What a shame I had been trying to line up Mark to get this one for ages.
It is always sad to see the older caches go

No, I couldn't find it either dispite a recount and then checking all the likely 'candidates' in the area. I must confess I couldn't wait to get out of there though.
Did not find despite recounting several times and closely checking GZ. We think the cache may have gone walkabouts!
Nice One!!!!!!!!!Planning an another trip to the big smoke (early October) and found we had overlooked logging this cache find back in June. Sorry about that. Area of GZ does not really fit with the theme of the Garden City. Bit scary. Adds to the fun! No problem with the find. Thanks
Felt a bit uncomfortable doing it by myself as it's a bit scarey in there! Quick find despite being vertically challenged. TFTC.
A quick find, cache exactly where it should be. I felt rather uncomfortable at GZ, and... pew the stench!

Had read up on this ages ago, search was nothing like what I was expecting. For some reason I thought the name was talking about the undercarriage of an aircraft. KN jnr 1 did not like the location. Tried checking every possible location but no luck. Got back to the car to discover that KN jnr 2's white top was not so white any longer. Will bring MrKN with us next time as today he was playing soccer.
I had read up on this one before leaving home but of course it was not like I had imagined. Knew what the thingy was though and made short work of a good hide, thanks ridders76.
This had an element of risk going to unknown interesting urban jungle territory, but quiet day on the tracks & cache quickly found with visual victaulics. Thanks. (#349)
Wouldnt like to go looking for this one at night. Someone had emptied a wheely bin full of bottles all over the path made for hazardous walking. TFTC
Interesting little puzzle thanks. Its always fun doing these ones that have a point of difference. TFTC (423)
Quick find, remember to bring your own writing instrument as there was non in the container..

Took a bit of head scratching but soon realised what a Victaultic was. Then it was a nice quick find after that. Lots of carriages there today, so the cache prolly was almost under a carriage TNLN, TFTC.
A quick find - thank goodness, as we forgot a rugby game was due to start in an hour or two and spectators use the tunnel tog et from car parking to the stadium. No place to hide, and muggles will spot you from a long way away!
Great cache theme - not sure I would like to do this one at night though. TFTC.
#132 Quick Find in the undercarriage! Very stinky around here......

Attempted this last year during one of its periodic "muggled" phases. Found quickly this time round although I made it ten victaulics rather than 11.
#168. Found with Troodles. Had already been through here during my walks of all Chch streets (Troodles is now a little tired of me saying "I've walked down here" every time we get to a part of the city she hasn't seen before). Nice cache.
Nice cache, not sure if the camo was needed, but there you have it. Much enjoyed. TFTP
On something of a puzzle cache binge at the moment. Didn't know what a victaulic was until today and may never need to know again, but thanks for the lesson and cache.
Finally managed to get this one and very pleased to do so, last two visits to CHCH have not co-incided with it not being there. Thanks for the replacement.

Had looked up what that mystery word meant before we left home, so this was a quick find - which was good given the local art work!!!! (Cool T60 ....... PB speak for echo!!!!!) TNLN TFTC

"Aha wait 'til you get to GZ and you will see sez we hopefully". Sooo a quick scout around and all was revealed. Nice easy find oncewe discovered what a "Victraulic" was.

On the way to the airport with sp00k and ciotach. Easy find once sp00k worked out what a "victaulic" was!
Great camouflaged container and we are surprised to hear that it goes missing! Worked this one out before coming here on our holiday, so just had to pop along and find it today. SL. TFTC.
Also logging in and out our England Geocoin.

***** REVIEWER NOTE *****
Hi Ridders76
It appears that this cache has been inactive for quite some time. Is it going to be replaced or should it be archived to make room for possible future caches? If the cache owner does not contact me by 21 October, I'll assume the cache needs to be archived.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.
Thanks for your understanding,
Regards,

Suspect this is gone. Know what a victaulic is and followed instructions to the letter but no cache.
Just the right day to do this cache. I knew it was there and it was raining. This cache is very sheltered from the weather. A quick find and a quick grab because a couple of muggles were coming. I took it back to the car to fill in and had to put it back quickly before a couple more muggles got too close. Hope I counted right.

Much easier to find now that the cache has been replaced. I suspect the night residents found the old one! It was nice to know I wasn't going mad. TFTC
Visited early on Sunday morning so there was no one about apart from someone riding a motorbike through at one point. Found this to be a rather interesting place, a true urban work of art. By the look of the nearby rubbish and bottles it's obviously a bit of a "hang out".
However, despite a very thorough search even a couple of victaulics either side I was unable to find the cache. Went back to the car and returned to search high and low with the torch but still nothing found.

