A wonderful scenic spot, arrived from the fish ponds. After searching high and low I relunctantly gave up on this one. Pleasent walk out after the rain with some late afternoon sun.

Hi 2 Dogs
Came down on my bike to deposit a travel bug in the Old Bailey. As I was the last person to actually find this cache back in September last year, I am pretty sure of where it used to be. Had a long look for it in that spot and all around the area for more than half an hour.

With alot of beer bottles, campfires and other obvious signs of muggles just about 5 to 10 metres away, I'm thinking that there is a good chance The Old Bailey isn't there any more, with no finds in half a year.

I think that probably a replacement cache is in order.

My 2nd 2 Dogs failure of the day. This search started innocently enough with the GPS pointing me at the obvious location to search. Nothing. When I looked at the GPS it was now pointing at the middle of the road. The search there took no time at all. Now it was pointing at the hillside on the other side of the road. Nothing there either. Will return when I can get a better lock.

this was my second attempt at this cache. Even with my GPSr set to the right Datum (this time). I luck as i got driven off by muggles after about 15min of searching.

First find for me, good spot to hide a cache. Great fun with the mountain bike on the way down. Bit hard getting back again though.

Now I'm off to find more caches! Thanks 2Dogs.

Beautiful spot for my first find. Didn't know that there was countryside like this so close to Hornsby. Recommend going to the fish ponds if you have the time.

We walked to this cache from "Rock Hopper" and my god what a walk, after having around 20mm of rain in this area over the last 24hours and the sun being out today with a decent temp of 28'c making and getting over having the flu this was the hardest cache i have ever done, i liked the final destination but could not enjoy it as all i wanted was to fall onto the ground and pass out.

Isn’t the Old Bailey a court in London where they used to sentence people to deportation to some god-forsaken place on the other side of the world?

On wet and misty morning we strode fourth into the wild wilderness of Hornsby where a pair of wild dogs roam. As we descended into the valley we came across signs warning that there is a chance you maybe shot, which is pretty tame by our standards. The warning signs around our way say you could be shot, blown up or zapped by a laser.
So we risked life and limb and continued onwards and downwards until the mist from the creek rose above our heads to reveal a picture out of one of those post cards tourists buy, no not the topless sheilas on the beach, the other ones.
Left Geocoin, book and butterfly stickers.

Decided to come at this one from a different direction as we didn't have much time. After a steady walk and a bit of a scramble down we came to an isolated waterfall and expected to start hunting. However, the GPS said another 100m to go so we pressed on. Met up with the main trail and followed it to the Old Bailey bridge and found the cache without much difficulty. Contemplated returning by the main track but someone had to get the car. Besides which the warning signs about falling projectiles was a little off-putting. Left puzzle and took GeoCoin.

The second for the night following the extra hour made possible by daylight savings time. Great walk to the cache - we would never have predicted such a nice fire-trail down to GZ. Next time we come this way, I reckon it will be on mountain bikes. Easy find. TNLN. Thanks again 2 Dogs.
