As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Was passing by and could not resist a challenge. If the terrain rated 4.5 before Cyclone Larry, it is about a 9 now. The 10 min walk took 45 min. The cache was still in place, however the next person who visits should consider taking some new zip lock bags at least.
I was expecting that we were the first to the site, however there have been two others to visit late last year.
Dont worry about taking your snorkelling gear, the cyclone has destroyed all the good coral around the islands as well.

This cache was recently obliterated in Cyclone Larry. Similarly "What should we do with the Dunkin'Sailor" and no doubt most caches between Gordonvale and Mission Beach.
We'll get busy putting new ones out!
