With much hesitation and regret we need to archive our first cache. GZ is not as covered as it once was and is not suitable for replacement. Who knows maybe it will be resurrected elsewhere??
THENANKS from Qld stopped to do this cache on our way from Hahndorf to the chocolate factory nearby. We worked out all the answers and were keen to head off to look for the cache when we checked the latest logs.
We decided to give it a miss as it may have been a waste of time. Never mind. We enjoyed the playground too!
Thanks for bringing us here.

Should have read the logs before then i wouldn't have come looking. Saw something pretty amazing in playground though. Just standing there double-checking numbers when there was a loud crack, and we barely had time to look up before a huge branch came crashing down on the swings. Looked pretty cool I must say.
After some playground equipment counting, we headed over to where we thought GZ should be. This proved to be a walk in vain, however, as we could not locate the cache even after the "jump". Oh well...
Decided that a cache check was in order.....but I couldn't find my own cache!!! I did try and search with a three month old in my arms just before his dinner. Will come back to check in more daylight, in the meantime if any recent finders could email me that would be great.
Once I got over my 'Langy maths moment' the final coords looked a lot better. A quickish find although I think this is going to get more difficult as the years go by? TNLN
Our last Cache and our only DNF for the day was hoping for a 7 out of 7. Did the maths and think we were in the right area but GPS going a bit boonta and we just couldn't find it, we were just a bit to tired I think. One we will have to come back to ?maybe have to get a clue to make sure we were in the right area.
Was nearly the second DNF for the day!!! GZ was not exactly where my GPS took me to. Then just as I saw it; MUGGLES taking their dog for a walk.......happily they went the other way!
TNLNSL. Loved the maths at the start!!

Found at 1445hrs after collecting the appropriate info from the playground, we found after a bit of a search as the GPS was a bit out due to the tree & cloud cover. TNLNSL thanks Ermies
Another cache crossed of my to do list. Was in the area visiting a new Woodside resident. Worked out the clues easy enough but when we got near GZ the arrow was swinging around, maybe the trees who knows. I was almost about to chuck it in, the cache owner obviously busy at work because he didn't answer my sos text, after 15 mins had a look in a spot I was avoiding due to lots of water and BINGO. "That naughty Mat" Jack kept saying.
Hmmm. Think I did the maths right and ended up at a spot that seemed right and matched the description. But came up blank on the search. Fab has a friend whose backyard is almost on this cache!
Not too difficult, but I thought I might have miscounted the steps. Not too many muggles. TFTC.
Went for the walk and found it okay. Was ready for lunch but the Bakery was closed

Yeah It's our first Multi and we found it. This was a great one to be our first. After a day of caching it was nice to sit in a lovely playground and let the geokid play while I solved the puzzle and waited for the cricket match to finish.
Took red frog and Left Narnia whistle
Thanks very much

Passing through and stopped for lunch.. what a coincedence, there just happens to be a cache here, (cough cough). Worked out clues and found the drop. TNLN
Cruisng with Skippy and others makes this one easy find.

Found this one with gozling, voogoofish and muggle/new cacher. Managed to get something slimey all over my hands! TNLN
Awesome, the playground was lit up like a christmas tree! did the maths calcs and off we went... now we need the torches looked for a little while before finding it, glad it was not too wet took kangaroo keyring (go aussie in the world cup) left: voogoofish badge SL. took three muggles (photographed) although all have cached before unofficially... so what does that make them??? muggles or geocachers [?]
Found this with ds-fifty. Now I am a member, I am catching up with my logs. TFTC
Geokid thought a playground cache would be cool. All equipment was used while I read out the questions. We had followed the coords to WP2 and found ourselves in the middle of a soccer pitch. We found what should be the jump 25m away, but no cache. Rechecked the questions and had an argument about what constituted a red pole and a wooden step, when I realised I can't read - Geokid guessed the right figure for complete (not incomplete) circles for clue (e) WP2 was found quickly and cache was in hand a moment later. Took Guy Smiley and left a Magic Mountain token and a beaded bag. SL TFTC
Stopped here at sunset on the way home from Mannum, but there were several teenagers sitting on the equipment. Walked the dog around and counted some of the features, but it was too hard to not look suspicious. As I drove off I noticed them all leaving, but I couldn't be bothered turning around.
After an attempt earlier in day (Sundays around 11 - soccermatches on!) decided there were too many muggles around and to try again later. Came back later early afternoon and nearly slipped over when attempting the "jump" found the cache easily. Took Dice, 2 bouncy balls and teddy, Left Pluto, 2 Erasers pen and Guy Smiley.
Having refuelled in Woodside (fuel guage had been worryingly low), we wandered around in the torchlight and nearly gave up as one torch faded and the cache remained elusive! We stuck it out and were rewarded.

