Went to check on this one after the flood on 20/5 and could not find it. Suspect it got washed away this time.
I feared an extra stealthy approach was needed, as a game of rugby had broken out on the nearby sports ground. But everybody was so busy shouting at each other that no one paid attention to what I was doing. Finding the cache was a matter of seconds.

Got to GZ just as sun was setting and found likely hidey hollow. But being dark I wasn't prepared to put my hand in the hollow. Used a stick and sure enough there it was. SL TFTC.
Found this cache with Taxisvw, during our PT exercise for 'work'. I do believe caching is starting to "ruin" my life!!

Bombs Away... 300th find for Gunnie69.
Once we had convinced the Sat Nav that there was in fact a road that wuld take us closer than 450m, we were in much better shape. Once at GZ, there were a couple of candicate trees and we hunted around the area for 10 minutes or so before striking gold. We perterbed a lizard during the hunt and he made a swift exit....
Cache is in full view from the right angle as it turned out...

Found with Silver Sovereign and Gunnie69 and 2 Junior Gunnie's, the heat was killer.
And this was the last in today's little hunt, my system no longer able to cope with the heat after my year in China. To think, 12 days ago I was in minus 11 degree temperatures, wearing 4 layers, one of which resembled a walking sleeping bag, and today I'm cache-hunting in 32 degree heat. What an amazing planet! This was a good way to end the day, with an interesting walk to GZ. TFTC! ='.'=
Our last one for the day with La Kedi flagging in the 32 degree heat. So home to cool off with a cold beer or perhaps some evil brew from GC1ADVB. Thanks wingaap and thanks Mojopossum for the new log book.
Operational - many thanks to Mojopossum for looking after this one. Your efforts are very much appreciated.

The cache has survived the flood - but alas not the contents. have removed sodden log and cache note and hope to replace by weekend.
This has been on my list to do (as have a few others around Ashgrove) for ages now and I finally got around to it today After failure at Royal Rocks (I had been forewarned though!) I was happy to find this one - TFTC wingaap
Found the cache at 4pm. Excellent hide spot. Lovely walk along to the cache. SL. Thanks wangaap for organising the cache and hunt.
Third time lucky I guess. This one was sending me grey.... Found with use of clue and without the GPS which had been sending me in the wrong direction all along. Cache in good condition.
Found on the Brisbane Caching Invasion with Steeba and The Rats.

In Brissy for a caching blitz with Steeba and Big Matt. Thanks to Big Matt we quickly had this cache in hand. Thanks for the hunt.
Thought I had rounded up the cache in record time. I was mistaken though it took only slightly longer to find it [I'll take 'em when I can get 'em]. A couple of junior muggle golfers had set up shop on the sports field, but they didn't seem interested in my hunt for a flight data recorder. SL. Thanks Wingaap. Ran into ynoth down the track a bit and looked for some royal rocks.
813 Geohusband headed for that other clump and started hunting but I've obviously not broken him in properly yet because I just went to the cache. TFTC wingaap
Interesting area, bit of a search was had, but the cache soon found. Thanks for the hunt!!

hey Wingaap - yet another one of your caches found by the 24 hour crew as they cached during night and day and then night again. Thanks for the cache.
I had never ventured into this area before. It felt like being in the far north with the playing fields carved into the jungle. Found without too much difficulty. TFTC
A pleasant area for a walk this morning. Easily found with the help of the hints. TNLN TFTC
My last find for the day. Looked around for a little bit, then managed to find it. Got attacked by mozzies in the process. TFTC!
After finding this one I should have just turned around and headed back to the car. But keen to pick up at least one more I pressed on to a long series of dnf's, archived caches and frustrated searches. The geocaching gods were certainly not smiling after lunch today! Thanks for this one and all the others today Bruce.
Found on first geowalk with kque. Happy to have been introduced with this cache.. not so happy about the mozzies

Found with kque.
As we stood in the shade of the creek we were nearly sucked dry by mozzie. They were everywhere!
kque had his butt parked ontop of GZ which made things a little trickier.

Snowman48 and I met up with Slapshot52 and jaymegee (visiting from the US) at oh dark thirty to see if we couldn't get a good "day's" caching in before the breakfast. Cache density is pretty high in wingaap territory so we were in for a pretty good morning.
Just a little further down the trail... actually it was just perfect at this time of morning to be stolling down by the creek here. I'm glad we did our seeking on the way down here; it was much harder to see headed east with the morning sun in our eyes.