DNF (blow)! Mind you I showed up with no idea what victaulics are. Made a wild guess and went hunting but to no avail. Have since googled victaulics and now know I was right all along. Will be back to try again but suspect muggle activity. Once I've been back I will let ridders76 know. Watch this space...
Yes, well this micro was certainly very urban! I must remember to bring my spray can next time. Didn't seem to be a pencil in the cache, didn't think to bring one myself so log not signed. TFTC Rex.
I arrived here having prior knowledge of the unit involved. but still had trouble and ended up traveling too far. After a recount I spread the search a bit and finally found the tricky hide. but ended up having to walk back again before returning it a when a muggle came past. I did not fancy being thought of as one who would lurk in such a place.

An interesting place for a cache, much "colourful" artwork on the surrounds. Didn't stay to long as a southerly was blowing. Thanks.
Found on our way to the airport. All I can say about this one is INTERESTING spot!!! and I now have victaulics as a word to use in scrabble TFTC
Another nice hide, nice spot. Worked out that i was looking for back home in Auckland.
Didn't take long to find.

This one had us thinking, We used our 'phone a friend' to see what Victualics might mean.
Very clever.

We weren't sure what to expect here, but being in the area, we couldn't resist having a look see. It turned out to be an easy find, but had me wondering for a short while. SL. Thanks for the cache and the fun.
Well I see some of the other coments about this cache and thought of giving it a miss. That would have been a mistake, the place was good the hidding place great considering the amount of young people about.

Good hiding place. I didnt hang around long because that place gives me the heebie geebies...and also it stank of urine!
Went here twice as never read the info on it the first time. As expected it had us baffled that time. This time we went in armed and instant success. Sneaky because we had checked there too the first time. Just never felt. There was a few eerie noises coming along the tunnel today and not sure where they were coming from. Decided not to hang around and find out. Interesting artwork Hehe Cheers!
I sort of new this area,Had been there in my younger days, and yes it still is a seady and scary place to go,I worked out the clue and found the cach, wrote in my name and scudoodled out of there, thanks
An earlier log gave us the heebie-geebies but we felt OK visiting at midday. We were aided by an Infrared camera brought along by the mathematician. Probably still wouldn't venture here alone.
We are usually fairly useless at puzzle caches, but we googled "Victaulics" and gave it a go. No problems, managed to go straight to the cache first time. TNLN Thanks
We had trouble finding a place to write our name,it was dark there and that didn't help.I think the paper could do with being replaced.
Because of the comments didn't want to do this one by myself.Once we figured out the clue it was easy, the hardest part was putting it back for us shorter people.I remember this place from when I was a teenager and that isn't as bad as it sounds.
Out caching with Lytteltonwitch today. On way home she mentioned this cache she didn't want to do on her own. I had no printout but I did have a new toy a PDA. Walla detail in a trice. I can understand why noone would want to go here alone. If you are on the short side it's an additional challenge replacing the cache. We made a quick exit an didn't stay around to admire the art.
6:55pm, #14 of day 4 of our week in Chch (that's 62 to date). First one after tea, didn't seem as bad a place as some of the logs indicated. Junior Nof was very keen on doing this - she actually knew what victaulics where !
Good use of clue "Victaulics" BUT very poor choice of location . In my opinion this is not what caching is all about. and would advise any visiting cachers or cachers with family to give this one a miss. It takes you to a grotty cess pit.
This is a place that used to fascinate me when I was a kid, and it is an awsome place when a train goes past. I got a bit spooked when boy racer cars pulled up at both ends at the same time, but they went away after a minute or two.
Thanks,

Clever indeed, and I learnt a new word in the process of finding this cache. Thanks. Muggle (almost) free on a holiday weekend.
nice cache placing, observation of the surroundings explains a lot. Cee Dee Clues and the Kees are found!
No light source of my own, but able to use the distant brightness to find the cache. Great idea, thanks.
Did his one briefly on the way back from dropping a travel buddy off. Cool area, luckily there was no-one about, and I easily found the V's and counted them in. I expanded my search a little and found it very quickly and made a rushed log as some people were coming from the northern end and I didn't want to look like a drug dealer No exchange. Cheers Gav [851]
After BaldCat found it I decided to try again, and found it easy.

What a spooky seedy place. Thought they had blocked off places like this in NZ. Great place for a cache all the same.

Was very tidy, very little litter. May have been muggled.

Safety in numbers alright - returned with Swanny & Bevan. Heaps of cans and glue there - watch out for needles.
Decided that safety in numbers is a good policy - so returned with the whole tribe. A neat idea - Thanks.
I've also heard of people being assaulted here - much more recently. Please take care...
