I was just picking off some park and grabs on my way to Lincoln so I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this one dates back to 2005. after finding, signing and replacing I spent a few moments reading up on the monument. Thanks for keeping this one going.
I went out for a few equinox geocaches today before I went to the shops. Great spoty for a classic cache. Found it after a bit of search in a logical spot. Thanks for keeping this one alive for so long. TFTC, Biggles.
Meeting a friend for lunch in Prebbleton but Im a bit early. What better way to pass the time than bagging a few caches? I was pleased to stumble across this oldie. Interesting monument.
Wow, some serious commitment to ploughing! I definitely expected some of these memorials to be for a war, but no, they're all to do with ploughing! Looks like the ploughing competition that was held was a pretty big deal, at least to those who made this memorial area. As I'm not a farmer it's not something I can relate to, and I've never watching any ploughing competitions, but thanks to all the farmers for all their work growing food for us! And thanks for the cache, right where I expected it to be, although I didn't see it the first time. Managed to hit my head on the plough looking in other places, but you definitely don't need to do that to get the cache! Still got a sore head but at least I found the cache! Thanks!
My last find for the day before heading back to Christchurch. A nice easy find thanks Conton and Triggerfish#14807
On way to visit friends and a dot day to fill in.
Pretty cool way to mark a bit of history.

NZ_B, TwigNZ and I have come to Christchurch to complete a number of shared and individual challenges. Today is home time, but managed to fit in this cache from our accommodation in Lincoln to the airport as it helped me with a gap in my jasmer grid.
All caches signed as T.I.N.T for Team Itchyfeet2020, NZ_B and TwigNZ. TFTC

On the way to the airport this morning we decided to find this cache - the last one of the weekend. I initially thought this memorial was to do with WW1 and WW2. It wasn’t until I got looked up I saw that it wasn’t. I am always amazed when I watch ploughing competitions on television neatly and precisely the farmers can make the furrows. Log signed TINT.
Kia ora rawa atu for the cache Trigger_Fish.

Excursion with downsouthinv while Abbykitt was at an event. Time before our plane to visit this area and see what can be found. And find it we did. Tftc
A quick trip to the area for a few more caches and some unfinished bissness.
Day two of our trip
So today we get the last of one geo art and start a new one .
Let's go have some fun .
Plowing is something I learnt as I worked as a ag contractor and after a few weeks I got the hang of it but no where as good as any of the champions .
Getting out and about in to the out doors is my happy place so any excuse to go caching.
Life is short. Live one foot step at a time.Never say" I'm gonna "- Just do it!!
Thanks for the hide

Driving along this road I saw this monument and wondered if there'd be a cache. So...stopped, checked the app and sure enough, there is!
Great spot, thx for encouraging me to stop. It's a great place to take overseas visitors.

Drove past this morning & thought there has got to be a cache here. Checked when I got home & yes there was. Quick easy find. TFTC

It's go back to Auckland day today and I have a meeting in the CHCH CBD before I head off so a bit of time on my hands after breakfast but conscious of making my timing. I returned via Lincoln Virtual as I'd missed some detail, and decided to do the Adventure lab too as well as anything else in the area. As it was I was only half an hour from Library opening so stayed on for that cache too before heading off. After my meeting I spent some time in Hagley Park and all was good with great weather today.
I have a trip to Christchurch on the cards for Tuesday and back Wednesday and had to leave from Auckland airport good and early and get back in time for Wednesdays rush hour home time traffic, yay. A good time away though with a couple of useful meetings, some nice food and a few caches where time permitted.

Thanks for bringing us to this spot with its interesting piece of history. Looked at the tell tale spot, and there it was. TFTC!
Team BOP on another crazy mission again to the South Island. Lockdown gave us a lot of free time that we directed into Canterbury’s many Geo-Arts and with the Auckland 2020 Mega postponement, Christchurch was an easy decision. Team BOPs current incarnation is DavidsonClan, NZFlossy, McJandals and myself and we’ve signed all the logs as Team BOP to save time and log space.
So Labour Weekend 2020, it’s a numbers mission, the Cachly cut’n’paste template is sorted and while I unapologetically use this tool, I truly appreciate you placing this cache for us to find. We're just having a wander round today with no particular plan - We managed to find this one quickly and without fuss. Cheers moneydork for keeping this old one alive

With the Mega Covid cancelled this year a part of Team BoP decided to come south and try get all our solved puzzles, and some others along the way. So here we are!
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these cache. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

As Auckland Mega has been postponed we decided to do a trip south to Christchurch. Four of us from Team BOP joined up to share a car and accomodation. I always love these weekends as the company is great and makes our days and nights out caching lots of fun. We have done lots of puzzles in preparation and did some long windy roads to get them. Found lots of great caches and thanks to all the COs for the effort that goes into these Please excuse the copied logs and I will try to make some individual notes on as many as I can This sort of trip is where I find the cachly app very valuable. TFTC
On a mission to the south after mega in Auckland was canceled. Team Bop booked airfares and here we are. Thanks all COs for your efforts. Due to numbers please excuse copy and paste logs in advance.
In Christchurch for a few days visiting family. Found some caches while in Lincoln for the daffodil show. Thanks Trigger_Fish for the cache.

Quickly found then read plaques. My father was a farmer who did a little ploughing but nothing like required here. My grandfather would have guided horse and plough (a bit like one on display). TFTC
In Christchurch for the weekend and found this on my way to Lincoln on a wee detour before heading home TFTC
Perfect timing for a beautiful day after two days of horrible weather when I was stuck inside at a conference! I bit on the chilly side in the morning, but the temperatures certainly improved as the day went on. TFTC!!
Nice easy cache ..good to see memorials like these placed to honour our pioneers thanks moneydork for looking after this cache
Another interesting place to visit as Google takes us to Akaroa. Thanks for the cache.
First visit to New Zealand, and what a way to see this beautiful country - a lap of the South Island by motorhome!
We started in Christchurch where we spent our first night. After camping nearby we made late start this morning.
First find of the day here. It's a relatively recent cairn, in historic terms.

...stopped past and checked on my way home. Cache still there (eclipse mint tin); with plastic bag & log paper.....All good.
Weird. 2nd cache found today with no log. BUT there was a bit of paper informing it had been muggled by "Smelly toes". Wad still able to mark my find. Alas I had no paper with me to replace. Next finger perhaps? Cheers anyway.
Stopped the night in Rolleston and today we are winding our way back to Christchurch. A glorious day and ready for some quick and easy finds to boost numbers. We hoping to get to CHCH to do some Wherigos but having looked them us we decided they would eat up time too much on this trip. Gonna grab the Virtual in central CHCH though. Thanks to all who placed these caches along the way. Love the fact its easy to pull off and park. Surprised the country roads are as busy as they are. Wish we could have stay a couple of weeks and not just four days. We will return!
What an interesting site. This was a goodie so giving it a favourite. TFTC

Where I thought it would be, alot of drivers looking at me just sitting on wall till I got the chance to grab it
Was really confused, found it easily enough but wasn't what I was expecting, found eclipse tin instead, thought I found different hide, but then checked activity and it made sense. Thanks to the previous hunters for replacing
last one for today. thanks for the box. found even a reference to my home country
Think this been taken only found bag put paper in to keep it going now in eclipse tin