Rated: for Overall Experience
One of 15 caches on a "cache and dash" trip with Snowman48, Mloe, and Slapshot52 while visiting Brisbane from Colorado on a business trip. Ditto what Slapshot52 said -- big thanks to Mloe and Snowman48 for choosing the caches, driving us around and (ahem) teaching me to use my GPSr more effectively
Grabbed this one on a personal record breaking run of 16 caches in one day with Snowman48, Mloe, and jayemgee while visiting Brisbane from Colorado Springs, Colorado on a business trip. It was nice to get out of the downtown area and see something beside the inside of the hotel and the walls of a meeting room! Big Thanks to Mloe and Snowman48 for taking time away from visiting family on a beautiful Saturday to show us around this great city.
Since we were visiting from the USA we decided to a little cache hunting very early in the morning. So a team of Jayemgee, Slapshot52, Snowman48 and Mloe (the guy with the local knowledge) set out to find as many caches in 4 hours as possible. This was one of 15 finds for the day and a great welcome back to caching for Slapshot52 who has been in a very unsuitable caching location for a good time. Thanks for the cache.
I did this cache with Bitsprayer.
Seem to have missed it when logging all of my cache finds.

First of two "SPRUNG BY ANOTHER CACHER" events today. The first I knew of it, Rastas was looking over the turkey mound saying, "this is gonna be hard to explain if you're not caching". Good to see you too, Bob. I'll have to work on my stealth mode, I think. TN/LN/SL
Part of an unplanned adhoc caching day in the Ashgrove area (to clean up some unfound caches)
As I approached I saw a good example of the Concealus Cacheris Latlongusjunkii crouched down behind the scrub turkey mound. One must be careful not to startle these particularly flighty creatures as they are prone to silly grins when discovered... (to his credit, he even tried to hide the cache so I would have to find it... But I was having none of that!!!)
Nice to see you out and about Richard!!

Was in Brisbane for work, and decided to hunt a couple of caches while I had a little spare time! Nice easy find... But the mozzies started attacking as soon as I tried to sign the log! Otherwise – nice spot! Thanks wingaap.
Found without too much difficulty after reading the RIGHT CACHE SHEET - had a couple mixed up and was looking for a bridge here...

Nice easy find on a warm day. We hadn't realised how dry it has become in some urban areas. Everywhere we have been today, the grass is brown and crunchy underfoot. If there isn't rain soon, some of these places will be not much more than dustbowls. TFTC
As Happy Harries said. This cache was probably easier than it should have been. But it has been covered up properly this time. TFTC.
I love celebtating milestones with great caches and this wingers special bought up 700 caches for the Happyharries. Unfortunatley it was exposed so the find was probably easier than intended however still as pleasing. I hid it hopefully as Wingap would have intended it to be. TFTC.
I think there are about 7 clumps of trees around here matching that description, but I turned up the cache quick enough. TFTC.
Easily found at 5:30pm, our last for the day. After reading a previous log about a spider being present we decided to fish the cache out with a stick. Snap lock bag was quite tatty so we replaced it. TFTC!
After my experience with the police at Royal Rocks this one was a sinch.

A nice find next to a great bike path - I like its history lesson. Left a bottle opener, courtesy of a recent trip to Perth - just enough room!
This cache was find number 22 of 102 finds I did with Dtay for our record attempt on Saturday 18 November 2006.

I was a bit surprised when extracting this cache - it fought back! - Not from wildlife but being attached to its host.

This cache is aptly named. It certainly is and you wont be taking it anywhere in a hurry. This was an easy find because the hiders went to such lengths to describe the location. [^] Thanks Wingaap for another good hide. You must eat a lot of Eclipse mints!
I found this one easily, thanks to having more of an idea of the lengths Wingaap goes to to hide things.
Picked out the wingaap camauflage from about 20 metres out. Am I starting to think like wingaap? Is this a cause for concern? Thanks for the cache. Cheers, Featherwaite.

Note: Another Wingaap cleverly disguised cache for us to find as Adacache and I made our way through the West side of town this afternoon on our Briz Blitz Event Day. It’s getting to be a bit ordeal finding these caches. What’d do ya mean getting to be … it IS an ordeal to find a tricky Wingy cache hide! LOL! Fortunately Wingaap himself was on hand to laugh out loud at our antics in the search for the cache. Adacache and I wandered about in ever decreasing circles … “I can see it from here†was his catch cry as we scratched our heads and tried to re-organize our thoughts. Ahhhh … success at last!!!! We loved how this one was presented! Thanks for the fun we had today! We’re havin’ a blast!

Fourteenth of fifty cache finds for the day, on my fly in fly out visit. I found the cache at 12:35. Another nice park, this one had me this way and then that way, Dak had made the comment in his log that he had used his Acts2YG training to find this one, Once I realized that I stood back and scanned the area and bingo my keen eye spotted the hide. Thanks Wingaap for the cache
15:11 Nice hidey hole for this one. Note that the mound at the GZ is a Scrub Turkey mound and should be steered clear of.
TNLN. Took me quite a wile to find this one.

We weren't the only turkeys out today - there was one scratching around near the cache site. Thanks wingaap
Found this one on the way to find a heap of other ones. Was a bit of a mission as we did it without any GPS assistance but we got there in the end.
