r, it turned out Chewinprickles still had the old coords. this was quickly rectified and in a short time the cache was in hand
In:- Car, Out:- Clamp, Signed Log.

This was to be our last 2dudez cache for what had been a very pleasant wander around Ballarat. Even though it was a cool evening and in fading light there were still plenty of muggles around which slowed down our search considerably but at least there was no-one using the play equipment and the cache was found at 20.05
TNLNSL
Thanks 2dudez for this and all the other caches that we have found this afternoon
Our fifth cache for the day being found by the youngest member of The Hall of Fame, took batteries left football.

What was to be one of many caches on the trip home today turned out to be the last in Ballarat as the weather and night set in.
A slightly muddy find at 8:30pm after the showers had begun to bring some releif from the heat of the day.
Happy Australia Day!

Dear 2Dudez,
I logged your cache today at 9:15am as the fourth cache of thirty four on our Ballarat and Beyond Cache Bash with Dak and Embi. It's nice to have Embi driving as he knows the area so well. A short walk, then everybody picked a spot to search and bingo, got it. Thanks for the cache.
Kind Regards,

Fourth of twenty-six cache finds in company with embi and Rabbitto. I had wondered about the name of this cache, but all was revealed at the cache site. We reckoned we knew where it would be hidden, it was just a matter of exactly where. We spread out, and Rabbitto came up with it at 0915. As pprass would say: GAFF5. Thanks to 2Dudez for the cache.

Found again by Roma and Max.
We were in town once again, attending a Xmas breakup at our other favourite pass time, Square Dancing, and we couldn't resist a search for the reincarnation of this cache. Cubby houses shouldn't be a problem any more in it's new possie.
We logged our "find", swapped a Mondo for Wallace, as a keepsake, and thanks again 2Dudez.

A new cache container and a new hiding spot will need a little bit of a covert operation if there are people around.
Caught up with Muzza at the End of year get together, and found out the cache may not be where it is supposed to be.
After looking at his digital photos of the site, we saw that a Young Muggle has decided to build a Cubby House on top of our cache.
We managed to get a text message out to our team mate Troy, and when he checked, the cache has definately been pinched.
We will try to have a new cache out this week, but the co-ordinates will be different, as we will have to change the hiding spot to somewhere else in this park.
P.S.
We have also alerted the local authorities, kids should obtain the proper building permits from the council, just like the rest of us.

With Muzza and Kiwideb, we searched and searched, uncovered, re-covered, tried and re-tried, but came away empty handed. So confident were we that we could find it we came back for a second go but still came away empty handed. We later found out from the 2 Dudes that it must have gone missing, better luck next time I hope.
This was the second cache attempted by Kiwideb, Alan-san and myself for the day, and our first failure. Upon crossing the creek we were greeted by a young girl about 8 years old asking if we knew where the tunnel was. We replied no, so she then explained how to get there. She then told us she was a professional - what the???
When we headed up the slope, she yelled out that we were going the wrong way. After she had apparently left, we began a comprehensive search around the area but failed to find any trace of the cache. A call to the Maccamob help line led us to search a specific area, but again without success. With many more caches to do in the area, we left and headed for the next.
After doing a couple more, and seeing one of the MO's, we returned, but the added knowledge failed to help. A call to Mr Coffee had poor reception, but Team Crackers who were with them at the Event camp rang and put one of the 2Dudez on the line. I still wasn't completely sure where we were meant to have been searching, but it seemed as though some kids have been in the area and may have found it - a later meeting with the 2Dudez at the camp strengthened our impression.
Kiwideb and Alan-san both believe that they checked the explicit spot where the cache was hidden, so we believe that it has probably gone. Never mind. Half the enjoyment of caching is being taken to places you wouldn't otherwise visit. So thanks for the cache, and for showing us the area.
PS Accidentally recorded this as a find. Have now fixed this up.

Found at 19:05 I looked in the spot and failed to see it the GPS had me ten metres away, after searching for several minutes I gave the Maccamob help line a call and returned to find the cache I must have been blind I usually dont have any trouble fining caches in these areas I love them. Thanks this was a great little park. Terrain rating 2

Terrain 4. Should I or shouldn't I. Well why not.
Gabrielle stayed at the bottom (although I'm pretty confident she could have made it). While I took the hard way up, the dang GPSr then pointed me along the easier route.
The cache was not too hard to find either, thank goodness. Maybe I just lucked upon the hide, but anyway, a find is a find.
While I was making the swaps, Gabrielle headed to the playground and even from here I could safely keep an eye on her.
Took bubblemix, left clamp and sinkers.
Also dropped off TB.
Thanks 2Dudez. Glad I didn't spot any bananas while I was up here.

arriving at the GZ we knew we had a task ahead, however after a short time the cache was found.
Many thanks 2Dudez for the cache with a view.

Found by Roma and Max.
Now we had to put our thinking caps on for a while before we found what we were looking for here!
Container was well hidden within interesting surrounds. No one in the playground at this time of day but
we had to be aware of the frequent walkers with their dogs.
We took an Hawaiian O'o as a memento and left a Mondo Figurine.
Thanks again 2Dudez, and once we began our approach to GZ the title origin became evident.