Headed out to find some multies today, this ended up being the only one, with 2 finds in total for the morning!! [:o)]
Great spot to stop, clues all found easily, with no muggles around(at school), calculated and found gz fairly quickly. Although I was startled by a worker peering over the fence asking "are you ok?" Seems I didn't hear him coming, I told him "the kids lost some toys here the other day, just collecting them" [^]
TNLNSL Took the SupaChicken TB though.
Thanks

I had a lot of funny looks here by some mums and dads, I'll have to come back when no kids are about, or i'll bring my own.
Found by JackHenry 6/3/2006 around noon. Tried this the other night by car headlights, but got driven off by mosquitoes. Took Anzac Badge and dropped 'Miss Scarlett' TB off to continue her man hunting journey.
Took a while as when I first arrived their was a cricket match playing had to come back a few hours later.
Nice easy find once realised where to look. Thanks for a great cache:)
Took TB Key to the Door

Second visit to the site. This time arrived around dusk and no cricketers to be seen. Recalculated and secured another find soon after. Top spot for a hide!!
Found by Mary & David at 1445. Great fun - Erin is a lucky girl. Good to be back near Mary's family seat (Nairne). Thoroughly enjoyed watching 3 baby galahs pestering their hard-pressed parents to be fed high in a gum tree near GZ. Took SIDS Bear, left Craft Bear. Also dropped off TB 'Key to the Door'. Our thanks once more to Team Ermalesh.
Did the clues last saturday but when we got to GZ found a cricket match going on, so decided to wait. Found no worries today in fact cache was exposed could be seen from six metres away. Swapped a anzac pin for a sids pin. Tried to cover cache a bit better. Thanks Ermalesh
We get a lot of enjoyment of caches in playgrounds. We have instant camouflague and our children work off some excess energy. And toilets in the vicinity! Our cup runneth over! [:D Found the cache after a few arguments over who was going to retrieve it followed by tears from those who didn't get the job. TNLN Thanks Ermalesh
I don't know why I couldn't find this on my last visit. No one else seemed to have any real problems but me. Stil, I found it now and enjoyed the drive to get my haircut nearby. This is the first find in 2006 for Posspet Boys.
Second one for the day. Lots of people over learning to swim but no-one nearby. Easy find. Left superball.

My first find using the new IPAQ.
Great to be able to reference the waypoint and type up notes as I worked through this multi.
It was raining and no one was about.
GZ was spot on and I soon had the container in hand.

A bloke with a tiny dog was hanging around GZ. Yep, right there. 30mins later, he was still there. Was he a cacher, or doing something weird? Came back 30mins later and he had vanished. Had the cache quickly this time, and returned it a little more securely (it was semi exposed and could easily have slipped into the……). Took pin and left large dice. Thanx Team Ermalesh
Just passing through!

Made my calculations and headed bush. Likewise felt a bit conspicous. Looked and looked. Nearly gave up, then brushed something with the size 10's. Lovely cache, thanks guys.
It was cool and drizzly, so not very many kids in the playground. Quick calculations, and off for the find. One or two doubtful interpretations had us guessing at the third decimal point, but found cache after a brief search. Took Bart Simpson figure, left handmade ladybird brooch. Cheers!
Felt a bit exposed while searching for this one, but found quite easily in a spot that affords some cover to do the log thing. Grabbed the Geocoin and will move it onto WA next week. Left an emergency resuscitation mask. Thanks guys. Very pleasant little spot at the playground.
A lovely setting for a cache. While working out the coords at the playground, we were kept entertained by a group of lads playing a woefully out of tune electric guitar. No wonder the playground was empty. Soon worked out the location of the cache, and set off for it. Found after a few minutes, took Agro, left Bart Simpson. Picked up TB Bouncy the ball. Thanks Team Ermalesh
Going to cheat a bit on this one.
Since I dont own it, but helped set it up, I will claim a find while droping off the 'Wine' TB
Hope you all enjoy the cache

This one popped up on my computer & I couldn't resist since it was so close to home. 30 min later it was in hand thanks to the spot on coordinates for GZ & I had a huge smile on my face. Nothing better than A FTF on your birthday!!!
TNLN but swapped the 'bouncing' TB for the 'wine' TB.
Great first cache Ermalesh. Cheers.
